David was sitting on the comfortable leather sofa, flicking through the case file. He was just giving the case the once over again, and had neglected his coffee for at least an hour. Of course, he hadn't remembered this when he went to take a swig out of it. He resisted the urge to spew the stone cold coffee out all over the expensive looking coffee table, and let it dribble back into the mug. He took a quick glance at his watch and jumped.

Shit. I was meant to be at the Prosecutor's office an hour ago. He gathered the documents back into the file, grabbed his coat and sped off to the PO in his car.

Kenny looked at the other dog and jumped out of Ema's arms and gave a look that simply said, "How dare yee intrude upon my home." as the shackles rose on his neck.

Ema thought it was kind of funny how Kenny chose to pick a fight with another dog that looked exactly like an older version of himself. "Kenny be nice.....who's dog is that by the way?" Ema said as she walked out of the room and noticed no one was there.

Monika headed into the living room, hearing the racket of someone discovering her dog. She saw Ema and smiled. "Hi, you're Ema, right?" She glanced at Phoenix, who was wagging his tail excitedly. "This is my dog, Phoenix. It looks like you've met."

"Er, yes," said Monika. "He's going on seven now." She glanced at Kit, who seemed to be afraid of Phoenix, before continuing. "And I was hoping you could help me with my case, Ema." She pulled a plastic bag from her pocket, which contained a piece of leather. "Could you do a fingerprint analysis? I would do this at the precinct, but then I'd have to submit this as evidence... And I'm not sure if this is evidence or not yet."

Ema went about setting up a table, light, and multiple powders. "Can you please hand me the bag with the leather in it?" Ema said as she put a pair of purple gloves on and twirled around on her chair.

Monika nodded and handed Ema the bag. Then she looked oer the profiles of the people involved in the case. "Here, the samples to match that one against." Monika was really nervous about the result. This could make or break my case, she thought, or it could be nothing.

Ema put some of the powders on the leather then spread it around and comared what she had found to the papers. "Well this persons fingerprints are on here." Ema said while pointing to the picture on the very left. "But there is one more unidentified finger print right here." Ema said while pointing at a fingerprint on the very very edge of the leather, it was just barely noticable.

Monika looked at the profile. "I knew it. They're the defendant's. Thanks Ema, this could really hamper the defense's case." She examined the fingerprint on the edge. "Though that print could be a vital clue too." She thought for a moment before saying, "Maybe they were the victim's?" Another pause. "Well, I don't have any more samples. But this needs to be submitted as evidence anyway; they'll scan it at the precinct. Thanks again, Ema."

Robert Ashes was walking down the sidewalk next to the skye's house to visit a old friend,and on his sholders a little girl who was looking around with big eyes wondering what could happen next. He finally reached the house and started walking up the driveway "This place always seems to change...maybe she hired a painter"

Kate still hid but said "Thanks" when he wished her a happy almost birthday. Ashes got Kate back on his sholders and went inside the house along with Tyrey and closed the door and just stood near the door glancing around the house,not sure what to do next as he didn't want to be rude.

He walked by the door, grabbed his coat, and walked across the street to a blue car. He put his hand on the lock, closed his eyes, and heard a click. He opened the door, and gestured for Monika to come along. He stuck his head out the window, and yelled, "YOU CAN COME TOO, ROB!"
