David's eyes shot open. "What the... Hell?! How did he just... Oh. Heat vision goggles." As he got up, he gave a weary sigh. "Cheater."

"Listen, son, you will hesitiate to shoot, and let me tell you why," David began in his gruff voice. "I've been in the military since before your mother was born, and I'd killed more people than you've ever met in your entire life up to this point. I'm here to recapture a bomb maker named Sokolov, and I damn well hope you're lost, because I work for the UN. Now, if you don't mind, I'm going to mosey on over to that base a mile off and take the target, head to my landing zone, get home and take a long fucking nap."

All the time he was talking, Old Snake took more steps toward the boy until the tip of the gun was pressed against his chest. "And you're not going to shoot, because even with a bullet in my chest I can think of 1032 different ways to kill you off the top of my head. Go back home, kid. You're too young to be out here, and don't gimme that 'but I'm a grown-up now' shit. I've heard it all before."

Louis continued trudging along, finally arriving at the plotted destination. The forest had made Louis quite paranoid, what with all the sudden movements of the animals. He had to constantly remind hmiself of his status as a soldier and raise his confidance. He was afraid that his comrades had already left without him, but they didn't. In fact, there seemed to be some sort of a showdown going on. Of course, curiosity got the better of the man. He felt his hand slide to the knife at his side and slowly stepped from out of the shadows of the trees.

"Hey there..." he said, softly, carefully watching the scene. "Hope I'm not interrupting something important. I'm not trying to jump bad, only observing."

His hand gripped the handle of his knife more severely. Smart move...very smart.

((Oh, in case anyone wanted to know, Jump Bad= 60's slang for looking for a fight/looking tough.))

David sighed. Of course he was in a squad. Old Snake himself had personally requested to go alone, as he worked best like that. Squads were very useful, however, and young people like these needed all the help they could get.

"My name is Seymour Bottoms, and I'm on a very important errand, so if you would please put your damn gun down!" He grabbed the gun and twisted it upward, quickly stepping back, ready to defend himself. "I'm not your enemy. We might be looking for the same person, but stay away. I'm warning you," he said, and started to run, dropping the gun.

While this whole encounter of the old kind was going on, Viper was observing the scene from a tree, cleverly camoflaging himself. He recognized Jackel as one of the men assigned to his squadron. He looked at the man behind him, he didn't recognize him... He looked to see yet another man he didn't recognise. He sighed, and dropped down from the tree, His suit shifting a little, back to it's default color. (( Viper has a less-advanced octo-camo suit, it can only change into pre-determined camoflages. )) He looked at the squad... "First day of the mission and you're already fighting..." Viper sighed, he looked over at Naked Snake, "you said you had my equipment... I'd like it back."

Naked SNake handed Viper his equipment back. "Yoru equipment is A-Okay. Now that we all are here its time to o over the mission. Our objective from HQ is to get a man called Sokolov. He is guarded and we must get him back. This is also a stealth mission so we can't go around making a ruckus. If we don't get Sokolov out of here, we are so going to get our butt kicked by the Boss...." He said. "By the way, I do hope you guys rememebr what to do if we encounetr an enemy by accident. Shoot him down with a traqulizer or knock him out and then traqulize him." He said as he changed into his Spirit Camo. ((Yes The Camo you get from The Sorrow.)) "Remember our Camo got special powers like for example my camo allows me to sneak in without making a sound." He said as he took a deep breath. "Everybody ready?"

Louis shrugged and slackened the grip on his knife. He quickly glanced at the person behind him, scowling at the fact that he had made such a basic mistake, before smiling.

"Well, my gut says that if this is how we start our mission, we're gonna end up having more screw ups than this." he said, checking his camo.

He listened to the plan, cringing when Snake mentioned the Boss. If there were ever to a person to be afraid of...

