Insho was ecstatic with the end of his first duel. The loss was spectacular, and was fitting for his first round. However, the defeat left him with the renewed itch... the desire for victory.
He had been walking around the piers, watching the clouds come in from the sea. Storms were coming, but it seemed a ways off.
"A premonition, mayhaps?" He pondered. "T'would make things more interesting. Lets hope so."

"GO! GO! GO, RAIN!! Bring something awesome!" He shouted to the sky, without a second though,loud enough to grab the attention of anybody nearby...

He could hear that person yelling. Walking in his direction, he threw a rock at him. If that worked, he pointed at his duel disk. This was his challenge. He wanted to see how fast he could land his OTK this time around, hopefully with this one.. he'd land it fast.

A rock hit the back of his head, spot-on.
He paused for a few moments before grabbing at his new bruise and starting a string of explicitives that could peel the paint off of a bunker.

It took Insho a moment to remember where he was. Day before the tourney. He was a duelist. There was somebody pointing at his own duel disk. Waitaminute...

"Ach... sorry about that verbal abuse." Insho said, regaining his usual care-free composure, but still grabbing his aching skull. "I take it you wanna duel...?"

"Let's rock." Activating the duel disk, he looked at his opponent with no expression. A challenge was all he needed and this one had better provide. So far, no duelist has managed to stop him from victory. He always prepped his deck for immediate tuning. That he was. A deck tuner, and with an experimental OTK deck, he was ready.

"Rock... of course. Puns." Insho thought.

"Okay, but for that rock to the head, I'm gonna have to punish you." And with that, he removed his deck from his duel disk and pocketed it, only to pull a case out of his other pocket. He opened it to reveal a second deck, and loaded it into his duel disk.

Insho was knocked down by the end of the duel. Justice had used cards Insho was sorely unfamiliar with, and was completely blown away by them.

Insho looked at his secondary deck. "Sigh... this just isn't what it should've been..."
During the duel, Justice had said very little, but made a few comments on deck speed, something Hyper-Speed Recycle now sorely lacked in comparison to the deck Insho had just faced.

"That was a good duel" He said to Justice. "I could tell you weren't too pleased with my deck-swap. Maybe we can try again some time soon..."
"Unfortunately, I can't go back until I work the kinks out of this one." He thought.

Insho turned and walked away without even waiting for a reply. "I'll see you at this exact same spot come the start of the tournament. I aim to prove you beatable." He shouted over his shoulder. "Tell the clouds I said thanks, by the way."

"..." All he did was smile and give him the thumbs up until he said:
"I expect much from each opponent no matter how fast the kill. Don't disappoint."
Putting his deck back in its box, he walked away, and bought a soda, drinking it as soon as he found a seat that was dry.

Allan continued his walk back up to the center of town. He looked at the clock face as he walked through the crowd, looking at people's arms for Duel Disks. Then, he saw one hanging from the arm of a man. He hurried over. "Hello, my name is Allan and I wish to request a duel with you if that is okay? Would you mind telling me your name, by the way?"

Ryan walked through the city. He looked at his map. "Maybe there'll be duelists down by the clock..." he said. He put the map away and ran to the clock. It wasn't too far away.

Xero smirked. "My name is Xero. And I would be glad to challenge you to a duel. My deck has been longing for someone to duel for a long while now." He set up his duel disk, and put his deck inside. "Are you ready, then? Let's go. Right here, right now."

Allan nodded, returning the deck to the slot on his duel disk. He walked over to Xero and offered his hand for a handshake. "Good duel, my friend." Allan was already looking around for other duelists over Xero's shoulder. He didn't make it obvious, as concentrated on Xero's reaction, mainly.

(( Sorry for the long delay of posting >.< This would be my third or fourth attempt at posting, due too the fact my computer is stupid, and that school is starting back up, and I'm looking for a job >.< But I'll still try and post! =D))

Ryo Bakura(The real one, not Yami Bakura pretending to be him...) Was walking around, with his duel disk equipped of course. He was just enjoying the scenery around him, even though he had been around this area a few times already. Now, even though the tournament was going on, he wasn't really looking for anyone to duel, he was more interested in somebody finding him, unless he was already friends with the person, then he would not mind asking. But for now, he was just enjoying what was going on now, without having a care in the world.

As for Yami Bakura... he was just sitting in there, waiting to do something, but he let Bakura have his own mind for now...

