"You expect me to tell the truth, yet you're saying you won't believe it?" Jasmine asked. "That's a little hypocritical. But, I will tell you my motives, and they will be the absolute truth. But you might not like what you hear. I'll gladly take a polygraph test if you don't believe me.
"I used to love Stefan. He was a very good man...Or so I thought. He and my sister, Elicia, got married. They looked ecstatic to be together. But then...Two years later..." I can't tell the specifics again. "Two years later, Stefan murdered her, and he was tried. The jury acquitted him, even though there was no way he could be innocent." Tears formed in Jasmine's eyes at this point, but she blinked them back. "And, thanks to double jeopardy, he can never be tried again for the murder of Elicia. I can't very well wait for him to commit another crime, so I'm taking justice in my own hands...By cutting his brakes."

"W-WHAT?!" Jasmine screamed. "I n-never killed a-anyone. The woman was someone I knew well as the one who killed OUR parents!!!" She burst into tears at that moment, but she didn't know why. She sighed and calmed herself back down. The tears stopped.
"There's nothing else you need to know. He killed my sister, so I tried to kill him. Whatever his motivation was doesn't matter. Go ahead and arrest me for attempted murder. I don't care anymore."

Jasmine looked at all the graves. It was quiet as nobody was around. The trees blew around ominously. Jasmine knelt in front og one of the graves. "Stormy. Died at age 25. Married to Stefan Lingram. Sister of Jasmine." It looked almost as if those words were scratched on.
"Sister. I failed you. I failed Mom. I failed...Justice," Jasmine said, tears forming in her eyes. "What do I do now? Where do I go from here?"

"It was almost by accident. I wanted to take a picture of Stefan's car careening off a cliff...I'm not sure why, but he was saved by Mira and some other guy. So, I took a picture of the two when they were about to get into the car in the background," Jasmine said. Ironic that I'm showing this to an assassin.