After about 2 minutes of running, Old Snake sighed. He'd gotten away, he thought. He didn't hear any footsteps, so they weren't pursuing him. However, they were after the same goal, so he needed to work quickly. He put on his facial camo mask and switched the setting to match the green foliage.

He came upon the base, using his binoculars to scope out the guards. The place was heavily gaurded, but he could see a few blind spots. It also looked quite old, so there couldn't have been cameras. He put the binoculars down and drew his knife, crawling closer to the base.

As Old Snake approached the base, the radio went off. He stayed down and turned the speaker on.

"Snake, I've got some information on that boy you saw. It seems the CIA has sent an agent named Naked Snake into Norway, but I found another file that stated his transport to the Soviet Union. Coincidence?"

"I've learned a long time ago that there are no coincidences," David retorted.

"Listen. As young as he is, he has been trained extensively for this mission. If you see him up close, be car-"

"No need. It doesn't matter how much training he's had; experience makes you a soldier. He's a greenhorn, and there's no getting around it. I've been around longer than his grandfather. Besides," he said with finality, "he is to remorseful. He had a gun to my chest and didn't fire for a minute. Only more proof, Major."

"Times have changed, Snake. You're one in a million," Tom said.

"I'd say I'm about extinct now," Snake muttered and shut off his radio.

"Lets head out. And remember we gotta make sure we don't run around making alot of noises. And don't try and wear something that says "HEY I'M OVER HERE SHOOT ME!" Otherwise they will shoot at you." He said as he got out his Mk22 equipped with a supressor and a knife. "Alright I'll cover the back." He said.

Viper strayed from the group, he had other things in mind... He had gotten to the base before the others, and found a lone guard patrolling the base. Too easy... he thought. He snuck up behind the guard, kicked his ankle with his leg, put his knife on his neck, and cupped his mouth so he wouldn't make any noises. "Dasvidaniya" he said, then slit his throat. He took the guard uniform off, and put it on, disguising himself as one of the guards, luckily the guards all wore balaclavas so he would be fine. He kneed down and contacted Anthony on his codec "Snake, this is Viper, I've successfuly infiltrated the enemy camp, I'm disguised as one of the guards and will give you any intel I can get." He turned off the codec and walked around the base, pretending to patrol, but really, looking for where Sokolov was being held captive.

"Okay. Me and the others will catch up with you." Snake said on the codec. He contacts The Boss. "Boss Viper has enetred the enemy base as as one of them and will contact me for anything he gathers up."

"He went alone? Go and get to him now and get Sokolov, Snake try to rememebr some of the basics of CQC and bring Sokolov back to the Iron Curtain." The Boss said on the codec.

"Alright. Commencing Virtious Mission now." He said on the codec as he gets off. "Lets go guys." Anthony said as he goes to the enemy base line in silent taking all the enemies that was in his view down with the MK22.

"Tch... show-offs." said Louis, quietly blending in against one of the walls of the base.

Every now and again, a guard seemed to notice, but then continued on his route. Louis took advantage of this regular patrol and was able to infiltrate the base without a single kill. Unfortunately, once he was inside, he wasn't so lucky. Guards were EVERYWHERE and it wasn't long before he was noticed.

"Hey, You---"

The guard was quickly cut off as Louis delivered a fatal, soundless blow with his knife.

"That's why they call me 'Silent' Jackal..."

Anthony made it to the location and turns his codec on and uses Frenquency 145.90. "Viper, this is Naked Snake. Do you read me?"

"I made it to where the base Sokolov is being held at. I had to put some of the guards to sleep by using my MK22. And nobody saw me coming."

"I'm going to stay at the entrance for the others to arrive."
..........
Naked Snake turned his codec off and stayed at the entrance.

