As Ms. von Karma and Mr. Edgeworth debated over the transmitter, Ema debated on where to go. She soon decided to run into the cavern and find Mr. Wright. Logical thinking was not her forte. As she passed Gumshoe, she called, "We have to find Mr. Wright! And whoever else is in danger!"

Phoenix was momentarily stun by the shout of "Objection!" which allowed Franziska to pull his whip free from his hand. Dammit! Why am I having such a lousy day with this thing! he thought, his attention now on the woman before her. How in the world did she get here? Or to the point, who is she?

Before he could think on the matter though, a tremor bellowed through the cavern. Phoenix froze, feeting the earth rumbled beneath his feet. "Um....I hate to break this to everyone, but I think that dettonation Miss Perfect over here has caused some sort of cave in. So...I think it would be in all of our best interest if we do as the lady says. Stop fighting..." he sprinted foward, grabbing his whip back from Franziska and Mia by the wrist. "...and START RUNNING LIKE HELL!!"

"As a matter of fact, we excel at hitting the voice of reason." Edgeworth said, as if reading Laela's mind. "Now, what do you OH NO YOU DON'T!" Edgeworth said. He ran after Phoenix, ignoring the rumbling. He leapt, intending to bring Phoenix down, instead ending up in some sort of insane piggy back. Edgeworth continued to lean back until he and Phoenix collapsed. "Franziska, run!" He yelled, before attempting to get up and run himself, instead falling again and landing in a heap.
((That was fun. The fall was based on a rather painful badminton accident I had...all it needed was for Edgeworth to shout "PIGGY BACK WIDE!", but I thought that was slightly immature.))

Laela decided the children had to come first. She lifted Edgeworth off Phoenix and help Phoenix up. "Everyone needs to get out of here!" Laela yelled, waiting for the others to pass her. "Now is not the time to be toppling others over. Our lives are all in danger!"

As Ema sped through the cave, the ground began to shake. "Gumshoe..." she said, angry at the man for being such a doofus. Still, she ran, determined to find the group again. She soon heard footsteps, a man falling, and a woman yelling, 'Everyone needs to get out of here!'

She slowed, and with the addendum of, "Our lives are all in danger!" (and something about toppling), she stopped completely, confused. Mr. Wright came into view, and from the look on his face, Ema knew she should run. Besides, she decided, if she turns and runs right now, she'll catch up to Mr. Wright's speed just before they would collide. Quickly, she hopped, shook her feet, and started running.

As the cave begun to shake Gumshoe started to worry about Edgeworth and von Karma. That's when he noticed Ema ran down the tunnel, "Hey wait! That isn't the way out!" Gumshoe ran after Ema. He heard faint voices and then sound of of feet hitting the cave floor. The tremors started to get worse.

Only now did Edgeworth notice the tremors. He had been so fueled up he hadn't noticed the earthquake-like situation. He slipped off Laela's shoulders...

Maya ran after Ema, yelling "My sister's in here somewhere!!" She shoved past Gumshoe. The tremors worsened, but the young medium was actually quite fast and caught up with Ema quickly. "MIAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA" She shouted.
Then she realized something, she was running the wrong way now, compared to everybody else. "Wait, where are we going?" She ran along with Ema.

Laela picked Edgeworth back up. The buy obviously wouldn't run anymore, so Laela started darting down the cave. She didn't know which way would lead her outside, but she kept running straight ahead, hoping she wasn't running to a dead end.

Mia got up struggling not to fall from the tremors, her feet weren't like they used to be. She stumbled alongside Phoenix. "Phoenix!" She yelled over the noise of the tremor. "I have No idea where Pearls is!! My Aunt will literally KILL me if Pearls is harmed. We Can't leave until we know she's safe!"

Noticing Maya running towards her, Ema slowed a bit. She made an arm gesture for Maya to 'come here,' but she paid it no mind. She mumbled something about her sister, but Ema couldn't understand what it was, and didn't know Maya's sister that well anyways. Her next message came loud and clear. "MIAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" she cried. The cave shook. 'Mia?' Ema thought, 'Lana's friend? Lana.' She hadn't wondered about her sister the whole trip. Was she worried? Ema pushed the thought from her mind as Maya showed up.

"Going? I only know where we aren't going! Back there," she pointed backwards, "Where the explosions are!" With that, she picked up the pace a little bit, but not enough to lose Maya.

As Laela assumed, she ran straight into a dead end. Damn my bad luck! I have to keep going...For this boy and my daughter's sake. She quickly went back a little, then ran through the tunnel to the left, feeling the tremors get even more violent.

Gumshoe felt Maya push past and run down the cave, "Hey wait! Not you too!" Maya obviously didn't hear him. He ran down the cave, stones started to fall down around him as he ran, and as he turned a corner he ran into Ema and Maya knocking them back. "Why the heck did you two run off like that?! This place is starting to fall apart!" Gumshoe then heard footsteps echoing down the cave towards them.

