Phoenix's eyes peeled open and on instinct he sat up. His mind trudged through the thickness of the cold to try and recover his memories of the past few hours. The search was unfortunately lacking. All that returned was the knowledge that Dhalia wasn't Dhalia and he didn't walk back to his dorm. When he turned to see an exhausted muddy Dollie sleeping next to him he soon figured out why. He lay back down and attempted to sift through every memory he had of his Dollie. He wanted to know which moments he spent with her, and which were with her sister. It was only with this notion in his head that he started to realize how truthful it had to be. At times his Dollie could be so cold and distant with him, even with a smile on her face. Even when she said his name and told him she loved him. It might have been the cold, but he was starting to feel sick. The idea that one of these women had been a stranger unnerved him. Maybe he should just leave and get out of all this while he still could.
Phoenix looked over at the sleeping Dollie...No, he couldn't do that. If he left she would never forgive herself. Besides, he had to protect her.

Iris' eyes fluttered open after who knows how long, and she instantly scolded herself for it. I fell asleep? Why can't I seem to do anything right? As she looked up, her gaze met Phoenix's for a split second before quickly turning her head away. In the past, she wouldn't have minded his watching her sleep, but under the current conditions it made her terribly uncomfortable.
