"You might not have known this, but...that challenge determined your groups. Whoever hit the ground first in your pair is in the yellow team, and will live in the lap of luxury in the hotel. If you hit the ground second in your pair, you are in the blue team, and will live in the jungle. Howl, I understand you jumped solo. And Elise didn't jump at all. So you get to pick which team you stay in, each of you." The Owl said.

"What?! I wanted to stay in the jungle!" Yelled Lloyd, his green hair bouncing up and down as he stomped on the floor. He always did that when he didn't get his way.

Rewinding a bit backward....

"Thanks. I would do it on paper but I left that on the plane. Didn't want all my drawings flying out my pocket, would I?" Lloyd said in reply to Christine. Then he asked everyone, "Hey all, where do you hope we're staying?" "I'd prefer anywhere in the Grunchio Forest or by the coastline," Christine said to them. "Oh, and Grunchio may have a few small cities, but not even close to the cities like New York or Tokyo."

After a bit of conversation, Karoline said to the group, "We're all in this together?! What a cheesy stupid line! Everyone is here to win. Everyone has the game plan! We'll soon be backstabbing everyone. I try to be realistic about this, don't underesimate me!" "Actually," Christine cut in, "I wasn't here to win. I live on Isle Grunchio, and when I saw that they were going to hold a survival challenge, I joined for the fun and the adventure. I don't care about prized anyway," she said, adjusting her glasses.

When the Owl announced the instructions, Lloyd complained immediately. Obviously he wanted the adventure as well. "Mr. Owl? Isn't this unfair for half of the players? This is supposed to be a survival and adventure challenge. It doesn't present any fun for the Yellow Team if they are just stuck inside a hotel room," Christine stated, not knowing where this argument would go.

((Eh, why does this always happen? I mean things going too fast when I leave for even one day. Yes, I know it's the time difference, but it's annoying trying to catch up every time. But it's fun anyway, so.... :keiko:

Whether you win or lose the challenge determines whether you either stay in the hotel, the jungle, the amount of money you will add to the team pot, and if you gain an exemption. That means you cannot be voted for, for people with a small vocabulary." the owl explained.

((Two things. The players can vote for who goes out if they wish. They can vote for themselves to go out if u want to leave... AND, how will we decide who wins the challenge? I guess whoever feels their character can do it or not. Don't make yourself win every time, thats boring.))

Howl closed his eye and rubbed his chin, deep in thought. "Hotel, or the low-life... One I can get rid of Eric ASAP, the other I can pick off the easy ones and hold my own. But which? Risk getting voted by the Wall, or risk playing solo on a team? Caviar and steaks, or plants and each other..." Howl played all of his options through his mind, and realized that there was a second way to pile-drive through this game. "I could demolish the Wall's ego through the challenges, and pick their strongest guy off." He spoke swiftly to announce his team decision. "I'll become part of the jungle team."

He gave his usual glare. "What about it? Why wuss out to the easy life? Whose to say that the Owl won't do something to the hotel to boost ratings, like flooding the whole thing out, including the contestants, or burning the thing down?" 'Dang, I'm rollin with this...' He thought as he was speaking. "Then everyone who took the hotel would look like pushovers since they were just pushed out of their own hotel..." He then stepped closer to Lenobia, and spoke through a whisper, keeping his conversation from being heard. "That, and someone has to take out Eric."

Finally understanding his reasoning, Lenobia's eyes widened ever so slightly and she nodded. Of course. The mystery of Howl had her constantly guessing, and she found that intriguing. It will certainly be interesting having him on my team. Turning to Karoline, Lenobia folded her arms. "No, thanks. I'm happy with my placement." She pulled herself up to her full height and looked down at the teen, as if daring her to argue.

Howl stood and took the upward force at his face. He planted his feet and stood still as blood ran from his nose and slight blood ran from his mouth. He glanced at everyone, and wiped the blood away with his sleeve, and simply walked away.

Lenobia chewed her lip slightly, though she admired Howl's logic and courage. His stoic appearance was heightened by the challenging gleam in his eye, and she couldn't help but flush slightly at the sheer excitement of the situation he had presented. As Karoline leapt at him, she instincively took a step forwards, but stopped herself before she dived into the situation. Howl can handle an annoying child, she assured herself. As Howl turned and walked away, Lenobia's face flushed again. Such a resolution... She always had been one for the mysterious guys. Great.

Lenobia almost had to physically stop herself from wrinkling her nose. Karoline really was growing more and more annoying, what with her 'I'm so great' attitude and attacking of Howl for no real reason. Ah, well. Hopefully the public will see what I do. Seeing Howl walking away, Lenobia quickly caught up to him, conscious of the medical kit she had in her bag. "Are you all right?" she said quietly.

Feeling a smile rise to her own features, she held the gauze out for the prosecutor. "I suppose. Though you are already pretty intimidating. You know," she said, trying to cheer him up. "You should smile more often."

Howl ignored the outcry to 'kill himself'. He took the gauze and noticed Lenobia slightly smiling. He quickly snapped his glance forward. Don't blush... dammit don't blush. He felt his face becoming warmer than the blood that flowed on it. He quickly removed his scarlet ladened hand from his face and placed the pads of gauze on it. "... I'll let you handle the smiling. Right now I need to map out exactly where we are... because if one of us," He jabbed his thumb backwards at the female insulter, "goes 'Texas Chainsaw' on this island... I need to know where safe points are."
