((So, Basically, what I'm doing is making an RP in the style of Skye's House, in that it spans more than one board. It'll be the same as any RP and... ah... No plot so far. That's defiantly something Skye's got on this. Ah, we'll play it by ear. Good luck!))
((EDIT: Got a plot now! No one knows much about Hank's past, and for all you know he may be a criminal! ...Come on, SOME ONE has to be curious. If you have at all followed the AA series, you know that someone ALWAYS gets curious.))

Name: Hank Roam Nova (Disregard the Roam, he never uses it.)
Age: 23
Occupation: Prosecutor
Appearance: He has hair very similar to Noah's (my other OC), brown right part, but with a rat tail. He wears reading glasses most of the time and a suit. ...Well, he doesn't wear a jacket. And he always wears a novelty tie. His blue shirt is also very similar to Noah's.
Personality: Generally laid back, but gets serious if need be. Need be to him is when he's really doing bad in a case, ect. Come to think of it, that's a lot like Noah. Hm...

The room on the second floor where Noah used to be was empty. He had left for a new job in Memphis about 3 weeks ago. On the nearly empty third floor, however, a new transfer from Maine named Hank was setting up his office. As he put up the last touch, a framed poster for Mortal Weapon II, he put a sticky note over a small crack on the glass, the one imperfection he never wanted anyone to know about. Hank put some masking tape on the ground beside his desk in a square, and wrote on it in sharpie: 'MINI FRIDGE GOES HERE'. As he replaced the cap, he sat down in his desk... and waited for anything, really. A case? Perhaps a visitor or a call for a meeting? Whatever it was, he just waited.

((Got an idea...))

Name: Andrew Edgeworth.
Age: 18.
Appearance: Wears a suit like his father, and pretty much looks like Edgeworth, mostly because he styles himself after him.
Personality: Reclusive and professional with work matters, but socially inept.

Andrew hefted his case information to the important his new "partner" Hank Nova was staying in. Sure, he was young, but a partner?! Come on. Whether it was that they thought Hank needed help from him, or that they thought after all those cases Andrew had won that he STILL was inexperienced. Either way, he detested the idea.

Andrew approached the door and knocked, a frown creeping on his face. He tried to keep a normal face, despite his anger and frustration.

((...I like playing by nose...er....ear better!))

Name: Athena Cross
Age: 23
Occupation: Defense Attorney
Appearance: She is a woman of average stature, around 5' 4", with long blue hair that hangs to her waiste. Her left bangs are combed and held back with a clip. Her right bangs hang loose shoulder length. Her eyes are a steel dark grey, and she wears a pair of crescent rimmed glasses. Her attire usually consists of a dark green silk shirt over a white t-shirt, with green silk pants to match. She completes the look with a pair of dark blue high heels.
Personallity: Stubborn at times, sarcastic at others. Athena tends to get quite aggressive when she feels threaten or embarrassed. However, she has a will to fight, and would continue a case to the bitter end.

"Aw, finally, something's happening!" Hank jumped over his desk and opened the door with a flourish. "Hello- Oh, you're the guy from the interview! Niles, was it?" He asked, confusing him with Edgeworth. Huh. Noah used to do that kind of stuff too... Well, anyway, he looked him up and down and remarked, "Hey, wait, you're not him. Sorry, I just saw the ah... shirt napkin there." He pointed to his cravat.

((Go ahead and jump in any time, Ben.))

It was quite odd for her, being a defense attorney in a building filled with prosecutors. It felt like she was a lamb lost within the lions den. She really wish she didn't let Ben go to that stupid reality TV show they were having nearly three states away. At least he would be more comportable asking for the files of a certain case.

She wasn't quite that worried though, since she was going to see Mr. Noah Von Karma. She met him only a few times, mostly through Ben. They never actually faces each other in court. But she felt that Noah was an all around nice person. It should be hard for her to ask for a copy of a certain case.

She stopped in front of the door. This should be the right room. She rapped her knuckles upon the wood, awaiting an answer from the other side.

