Ryan went into Javin's ship and sat on a recliner. He had to admit that the ship was far more luxurious than his was. Being an assassin must rake in lots of money... Ryan thought. And now I will be the assassin's accomplice. The law which I worked so hard to uphold my whole life... I'm going to break it. And perhaps even have my friends attack me. Try to stop me. And they will never know how much better off I am facing them than doing the alternative.

You're thinking too much. Read the file once Javin's done and stop worrying what everyone else will do. Ryan sighed, drumming his fingers as he waited for Javin to finish reading their future victim's file.

"Then I guess we'll have to do some snooping around to find the information. I'm sure there are pictures of loved ones, perhaps info. on his computers, and things of that nature. It won't be too hard," Ryan said. "Oh, and I'll have to forge a suicide note. Nothing difficult, though." Just thinking about going through someone else's belongings and copying their handwriting is enough to make my stomach churn. But, I have to do it. Just think of it as a crime scene investigation... He sighed, then started taking deep breaths to calm himself. Yelling at that bounty hunter usually calms me down, but it won't work this time...

...I can't believe he actually enjoys doing this... Ryan thought. And I'm the one who has to do the second worst part...Lie about a man's death. Forge evidence so as to throw the police department off. It's not as bad as actually killing him, but it's still disgusting.

Javin knelt down and laughed as the kids crowded around them. The younger kids had all surged to the front, while the older kids bounced up and down trying to see him. The adults were all coming out of their homes and grinning. Once the children had gone back to their exersises, with just the occasional glance, a man stepped forward and laughed "So you're back." Javin smirked "'course I am. I always come back."

Okay. These guys don't really know the nature of this man's work. If they did... They probably wouldn't revere him as a hero, Ryan thought. He remained silent throughout this whole ordeal, for he didn't want to screw anything up. Even though I hate the idea of working with Javin and the idea of taking lives for money, it seems as if these people think he's a good person. There's always time later to interrogate him.

Ryan couldn't believe his ears. All these people...What kind of people were they? Knowing Javin's an assassin, and supporting him? What's wrong with this place? He did his best to hide his disgust as he stood still, like a statue. He only dared move when Javin made to leave.

Ryan sighed as Javin was dragged off by Lira. He dared not imagine what "cost" she was imagining. Perhaps it would be best to try to talk to someone? Ryan guessed it couldn't hurt as he turned to Jack.
"Selling secrets, huh?" he asked casually. He had no clue what else to say as he thought about how Jack said they "selected" assassins. Did the police really support this? And how would they decide which ones should become assassins? All planets are different, but this is just ridiculous.
