Phoenix got the pizza and put it in the oven, he was in his aspartment and Trucy would be back from school any moment. He sighed and had a drink of orange juice, he was cutting down on the grape juice. He was saying 'I wonder if they're even coming...' He tilted his head and waited.

A knock came from the door. When it was answered, a tall familiar figure was standing at the doorway, the coat that was given to him as a present was worn but still wearable. He smiled his goofy grin when he saw Phoenix. "Hey, pal!" Gumshoe said, chuckling. "Long time, no see! How've ya be?" He paused for a moment, spotting Mr. Edgeworth. "M-Mr. Edeworth, sir! I didn't know you were back in the country!"

Edgeworth was speaking on his cellphone while Gumshoe and Wright were talking, he also ignored Trucy as it was very important. He looked over at Gumshoe. "I see your here too..." He scoffed. 'Just what I need to spoil my day, Gumshoe...' He thought.

"Couldn't say lifes been great," Gumshoe replied. "What with having to provide for a wife and child, plus I've resign from the force. I basically do this and that now-a-days, like fixing roof shingles, plumbering, carpenter repairs. Though I then to do more injuring to myself that solve problems....but I've learn to live with it. Plus, Maggey's been named assistant cook and co-owner of Tre Biene! Man, she can make the best meals!" He noticed Edgeworth getting slightly irrate with him and siesed his prattling. She stood there for a moment, not saying a word, her gaze upon the threshold. Slowly, she tilted her head up, to meet with his eyes, her own slightly watered. She has changed quite a bit from the purkly young assistant of a deffense attorney. Her face had sharpen, though her childish features did very little. She was quite beautiful, with her hair done as it always had, though her topnot how hangs in a long tail behind her. She smiled, meeting his gaze. "Hey, Nick," Maya said, then rushed and flung her arm around his waiste, buring her head into his chest.
