"So, you headed anywhere? Need a ride?" He said.

"Nah, it's okay," Mike said. Then, rain started to pour down. "On second thought, yes. Could you drop me off at the corner of Q-Street?" He wasn't going to be so stupid as to let the guy take him all the way home.

On second thoughts, nah...I like this guy. What about the bloody woman's friend, Mar-whatsit...
"Sure. I'm headed that way." Mark climbed into his car and started the engine as Mike got in. He began to drive, exchanging in small talk with him, nothing serious.
He dropped Mike off. After a hasty goodbye, he set off for his second destination.

He pulled up and checked the equipment he had.

Then he sat back and waited.

Mike stepped outside at the corner and watched as the man drove away. He had a bad feeling in the pit of his stomach, like something horrible was going to happen. Mike of course wouldn't ignore that feeling, but he had no clue where the feeling was coming from or how to stop whatever was going to happen. He ran back home so as not to ruin his suit and pulled out his costume. Was he going to have to run around wearing that thing again? Vigilante justice was starting to get old. He wished he had his job back.

Mariah finally found Marietta.
"So, Marietta," Mariah said. "There was someone who told me you are a killer. The Guilty Eater? I don't want to believe them, so...I mean, I don't want to arrest you unless I have solid proof. You are an excellent prosecutor." She was nervous.
