I'll be Matt Rage and Aquanine, OK?

Matt Rage sat inside the COURT headquarters, staring at a screen depicting a map of the city. Something was up, he was sure of it. There had been no cape-related incidents for quite a while. It wasn't right. It wasn't...normal.
Of course, he reasoned to himself, maybe the villains had given up. Crushing defeat after crushing defeat does wear on a man.
Suddenly, a red dot near the middle of the map caught his eye. It was just what he had been waiting for.

I was ever really good at RPing one character at a time, so i will be the newest member of COURT, Hakuro de Killer.

It was the middle of the night and Hakuro was wide awake and sneaking around the city. He had been having a heavy case of insomnia recently and he decided to snoop around in the shadows and awaiting anyone special he managed to see if they knew any whereabouts of Shelly. This night, he made his way within a 100 yard proximity of a man wearing red and white. The man looked oddly familiar, as if he had seen him in a picture of some kind, but he shrugged it off and continued watching the man's movements. Watching... and waiting... for some kind of information he could collect from this unsuspecting man without even being seen.

Matt Rage called to his coworkers.
"Here!" he called. "Look at this!"
The members of the COURT came rushing up. Matt indicated the glowing red spot.
"This means that something's happening Downtown," Matt explained. "Just wanted to inform you all. I'll send Aquanine or someone after it."

It wasn't exactly legal to steal information from the COURT system, but it didn't really bother the head writer and head photographer of
'The Big S', LA's only superhero newspaper. For a start, they were too busy trying to think up a slogan.
"We dig up the dirt and weeds in the garden of truth and justice?" suggested the man with the large grin and toothpaste hair. His companion, an afro wearing highly excitable uni-dropout shook her head.
"It's a bit long winded Brushy" she said with a gleam in her eyes "How about, 'Prepare for trouble, make it dou...'"
"I'm sure that's copyrighted Lotta" he interjected "We need something that's 'Snappy and to the point' endquote!" Lotta Hart, the photographer couldn't think of anything, and neither could Spark Brushel, the journalist.

Suddenly, the crayon-drawn map behind the began to flash and they both had the same idea at the same time.
"WE NEVER MISS A STORY!" they exclaimed at the same time.
"It seems I'm spendin too much time with ya" Lotta said jokily "We've gotta get that scoop!" They ran out of the house with their equipment, jumped into their partially converted News-(camper)Van and drove off towards the incident. At least they hoped they would, as they forgot to check the map properly.

Aquanine flew towards the building that Matt Rage had indicated on the map. He really didn't want to be doing this. He had a date with Maestra tonight. Ah well, he sighed. It shouldn't take too long.
Reaching the spot that MAtt had indicated earlier, he glanced around. All seemed normal. Maybe he'd-
Wait.
Aquanine took off his glances, polished them, replaced them, and stared again.
There was no mistaking it. What in the hell was Hakuro doing there, and fraternizing with- Aquanine very much doubted that Hakuro had been given clearance for this.
He flipped open his communicator.
"Matt?" he said into it. "We have a problem."

"The shadowy bitterness of coffee paralells only that of the night," Jazz remarked, as he stepped out of the shadows behind *Aquanine. His visor glowed red in the darkness, illuminating the outline of his face and shoulders. He wore a greyish-tan trenchcoat and a matching fedora.

"The only difference," he continued, downing a mug of coffee, "is the chilling sensation that night always seems to eminate."

It was clear that Jazz was suspicious of *Aquanine's prescence. "What brings you out to this neck of the woods, hmm?" He asked, tossing his mug aside, shattering it against the concrete below.

*Is it Aquanine or Aquinine? Because his profile says Aquinine...

Continuing to watch the man in red and white from the shadows, he awaited any shape or form of information. Out of the corner of his eye, he spotted the drill-haired man. Aquinine... Why are you here, I wonder... Hakuro thought as he slightly divided his attention, paying the slightest attention to Aquinine's movements as he continues to eavesdrop on the man in red and white. I know you know something about him, Two-Face... just let me in on it and i won't have to resort to anything... he continued to think to himself.

