"Yeah, yeah. I'll have to arrest her eventually," Mike said, handcuffing Richard. "At least you accomplished your goal. And, yes. I'll make sure this method gets around. Nobody should ever die because of this thing again." It was quite ironic. In the end, there was definitely some good in Richard. Mike smiled at that realization. A man who killed so many people actually was good deep down.

During the interview, Mike couldn't help but reflect on what happened. How Richard saved his life after almost killing him in the first place. And what he said about doctors. It made sense, but there was still no reason to kill them. He thought about anything that would stop him from thinking about Marietta and how he would have to fight her, whether he wanted to or not. He clutched the documents tightly as the reporter finished the interview.

Marietta loved Mike, but she had to leave him for good, she had to kill him, but she couldn´t , she did the only thing she could, she looked a way to accusse Mike of corruption, with her links, it was a rather simple thing to do anyway...

Mike was blissfully unaware he was being accused of corruption as he walked down the desolate street to Marietta's house. If she wasn't there right then, she would be soon. It was her home. Mike knocked on the door, hoping for an answer.

Mike was slightly unnerved as he went into Marietta's house. She did just save his life, after all. He turned to her.
"Hi, Marietta. I-I wanted...to thank you for helping me out back there. Y-you really saved me," Mike said.

Mike smiled and got up. "I would arrest you...If I could," he said. "All the evidence concerning the Guilty Eater has 'disappeared.' So, the only way I could arrest you now is if you attacked me first. Besides, there are two other serial killers out there and important documents to deliver. I don't have enough time to gather any evidence until you kill again." He started to leave.

The next day the press started a big scandal ¨MIKE BLUNT CORRUPT OFFICER¨ and so there was a big story about evidence forge and police brutality, all about his was cortesy of Marietta, and there was not much time until he got fired...

"You wanted to see me, sir?" he asked.

"This," she replied, slamming a newspaper on her desk. Mike saw the headline: MIKE BLUNT, CORRUPT OFFICER. He read the article.
"W-whaaat?! Surely you don't believe any of this. It's completely outrageous. I've never done anything like..."
"Mike," Mariah interrupted. "It doesn't matter whether I believe you or not. The rest of the world won't. I'm sorry, but I'm going to have to ask you to turn in your badge."
Mike stood there, stunned. "Please, no! There are killers out there, and you can't afford to lose any more personnel. Please." Mariah ripped his badge off his shirt.
"Get out of my sight," she said. "Or I'll kick you out myself." Mike walked away, and couldn't believe that just happened.

"Hm...The Artist," Mariah said. "Well, they are similar. All right, go talk to Richard." Then, she heard a knock at the door. "Excuse me for just one moment." She opened the door, expecting to see an officer with case files. Instead, journalists from everywhere, it seemed, were all standing before her, asking questions that all jumbled together to the point where she couldn't understand what they were asking.
"I assure you, the corrupt cop, Mike, has been fired from the force. He will never cause any trouble again. Now, I don't believe this is the conventional way to interview. I'll hold a press conference later and we can discuss it then." A bunch of voices blended together.
"Look, it's already hectic in here without you guys slowing everything down. Get out of here. Unless you want these ruthless killers to get away." There were groans from all reporters, but they all walked away.

Mike stared at the card for a long while, debating whether or not he should throw it away. In the end, he decided to keep it. He never knew if he would need the number, but if the man had the same aura as Richard, chances were he'd have to call him eventually. Mike went to his house, and sighed, defeated. He was fired from the one job he actually cared about. What would he do now?

Marietta would not leave mike starving without job, she of course used her links, and so a big job offer in London was at the mail, it offered probably a 10 times bigger salary and he was going to receive a nice apartment and a car from the beggining, ¨I don´t think he is going to accept but I had to try¨ she said to herself and continued looking at the crime scene

Mike checked his mail automatically when he got home. He looked at the envelopes, and saw bill after bill. Then, he saw...A job offer? In London? He opened the envelope and read the contents. Woah! That's a lot more than what I get paid, Mike thought. Or, rather, what I used to be paid. He looked at the letter again. On one part, it read, "Please mail back. Check one. Accept or Not accepted. Thank you." Mike checked the second one. After all, there were too many killers to ignore.

"All I know about the Guilty Eater is that whoever they are has connections," Mike lied.
"That's not all you know!" Mariah exclaimed. "We both know it."
"Look, even if I told you what I know, there is no evidence to support my claim," Mike said.
"Even so, please tell me what you know," Mariah begged. There was a pause. "Please! People are dying!"
"Maybe you should have thought of that before firing me over media garbage- er, gossip!" Mike snapped. There was an ominous tone in his voice. Another pause. This one longer. "I'm sorry, Mariah. You won't believe me. I know who the Guilty Eater is. Marietta."
"Marietta?! I don't believe you!!"
"Whatever floats your boat." Mike hung up and continued working on his costume.

Mariah was pail. The phone conversation with Mike earlier made her uneasy. Would he become a killer, too? And was he telling the truth when he said Marietta was the 'Guilty Eater?' She decided she had no choice but to trust Mike. She got on her walkie-talkie. "Find Marietta and arre-" she was cut off.
"No!" a voice screamed. Mike's voice. "She's more than a match for either of them."
"Then I guess I'll just have to bust her myself."
"No! Mariah!" There was only static on the other side. Mike looked at the shabby costume he didn't quite finish/ It'll have to do, he thought. I can't let Mariah die. He put the costume on and set out to find Marietta.

Marietta was drinking a coffee with Julian, she felt atracted to him by some reason and he was atracted to her too ¨So you are the prosecution chief around here, I heard they call you The angel of death, because you always get death` penalties¨ Marietta laughed ¨And the artist with the most disturbing paints is the one who is going to tell me that I´m a bloody Mary¨.

Last Mariah knew, Marietta was investigating The Artist. Sighing, Marietta went over to the detention center to see Richard.

Mike saw an article about The Artist, and saw the picture. Hm...Wings. Like what Richard would do... he thought. Mike wanted to avoid seeing Richard at any cost. Then, a thought occurred to him. The man gave him that feeling. The feeling his instincts gave him around a killer. Maybe he knew something about The Artist. Mike pulled out the business card, and called Julian.
