Isabelle giggled as she somersaulted, barely avoiding some of the needles that were flying a little high.
"Is that the best..." She began as she landed.
Then, she stopped. Something didn't feel right to her. She turned around, and suddenly threw two balls containing elements. One fire, one ice.
The blast caused smoke surrounding the needles, but a remaining few tore through the smoke towards Isabelle. She cursed in her mind, giggled in life as she twisted and ducked, hoping they'd hit Orochi.
...But he had protected himself. Dammit.

This is a fighting tournament. You can't intervene... Kory kept telling himself as he stayed put. He remembered how he and Lydia almost had to fight, but...Kory couldn't bear the thought of hurting her, so he surrendered as soon as he walked into the arena, causing several people to throw things at him. He looked at his dirty staff, which he had used to block them. I can't intervene. This is just a tournament. His thoughts were like a broken record.

He still retained his serious expression. If she were to actually listen to his instruction, she'd learn off the bat why the Kohryu bloodline was hidden so long.

She suddenly swept her hands into the air, and several elements coursed through her arms. Her hands were now shining all sorts of different colours. Red, Blue, Purple, Green, Yellow...it was rather like a rainbow, but these colours lacked any emotion in them.
She suddenly charged at Orochi with amazing speed, determined to strike him down with her hands. If she connected, lightning and fire and ice and wind would all smash into him at once. The very idea of such power was a beautiful thing in her mind.

The technique in its own caused a black hole to absorb most of the impact, but the energies themselves were sucked in and condensed into the space which was the former black hole.
"Composer's Second Art: Divergence of Judgment!" Thrusting the same energies into the ground to make a giant explosion in front of him, Orochi used a technique that might as well have been a really big Power Geyser. As for what it did to Isabelle... it depended on whether or not she could guard in time and NOT be thrown out of the building from the shock. If she was, then oops.

Determined not to lose, she immediately created a large barrier composed from ice. It was shattered and she was knocked to the ground, but it could have been so much worse. The shield had saved her.

Deciding it was best to make her learn on the fly, he still waited for her to attack him. He could turn her into a goddess of sorts second only to him. She'll make a fine student indeed. But beating basics into her mind was priority... despite her little fanboy.

Her hand outstretched, and from her palm, a small round sphere of energy, black appeared. She began to swirl the sphere in her hand, and a small batch of misty darkness began to rise from the bottom of the sphere.
"Round and round and round it goes..."
Then, she stopped swirling the sphere. It was filled to the tip with energy, the mist now a terrible fog.
"Where I go...only I know."
She threw the ball down at her feet, and it cracked.
The entire arena was throwing into darkness, the spectators blind as bats. People gave yells and cries as Isabelle began pacing the darkness, around Orochi...

All that he would do is simply stand there while a glow of aura surrounded him. If she launched an attack at him, it'd hit nothing but air. And the second stage of the attack would commence. Regardless, he took extra percautions in case. Such as setting up a few surprises. In order to counter a smokescreen of such magnitude, he decided to setup the same mirror types as before, but he added a little reinforcement. Tuning his mind into the land, he used certain points to mark movement, and used his magics to plant various ports to sent energy through. So if she stepped on that point he could easily catch her off guard. Regardless, he had her trapped.

Then, she smiled. And swept her arms.
The smokescreen was blown away by a sudden force of wind, all traces of it vanishing into the sky. Then, she swept a second wave of wind, but this time at Orochi, in an attempt to pressure him. It was not so much an attack; more-so an annoyance.

Then, she suddenly disappeared, then reappeared, then disappeared...she was using her ice powers to create illusions of her as she in reality racing towards Orochi, electricity cackled through her hands, and she suddenly reappeared in front of him, smiling.

"Don't worry, Lydia," Kory said as reassuringly as possible. There was no way he would stop Orochi, he knew that, but...It was worth it to give Lydia a chance to surrender. She seemed too petrified to even speak.

"Don't make me put regret into your existence, boy." With a smack to the back of his head, he decided to see if he could piss him off too. "Naw, I'm just joking. Seriously, though. Get the hell out of the arena before I shove my foot up your ass." With a push, he sent him tumbling off the arena.
Sighing, he blew out smoke. Looking at Isabelle, he had hoped he didn't traumatize her again.
"Goddammit. Give me some sort of signal, Isabelle. I do believe you will indicate whether or not you wish to continue. If not, go get rest, I'll clean up here."

Giving her the motion to get the hell out, he turned around.
"Back to her old self. Poor gal. But the brat'll be a problem, I'd better put him out of his misery before he causes trouble."
Turning to Kory, he could sense his malicious intent.
"Boy, you're in over your head. If I knocked some pretty heavy sense into her, I'll turn you to mulch and send you home in a BOX. Don't make me do it. Now scram."
Grabbing the kid, he threw him out the window. Interfering with his family affairs was suicide especially when he got angry. And with little kids like Kory... he wouldn't give two shits about smashing their skulls in.
