"Details, eh? I'm used to details. My... life has been devoted to details. The little things that make certain people tick, or joyous, or depressed. Everyone's mind may sometimes need and crave the same things, but overall, everyone is different," Taliana stood up and began pacing. "Every little detail of their thinking patterns and thought processing and true desires are different for everyone, and in different combinations of such. I studied the little details about people because I could handle it and because I wanted to," she finally sat down again and faced the boy. "I suppose you could say... that I've always been lost in details," she looked at the sky, which was in a wonderful lavender hue. "I thought... that lack of details was my peace, but... I've realized that that doesn't mean I can get away from them." Tali glanced at the boy. "But you'll still refuse to tell me, won't you?" Tali stood up, and began to walk away, glancing backwards every once in awhile.

"You grown ups are so serious all the time, even in relaxing." He spoke out to her. "...when I meant getting lost in the details, I literally meant getting lost. At the rate you are going, you are... just, don't believe the truths they feed to you all the time."
His emerald colored eye glinted has he looked over at her, pulling the cap back over his eye. "You have all the answers, just piece the questions together."

Obviously, she was thinking of 'Truth'.
You have all the answers... just piece the questions together.
Tali sighed through her nose; too late, she was sucked into this thing, and she was going to find out everything about it. Every nauseating detail; even if it meant huddling on the floor in the fetal position for the rest of her life in pain.
For if there was something Taliana believed in so heavily, it was that it was better to find out the truth than to hide from it. Ignorance was not bliss.
"They," she began. "Who's 'they'? And are these 'truths' in fact just a pretty word for the decrepit lie that hides underneath?" she asked, hoping not to sound like such an ice queen. "And... these questions..." she continued. "The cliche would be "Who am I?" and "What can I do?" But these answers are nothing extravagant: I am Taliana Faye, as you realize, and—" Tali stopped herself quite suddenly. The second question wasn't so easy to answer right away. "I suppose the question I want to ask is what these answers that I somehow already know." Tali peered at the boy, hoping he'd answer without so many riddles.
((People, ya'll can make your own storyline! remember, it's a dreamworld. I know this seems to be a focal point, but you can do other stuff too.

"I won't hold your hand the whole way, you know. This is a big favor I'm giving you, so don't blow it now, or else you won't be able to repay it in time." He said, sounding more indignant, and speaking in a manor that sounded silly and grown up for his young voice. "Like I said, stop crunching it all apart and look for the 'Occam's Razor'. Yeesh, shrinks... over-examining it all to the bitter end-- yes, I said you were a doctor; just concentrate."
He got up and stood upon the root he had been laying his head upon before, looking at her square in the eyes.
"Why don't I help you out one last time. You have the pieces, but the real question is one you haven't exactly thought of yet-- of what 'it' was. Figure that out, and the rest'll fall into place" He got back down and resumed his resting position, muttering, almost inaudibly, "You'll have to understand it to catch it..."

But since when was her life ever so simple?
She found herself surprised at the boy's comment about calling her a doctor. "I am certainly no doctor. I was... I think, training to be such, but..." Tali mumbled, almost inaudibly. Her eyes became lost in slight concentration.
Tali's eyes stopped when the boy suddenly moved, speaking again. I suppose asking what 'it' is, isn't allowed, she thought to herself. Closing her eyes, she realized that she'd have to guess, no matter how stupid it sounded. To think she was playing some sort of game with this kid—and she was too afraid of losing his patience with her. Oh well, at least somehow asking this will get it off my chest...
She looked up at him. "Whether this is the question you want or not, what is Truth?" Tali hesitated, looking around this place; she turned to face the boy again. "And along those same lines, what is Reality?"

He then got up, walked around the tree, and returned, only to throw a wash-cloth at Taliana. "Clean it off and you'll see." He smiled broadly.
"I can answer your other question for you: Certainly not this. You are part of a test, or something; I never really understood it, but long story short, you are in my head right now." He hopped back onto the tree's root, and looked at her again with his emerald eyes. "I'm afraid I can't stay here any longer-- we can play again, just not while he's here."
A call could be heard from the path Taliana had followed. It was Riley, shouting her name, worriedly. It sounded oddly too close to have just come into audible range, which made it seem stranger that he sounded so worried, if he had only just started to call for her... assuming that was the case.
"Bye! Cya later!" He called, giving an exaggerated, childish bow while removing his cap and holding it in one hand, like gentleman to a queen.
Removing his cap, to reveal snow white hair. His emerald-green eyes twinkled mischievously, and he ran around side of the tree, disappearing.