Lawboy(A.K.A. Apollo) was taking a night-time stroll downtown.Not much been happening around town lately.It seemed that the villains had simply dissapeared.Literally.Some of them can dissapear.

Apollo had let his mind wander,and he had no idea where he was going.Just letting his legs take him where they wanted to go.

Hakuro continued to keep both ears on Two-face and his one eye alternating between Two-Face and Aquinine. This wouldn't be so tiresome if Aquinine wasn't standing on the opposite side of him. He decided that he was getting nowhere fast with this and took out an odd-looking canister with a pin in it. He pulled the pin and gently set it face-up on the ground and stood in the shadows. A white fog slowly encompassed the area. As it was in the middle of the city in the middle of the night, such a thing wasn't uncommon and was rather convenient to some criminals.

Hakuro used the fog as cover to slowly approach a closer vantage point where he could see Aquinine and his target much easier. As he moved, very little sound was made. Even the can spewing fog was rather silent as it made a sound not unlike a gust of wind whipping through the brick buildings that made up their cover. As he entered the plaza, he was getting really close to the target, but quickly and silently moved towards a pair of conveniently placed trash cans, which he hid behind to continue spying on him from this more advantageous hiding spot.

Aquanine coughed. When the smoke dissipated, Hakuro had vanished.
"Damn," he hissed. He opened his communicator again.
"General?"
"Yes?" the voice of Matt Rage issued from the other end.
"We have an agent carrying out a clandestine operation, but I doubt he was given authorization."
"Ah, whatever. Does it look like he's doing anything illegal?"
"Well, sir, that's hard to-"
"Look, I know you have plans tonight. If nothing seems out of the ordinary, you should leave. I'm sure one of our many costumed vigilantes will take care of it if something occurs."
And he hung up.

No, thought Aquanine to himself. Something was already occuring, and damned if he was going to leave. He moved to the left, trying to spot Hakuro and Two-Face again.

Jazz reached into his coat, removed a Thermos, and proceeded to pour himself a cup of coffee. Glug. Glug. Glug.

"Ah...! You know what I couldn't stand when I was younger, Ponyboy?" Jazz remarked. His nickname went unappreciated. "When you went to a restaraunt to order a coffee, and they snuck some sugar in. Or even worse: milk. That's what I used to think. Now I've learned not to let a little unexpected addition ruin the entire experience. In fact, I welcome it."

Aquanine brushed the hair out of his eyes.
"We haven't had much to do lately, and I suppose he jumped at the first sign of trouble. As for Hakuro's motives....those are something I know nothing about."

"So the bloodhounds are restless; the big boss decided to give them a fox hunt, eh? Hey, maybe it's really just a goose-chase... Seems like Hakuro's got somebody on his hit list, or something like that.

"I saw him sneak over that way, behind those trashcans," Jazz said, directing Aquinine to the corner where DeKiller was hiding. "I doubt there's any more important information to be gained here. Have fun."

And with that, the mysterious masked man was gone, just as quick as he appeared.

The van was lost, and so was it's occupants. The spent about fifteen minutes driving mindlessly around town before stopping where it was in an attempt for Lotta and Spark to find their bearings. The problem with that was they'd stopped in the middle of a box junction, and no-one could get past them.
"You know, a lot of people seem to be beeping at us" Spark said thoughtfully. Lotta was too busy looking at her oversized map to pay much attention. It was so large it completely covered the windscreen of the van, and so thick that it was hard to move.
"I reckon that the incident was right..." she replied as she began to wave her finger around the map to try and make a good guess, not that she'd admit that to him. "Here!" Brushel looked where she was pointing, trying his best not to get lost in the cheap plastic sea that was surrounding him.
"In Gourd Lake?" he said in a suprised tone.
"Oops" Lotta said as she turned a bright red "I must've gone back in time! Why don't we jus keep driving around?" She began to gather the map together, and after a few long and tiring minutes she was finished. They drove off, to the immense relief of all the vehicles they were behind them. That is, until they all drove forward at once and got stuck again.

