Tyler had suddenly remebered his air hockey game with his manager. "Let's get it on then!"
No reply.
"What the... scared now? Come on, I'll go easy on you..."
Still no reply... In fact, there wasn't much sound at all... weird. The Tv couldn't even be heard... and that thing was usually blaring.
Tyler looked at the tv. The image had frozen in place... "What the- that's a new tv..." He said, and went to change the channel.
Upon touching it, Tyler immedatly relled back... that thing was cold... really cold. Burning cold...
"What's going on here?"
Now that he thought about it, his wrist felt feally cold.
Tyler lifter his wrist and examined the watch... witch was also cold. The clock said exactly 12:00... but it didn't move.
He looked around... everything else seemed normal...
Tyler shrugged, "Whatever, and went into the basement..."
"Upon entering the room, he screamed. He had found his manager..."
Completly still.
His entire body frozen over

While AD was trying to think of a drink to order a rather a few other people came in but the one who caught AD's eye was a man with a Cello..He looked like he hadn't had a good nights sleep in a long time. Before AD had realized it time had passed and it was 12:00 AM. But for some reason when he realized this the whole place had become freezing. When he stood up ice feel off of his Clothes and hair...As if he was almost frozen solid.
"The Hell? What's going on here?"
When AD looked around he didn't see the man with the Cello or the employees anywhere...Maybe they were behind the counter? AD thought of looking behind there but he decided to take a quick look outside when he realized the Doors had a thin layer of frost preventing him from leaving from the front.
"The Doors......This ain't right. How could they freeze like this?! Wait...Is anyone still in here? They could probably help me break this ice...Or maybe the door..."

Shiloh gripped her arms close to her body and looked at the clock on the wall. 12:00? Wow, time flew. But the hands weren't moving. Except for a few other people in the bar, everything was completely still.
This was wrong. Shiloh felt sick to her stomach.
One of the two other people in the room was struggling with the door. She ran to help.
"They're frozen shut? I'll get something."
She glanced over to the man she had given the crepe to.
"Can you help us?"

Stop thinking wildly. Calm down. ?He was the only one frozen beacuse out of everyone here, he was the only one who didn't have the potential...
Tyler paused... the voice was coming from... himself. "WHo are you?"
"Didn't I already tell you? I am you. You are me. Get used to it.
"okay... I'm going crazy. WHat else can you tell me?"
"I can tell you that you're coming closer to yourself."
"...shut up. You're not making sense." Tyler said, and walked for the door... frozen.
"Okay, what's going on here... me?"

Adrastos took a deep breath and ran into the door with his shoulder. When he hit the door a feeling of overwhelming cold took over for a second. AD took a few steps back to warm up when he saw a few cracks appear on the thin layer of ice covering the door.
"Okay...That sort of worked..."
AD looked around to see the employee who was working here came out from behind the counter looking a bit confused. The girl who offered to look for something to help break the ice was doing just that.
"Hey..Er....Girl...Did you find anything yet?"

Shirou facepalmed when he found himself on the highway again. He had taken the wrong turn and figured he should have thought the way over twice since he still wasn't that much familiar with the city's layout... except this highway in particular. Since he was assigned to it and all, its surroundings were now commonplace. But as he tried to get back to his trail, something weird happened. The atmospheric pression pushed him down somehow, and suddenly standing up had become fairly more difficult.
"What the..." Shirou almost swore, but around him, the sudden change of atmosphere seemed to have changed the scenery too. Suddenly, it looked much darker and... chilly for some reason. He was glad his clothing of choice was nice for that intensification of the weather. After standing up properly, Shirou looked straight down the way and saw no one, except for some weird... blue... thing he couldn't distinguish from afar. Curiosity gaining the best of him, he sprang in that direction, and when the image of a frozen solid citizen was now unmistakable, he stopped and stared aghast at it.
A minute or two must have elapsed before he could do anything. His first thought was freeing the person. Hesitantly, he hit the ice with a kick, but no effect. Then he tried again, stronger. Then again. No effect. Fearing he could break the man as well if he insisted on breaking the ice, he stopped. What DID just happen, anyway? What kind of crazy joke is this? The weather... it can be THAT bad... can it? He instinctively looked in the weather station's direction, and his jaw dropped as he saw in its place a large icicle in the place were he usually saw his reference building.
Well, something like that can't be a joke... so what just happened? He was in awe, but suddenly his racing mind took over and he found himself wanting to investigate instead of going home or to the bar he intended to. And so he approached the giant Icicle, still rather hesitantly.
I hope I'm not interrupting anyone's sleep... I mean, it must be pretty late now... He checked his watch for a second and it was exactly twelve o'clock. Yes, pretty late... but well, this can't go unanswered... and hell, there is two people frozen solid out there! I must warn someone of this... Thinking that way, Shirou charged into the place through its big entrance.