She was surprised to see a wash-cloth being flung towards her. She caught it in time, and looked at it closely. Wash this...? Tali folded the cloth and stuck it in her pocket.
His next sentence sent shivers. Taliana found her hand to her head as she began to remember—except his next words immediately stopped the images in her mind. As she saw the snowy white hair and the emerald eyes, she thought she'd stop breathing. W-wait a minute! However, before she could ask, he suddenly disappeared.
She whirled around, hearing Riley's desperate voice. Tali furrowed her eyebrows; he sounded like he'd been calling for a long time, except she'd only just heard his voice, and it sounded so near!
"Riley!?" she called back, running back down the path. As she ran, images of the 'test' appeared into her mind.
Tali couldn't make much sense of it. A dozen people appeared to be walking around a large machine where she was strapped in. A professional-looking man—a professor, perhaps—was trying to make sure she was fine. However, despite these images, she still couldn't make sense of it.
And then there was the problem of the little boy. Who looked way too much like Riley...

Unbeknown to Riley, he passed right by the path to the large tree's clearing, as if it wasn't even there in his eyes.

The black smoke made It's way lazily along the sky, continuing It's hunt. It was completely primal, and yet was driven by a cold and calculating instinct... to feed, and join with others. It existed in all, in some way, shape, or form, and It intended to find a new host and combine with their persona... even if that meant ripping It out of their minds.
((Having another member of this game to post would make It very useful to keep including in my posts...heheheh.))

))Taliana could still hear Riley call out her name; except she couldn't see him yet. "Riley!" she shouted again. She wasn't sure where to run, exactly. His voice seemed farther away as she went farther from the tree. Curious, Tali backtracked to the tree. His voice was clearer this time.
"RILEY!" she screamed. Taliana had no idea why she sounded so desperate; perhaps it was because of the visions she was having of the times before she went to this dreamworld. She felt her stomach wrenching again and she thought she was feeling light-headed. Must... find... Riley...
She trudged past the tree, forward-bound, relentlessly calling out towards Riley again.

The hot, steaming aroma filled the air. The delicious smell of the kitchen and its contents whisked around Joy like a tornado. This is where Joy felt at home, right here. This was her laboratory where she was under control. Just the thought of food made Joy, well, joyful. And what lay out in front of her were the best ingredients for the one thing she would never become tired of. Dough, cheeses of all flavors, tomato sauce, hot peppers, and the usual spices just for fun. Just the thought of it made her mouth water. Pizza. As Joy started to get the oven ready a strange tower appeared in the sky. That's when she realized she wasn't in any kinda of building, it was just the kitchen and everything else was a beige color. The sky, the floor even way out in the distance she could see nothing. wow I sure am imaginative she thought sarcastically. Just as the tower came the world of her dream started to brighten, until Joy couldn't see anything but white. Everything was to abnormally bright, so much that it hurt her eyes. All she could feel was the pain in her eyes and the hardness of the ground she had apparently fallen onto when everything started to turn white. How did something so wonderful turn into something so painfully horrid?

"Talia--" Riley stopped mid call, hearing her voice calling his. It came from behind him, further back upon the path. He quicly hurried, calling, and yet again passed the seemingly invisible branch in the path that led to the large tree.
"I swear I can hear her... Taliana, if you can hear my voice follow it here!" He abruptly sat down in the path, and waited, calling out the message occasionally every few moments.

Taliana was holding onto her stomach in pain. Each step seemed to take extra effort. The visions she was having of reality was starting to consume her and at the same time, Fantasy's force towards egotistical thinking was trying to take over her rational mind. It was as if 'it' was angry that she knew it was fake and was unwilling to fall under its spell.
However, she finally heard it; Riley's message. He of course doesn't know that trying to find him is rather difficult in the condition I'm in... Nevertheless, Tali trudged on, walking towards where she guessed he would be.
After what felt like an eternity, but was only a few minutes, Tali thought she heard Riley as if he were only a few feet away from her. The images in her mind were hard to concentrate, but it also made it very difficult to see in front of her. She saw... something that resembled Riley, but she couldn't tell whether it was actually him, or someone else in her ongoing vision. Another force wanted her to stop and concentrate on the visions; Fantasy wanted her to stop concentrating on anything. This tug-of-war couldn't possibly be healthy.
Taliana stood in front of a less blurry Riley. "Hey... mind getting me out of here?" she said weakly. She wasn't sure if she would be seen. However, the blurriness of his visage still bore the emerald eyes and snowy hair. Simultaneously to the other war inside her head, the sudden mystery of Riley's connection with the boy was beginning to creep into her mind.
I swear, I'm going to be sick...
She found herself on her knees. Didn't the boy say something about simplicity? As if her mind could find such at the moment. Tali figured that perhaps if she could leave this place and its chains it had on her, she could think more clearly...
((Insho: is this too much? should I scale back?
*sigh* sorry, I can be wayyy too overdramatic somtimes))

