SUDDENLY, WITHOUT WARNING, THERE CAME A LOUD BATTLE CRY THAT SHOOK THE HEAVENS!!! Epic music plays as a large man about six feet tall and wearing Edo-style Japanese clothing leaps in, gets into a kabuki pose, twirls his head around, and lets out a loud "YOAAAAAAAS!!!" before pulling out a Japanese fan and opening it in his hand.
It was a very odd looking (and rather surly) looking fellow in a red-orange and white haori and with a very huge sword on his back. He also had a mane of white hair that almost made him seem like there was a bush growing out of his head (and kind of kabukiish) and a black circle around his left eye. Oh yeah, and he had black ears.
Who was this superhero who just entered the scene for some completely and abashedly random reason? Was it... could it be... yes, it's... wait, no, sorry, I got mistaken. This isn't anyone incredible at all. It's just Hanyouman, the most universally disliked and biggest asshole on the planet. Half-man, half-demon, half-panda, half-samurai, half-kabuki, half-superhero, half-loser, all hybrid!
"DIRECT ME TO THE ACTION!!!" He shrieks in his usually-rough voice, "Or to a McDonald's, I'm hungry, damn it."
A child then walked over to Hanyouman and stared up at him. Hanyouman, who noticed him looks over to the little guy, "What do you want?"
"YOU SUCK" the kid yells, then kicks him in the shin and runs!
"AAAAAGH, WHAT THE HELL?!" He screams, holding his shin in pain, and later shaking his fist at him, "YOU BETTER RUN, YOU LITTLE FAGGOT!!"
Everywhere he goes, Hanyouman is the butt of everyone's abuse and ridicule. Yes, he has that poor a reputation, both as a superhero, and as a person. God, he's so lame! But that is okay, because then we can laugh at his pitiful life!
"Little punk..." He then coughs and gets into a flexing pose, much like a sentai, "Anyways, like I said, DIRECT ME TO THE ACTION!! I'll take on anyone with my deadly power!"

Moving to the Feudal one, he ripped a hole in the space to get there quickly. He slung his sword to his side, walking to the man gripping his shins in pain, he left his hands in his pockets, smirking, red right eye glowing with the green left one glowing as well.

"But Hanyou-sama, deities and gods are the same thing..." Spoke a cute blond oni with a scarf around her neck, white and gold tiger print and long blond hair near him.
"SHUT UP, I'M BUSY!!! Damn it, Oni-Girl, go shopping or something!"
"Okie-dokie~ <3" She chirps happily and skips off to go buy stuff.
"Where was I... oh yeah. Anyway! If you're looking to fight with Hanyouman, then Hanyouman'll trounce you into mortification! I'M GONNA TAKE YOU OUT LIKE THE TRASH, AND DUMP YOU IN THE LANDFILL OF LOSERS!"
With that, Hanyouman tightened the hachimaki headband around his forehead, removed his own big-ass (fat) sword from his band and held it in both hands with a cocky grin.

He emitted a burst of energy at Hanyou. His arrogant demeanor was actually humorous. So, he shot out a wave of pure pressure to send him to the dumpster.
"Might I ask the name of the person who has entertained me so far?" He asked, standing there.

"hey, man, that's like, my home!" Cried a nearby old bum.
He then lifted it up with an old discarded banana peel on his head and smelling a lot worse than he did before (hey, dumpsters don't exactly smell like roses, you know!) "I spoke my name earlier! It is Hanyouman! THE Hanyouman!" he then leaps out of the dumpster, and poses yet again, "So you think you can toss me in the trash like an old... old thing? Well, I won't have that!!"
"Man, you messed up my bed, now I'll have to set it up again," Said the old bum again.
"Will you go away!?"
With that, Hanyouman leaps at the man, "Now! I must ask you... who are you, as well?!" He yells, just before unleashing a fearsome slash at him with his gigantic sword, which he calls "Fatseiga".

Grabbing his sword, he decided to show his respect.