Briar dropped off the remaining pamphlets at the Arcane's office and picked up her spare cigarettes from her office. It was a relief when she lit up a stick, the heat warmed her a little and the nicotine helped keep her mind off the cold and how late it was. She was starting the trip back to her apartment when her cell rang. She picked up without looking at the number.
"Briar speaking."
"Briar, I need you to do me a big favor."
Briar stiffened at the voice on reflex. "...Hey, Ariel. Isn't it a bit late?"
"I know and I'm really sorry but I didn't realize I goofed up till now."
Ariel? Goofed? Her sister did not goof, or at least not hugely. Nevertheless, Briar said, "What is it? I'll do it if I can."
"You will? Thanks!" Her sister exclaimed. "Okay. So, I was supposed to pick up some paperwork from the weather station and it slipped my mind. If you're nearby, can you pick it up? There should be a security guard or two at the delivery doors expecting me. Tell them I sent you and you should get them. Can you do that?"
"I dunno..."
"Please? I'd do it myself but I'm at Shohei's tonight so I'm nowhere in the area."
"Ah," Briar said simply. The fiance. Of course. She could think of a lot more things than distance keeping Ariel busy. She checked her watch. The walk to the weather station from where she stood was a ten to fifteen minute walk. She let out a suffering sigh. "Fine, I will. But you owe me cake at that cafe on 43rd."
"Deal! Thank you so much! I'll call them and let them know you're coming."
They exchanged farewells and Briar went on her way. She sucked in a deep breath of nicotine, trying to ignore the familiar stabs of jealousy and bitterness. She didn't know how Ariel did it but when Briar talked to her she felt none of those petty emotions. When Briar actually had time to think...
It was a few minutes to midnight when she made it to the weather station. Following Ariel's instructions she went around to the side entrance and tapped on the cold steel door until a security guard came out to check.
"I'm Briar Shea," Briar told him. "Ariel Shea should have called earlier about some papers?"
The guard turned his head to something on the side before nodding. "Yeah, she called a few minutes ago. Give me a sec find them. You want to come inside while I look? You look like you're on you're way to becoming a popsicle."
"That'd be great," Briar said with a grateful smile.
"Hold on, need you to put out the butt first."
Briar managed not to scowl. She still had a fair bit of the stick left and she would only be in there for a few minutes, talk about a waste. She started to say she'd wait outside but a strong wind picked up and chilled her to the bone in one blow and she quickly put out her cigarette. The guard nodded in approval and widened the door for her to enter.
"Just wait here, I'll be right back with the documents. This goes without saying but don't touch anything."
Briar glanced meaningfully at the camera mounted on the far corner. "I won't."
Satisfied, he left through the open door. Briar blew into her hands, feeling them tingle as the heat of the room caught up with her. She hoped the security guard would take a long while. She was not looking forward to heading back outside when it was so warm in there.
And then suddenly it wasn't.
Briar clutched at her jacket. Did their heater suddenly break down? Holy crap, I can see my breath. And...what the hell!?
The drab, grey concrete walls suddenly looked darker and glistened. The lights were all dimmed and covered by the same substance on the walls. She unconsciously took a step back towards the door and yelped when her back hit something freezing. She whirled back, expecting to see the steel door but all she saw was a sheer wall of what she now recognized as ice.

Tyler nodded, and punched the frozen doorhinge. It cracked for a few seconds, then broke off, allowing Tyler to unblock the door.
"Head towards the giant Icicle."
Icile? Tyler said, and looked around, to where a large point of ice was towering over the city, "THat's... where the weather station should be...."
Exactly... to your right, there is an old fanioshed knights crests, compltle with swords. Grab them. You'll need them
Tyler obeyed, and pulled the swords out, although they were both unbalanced.
"Go now,"
Tyler nodded, and ran for the stations, noticing that almost everyone was frozen solid. How can this be.
He reached the statio, and saw someone he had seen earlier, "Who are you... what's going on here?

Traum pulled back his case and then slammed the bottom end of it onto the door, causing the rest of the ice to fall down.
He fell onto the ground with his case landing onto him.
he closed his eyes for a second;
We must make haste, the hour of my release is near.
The colors of the bar flashed as Traum opened his eyes.

