"OK,I guess that would help." Crystal said, "Mike,can you help me out here" she asked him.

Mike, one by one removed the bricks. "Ok, that's perfect," Crystal said. As Mike put them aside, he accidently dropped one on his foot. Crystal shot up right away, "No......you've got to investigate, Crystal! I'll be fine!" Mike tried to hold the tears as he smiled weakly.

Crystal sighed and looked in the now bigger hole. 'Ah..... there's the bastard that bit me...' she thought looking at a rat in the corner. But what really caught her attention was the slip of paper to the side covered in blood.

Lana continued to stare, eyebrow cocked at Gumshoe in the corner, talking to himself, seemingly dancing....anyway, she responded, "No. I don't care very much about this case." She glanced over at Aser, then back at Gumshoe, who was losing his balance. "I assume you only asked that because you yourself desire it, am I correct?"

"In a way. I scanned the report, and though I may have seen my name on it. Not that I bothered to check it properly." said Aser, returning his lighter to his pocket. He leaned ((Not too sure about the grammar here...)) against the wall, and started tapping the wall in a beat. "Of course, if nobdy has been assigned, it might fall upon my hands to prosecute this, yes?"

"... I really should stop getting blackmail cases. Anyway, the note means (although you've probably worked it out, Miss Starr, spare Gumshoe a thought.) that either our killer was being blackmailed. It's the killer because it's probably a revenge killing for taking the unfound necklace."