-Mysterio, a shape-shifter, has just come to kill Flex, who has fire-power, at COCOA headquarters.
-Finn, a shark-boy with wings (flyfish-*shot before jokes continue*), has been kidnapped by Mysterio, and is currently out cold.^^
-Brenda, Finn's girlfriend, is coming back to COCOA, and knows about the kidnapping. SHE HAD FIRE POWERS FIRSTTTTT! *shot again* ^^ Mysterio's ex, has a dark, evil side called the Phoenix, which WILL be important later, don't worry.
-Keisuke, aka KT, is fighting Hanyouman, as you can see...
-The Brazen Blaze (also has fire powers), Flex's brother, wants him dead-o, and ordered Mysterio to do this.
-Uh... other characters who will show themselves eventually (I hope/ subtle hint): AeroDynamik (super speed and wings), Shrink-G (super strength and shrinkage, G COME BACK!!), Sara (lightning powers), assorted characters RPed by Allan's Aokage
-That's all I can think of. Anything I missed, anyone, add it in there.))

He still held the sword on his shoulder, putting his left hand in his pocket.
"Hanyou. Get stronger, the world may need you... and so will these people." he then tossed a card Hanyou's way. It was the COCOA card he was given.
"Ordinary superheroes could use you. Take on the legions and come back if you want to fight me again. Find the blade will suit you. I'll be waiting." He turned around, and began to walk away. Whether or not he left with a smirk depended on Hanyou's response.

Hanyouman, of course, never heard of COCOA. But this is mainly due to the fact that he, along with two other allies of his (Oni-Girl being one of those two), are from a rather secluded island that is never shown to exist on the maps of today. Together, this group was known as the Superhuman Feudal Warrior Squadron, or, in Japanese, The Chojinteki Sentai Kobushi (or as good as I can make it sound :x).
And yet... this man, this guy he had a short tangle with... supported him?
What a strange twist of fate! Ordinarily, people didn't quite bother to do such things with HM, as usually, he was considered the world's biggest asshole and a dysfunctional superhero, particularly due to his bizarre special attacks (which often backfired on him or would cause harm to himself), his laughable superpower, and a very pathetic demon-panda transformation.
Looking up from the card at the leaving man, he'd shout out to him, "W-wait! What makes you think I'd be that good? This isn't some kinda practical joke is it?"
(Kind of wondering if I ought to go through with using him for longer, as I sort of meant to use him as a one-time thing and for comical effect. XD He's not all that serious a character, as you can see... unless I can't figure out someone else to use, uwahaha~)

He ripped open a hole in space, turning around to see Hanyou.
"Your sword has no stability. Therefore, you will be in need of a proper blade. You can find it in the depths of Mt. Fuji. Overcome the demons and become a true warrior. For now, I'll be seeing you later. Let's go drinking sometime."
He walked into the dimensional hole, teleporting to his rooftop.
Odin appeared before him.
"Was it wise to allow such a man to use the Hiten-Asseisha? (Blazing Heaven Tyrant)" Odin asked, curious.
"It was made to become an equal to my blade. I think his explosive nature'll compliment it, that crazy bastard."
Odin just was like: What the hell.
Keisuke went to his room, immeidately shifting to normal form and went to sleep.

It then shrunk to the size of a penknife.
"HEY!!! Stupid sword! I told you to friggin' transform!!" Hanyouman then snorted and placed the sword back on his back and folded his arms into his sleeves, "...maybe I could use a better weapon."
Oni-Girl would soon rejoin him, "Aw, I got kicked outta Sears cause I blew up the tools section..."
"Aw, fuck, you dipshit... now we gotta run away before the police start getting suspicious."
"Okie-dokie~ <3"
"C'mon, let's get Sensukeman. Where the hell is that idiot?! We gotta go to Mt. Fuji or something."
"What for?"
"Some sword is there, some guy told me. Come on!"
And so, Hanyouman and Oni-Girl would head off! The old bum from earlier then cried out, "HEY! What about my bed?! You messed it up!"
(Yeah. Hmmm... I could stick with him for a while, till I figure out what else to do... XD)

"...Hello." Nalla had moved close enough to Blaze to hear him say "There is only power, and those to weak to seek it." Nalla nodded, agreeing with his statement. "I mean you no harm, of course." he said, hoping that the British man wouldn't see the need to attack him.
Altar also watched the battle between Mysterio and Flex from afar, interested to see what damage it would do to the city - undoubtedly a great amount of it. She didn't desire to get close enough to begin to negate the superpowers of the pair.