Hakuro continued to watch Two-Face through the fog created by his Fog canister, which seemed to run empty a few seconds after he finished hiding. Along with Aquinine watching him, a familiar masked man with white hair and metallic-looking body parts speaking with Aquinine. Unfortunately for him, he cannot hear Aquinine and Jazz speak. However, the fact that Two-Face didn't seem to hear them made things fine for him. Hakuro continues watching and waiting for Two-Face to meet any kind of contact he may have.

((Could someone possibly fill in the role of Two-Face? It's getting irritating just watching and waiting for a guy who's kinda standing around, doing nothing.))

I believe you have not been made perfectly clear on your own rules. If you recall, Rule #1 was No God-Moding. However, you seemed to break that rule just now by playing as Jazz, a character that has been assigned to Gyakuten Phoenix. Now, if you could rewrite that post, that would be great as I'd rather not have people playing as characters not assigned to them.

Now, unless there are any objections, we now resume to your regularly scheduled programming.

((Uh, Godmodding is acting like a god, and controlling. In other words, super-characters, auto-hit, stupid luck (like having all your stuff nicked, only to find it at your feet) and controlling other people's characters. Or is all of that something else? Also; Yea.))

(Controlling other peoples characters are allowed in many RP's, as long as you make sure the characters you use don't act out of character. Most of the time It's used for conversations, so they don't take five posts XD. Oh, and now I'm confused. I'll change the question again!

Would you want other people to control your character, subject to the rules?)

From the top of the Police Department's skyscraper, Lawyerman, known only by few as Phoenix Wright, scanned the city for trouble. It has been quite slow due to the villain's inactivity. More then likely they've gone into hiding. But why? he pondered, as his yellow cape fluttered in the evening breeze. He fingers ran across the green Magatama, the broach given to him by Stargazer.

Suddenly, the wail of sirens came from below, as police cars pulled out and raced toward the center of town. Adjusting his goggles, Lawyerman lept off of the roof, plummeting down toward the earth before pulling straight, following the police cars. He touched a button on the side of his mask, a direct link to his young ward, Lawboy. "Apollo," he said. "We've got a hit here! Head up toward the central square and meet me. I might need some help with this."

Leo's puupy dog ears perked up when he heard sirens coming from near the Police Department. Well, he had to get there fast to see wht was going on. He turned into a ferret and raced out the door and ran toward the police station. When he got there he saw Lawyerman. Well, this should be handled well, I have nothing to worry abou-

Leo turned around. What he saw... Shocked him.

[[I'm going to join as my beloved brainchild in the Lawyerman! project. So, welcome me as El Kabonginator!]]

No one would expect a children's show star to be, in his mind, the perfect villain. From the neck down, the man was clad in the uniform that most children would recognize as the Jammin' Ninja's costume. However, on the man's face was a black mask tied in back like the cartoon character "El Kabong", for which this villainous man named his villainous self. Hanging behind him on a guitar strap was his beloved weapon, his bright red guitar.

"Feh. Too quiet around. I could stir up some trouble if I wanted to, but why rock the boat just yet?" The Latino male snickered to himself. In all truth, he really didn't know what he wanted to do as his first criminal act in a while: kidnapping, or bank robbing? He dwelled on it quite a bit, but could not make up his mind just yet. After a few steps, he ducked into an alley, taking the mask off and tucking it down in his bandanna, then pulling his leek out of his pocket and clenching it between his teeth. He then switched the position of his guitar from his back to across his chest. It wasn't time to draw attention to himself yet. Besides, he had filming to go to, and clearly, this crime wasn't his--the sirens were far in the distance as far as he was concerned. Why stir up trouble when trouble already simmered into a brew?

There are no heroes left in man. Mankind is doomed by the likes of you.
