"Mara's got a point, even a solider has to show mercy now and then, especially if the opponent is some stupid kid..." He held is Gunblade at his side,
"Besides, if I were to beat you up it would stain the name of the Citizen's Army of Midgar, just leave now before you become an issue that I have to resolve with force." He smirked,
"and if that does happen, there wont be a girl round to save your butt." He then turned to Mara.

Riss's steps were slower, lacking her usual enthusiasm as she pondered over what had happened in the past while. Today had been interesting enough...
She pulled out her notepad and reviewed the facts.
1. Met a swordsman who killed a troll on his own. Worth watching out for?
2. Met a weirdo who knew way more than he should. Definitely needed to look out for. Talk to Wei.
3. Heard about a group of scientists that apparently had been playing around behind Deepground's back. Quality technology. Worth looking out for.
4. Still needed film.
5. And a new notepad.
Realizing she had fallen behind, she lightly jogged after Rein until she could see his back. Unconsciously, she thought back to what he had said when she had jokingly asked him if he regretted his offer.
"I don't regret my offer, if you are some "evil" thing it isnt my business, if your not attacking me or someone I care for then It's your life."
Something that might be worth filing away from later. Among other things.
But in the mean time, she was Riss Brea, reporter and photographer of Wei R. Freud's Timely News. And as a reporter, she liked anything that could lead to a story (and thus help her live a bit longer). Like loud noises.
She pulled up behind the stopped Rein and tilted her head toward the woods and the muffled sounds from there. "Sounds like a possibly interesting detour, if you don't mind me saying. Aren't you dying to see what happened?"