Now panting from mild exhaustion, Ema continued her run. She encountered a corner, and near it, a faint light. 'The exit, finally!' she thought, speeding up a bit and beginning to round the corner. At the same time, the tremors grew worse, with stalagtites beginning to crumble to the ground. She was cut off, however, by big ol' Gumshoe. Grunting in pain from falling on her behind, Ema grabbed Gumshoe and pulled herself off.

"We ran off," she started, a little angry at the question, "To save Mr. Wright and Co! And now we're running back because the cave is no longer structurally sound, and happens to be falling apart!" With that, she dodged around Gumshoe. Just as she did, however, a collection of rocks near the exit of the cave came down, creating a large rock wall. After a quick scream, Ema regained composure and moved towards the rocks.

Both Larry and Pearl had just finished climbing back up the cliffside. Panting from exaution, Larry made his way back toward his van. "Man!" He said grinning. "I didn't know you could climb so good, Pearl! At least we are all....Huh?" He glanced over at the van, and saw there was nobody in sight. "Where is everybod....IIIIIIEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!" Larry now say that his side door had been completely melted off. "MY VAN! MY BEAUTIFUL VAN THAT I LOAN FROM DONNA!!! WHAT AM I GONNA TELL HER!!???"

"Don't worry," Phoenix said, panting as he continued running alongside his teacher. "She's safe with Larry." Then again, with Larry, you always have to worry.

Phoenix then realised that the tremors began to grow stronger. This wasn't an ordinary earthquake, he noted. Then, as he glanced around, he noticed how perfectly smooth and round the tunnels were. He glance back for a second...and his eyes widened with fright.

"Uh....guys! I think I found the source of the tremors!" He pointed backwards, as a massive round boulder thundered down the tunnel after them. "We better quicken our pace here!!" he suggested.

Franziska was shaking herself, despite the tremors. Who was this stupid woman, barging in on her perfet plan and ruining everything? She ran after the two and stopped the pair. "You foolishly foolish fool, these tremors aren't an earthquake! And that detonation wouldn't be causing this! I'm not a stupid American like you!" She grabbed Edgeworth's shaking wrist and dragged him back down the corridor. "You foolish fool and your foolishly foolish foolery. You let Mr. Phoenix Wright get away! Just be glad they're still dig-" Franziska's eyes widened as she saw the boulder. She tore down the corridor, towing Edgeworth behind her. "Come on! We've got to get out of here!"

Climbing the rock wall was not a fun or exciting task for Ema Skye. First, it was very difficult to get very far, these rocks were not made for climbing. Second, she had no harness, so once she'd gotten far enough, one false step would mean death. She calculated she'd get there in about 5 minutes. Thirdly, thanks to the wall being right in front of the entrance, there was little light, and thus it was difficult to know exactly where to place hands and especially feet. Fourth, a loud shaking noise was erupting throughout the cavern, echoing through the walls and making concentration a very difficult task.

During the climb, a few feet in the air, a small collection of rocks came down, causing Ema to fall with them. Two beakers from her bag slipped out, contents pouring onto each other. The result was a small pool of green liquid that glowed faintly. This gave Ema an idea. Snatching two wavy containers and lowering her red glasses, she mixed their contents carefully together. Smoke poured, colors appeared and disappeared, the liquid popped and fwooshed, and they became one. The off-silver mixture was one Ema was very proud of, and one she unceremoniously threw to the rocks, causing them to evaporate into vapor and rock dust. "Hydroxyacelunodosetrase!" she said proudly, "Is there anything you can't do?" Grinning ear to ear, she rushed from the cave and into the warmth and safety of the outdoors.

Laela felt Edgeworth suddenly get snatched out of her hands by that German kid. Then, she turned around and saw the boulder. The German girl was already tearing down the corridor. Laela gave chase, but couldn't catch up thanks to her high heels. The boulder was getting closer.

Phoenix continued at a brisk pace down the tunnel, only giving a second glance as Franziska and Edgeworth rushed passed him. It suddenly dawned on him that he didn't see the red headed lady with them. Looking back, he notice with shock that she wasn't catching up with the rest of them, and the boulder was bearing down fast behind her. Without another though, he released Mia's arm, shouting for her to "Keep going!" and turned tale back to help the woman.

Briskly, he clutched her arm, shouting "come on!" and began to pull her with him. The boulder was getting closer now, ready to flatten them into the ground. Without thinking, Phoenix scooped Lida into his arms and went into a full sprint down the tunnel, with the boulder only a few feet behind them.

Laela tried to throw off her high heels, and relized she didn't have enough time. Then, a boy with spiky hair grabbed her arm and pulled her. She felt her legs get weak, and then the boy picked her up into his arms. The boy endangered his life for her, and the boulder was only a few feet behind them. Laela had no lue what to do in the boy's arms, since protesting wouldn't help. In fact, the boulder would just catch them sooner that way, but he decided to move a little so Phoenix wasn't just carrying dead weight.