On the second floor, someone opened the door... And Winston Payne looked out, with an exuberant expression on his face. "Why, Miss Cross! So good to see you! May I help you? OOF!" A wheel of a swivel chair had hit his shin. "Oh, um, pardon the mess, I just got moved to Von Karma's old corner office! Good riddance, I say. He always piled me on with a bunch of work somehow. The jerk."

"Oh, Mr. Payne!" Athena exclaimed. She tried not to smirk when Winston hit his shin. "Um, yes. I was wondering if you had a copy of...." it didn't dawn on her was Payne just said until that moment. "...wait. Mr. Von Karma's gone?" This was news to her. She wondered what had happen to him. Did Ben know? "W-What happen to him, Mr. Payne?"

"Oh, unfortunately, nothing terrible. He just got a job at a big law firm in Tennessee." Payne looked back and fourth. "But... If you ask me, I don't think that new guy will be any better. He has that kind of... Von Karma vibe about him. So, ah... My divorce suit is clearing up-" Payne hit his hand on the door as he moved in. "OOOOOW! MY HAND! Owy owy owy owy...." He ran back in his office like a scared puppy.

Well that's a relief, Athena thought. I guess Noah's doing alright for himself. She allowed herself to smirk, since Payne had retreated into his lair. "So, I guess this knew guy might have the source I'm looking for....But where is his office, I wonder?" Athena now wished that Ben was hear even more. She would have to roam the building, asking for the 'new guy'. What a pain. She grimaced when she realised she just made a pun.

"Good lord, I need to get out of here," she groan. Best to starts searching, starting on the third floor.

((I've never RPed here in Court Forums before, so I'm making up an OOC on the spot by using my screenname. Original, right? :yogi: lol))

Name: Caelestis Atra ((if you want to shorten it, I don't care. I've seen Cae or Cael; whatever floats your boat))
Age: 22
Occupation: Detective
Appearance: On the shorter side; 5'3. Has brown-black hair that's usually in a bun, but is dead straight hair whenever she lets it down. However, she has a piece of silver hair near the front of her face that is in a tiny, small braid; she doesn't put this up with her bun. Her eyes are a penetrating green color that's the color of spring leaves. She usually wears a dark forest green suit jacket with a light lavender shirt inside and dark black slacks. She wears matching green flats, but sometimes tries to wear high-heeled shoes to make her taller. These are her business clothes.
Personality: She's quite persistent in her work and has a sharp eye for details. Unfortunately, this can get to the better of her as sometimes she's inclined to point out somethings about someone without the intention of sounding rude (i.e. "Mr. Smith, next time you come to work, you probably don't want to go through the back way with all the mud. I know you're worried about being late, but please..." and this was inferred because Mr. Smith had mud on his shoes). She's overall quite complaisent and always tries to impress people; she's one of those "make everyone happy" types. But is quite awkward around people and is usually very paticular about certain things (her workplace is meticulously neat). She feels overally humilated whenever she embarrasses herself, like when she inevitably trips with her high-heeled shoes. She finds it hard to make small chat, but she's tried. Caelestis also likes her job, but she seems to be on some sort of mission...

Caelestis began running with her stack of papers. She just aquired important evidence for some new prosecutor—she didn't even know that he would begin so soon. Was he even aware of this!? Maybe she read the name on top wrong again...
I better not have!
She hated making a fool of herself; she didn't want to look like an idiot in front of people ever again. Especially after that one time...
No, I promised I would never resurface those memories again! Caelestis thought grudgingly. Why did that stupid case always have to be brought up at the worst possible moments? PR-3... why must you plague my every step!?

Caelestis wasn't sure why she decided to wear high-heels again. Perhaps in her moment of stress in the morning (her alarm didn't work again), she somehow thought she should try to impress this new prosecutor by wearing heels. Caelestis hated being so short; it helped in the investigating world, but not her social life. Not one bit.

As she began running, praying she wouldn't trip, she thought she saw someone familiar; someone she perhaps had seen a picture of. Before she could think clearly, however, she suddenly inevitably tripped. Giving a yelp on the way down, she dropped all of her papers, the leaflets scattering around her. Caelestis began to blush furiously as she quickly swept each paper. However, she paid more attention to the name on the top.