"Spooky things are happening!" Cried a female voice, it's owner having paused for a moment... she had been sweeping leaves away from the entrance to her cozy little Shinto shrine when she felt it... dark forces at work! Could it be... that evil has risen!?
Although she then took a moment to stop and think about why this didn't come to her sooner, and from there, got distracted..... at least for a couple minutes. She got her mind back on track and clutched the handle of her broom, "...I can't think about why this didn't come to me moments earlier... ah... but... I have to do something!"
This woman was, of course, a Shinto priestess. A miko, if you prefer. And like most mikos, she is cute, wore the typical white and red garbs and had long black hair. What is with all mikos having black hair? But there's no time for questions like that! This was a time for action!
Retreating into her shrine, she would proceed to prepare herself by changing to a more complex variant of her priestess costume, strapping belts to her waist, putting on gloves, a long scarf, a bandanna mask, and goggles on her head before grabbing her ohari wand, ofuda cards, and talismans, and would burst out the doors before flying into the air!
"Just to be sure... I'm going to see just what this could be. This might be a job for... uh... hm... me, I guess?"
Of course... she hasn't quite decided on a proper name for her alias yet. She's obviously a newbie at the superhero business... but there are reasons why she has chosen this alter ego.

Mysterio smiled and easily parried the blow away. "This is going to be fun!" he yelled as he dove in for a combination flame/super-strength punch straight to Flex's stomach. ((I'm going to lose track of what all I gave him...))
Sara saw the girl coming out of the building and tried to put the situation into words. "Uh, well, Flex, with the sword, is fighting for his life against Mysterio, who can shape-shift, apparently into more than one person at a time. Oh, and I'm Sara." She brought her palm to her face. "Who apparently likes just standing here while other people are getting killed." She quickly sent a bolt over to Mysterio, but it was deflected and sent straight back towards her and Aero, who Sara just managed to shove out of the way in time. "Dammit... This isn't going to be easy."

"Argh!" Flex was knocked back and considerably winded. Right, calm... calm down.
Ignoring the pain, Flex staggered to his feet, his sword clutched in clammy hands. He tightened his grip, and smiled. He opened his arms wide, welcoming the attack.

"Thanks." said Aero. She sighed. Somehow, she felt like her part was over, and that it was up to these new heroes now. She only just stopped herself saying, "In the old days..."
To hell with that! she thought, laughing out loud. She couldn't just sit there! "Time to show these youngsters how it's done." she said, erupting into a fit of giggles. Still laughing like mad, she stood beside Flex, arms open as his were.

"Ohh..." Finn grumbled as he awoke. "The hell is that guys problem?" holding his head, he stumbled out of the room and into the storm. He wasn't far from COCOA, and made his way towards there. He caught sight of Mysterio and felt elated, the twinkling lights of the city dancing in his dark eyes. He had never felt so... so alive. He gave a yell of joy and rushed towards the group. Suddenly, he pounced on Mysterio, grappling with him, and biting wherever he could. Flex began to slice with his burning sword, and Aero's swift form was seen flickering around Mysterio's body, offering quick and multiple blows.
To hell with safety.
To hell with holding back.
To hell with dying.
We just wanna have a good time.
((I have no idea what that was all about. I must be high. -_-))

With that said, she would simply float down to the rooftop of a building below her and watch the people she didn't know from there... Maybe I could learn something if I observe these guys...

