The excitement Pandan felt over the family party was overwhelming. She ran over to her father.
'Dad, will there be many people at the party? I really hope so. And I really want to play charades later, ok? Promise you'll do it with me?'
She thought for a moment then said;
'Though the "slap Aviv" thing sounds tempting...'
There was a faint knocking sound coming from inside and happy as she was, she quickly skipped to answer the door.
And who stood waiting on the other side if not her brother?
'Gustice! Come here bro! Give your sister a hug!'
Before her brother had time to do anything she took him in her arms and gave him a sisterly kiss on the cheek, laughing happily.

'What? you're expecting to get paid for us having fun? Come on, if anyone should pay, it's you.' She teased.
'After all, I'm here, people pays well to get slapped by me.' She gave him a quick smile and was just about to return to her fathers side again when someone cought her.
It was Clarounette!
'Sis!' She said, a bit startled over her older sisters sudden appearance. 'I've missed you!'
She greeted her sister with a warm hug.
'Hey, where's your company?'

She sighed, then turned toward her brother. "GG, as much as I love you, if you do the same to TPK, I'll kill you" She smiled and kissed him.
And then she saw Aviv, still angry. "Relax Aviv, we won't play Slap Aviv for a while. And I'll pay you... nothing!"
She looked a bit at the house. She lived here for so many years. And she had so many memories... Seeing her father in the garden, she was moved... Well, it wasn't time for that!

She stoped, threw a quick glance at Aviv again and smiled.

Pandan ran over to greet her mom but suddenly stopped when Delsy stepped out of her room and tripped on the cheap carpet she had got for her on a flea market some time ago.
Pandan looked around at her clumsy family, and burst out into laughter.
She leaned down to help her beloved mother back to her feet and embraced her in a soft hug.
'You ok?' She asked with a smile. 'Me? I'm just fine.'
The day had barely started and was already full of events. But little did they know what was yet to come...
As if the hall wasn't small enough already, soon, there stood a new group of people.
Her sister-in-law and all the kids stepped inside the tiny space they called home and looked with a slightly amused expression on the people inside.
'Hey! You made it!' Pandan greeted them, still at her mothers side.