Hank Roam Nova... why does that sound so familiar...?

((I think you did just fine for something on the spot.))

Athena had gone door to door, asking everone she stopped about the new guy. Most of them brushed her off, saying they know nothing about it. But one knew that his name was Mr. Nova. "Nova...what kind of last name is Nova?" she thought to herself. But then again, her own last name was just as weard. Cross.

Her attention suddenly changed to a young lady running down the hall, her arms filled with stacks of paper. She passed by Athena, then a few feet away, tripped over with a yelp. This was quite unexpected, Athena thought, and went over to help the day with her papers. "Are you alright, miss?" she asked, gathering what papers has scattered on the ground.

Age:27
Occupation:Detective
Appearance: Image
Personality:He is pretty concieded, but good in most everything he does. He is not a very mysterious person, and sometimes he may be a suck up.

Wayne approached the girl who had fallen and was shaking his head. "Caelestis, as clutzy as ever I see" He turned to a lady helping Caelestis. "Aren't you.....a defense attorney? What are you doing here?" He looked at her with a confused and somewhat angry expression.

Caelestis scowled at the man before her as she began to gather up papers. She never liked Wayne that much; he felt that since he had been part of the force longer than her, that gave him an excuse to boss her around.
"I'll have you know, Wayne, that I'm not always this clumsy. It's just these darn shoes..." Caelestis exasperated, mumbling to herself. She especially didn't like admitting to Wayne that she was short and had to resort to high-heels; his imposing height often made her gulp.

"Thank you, Ms...?" Caelestis began, thanking the woman who was helping her. Did Wayne say 'defense attorney'? Caelestis began to think about who she looked like. "You wouldn't happen to be Ms. Cross, would you?" Caelestis continued, remembering now. "I've seen your cases; you do a rather good job, if I may say so myself." Caelestis would never pass up an opportunity to honey someone; luckily, what she said was indeed true.

Hank looked past his shirt-napkined guest at the flustered group behind him picking up leaflets and went over to help. "You guys need a hand?" he asked, and started to help pick up the papers. He looked at one of them as he was picking it up. "Hey, is this a case? Who was this going to?" he asked. There were two girls and a guy, and the guy looked like either a criminal or a guy who washed his face with an angry cat, but he wasn't wearing an orange jumpsuit so he assumed it was just an employee with an injury.

The first girl had a really nice looking shirt. I mean, this thing looked REALLY nice. It had some of the best silk he'd seen ever. He could tell from the lack of frayed strings and from having seen quite a few silk shirts in his time. She also had a defense badge, so that got him kinda confused. The second girl, the one who dropped the stuff, had a silver strand of hair, and for a moment, he went back to the time he was waiting in line for tickets to a movie behind a line that was going to see X-Men, and the lady in front of him had a really realistic Rouge costume.

Andrew rolled his eyes. "My name is Andrew Edgeworth. And it's a cravat," he corrected as the new arrivals surged in. Just what I need. More people to screw up my crappy day. He smiled politely although he was utterly burning with frustration and said, "I'm sorry for not helping you, miss. I'm kind of... Messed up today."

Hank looked at Andrew like he was crazy. "Right, sure, Cravat. I've heard of those. People in the 18th century wore them." Said the guy with a rat tail and a Piano Key tie. Hank turned his attention back to Cae. "Was there any particular order these were in or can I just throw them together?"

((Sorry! Got suddenly so swamped! I'll be more careful next time))

Cae looked at all the new people around her. A younger looking man wearing a cravat had just apologized to her for not helping. Fine... he's awfully pretentious, she thought, slightly disgustedly.
"Don't worry about it, Mr. Edgeworth," Caelestis slided off the question. Part of her was annoyed that the man didn't regard to her by name. But then again, what prosecutor actually did remember her by name? She'd seen this guy around before and helped him out with one case; he seemed almost something like a prodigy at his work. Just like Miles Edgeworth... Cae swept the familiar, yet mentally disgusting name aside from her mind.

