When Tina was invited to join the party of three, she happily accepted. "And I can be a guide, too! I've always gone around the village giving some of my cookies, so I know the village almost as well as Ms. Lola!" Then remembering what she had earlier, she asked, Um, Mr. Layton? About the box that I showed you earlier..." She brought out the box from a pocket in her dress, and handed it to him, then continued, "What exactly is this?"

"So this is to be delivered to Mayor Hastings?" Layton asked, turning the peice of paper over. On that side was a note that even Layton could not read. It was messy, the ink was blotched everywhere, and it was burnt to a crisp in some places. He handed the peice of paper round, seeing if anyone could make sense of the strange scribble.

After the professor read the calendar, the group went down the hallway and knocked on the door, when they found a small note attached to the door. "Answer this riddle before you enter!" it said. Tina read the puzzle aloud.

Flora woke up in the morning and went to the Reinhold Manor. She then went into the dining room and greeted Matthew. "Good morning!" she said. "Is Lady Dahlia awke yet?" "Yes, Miss Flora," Matthew responded rather bleakly. "Would you like to join her for tea, or will you eat in the tower?" Flora sighed, as she disliked her stepmother very much. "I think I'll be eating in the tower for today," she responded, and went back along the alley.

"WHAT? This is old...this was suppossed to be here 60 years ago...when I was one year old, before the trouble*A-HEM*...you've heard enough. Now clear off, the lot of you!" She said, then slammed the door shut.
"Before the trouble...? What could that possibly mean? " Layton asked. No-one here was old enough to be 60, surely. Lola definetley did not look over 60...and of course Tina wouldn't know. Maybe they would ask around and see if the older people knew anything...

After Flora ate her breakfast with Bruno, she proceeded to the transmission room. She took the "control box" in her hands and pressed another button, this one labeled "invisible". She then expected the group to stare at her like before, but this time, they didn't even take a glance. "Now this is odd. Why aren't they taking notice? I like it better this way though," Flora remarked. "Hm, they seem to be outside of that large room where they were yesterday."

Xavier stepped into his room, and flopped into his chair. These newcomers, the early werewolf attacks, a citizen leaving... nothing was right, and he had an idea of who was screwing with him. He looked to his picasso'ed calendar, and searched for the next waning phase. "Pfft, next week. I'm sure they won't wait that long. I never did... why would they?" He sighed and stood up. Funny, I haven't seen sight nor sound from the mayor, or the visitors. Please... please let them find boredom amongst this town. I don't need all of this." He decided to pace around town and play treasure hunt with the mayor.

"Mr. Xavier's house is actually just beside Ms. Lola's store, so she should know better than anyone, right, Ms. Lola?" Tina then asked with a smile. Lola replied, "Right you are, Tina! He always greets me before work, and so does his wife!" After walking along the road, they stopped at Lola's stall, and waited for the professor to ring the doorbell.

"Ah, thanks for that, Lola," the Professor told her, smiling. Then, he took the letter for Mr. Xavier from his pocket, and approached the door. He knocked thrice, and waited from an answer.

"I don't know if you know, but Joshua the postman left. We are the new postpeple, and this letter is for you." He said, smiling.
"So...do you mind telling me about that letter? It looks quite important to me..." Layton said, trying to act 'chatty' rather than nosy, as he didn't want to appear

"That wasn't very polite of Mr. Xavier," Tina remarked. "But I guess he's a busy man. And speaking of business, I have an errand to run right now. Good luck with delivering the letters, Mr. Layton!" she said gleefully, and walked along the main street. She then turned a corner, leading to the back of Xavier's house. Then, she knocked on the door in a peculiar pattern and inserted a piece of paper under the back door. "I hope he actually comes down to get the letter," she whispers. "The guild leader would be disappointed if he didn't"

"Well, so much for that plan." Layton said, his hat covering his eyes as it often did when he was sad.
"Well, I suppose he is just very busy, like Tina said." He continued, pulling out another letter.
"Well, this letter is to a Mr. Lucas." Layton said, smiling. "He lives nearby. Come on, we should probably deliver it." He finished, walking off with the letter in hand. Then, he spotted a Well.
"That reminds me of a puzzle...care to have a go, anyone?" Layton said, smiling.
Also, please TRY to work it out, don't hit the solution button. I actually tried to work this one out :)

Luke excclaimed, raising his arm, then counting with his fingers, "It would take 30 days and 30 nights, but if you count, the snail reaches the top of the well in the day of the 28th day. If the puzzle asked when the snail would stay at the top of the well, with no chance of going back, then that would be in the 30th night." He smirked, and crossed his arms. Layton rapped on the door, and Ruby answered.
"Hello? Layton? What are you doing here with joshua's post?" She asked.
"Joshua left. We deliver Mail for him." Layton explained, smiling.