Sara stepped back and watched the ensuing chaos. Wow... I never knew this was so... unorganized.
Mysterio crumpled under the attacks of the three. "ENOUGH!" he yelled, a blast consisting of fire, lightning, and strength knocking them clear off him. He walked over to where Finn was lying and stomped a foot hard onto his chest. "You have given me enough trouble! It ends here! Say goodbye to your girlfriend, 'cause she's mine now!"
"GET THE HELL OFF HIM!" A torrent of fire hit Mysterio straight in the face. Brenda ran onto the scene, her eyes wild and her hair dancing wildly in the wind of the storm.
"Hey, Bren, you're-"
"I DON'T GIVE A DAMN WHAT YOU THINK!"
"Well, then maybe I could change your mind." He sent out a bolt, sending her flying off. He ran back and blasted the pavement an inch from Finn's face. "One wrong move, and he's dead, Bren! Leave the stupid flying fish, come back to me, and he'll stay alive!"
"No..." she whispered. "I already made the wrong move... trusting an idiot like you."
Yes...
"You've hurt me, you've hurt my friends, you're threatening my boyfriend's life. This has got to end. It will end..."
Brenda rose up in the air, flames licking her entire body.
"Ahh... freedom. Thank you, child. I suppose I should do something for you..." A wave of a hand, a blast of fire, and ashes fell upon Finn. "But I must have my fun, you know..."
There was no stopping it now, no takebacks, no second chance. The Phoenix was free.

This was one of the things that tended to get her into problems. She was often too curious for her own good. She crept over to a closer building to observe the goings-ons and took note that someone had become bathed in flames... or at least, that's what it seemed like. It was the woman's red hair swirling around in the air that gave her that impression.
She kept herself quiet though, as she continued to watch the series of events unfold safely behind a nearer building. She had no idea who these people were, or what they were, for that matter... she also had no idea if she should really be here or not, or if she's just plain asking for trouble.
On the other hand, the craziness of it all wasn't really taking any toll on her... she was already pretty used to that kind of stuff happening already anyhow. Somewhat.

Silence, death and the shadows. All this one knew, all this one was. A mere mask floating on a rather liquid substance yet it flowed with life. A shadowy hand removed the mask, causing it to disappear and the liquid form to shift into a solid, humanoid form. Dressed in a rather strange attire. Black leather jacket that had the words: "All Souls Burning" on the back with a white star above it in a blue circle. A pair of dark denim jeans and brown boots were worn by the man as well. He wielded solely his fists as Keisuke did (until going Blood Savior), but in a rather shadowy fashion. This silver haired man was a servant to Keisuke. This man... was an assassin loyal to his master. A loyal man until his death. Even then, he would still protect him from beyond the dead. He has always been by Keisuke's side since he was a small child. He was a family guardian. A Blood Savior Guard. Although he was a wise-ass and tended to act like a complete jerk, he never fought with Keisuke fist to fist until he was challenged, which he was on a daily basis. Only person to match him, and only person to ever do so. However, he served as a guard by choice because he felt like Keisuke was a brother.
"Hmph. Stupid's gone and probably scared some chick. Lucky bastard, I wanted to do that. I'll just have to do without... but not without kicking someone in the face."
He immediately shot forth using the speed that granted him such power. A foot extended toward his target (Mysterio), launching a heavy blazing boot to the face of an unsuspecting victim. Once it hit, it would then launch him to the nearest wall, slamming his head straight into it. After that happened, he unzipped his jacket, revealing a scarred torso.
"Kicking someone while they're down is a job of a jerk, and I'm the only jerk around here and it had better stay that way."
Keisuke saw that coming. His own Brother In Arms would just pop up out of nowhere. And kick someone in the face. He always did that. Made him proud of having such an awesome brother to be a Blood Savior.
"Hah. Always kicking people in the face. Never anywhere else."

Despite being an anthro, Sensukeman did used to be human once...

"GOD, SHUT THE FUCK UP. I think our creator made a mistake giving you a mouth. He probably should have put an extra tail there or something. Anyways, we need to get to Mt. Fuji or something. Let's get Oni-Girl and get outta this shithole."
"Mt. Fuji? Interesting. Cool. Let's go get her with epic coolness."
"Now where'd I leave her..."