Shiloh helped him up and looked at him and the other blonde man.
"That guy made a run for it," she pointed in the direction Tyler headed... towards the weather station. "He might know what's going on. I'm following him."
Shiloh ran outside and then stopped, gasping at the cold. The rubbed her arms to keep warm. She saw some small pillars of ice. Things were getting stranger and stranger. She glanced at her watch: still exactly midnight.
"Why would he run towards the weather station...?"
Shiloh started walking again and the weather station emerged... except it was now a gigantic stalagmite of ice.
She could see the bar employee in the distance holding... two swords?
"I should bring a weapon... but my gear's at my house and it's too far away and probably frozen shut..."
She found a small swiss army knife in her pocket but that wouldn't do her much good.
Then she spotted a tree and one of the branches had snapped off; perhaps from the cold. It happened to be a similar length and weight as her fencing epee. She sliced away at the tip to make a sharp point with the swiss army knife. She held the thick end of the branch and tried some thrusts. Her hand was freezing against the icy surface of the wood, but it was better than nothing.
Shiloh ran towards the giant icicle again.

"There is no way it is that freaking cold! There's something wrong here...Huh?"
AD quickly turned around feeling like something was watching him....Something with a lot of killing intent.... AD looked for a little bit and only saw Ice and shadows... AD turned his attention back to the Station and saw that the Employee had a pair of pretty nice looking swords... It seemed Shiloh already noticed this and decided to get a makeshift weapon.
Adrastos was starting to feel concerned about whatever gave off that massive wave of killing intent and broke off from the small group starring at the Weather Station to find some sort of pole... A Frozen solid thick tree branch seemed to be a nice weapon choice and he quickly found a suitable branch rather quickly as the thickest tree branches were falling off thanks to the increased weight from the odd ice.
"God this thing is cold....But it works."
AD quickly ran back to the small group to see if anyone figured out what caused this or if they were going to go in to see if anyone was stuck inside...

You're about to find out. One's coming out.
A groan was heard, and the light at the entrance was suddenly blotted out. Out walked a...thing, with a small blue mask. It looked neither like animal or beast, and seemed to glow with darkness.
"WHAT THE-"
Shut it. Fight it.
"um...how?"
...follow my instructions. Right swing feint, left slash, hilt slam, air toss
"...you are so crazy." Tyler said, and charged and followed orders. Nothing seemed to happen, the... blob thing just stood there.
"...so that didn't work...damn, I could destroy these idiots could I only be freed. This one's weak to Hama
"Hama...?" Tyler asked. It was the first time That Tyler really wanted to beat himself out, "HOw do I free you?"
"You can't yet"
"Then what should I do?"
"... running always works... into theice we go...

But he didn't hear him with good reason. Something terrifying, hideous, almost formless came crawling from inside. Words couldn't really describe it, but it was black and held some kind of blue mask. The other guy surprisingly stood up against it and tried fighting, but weirdly, nothing worked. Then the guy started running. The strange shadow seemed to want to follow, but Shirou's legs suddenly moved. He didn't know what motioned him: the call of duty to protect someone else, impulse or the fact that such a thing was brutally shrounded in something he hated at first side, but the fact was that he attacked.
"Haa!" He made a dive to it and tried to grab its many weird hands that came out of it and contain it, but they simply melted on his hands and new formed. His diving left him completely open, and soon he felt what seemed to be a stab through his shoulder and chest. Then he was thrown back with big strength. "G-Gah!!" He rolled back a few times until he could barely sit back again. "K-Kuso! W-What the hell is that thing...!?"
The monster now advanced towards him instead of following the other person. Shirou looked down to himself. He had no weapon with him: his pistol was in the police station. He could make a run for it, but he was injured, and some blood was leaving him from his wound on the chest. It wasn't fatal, but still hurted a lot. Vaguely, despite all of this, he heard people behind him. Their presence was putting themselves in danger. He turned his head to see a small group of people approaching.
"Oe! You! Get back! Leave immediately! This place is not safe!" He screamed, just not trying to stand up because it looked futile to struggle right now when there were other people there. He still tried to kick the shadow back, but to no avail... it just dissolved where he tried to hit it, and formed back.
((I was thinking about awakening, but I decided to leave it open if someone wanted to do or fight first, I can always awaken at another time.))