Yugi Moto had just finished a duel(as himself, not Yami Yugi), and of course, he well... won, but he walked over to the other opponent and smiled as he put his hand out to shake."Hey, great duel! I'll be looking forward to our next one!" Yugi said with his usual smile, as he shook the other mans hand." You can count on it Yugi, I'll be looking forward too our next match as well..."The man said calmly. They then stopped shaking hands, and was about to turn away, but then Yugi quickly turned around, and spoke."By the way, what was your name again?"Yugi felt slightly embarrassed about that, be he asked anyway."My name...?"The man paused for a second, now usually he wouldn't tell people, due for his lack of respect for people, but there are some people he'll be nice to, and actually respect, like Yugi. So he told Yugi his name..." Its Sonde... Sonde Hidan."Yugi smiled, as he turned around."Alright Sonde Hidan, you can count on us meeting again, and thats a promise!"and with that, Yugi had run off, and Sonde had been left thinking, wondering what would have happened if he had made the correct moves in that duel... better then what he did... maybe he could have won...? Well, he sat down on a nearby bench, and just decided to lay down for a bit, while Yugi went to go look around for other duelists... or Joey.

Joey Wheeler had also just finished a duel, but he... he lost the duel..."Nyaah! Not again!... Why does this keep happenin' to me!? I seem to be on a losin' streak! And I don't even know why!"Joey Put both of his hands on his head as he was yelling, letting out some steam. As the other guy was a little weirded out and sorta just... ran. "At this rate, I won't be able to win this tournament!..."There was a slight pause, as another familiar voice came up and spoke to him."Now, that doesn't sound like the Joey Wheeler I once knew..."Joey's head perked up, and he seemed slightly surprised at what he saw when he turned around, and it was non other then Maximillion Pegasus! Just then Joey spoke."H-Hey! I know you! A-aren't you that Pegasus guy back from Duelist Kingdom? The guy who stole Yugi's Grandfather's, Mokuba's, and Kaiba's souls?"Joey seemed to be as clueless as ever, saying that and all, but Pegasus just chuckled lightly, and responded."Why it looks like you only remember the bad things about me. But, in all honesty, yes, that was me..."Joey looked slightly confused, and his only response to that was..."Well then, what brings ya to Kaiba's tournament? I thought you retired or somethin'?"Pegasus grinned lightly and responded."Well, things have been pretty boring back where I live, so I figured that I should come out and try out one of Kaiba-Boy's tournaments, after all, whats a tournament without some Toons?"Joey then smiled and nodded."You've got that right!... Wait... huh?"It took a second or two, but then Joey remembered that Pegasus was the only one who used Toons, so this would make the tournament even more entertaining!

"Wait." He looked up. There were two people. "HEY!" he shouted. "I know you two! Joey Wheeler and Maxamilian Pegasus!"

Once Joey was bumped in to, he quickly turned around, and looked at Ryan, who of course Joey did not recognize, and of course, let his short hot headed temper get the best of him."Hey! Watch it!... Hm?" Once he saw it was a duelist, his temper quickly dropped, but Pegasus still responded as if he was still angry."Why, Joey-Boy,(I think he has another name for him, but I can't remember >.<) It still looks like you haven't gotten that temper checked..."Just then Joey turned towards Pegasus, and was about to tell him off, but Pegasus shook his head and chuckled."You already know that isn't going to work, now, I believe we have a fan to attend to."Joey paused for a second, then he smiled, realizing that someone actually knew him! So he quickly went up to Ryan and grabbed his hand and shook it rapidly, with a goofy smile on his face."Yep, thats right! Joey Wheelers the name, and don't where it out! So? What did'ja come here for? To get my autograph, right? I just knew one day somebody would want it!"There was a slight pause, before Pegasus spoke..."I don't believe thats why he's here Joey-Boy, I think he's here to duel one of us..."After those shattering words, Joey drooped down slightly, but then quickly regained his stature, and smiled."Well, if thats the case, then you've come to da right place! But just remember, when I win, there won't be any hard feelings, right?"Joey smiled, and did his funny laugh, and of course he was messing around. But then Pegasus piped in."Well, what happens if he wants to duel me, Joey-Boy?"Joey looked at him, then looked away slightly annoyed."Well, why would anyone want to duel you? I mean after all, all you use is Toons, and there not even that powerful..."Pegasus paused for a second, then he grinned, and turned around to sit on a bench."Well, I suppose your right Joey-Boy, You are the perfect first choice..."Joey smiled, and interrupted Pegasus."As I thought!"Then Pegasus continued."... After all, you are easy to beat, and if I over heard you correctly, you seem to be having a losing streak..." This, of course fired Joey up. He ran towards Pegasus, and grabbed him by the neck of the shirt."Why I outta...!"The Pegasus smiled."But then again... you are the third best duelist in the world... so it could go either way..."This calmed Joey down enough to let Pegasus go, but he was still fired up. So all and all, they were both ready to duel.

