Yet another RP Idea by me comes up!

Tyrian is one of my all-time favorite old-school games. It's a top-down space shooter, and will remain on my Top Games list for a long time to come. I still love to play it over and over again... Look it up if you've never heard of it before!

If you feel that you are joining too many, there's no need to join more than you feel you want to. This was going to be presented before Fire Emblem RP, but the responses I got from everyone prompted me to show the Fire Emblem one first.

Irf any of you have played Tyrian or Descent, these RPs are no different. (The Descent one will be posted at a later date; I feel that I have too many up right now.)

It goes like this. Someone creates a ship, and designates how many people can fly it (one to four people). With a full four person ship, one person's the pilot, one's the main gunner, one's the left Sidekick gunner, and the last person is the right Sidekick gunner. With three people, The pilot is also the main gunner. With two people, it's Pilot/Main Gunner and Left/Right Sidekick Gunner. And with one, of course, you take control of everything (Generally smaller and faster ships.)

This is strictly a space war RP. There will be no ground fights. And I doubt there will be anything but action in this RP. Therefore, don't expect any romance or drama or any of that in here. If you want that, go to my End of the World RP. There's plenty of room. ;D

Here's the list of weapons, shields and armors that your ship can start with: (Others will be obtainable as we go through the RP)

Main weapons:
Pulse Cannon (Like a slow minigun, number of shots fired at a time increases as you upgrade)
Multi Cannon (Like a slow minigun but the firing is spread out)
Proton (Fires spheres that get bigger as you upgrade it)
Vulcan Cannon (Minigun-like weapon; gets faster as you upgrade it)
Mega Pulse (A fire blast. Gets bigger as you upgrade. Turns into four shots as you upgrade.)

Side Weapons
Proton (Fires spheres that get bigger as you upgrade it)
Sonic Wave (Fires green slicer-shaped waves. Gets bigger as you upgrade)
Wild Ball (Spheres that eject from your ship, going in a U-motion at your enemies. Can cause splash damage, but is unreliable. Increases in numbers as you upgrade. Arguably the most fun Side Weapon)

Shields:
Microsol A-Class (Only one you can use)

Generators:
Advanced Integrated Generator (Only one you can use for now)

Sidekick weapons (The ones who control the sidekick gets to choose what they want. Also, these never upgrade.):
Mini-Missile (VERY rapid, however it causes little damage per shot)
Atom Bombs (Only eight per Sidekick; can be recharged. Cause rebound damage; it splits into four bombs as it hits something, enemy or object.)
Post-It Mines (Shoots forward X-shaped mines.. I forgot the real name for this weapon, I'll need to go back and find it. Causes major damage when used in groups.

I'm going to go ahead and make my ship. It'll be three person.

Riders: 3 (Pilot/MainGunner, Left Sidekick Gunner, Right Sidekick Gunner)
Piloted by: Xero
Main Guns controlled by: Xero
Left Sidekick controlled by: Jenna
Right Sidekick controlled by: Miley
Starting weapons: Pulse Cannon, Sonic Wave, Microsol Class-A Shield, Advanced Integrated Generator.
Left Sidekick Weapon: Post-it Mines
Right Sidekick Weapon: Mini-Missiles

And for my character:

Name: Xero
Age: 25
Profession: Pro-Pilot. Very adept with guns, both ground and air.
Bio: Xero has been working with the Tyrian-model ships for a long time. He now holds the final Galaxy model in existance; the T-12. It can easily be modified for better shields/generators. Xero hopes that two people will recruit themselves onto his ship and help him fight the threat that's coming to the galaxy... and every planet on it.


ALRIGHT. Your choices are to either join a ship that's already been created, or make your own. If you join as a Sidekick you get to choose what Sidekick weapon to use. So, have at it!

Also, if you haven't played Tyrian, PM me and I'll give you a quick crash course on it. If you're just going to cause trouble, DON'T SIGN UP!!

No problem; could you post a bio for your character though? (You can wait until you have time if necessary) All I need is Name, Age, and a quick bio. Personality would be a nice bonus too XD

Character: Jenna (keepin' it simple XD)
Age: 20
Profession: Gunner, accurate and effective. air or ground, doesn't matter
Bio: Jenna's fairly experienced when it comes to Tyrian ship weaponry, having worked on several ships as a gunner. Generally very laid-back and sarcastic, with a cynical outlook on life, she's often seen as the slacker on board. She's also prone to overexaggerating her exploits, but is dead serious when it comes to her skill. She prefers to show her worth to the team through her guns.

As for a bio thing,
Character: Miley. ((Wow soo original))
Age: 16
Profession: Gunner, Not the most accurate person, but can form really complex plans.
Bio: Miley's never really done any fighting, unless you count trying to kick her brother when she gets mad at him. Very very argumentative, she probably would fight about if she was in a fight. She also succumbs to multi-personality disorder, and becomes extremely peppy at times, sacrificing her complex thinking for accuracy.
((I've never played the game, will that be a problem?))

Also, it's not a huge problem if you've never played and you're a Sidekick, because the Pilot/Main Gunner people are the most important roles (all ships), as the Pilots get all the transmissions and the main gunners can detect enemies/bosses/data cubes (news, transmissions, etc.)