"I'm dreaming," were the first words to escape Briar's mouth.
She nodded her head firmly, shakily pushing herself away from the former door. "Just gotta be...gotta be fucking dreaming."
She was dreaming. She was really at home already or she crashed in her office or hell, maybe she'd somehow taken a dirt nap on the street, this was not possible. The fact she recognized that meant she was now aware she was dreaming. When you become aware that you're dreaming, you can either control your dream or you wake up but more often then not you wake up.
So wake up already, she told herself. She stood there for a few moments, letting that idea sit. It didn't work. She gave herself a wince worthy pinch. She was still standing there, freezing. At least in a dream she couldn't freeze to death but she still found herself tightly gripping her jacket.
She decided she had to move. At least keep warm until she woke up.
The door the guard had left was still open. She walked through it and looked around. The corridors stunned her. Not only were they, like the door, slick with ice but they were all twisting and turning in a maze that stunned her. Why would anyone build a building like this she had no idea. She promptly reminded herself dreams didn't make sense and chose the right corridor. If she remembered right the main entrance was somewhere in that direction.
Something moved out of the corner of her eye. Her heart jumped and she cried, "Hello?"
No answer. She half jogged up to where she had seen the shadow. It led to a dead end. "Hey, I'm serious, is anyone there? Mr. security guard? Random worker? Nightmare of the week?"
Something moved again. She moved quicker to follow it down the corridors, occasionally calling back out after it.

"Please, sir. You're wounded and you should stay still. We're not completely unarmed. We'll handle it."
She shuffled forward and thrust her makeshift wooden sword at the shadow, but her attack simply bounced off the its elastic body. Shiloh barely dodged when it lunged to counterattack.
Oh no... What do I do?
((Hey this is probably my last post before I fly tomorrow morning. I'll try to post as often as I can while I'm out of town!))

"I hate living in this piece of crap town! There's no fun, no challenbge, nothing catches my eye... that Kendo championahip... BOR-ING!!! How dare they make ME TIE!" the shadow Tyler was saying

"Oh, I'm so STRONG! SO STRONG THAT I TIED WITH SOME RANDOM GIRL WHO IS PROBABLY NOT THAT GOOD ANYWAY! I'M JUST A WEAKLING!"
"..s-stop it..." Tyler said, shocked.
"Isn't that right, me?" THe shadow Tyler said, laughed, and hopped from the stage, witch dissapeared.
"...me? there's no way on earth that-"
DON'T YOU DARE FINISH THAT SENTENCE! his inner voice said, at such a volume that it canceled it out.
"...why not?"
Beacuse that is excatly want it wants. That thing IS you... but it's just showing your true self in the worst possible light. Can you REALLY deny that what he says is true...
"...no, I suppose not. So you really are me then?... I suppose that deep down, that's really how I feel. I do feel weak, I do sometimes hate this down... what are you telling me that I don't know?"
The shadow nodded. "Very wise.. bad for me... but yay for you." With that, the shadow vanished.
"What was that...?"
Head back to the entrance. I can be freed now."
Tyler ran back, where the people he met were trying to deal with the beasts, "How do I free you?"
That'd be against my rules. All I can do is show you the door.
In Tyler's hand, a bright light shot out, revealing a small card, with the picture.

Adrastos was in shock. The strange creature had been easily defeating anyone who dare fight it and was probably going to kill them all. Then the Juice bar employee had come back from inside the station and then summoned some sort...Strange creature the Killed the monster in one move and then healed the Officer who attacked the things wounds with just a word.
"What's...Happening?....This....Isn't normal...Monsters don't exist..Least of all, not ones that are made of darkness! GOD! Wait...Breathe in...Breathe out...Stay calm...Okay..."
After a few deep breathes AD was back to normal...Well as normal as the situation allowed. First things first...How in the world did the Employee get that creature to appear and fight for him? Or how was that monster invincible to everything but that other creature? And most importantly...How would he ask these questions?

Shirou wasn't really sure what to say. The valiant stand of the girl in front of him was fine, but it didn't really affect the weird monster. Shirou felt the urge to scream again something so she would back off. Something to the effect their safety was more important. Again, out of impulse. However, he halted when the boy from before came back, and through some strange means, hit a card in front of him. Then a giant figure appeared before him. It was... divine.
"A-Am I hallucinating? Or am I just... dying... now?" He thought desperately as he struggled on his feet. The divine creature pronounced a word and the monster dissapeared in light. It astounded Shirou, and he needed several moments to process what he just saw. Even more, the boy also said something that made him feel better. Soon he just felt like he had woken up that day. He was now standing properly, and the almighty creature took the lead of him. Unable to follow or do anything else for the moment, he just stood there, waiting for the situation to sink properly into his mind.
When he heard someone speaking behind him, he turned around to the people present. His first thought was to ask for a clarification, but they looked as horribly lost as he did, so he said nothing. He first turned to the girl that risked herself to save him, and bowed respectfully.
"Thank you for helping me." He stuttered a bit, but it wasn't as if he could be calm at all when the situation was so foreign, so weird. Then he started to think on what to do next, and speaking while at it, not intending to direct to anyone in particular. "I have... no freaking clue of what is happening, but this place is giving me very cold vibes." He stopped, realising that the sentence could have been considered funny in a calmer situation, given the scenario they were in. He wished he could tell people not to enter on that place, but it would have been very strange to say that when a dude had just entered... with what seemed to be a warrior as bodyguard. He sighed. "Information, information. Right... Is the rest of the town like this? Are people frozen on other places too? Just what is causing this..."
Shirou turned back to the entrance, realising something. "There could be other people inside. Whatever happened, the fact is that some people are frozen. Maybe they're dead. I have no freaking idea. We must... we must search for survivors... and if there are inside this place, they could be in serious trouble... whatever freaking hell may be these things, they can kill. I don't know what place is safe, but I feel that with that guy, it's safer than anywhere else..." And so, he looked to the rest of the group, thinking whether he should try to order that situation or settle their nerves, though he certainly wouldn't obtain any result.
Shirou hesitantly walked after the guy that had entered.

