Ty walked into the other car and motioned Daisy to follow. When they got there, he said, "I can't stop the train now. It will take too long, and the pres--I mean Momma's waiting for me." He looked back into the other car where he could see the two people. "I got my suspicions though. I certainly don't feel easy around them, that's a sure."

"The train got a bunch of hiding places. It was built during the Civil War in case of raids and stuff." Ty said, keeping up his lie. "I think this here train was one for transferring weapons and gold, but I ain't remember." He walked over to the table. "We still got some fried chicken here."

Ty looked out the window and started seeing light in the distance. Already? he thought. He opened the intercom and said "We almost there?" "I took a little shortcut. About half an hour!" the engineer replied. "That was fast!" he said

After about 15 minutes, the train began to slow down. Ty looked out the window. They were pulling into the station in DC. He went to tell everyone. "We're here!" he said. After 5 minutes the train came to a complete stop. Ty unlocked and opened the door and hopped off. He was greeted by two Secret Service agents.

"Mr. Prince, welcome back to Washington!" one of them said. "You are expected by the Presid--" the agent began to say, until Ty pulled his gun and shot the ground. Everyone turned toward him, and then minded their own business again.

"There was a spider. I don' like spiders." he said. "I know who's expecting me" he told the agent, pointing his eyes toward the others in an attempt to signal that they didn't know his business there. After a moment of thinking, the agent finally got it. "I hope Momma hasn't been waiting long!" Ty said, winking his eye. "Uh, no sir, she hasn't. You're actually early." the agent replied.

Ty told the agents to find him when the President was ready. In the meantime, Ty would take his friends around DC while he figured out a plan to separate himself from them so he could go see the President.

He quickly thought of a lie: "Momma's having an operation. How's about we go look around DC? It's real nice out here!" he suggested.

He got up, and walked out of the train, seeing a group of people standing not to far away, he recognized them as the people from the train. He walked over to the group and said "hey, you mind if I join you on where ever it is you're going," he flicked up with hat, revealing his eyes so he could see better... "I'm not to familiar with this place..."

Ty saw Jotaro walk out of the train. "Sure, you can come along. We all's goin' to look around!" he said. He started walking out of the station, motioning the others to follow. He tried to rent a buggy at the counter, but he didn't have enough cash. So he figured they'd walk.

There goes Operation Rent-A-Buggy-and-when-it-comes-time-to-see-the-President-jump-off-it-and-stop-the-horses-and-run-off, he thought to himself. I just need to get away from Charles....

Kali stopped Ty by grabbing him. "I'll get us a buggy. Just watch." She said quietly. She flipped her hair and walked to the counter. She talked to the attendant then pulled something out of corset that looked like a locket and showed it to him. The attendant took a closer look at it then shook her hand. "Okay! I got one!" she said as she came back to the group. "Our's is that nice one over there, the red one."

Kali showed the locket to Ty. On the outside was a beautiful design of a shield outline. Inside the line was a butterfly with a dragon wrapped around it. At the bottom, it read "Ireson." "I can get almost anything with this." Kali said, gloating.

Once everyone was on board, Ty started the horses going. While paying attention to the road, he was carefully devising his plan.

Let's see, I'll stop the horses and cut one of them loose, and I'll take off on it. I have to make sure I'm far from the White House so they don't see where I'm going....

Ty pulled into the central area of DC, the place filled with shops and cafes and saloons. He slowed the horses and yelled, "If you want to get down somewhere just tell me!" he said.

Charles got in the buggy, watching Ty carefully. There's no way I'll be able to break away from this group and get to the White House. I'll have to steal one of those horses. "Excuse me, ladies. I'm going to check on Tyray," he said and opened the door, hanging on the side of the buggy, out of sight of Ty and the passengers. Now he waited.

Ty continued going through the town, not knowing that Charles was near him. He pulled out that gold watch and checked the time. "35 minutes..." he said to himself. "I figure I got enough time for a bite to eat!" He stopped in front of a small cafe. It was his personal favorite, since it was the only one that served Blacks. He jumped off the buggy onto the opposite side Charles was on and tapped on the door. "Anyone hungry? My treat!" he asked. He started walking off into the cafe.

Now! Charles hopped up, and in one smooth movement pulled out his knife and cut the horse's reins. He hopped on top of it and kicked it hard to urge it forward as fast as possible. He rode quickly down the street and into an alley to deter pursuers, and made his way to the White House.