Meanwhile, Bakura was walking along, enjoying the scenery like before, but then... somebody ran straight in to him!"Gah!" They both yelled. And when they hit the ground, they rubbed there heads, and Bakura was quick to apologize."Oh, I'm dreadfully sorry! Please do forgive me, I guess I wasn't paying enough attention..."Bakura had a nervous chuckle. He had ran in to a duelist, so he was picking up there cards, along with his own. The other man chuckled lightly, and spoke."Nah, don't worry about it, I actually believe it was my fault, due to the fact I was running..."The man laughed, and Bakura just smiled and responded."Well, that may be true, I still wasn't paying attention... so I guess were both to blame for this."Bakura said with a smile, and the other man nodded."Indeed... hey... I know you... aren't you... Bakura, right?"Bakura seemed a little shocked that somebody knew him, but he smiled non the less and nodded."I do believe you are correct, umm... may I have the have your name?"The man laughed, and nodded."No, you cannot, but you may know it. The names Sonde Hidan, its nice to meet you Bakura."They both stood up, and handed each other there cards. And Bakura nodded back at Sonde's greeting."Its nice to meet you as well Sonde."Bakura said with a smile. Then Sonde nodded, and the two walked off together, talking, and traded a few things, and so on...

Yugi was still running, looking for Joey, or somebody to duel, or just something to do. As Yugi ran, he was smiling, just like usual, being his usual happy-go-lucky self. As he was running though, he ran in to a man... Yugi crashed in to the man, and they fell over. Yugi was quick, to apologize, and so was the other man..."I'm sorry! I guess I just wasn't paying attention to where I was going..." Yugi chuckled nervously, and put his arm behind his head as he scratched it. And the other man, just smiled, and shook his head."Do not worry about it my friend, it was just an accident, correct?"Yugi smiled lightly, but was still laughing nervously, as he agreed."Yeah, I guess so, hehe..."They started picking up each others cards, just like what Sonde and Bakura did, and then they stood up, and handed each other there cards."So uhh.. as I can see, you're a duelist, right?"Yugi said with a slight grin, and Kotama nodded."Ah, you're sharp, aren't you? yes, I am a duelist, not the best, but I will admit, I am pretty good..."He then stuck his hand out to shake, as he smiled."My name, is Kotama Shubin, may you tell me your name?"Yugi smiled, as he shook the other mans hand."Sure. Its Yugi Moto! Nice to meet you Kotama Shubin!" Kotama grinned slyly, and nodded."Indeed it is Mr. Moto... indeed it is..." Yugi continued to smile, as Yami spoke inside of him"Yugi... theres something weird about this man... it feels like he has a dark aura around him..." Yami said cautiously, and Yugi just smiled, and shook his head."Its probably just your imagination, Pharaoh, he seems fine with me... "Yugi said with a smile, then Yami just sighed, and responded."Alright, if you say so... but be careful..."Yugi nodded to that."Alright, if you say so..."There was a slight pause, but then Kotama and Yugi continued to talk, amd they walked off talking, trading, and so on...

(HEY! I didn't control Pegasus!)

Ryan looked surprised. "A duel? With me? Against Joey Wheeler!? And Maxamelian Pegasus!? With autographs!? What an honor!" Ryan smiled. "I'm in!" he shouted, readying his duel disk. "And Joey, don't dis the toons. They are the best." Ryan grinned. "And when I'm done with Blondie," Ryan continued. "I'm comin' for you, Maxy-boy." He loved mocking opponents. "Get ready for some major p'ownage!"

Allan had taken to wandering the city, looking for duelists to test his new, re-made deck on. He pulled a second deck, with the bottom card practically representing the deck's theme. Card Destruction.

Fran was wandering around the city aimlessly - she was only dueling a competent duelist, not an amateur. After all, her cousin Seto Kaiba would only let her duel the very best. But the more Fran thought about it, the more she thought her cousin had forced her into competing. Was this just a way to duel her? Fran always refused to duel her cousin, purely out of fear. But had he finally found a way, a way she wouldn't be able to escape? Just then, Fran saw a boy, clearly looking for someone to duel.
"Hey!" he yelled. "Chick in the blue! Duel me?"

The boy is Justice (as in the next post he said he was open, so I edited.), btw. Soz for intruding, but I was searching for a roleplay to join. Here's my character's fact file:

Name: Francesca Kaiba (she changed her surname to Kaiba)
Age; 16
Family: Seto and Mokuba Kaiba (her parents died too, when she was fourteen, and of course by that time Seto had already inherited KC so he offered to have her live at the Kaiba mansion with him and Mokuba, and Fran said yes)
Appearance: Long very very dark brown almost black hair which is always in a ponytail, dark blue eyes, white skin, and always seems to be wearing white jeans and red top, though does wear blue quite a lot as well.
Other info: Hates anything girly. Her deck's theme is Magician/dragon.
Key card: Cyber End Dragon/ Dark Magician Girl.