"Taliana!? There you are! But... you don't look well at all? How is that possible, this is supposed to be a happy place... one that caters to what you want... at least, it does for me." Riley said, thinking back on where he had gotten his teapot and drink from before. "I hope you haven't been making yourself sick... you have to get that clash with the 'Truth' out of your head... it won't do you any good to dwell on the things it makes you experience."
The whole time Riley was talking, he felt that he was being watched by two separate entities... one felt familiar, like a friend or relative, but the other felt cold. "It may be best if we return. Do you mind if I carry you?"

The boy was hidden from sight, but watched them both, a smile upon his face. He hoped that she had understood, cause it would do her no good to be told what the real truths of these places were-- she had to understand it first-hand. The boy was slightly worried though, about that other intruder who had emerged from the rip in the dreamspaces... he had made his way in, but hadn't made any hints or actions towards his intentions.
The boy shrugged to himself, and returned to the tree, both of which promptly dissipating as the path to it grew over with plants and trees, as if there had never been a side path.

"Please don't let the curiousity get the better of you." She turned to her guest. Of course, she had no idea that an ominous cloud of malicous was slowly gathering in the sky... The moon, slowly devoured, until all that surronded the mansion was gone. Tomoe didn't hear her crickets sing, so she looked out. Complete blackness. "Oh... my..." She grabbbed her guest and ripped open the door, "Restricted". They were thrown into a Forest like setting. A fairytale... no... a fantasy...

"Y-you don't have to..." Taliana stuttered. She attempted to get back up, shutting her eyes tightly. Certain visions of the experiment process was becoming more tangible in her mind.
"Ms. Faye, are you sure you are ready for this?" the older man she had seen before, but couldn't seem to remember, appeared again. His voice sounded 'shorted out'; as if she wasn't hearing the whole sentence, and was just hearing a sound byte of it.
"Of course, Dr.—" again, as she saw herself speak, the exchange of words seemed to be 'skipping' every once in awhile. "I am interested in this sort of thing. Being—peer into another's dreams? This is exactly what I've been looking for—"
"But—really right? Is it morally—" The vision began to fade as Taliana opened her eyes again.
This world was supposed to be relaxing, not try to question her morality! I've been thinking way too deep while I've been here... why...?
Tali realized that she had fallen over again. I also hate being this weak. She looked up towards Riley.
"Um, perhaps you could help me... a little?" she asked meekly. Visions were still blurring her mind.

He returned down the path they first traveled upon, away from newcomers into the domain, and the link they formed.
The green-eyed boy, however, reappeared along the path, heading towards the newcomers.

The dark shadow had been spreading among one planet that it had found, attempting to locate the inhabiting people there. What people that had been there had vanished... and now it was time to investigate further.
From the expanding mass of shadow, the man-shaped form separated from the larger mass and stepped into the mansion construct, it's large eye emerging from it's chest to see the open door. It sensed a familiar emanation from it... and stepped forth, scratching the ground with each siding step.

The boy was the same one who had consoled Tali earlier. He had noticed the disturbances of the multiple other peoples entering the sector, and needed to set them straight as well as see if he could get things back in order.
"You look like you are in pain... I may not know why, but try not to focus on it too much. It helps if you think of something else... trust me."

Joy was jolted awake by something, but she couldn't see because all she could see, was white.

The thing from Riley's dreamscape was very slow within the forest-like settings. There were aspects that slowed it down there, held it back, but could not stop it. It was watching from a distance, as it slowly approached, a small boy and a girl who appeared much older. It shuffled it's black fog of legs forward, carving the ground with it's nonexistent feet.

Joy lay on the ground, unaware of what was happening and still seeing nothing but white. As minutes passed by a strange black, pixelated blob started to grow on her forehead. She could feel it since every time it grew pain shot through her body. What is... happening ... to me? W-why... am I so, corrupt?