Viper walked into the room containing Sokolov. Sokolov saw him and ran to hide behind a table. "What is it that you want... I told you I'd make it, why do you still hold me here?" Sokolov said as he hid. Viper removed his balaclava, "I am a CIA agent sent here to rescue you, stay calm, and be silent, my comrades are coming to assist..." He looked around, saw a guard walk into the room, the guard saw him "hey who a-" was all he could say before there was a tranquilizer dart in his neck. Viper put his index finger on his lips in a "stay quiet" motion. He looked outside, saw the coast was clear. He motioned for Sokolov to follow him, he managed to sneak back to the entrance of the base, where he then saw Snake. "I've got Sokolov." Said Viper as he motioned once again for Sokolov to follow him.

Viper followed Snake, Jackal, and Wold to the old draw bridge, where he saw The Boss waiting for them, he spoke in Russian to Sokolov "alright, you're almost home, just stay calm and everything will be back to normal before you know it." Sokolov was very nervous, but he just nodded.

"Boss? What are you doing here?" Snake asked The Boss.

"Good work you 4. Your mission is now complete. Sokolov comes with me." The Boss said and she drops two items that shook the bridge.

The sky became dark as a helicopter came and hornets came and surronded them but since everybody was distracted by them Sokolov was taken by The Fear, the hornets went away.

"My friends, let us fight again." The Boss said.

"I have waited long for this day." The Fear said.

"Good to see you, Boss." The End said popping his eyes out.((Which I might add keeps freaking me out everytime I see it.))

It started to pour.

"Its raining blood. Is he crying?" The Boss said.

Snake, Viper, Jackal, and Wolf saw a ghost as it was by The Bosss and it nodded but then dissappered as The Boss turns around but sees nothing.

A built guy with marks on his face with lightning bolts came from his body. "Kuwabara, Kuwabara." He said.

Viper looked around, and saw the strange muscular man, that can't be... Volgin...? I've heard about him, but what is he doing here?!? thought Viper. Volgin walked up to the group of four, and knocked wolf, off the bridge, leaving jackal, viper, and snake. Snake charged at the boss, the boss being superior than him in CQC blocked his attack, and threw him off the birdge as well. Viper drew his USP but wasn't fast enough as Volgin had grabbed him from behind, and hoisted him over his head. "Son of a bi-" was all he could say before he was thrown off the bridge. Jackal was left, standing there, the Boss just walked up to him and palmed him in the stomach, making him lose his breath, then she threw him off the bridge with the rest of the squad.

(( Sorry, I had to powergame a little, but it was going to happen anyway. ))

The 4 had drifted in the water only to be saved by being dragged by the current onto land. Everybody was badly injured. The Boss and Volgin left the bridge only to be taken in the Helicopter where two girls are in the Helicopter with Volgin and another man (Ocelot AKA ADAM).

Viper woke up, his body in tremendous pain. He looked at his arm, he was broken, the arm bent back in an abnormal way... He tore a piece of cloth from his shirt, and put in in between his teeth, then gripped his arm and pulled it quickly, and painfully into place. He kept silent as the arm snapped back into place. He checked the rest of his body, a few bumps, scratches and bruises but nothing as serious. He removed a bandage from his supply pack, and wrapped his elbow up to let it heal. He got up and saw the rest of his teammates were stilled unconcious... He walked a 50 or so meters away from them and kneeled over and tuned his codec frequency to 149.89

Talking in Russian he said "yeah... It's safe to talk now... They're not listening..." He listened to what the man on the other side of the conversation said... "Yeah... Mhm... No, we didn't succeed, Sokolov is in the hands of Colonel Volgin... Yeah I know, it's going to be a problem... I'll find a way around it... No, of course they won't get in the way... Yes, I'm positive... Nothing will get in the way of the plan... Who? Ocelot? No, he I don't think he can be trusted... Why? Because, after all, he is HER son... Yeah, I didn't think so either... I'll keep you informed... Viper out." He switched off his codec and made sure no one had heard what he just said, they rest of the team was still unconcious, so it was safe.