She glanced at the employee, who had summoned the angel.

Valkyrie answered for Tyler, "Those beings are called shadows, and only people of my type, PErsona weilders, can defet them. Relax, little ones, they will all unfreeze shortly. RIght now we are all experiencing a tmime called the frost minute, where anyone who does not have the potential to become persona-wielders are frozen... that is also saying you can each call forth people like me... more shadows approach.
Tyler turned around, "What do I do?"
Valkyrie placed her wings over Tyler's eyes, "see for yourself."
"... darkness. Darkness will kill them... there's also a weak spot right below that blue mask..."

A brilliant blue card appeared in front of Shiloh's awed face. Instinctually, she crushed it in her hand.
"Persephone!"
A solemn, otherworldly young woman appeared, floating in front of Shiloh. She had long blonde hair, wore a flowing grey gown, and cradled a pomegranate in her pale hands. A surge of power marked by white light surged as she focused on an approaching shadow, preparing to utter a single incantation:

Tyler kept Valkyrie's wings around him ,"Excellent job in killing that shadow... one more is coming. I'll deal with this one."
Valkyrie flashed her feathers, "Let me teach you something. The shadow is right behind you. Move behind it. Don't worry.
Tyler nodded, and stepped around the approaching shadow...witch didn't notice him. Instead, it was staring straight at where Tyler had been standing.
ANd he saw why. There was an exact image of Tyler, before he moved.
"Illousions, huh?... very cool." Tyler said.
The shadow struck at the image, witch dissapeared.
"Where are you looking?" Tyler said, appearing.
THe shadow turned around evidently surprised.
There seemed to be a glow in Tyler's eyes. "Leseo School Forbidden Technique: Ten strike festival!" Tyler said and began to wail on him.
Now that I have manifested, part of my power stays with yu. YOu can hurt the shadows now."
Tyler nodded and procedded in a ten hit combo. Most of the blows were blocked, but the ninth broke through it's guard, and the tenth was a clean deathblow on the lower side- it's determined weakpoint.

However, he heard a scream of "Persephone!" suddenly, and when looking forward again, the same girl that had tried to help him now had summoned forth something similar to the other creature... or persona, as the Valkyrie mentioned.
W-Wait, if that's the case... then I can call you forth too, right?

THe card shone again, and turned into a feather. "Much better. When you need me, think of that feather, and crush it...The frost minute will end in thirty-five seconds.
True to her word, the icicle around them seemed to begin to quickly evaporate into nothing.

AD had meekly followed the people around to see Shiloh summoning her own...Thing. Then the officer seemed to try but seemed to fail.... Perhaps not all of them could summon those things? Or maybe they had their own unique way of summoning them.... To his surprise the giant Icicle started to melt!
"Huh? The ice...Is melting? Woah...Huh?"
"You poor pathetic idiot. You're such an imbecile. I can't believe this human out of off all the others is the one I have to live in! He can't even freaking hear me at all!!
"Am I going crazy..? Who the heck is insulting me so much?"

Adrastos, Highly confused walked a little bit away from the group and started to whisper to himself in order to appease the rather abusive voice in his head.
"Okay....So what are you?"
"Huh? Where you not paying attention? I'm a Persona, at least for now. I'm a mask you can use to help you fight off the shadows and obtain the truth. Those creatures you saw summoned are also Persona's, but they are not nearly as strong as me! I am a Titan after all. "
"Wait....Huh?....Wait, I have a Titan from Greek Mythology inside me?! Cool!"
"Yep, You're very lucky to have me inside you. Of course you can't use me unless you can face yourself... Opps! Time's up for me! Since the frost is going away you probably won't be able to hear me until the frost appears again, you being so hard of hearing and all.