"Howdy there, Mr. Prince!" the chef yelled to Ty. "What'll you be havin' today, pardner?"

"Chicken 'n Sausage Gumbo!" Ty replied, "wit' loads of rice!"

"Comin' right up!" the chef replied, and proceeded to fill a pot with water. Ty took a seat in the cafe as the waitress brought him a glass of water. As he picked up the glass, he noticed one of the horses missing from the buggy.

No doubt it be Charles. There must be some secret KIA base here, he thought to himself. He pulled out the gold watch. "30 minutes...."

Ty choked a bit on his water after Kali asked that question. It caught him off guard. "Um..." he tried to think quickly of a disease and finally said "Malaria...She got malaria. They ain't know how serious it is, but I hopin' I can see her one more time in case these are her last times in the world..."

The chef brought out Ty's gumbo. He started eating and then said "I gotta go see Momma in..." he looked at the watch, "25 minutes. Why don't you all look around? There's a whole lot to see here..." he said, trying to separate himself from them.

Daisy had been just exiting the buggy (she'd had to stay behind a moment to readjust her skirt, which had been feeling too tight) when she glimpsed Charles, on a horse, swerving around a building and out of sight, down the road toward the White House. Though somewhat surprised, she thought nothing of it, and followed Kali and Ty into the restaurant. She noticed a worn sign in the window - "Singers Wanted."
"Ooh!" she exclaimed with a beam, swinging the door open and entering. "Might just hafta try that."
She sat beside Ty and Kali at a table.
"Man, Mr. Prince, where was Mr. Raleigh headin' in such a hurry?" she asked, fanning a napkin out over her lap.

Ty stopped eating for a moment and looked at Daisy. "He probably had some business or something.." Ty said. He was only thinking of lies for himself, not Charles. "Which way did he go?" Ty asked, and then continued on his gumbo. There wasn't too much okra in it, but not to the point where it wasn't tolerable.

It took a while for the thought to register in Ty's mind. White House.....White House. He reached into his pocket searching for the telegram. All he found was the hole that was torn back in Louisiana. Telegram's gone... he thought. Telegram is gone, Charles's headed in that way.....he knows.....HE KNOWS! He jumped from the table, and realized what he did, so he used his usual excuse.

"I thought I saw a spider." he said. Then he walked all cool and collected to the counter, even though he was a nervous wreck inside.

"Billy!" he shouted. The chef came out. "Howdy, Prince! What kin I get ya?" "You have a wire here, right?" he asked in whisper. "Ya reckon! In the back!" Ty walked into back and began tapping out a message to the White House.

FROM: TYRAY PRINCE
TO: SECRET SERVICE
-----------------------------------------------
STRANGE MAN HEADED TO WHITE HOUSE
TRENCH COAT, WHITE HAIR, VERY DANGEROUS
PROTECT THE PRESIDENT

After he was done, he walked back out and slapped a wad of money on the counter. "Give the change to the girls" he said, pointing at Daisy and Kali.

He walked out and took one of the horses and headed to the White House, unsure of what he was in for.

Ty got to the White House. There was no sign of Charles anywhere. If the Lord be good to me, he thought as he walked into the gate, I got here 'fore Charles.

He walked in, and showed his signature (which the men knew since the President didn't give him a badge). He walked down the corridors to the Oval Office, unsure of what to expect.

((Please try and keep your posts at least 50 words. I don't care what you post. You could post some plot twisting event for all I care, just post 50 or more. That's why the RP keeps going down))

Charles saw the huge building closing in on the horizon. He slowed and stopped the horse outside of it, running around to the back. In these days, the White House wasn't quite well defended, so the back door was still available, if still locked.

Fortunately, the KIA wasn't a neanderthal organization, and taught lockpicking skills to members. Charles made quick work of the lock, sneaking in through the halls, ducking into doorways and past Secret Service agents, on his way to the Oval Office.

Ty walked up to the door to the Oval Office. There were four guards there. [i]They musta gotten my message..[i]. He showed them his signature, and they opened up the doors for him.

"Let no one else in here." he said as he closed the door.

"Come in, Tyray. Have a seat." the President said. "Drinks? Cigar?" he offered. Ty accepted the cigar. He refused to sit because he knew Charles would be there any minute.

"I have some information about the KIA I wanted to tell you about." the President opened. "There have been a series of crimes in a remote village in northern Mexico. It might be the KIA."

Ty wasn't paying attention. He was too worried.