Viper looked at Anthony, "we wait, for the rest of the squad to wake up, then we move to retreave Sokolov... Again..." Viper's arm was bandaged up, and the rest of his body was covered in badaged and stiches. He looked at all the scars from the fall... "I'm going to have a lot of stories to tell once this whole thing in over..." Viper mumbles to himself. He checked his weapons, the guns were fine, they needed cleaning thou, but the ammo was soaked, he threw away the clip, and reloaded a dry one, but not before dismantaling the gun and drying it.

Wolf finally woke up knowticing his arm was dislocated from the fall...luckily he had some medical training...in spite the pain recieved he quickly knotched it back into place.

"Wolf: It doesnt look like I sustained to much damage...scrapes and cuts...minor at most."

quickly getting back up he saw jackle still unconcious... he looked at the awake Viper and snake...

"Wolf: How long was I out...and what has happened since im out."

Louis finally starting coming around. He couldn't remember anyhing, or even think clearly. Heck, he couldn't feel anything except for the fact that his head hurt like a bitch. He could see the others around him and unsteadily got to his feet, clutching his ribs which were also burning rather badly.

"Okay, somethig bad happened. I don't know or care what, exactly, but damn could I use a drink about now." he said, wishing nothing more than to just lay down and sleep.

Bio: The Boss is a legendary American soldier, founder and leader of the Cobra unit, and is known as the mother of the U.S. special forces. She was born in 1922 and is the daughter of one of the original members of the Philosophers behind the Philosophers' Legacy. She is known in Russia as Voyevoda, literally meaning The Warlord. In June 1944, during World War II, she led the Cobra unit to victory at the Battle of Normandy. She was pregnant at the time with a baby fathered by The Sorrow. The Boss gave birth to a baby boy on the battlefield via a messy caesarian section that left her with a long, snaking scar across her abdomen.

The Boss is Naked Snake's mentor; he sees her as a mother-figure and she sees him as the son she never got to raise. The Boss and Snake took on numerous missions for the ten years they were together, and the two of them are responsible for creating CQC.

The Boss "defected" to the Soviet Union and joined Colonel Volgin's renegade faction, becoming the lead instigator. The Boss has not really defected though, but is actually undercover and is willingly and knowingly sacrificing her life and reputation, and knowing the fact that she will be branded as a traitor by the United States Government and a war criminal by the Russians, She is still going to do this. ((Time to bring this RP back!))

Colnol Volgin opened the two cases that The Boss had carried the small one had a mini-bomb while the long one had the launcher. Volgin was like a little boy who just got his very first X-Mas present.

Ocelotlooks behind him and sees two girls.

The two girls turned thier heads away.

"What are we going to do with the girls?" Ocelot said.

"Who are they?" Volgin asked.

"Apperently they are Sokolov's family." Ocelot said.

((etc. etc. etc.))

Volgin equips the Launcher with the Mini-Nuclear Bomb. "We have no furthur use for Sokolov's Research Facility. I think it's time I gave this marvelous new toy a try." He said as he was getting ready to use it.

"Colonel! Even if they are our enemies, they're still our countrymen!" Ocelot said.

"But it won't be me that pulled the trigger. It will be our friend the American defector." Volgin said with a grin.

Ocelot grabs Volgin. "You're gonna nuke your fellow Russians!?" Volgin pushed him away. "argh."

"Remember The Alamo." Voglin said.

"Colonel!!!" Ocelot shotued.

Volgin pushed the trigger and the bomb went and made contact with Sokolov's research facility and makes an explosion.

Personality: Alot like Old Snake, crossed with The End.
Bio: Seven was a clone of The End. The seventh clone, and the only successful one. He has the same traits as the man too, a good sniper, etc. He was given accelerated aging, so if he switched sides, he wouldn't live that long. He was rescued by Major Zero, and has now been sent out to rescue Snake and co after they got owned by The Boss. Later, he will enter the field of battle with the group, and be a part of the jigsaw puzzle that will defeat Volgin. Seven is still extremely fit and healthy-
