Case: BL-29: Turnabout Slugger
Crime: Murder
Crime Data: The star pitcher of the Marksville Jaguars has been arrested for murdering an obsessive uber-fan who had been stalking him.
Victim Data: Ashley Beaker (age 22), a huge baseball fanatic, known to be a huge fan of the defendant. Has been caught and arrested for trepassing in the stadium to meet her idol several times prior to the murder.
Suspect Data: Jacob Hudson (age 28) Star pitcher of the Marksvile Jaguars. Known to be handsome and popular, having many fans like the victim.
Reason for Suspicion: Was found at the scene of the crime, murder weapon belongs to him, covered in his fingerprints. Victim and suspect have a turbulent history. Witness claims to have seen the fight.
Evidence List - (more to come as case continues)
Ashley's Autopsy Report: Victim died from a single knife wound to the chest, died nearly immediately. Had many small scratches and cuts on her arms and back, indicating a struggle.
Knife: Roughly 4 inch utility knife. Belongs to defendant, found in victim's chest. Defendant's fingerprints found all over the grip.
Witness Data
Alan Hodge (Age 27) - Other star pitcher and friend to defendant. Knew about relationship with victim, and tried to keep the two separated. Claims to know nothing about the murder.
Veronica Myers Hudson (Age 30) - Owner of Marksville Jaguars, and wife to defendant. Was the person who found the body, as well as reported the crime to the police. Heard a struggle prior to discovering the body, but did not see the fight.
Sylvia Steel (Age 42) - Cleaning lady who worked at Marksville Stadium. Claims to have seen the defendant and the victim fighting, as well as the actual murder itself. Has no history with either the defendant or the victim.