Caelestis turned her attention to the new man in front of her. Is this guy... Hank Nova!?
"Uh, um... Yes, sir, that's a new case! You... didn't hear about it...?" Cae fumbled through her words, chiding herself for stammering so much.
"Oh, any order is fine, sir," Caelestis smoothed out her outfit. Shoes, don't you dare collapse on me! "Hello, my name is Caelestis Atra. I'm going to be your detective to help you out with this first case!" she attempted to say brightly, putting her hand out for a shake. Mentally, her mind was swimming with concerns and thoughts.

Why the heck does this guy look so familiar...!?

"Yeah, hi, Hank." He shook her hand. "Nice to meet you. ...Case? I dunno. My laptop's on the fritz, I never got the email." He picked up all the papers and looked at them. "Homicide? You don't take long to get a guy acquainted, do ya?"

Caelestis shook the new prosecutor's hand.
"Well, it sounds like all the other prosecutors are dealing with other cases, so... you were kind of our only option," Caelestis admitted. "B-but don't worry! I'm sure Mr. Edgeworth here will be able to help you out; he's actually quite experienced, despite his young age..." Cae clamped her hand over her mouth. "I-I mean, no offense, of course, Mr. Edgeworth..." she regained her composure.

She helped gather the remaining papers and placed them into Hank's hands. "Yes, here are the case details. Would you like me to summarize them for you or...?" Cae hesitated.

Edit: ((Hey, I made a very quick sprite of Caelestis Atra. I know, she doesn't have the braid, but I couldn't make it work))

Athena took in the way the new guy acted. Payne was right about him. He did have that...Noah like feel about him. Wonder if he enjoys coffee as much as Noah did. She glanced over at the scarred face gentleman, not quite enjoying this man's attitude. She brushed him from her thoughts and turned back toward the detective, handing her the papers she picked up. "There you go, Ms. Atra, was it? Anyway, I was wanting to have a moment to speak with Mr. Hank Nova, if you have the time," she added, glancing at the prosecutor. "It's concerning a case file that Mr. Noah Von Karma had worked on, and I believe his files were passed over to you, Mr. Nova."

She pulled back a strand of her blue hair. "I would like to have a copy of TG-26 incident, dated back about a year ago. The case I'm working on could be related to said case, and should help out in solving it."

Andrew had to laugh. "Don't worry about it, really. I am only 18, after all." He was used to it by now. At least he could take comfort in knowing that she didn't underestimate him for it. "And by the way, you don't have to be so uptight. I'm not going to dock your pay for saying the truth, I'm not as wound up as my father."

Hank looked at the papers. "...Von Karma, huh? Aren't they those perfectionist types? If they are, then it should be in here, I just took his file cabinet and haven't had a chance to clean it out. Gimme a half a sec." Hank walked into his office and opened the T-V drawer in the first set of cabinets. "...OK, someone explain this to me, why is there just... bags of Coffee beans in here? Is this some kind of hazing? Replace the new guy's files with coffee?" He sifted through the bags. "I don't see any files. What the crap's the deal?"

Cae mentally sighed. She'd only worked with Andrew for a little bit and knew that he wasn't like his father that much, but she was relieved anyways. She never liked offending anyone; especially since she could almost relate to Andrew's situation...

"Oh, um," Cae responded to Hank's outburst. She knew she'd have to explain to him about Noah; Caelestis had worked with him on a number of cases. He mostly kept to himself; only asked her for help when he needed it. But she still somehow felt responsible for his things. "Mr. von Karma enjoyed coffee... a lot. Erm, you may have found his stash of coffee beans. Hold on a sec," Cae stumbled through her words. She looked into the bottom drawer, hoping Mr. von Karma hadn't taken the files with him when he left. She remembered his words before he left the office for good.

"Caelestis, tell the new guy who comes here that I have provided him my steady supply of coffee beans. I hope he likes coffee!"
"Noa–Mr. von Karma, I doubt anyone likes coffee as much as you do."

Still, Cae wasn't surprised to see the huge supply of coffee.
"Let me keep looking," Cae said aloud.
