"No clue, just rezlized about this myself, besides I just called 911 and when I told the lady about that cloud of smoke she hanged up without a reason" said Wanacoba as he putted his cellphone back in his pocket.

"I'm kinda worried, that's not too far away from here, we should head to the police sattion, it's not too far away... um, by the way, My name is Wanacoba, nice to meet you". Then he offered his hand for a handshake.

"Aah!" Tap yelled in shock as he stumbled back after glancing at his bench, or more specifically, at a seismograph V2. It was an invention he added more too and now, it not only printed the records of the earthquakes, but more details such as location, where it originated, etc. He saw that SV2 had printed out that the earthquake was an anomaly.

"I need to contact the Board!" Dr. Tap said as he pulled the records printed out of the machine, put on his coat then rushed outside the labatory, running to the offices of where he knew that this information would be greatly appreciated.

((Woo, Dr. Tap has made another appearance.))

"Okay, car it is then." DeMat replied. While they left, he waved at Jeff.
"Wait," he said, stopping. "my bike is here, and my apartment is too far away. ...Um, Jeff?"
Jeff heard him from some feet away. "What's up, man?"
"Can you take care of my bike? It'll be just a minute."
"Yeah, no prob."
"Great, thanks!" DeMat excclaimed, and turned to Wanacoba. "Let's go now."

After some minutes of driving, Wanacoba and DeMat arrived at the police station. They both got out of the car, and entered the building.
"Um, good morning." DeMat told the man behind the counter. "We think there's something really weird going on, and..." He noticed the man was staring at him, disbelief in his face. "...is there someone that cares in this place?"
The officer took his time to answer. Well, he didn't even answer, he just handed DeMat a card.
"Wh-what is this?" he asked. The officer simply pointed at the name in the card.
"Detective Meenyman... Criminal affairs? How does criminal affairs relate to this?" Again, the officer simply pointed, this time at the number below the name.
"...Okay, thank you." For nothing. Then, DeMat and Wanacoba exited the station.

When they were outside the police station, DeMat pulled his cellphone from his pocket. "Well, we should try calling this detective Meenyman." he told Wanacoba. "It's the only thing we have right now." He shruged.

((Just trying to link some of the heroes together before Angel recruits us all :P

While he waited Wanacoba told De Matador: "So, what do you think they gave us a cellphone number of a detective instead of attending to our emergency?" Then...

Measurement! I need to find a seizmograph, then I can find the origin of it. Artifical earthquake or real earthquake... that's the question.

Around half an hour later, Shadow came across a metalic building. A name plate by the door read "Dr. Ptapcc - Scientist"

And here I am! Brilliant!

He knocked once on the door, for it to swing open. And it seems he forgot to shut the door. He entered the lab. Throwing his coat onto a chair, he looked around. "Hello?" he called. No answer. He called again. Still no answer. "Hmm..."

((Hmmm...since Meenyman's a detective, I'll go one up and make myself Chief of Police ^_^ It'll be useful to have a hero with connections))

This just had to happen on my day off.... thought Police Chief Panda Prinzessin moodily, as she made her excuses to her capoeira teacher and rushed off to change. She'd taken up the martial art in her spare time and thought today a perfect opportunity to get in some extra training. Minutes later, in more professional attire, Panda approached the police station to see two people looking rather disgruntled, waiting outside and could only assume they were the civilians whom she'd just received the phone call about.

"Excuse me. I believe I just received a phone call from Reception about reports of "something weird going on", which fit with events we've observed both today and in the past few weeks. If you don't mind, I'd like to take you in for questioning." she said pleasantly.

Dr Tap rushed down the streets of Lawville ((couldn't think of a better name!)) in his porsche, speeding through red lights as he held the data from the seismograph in one of his hands. ((He was driving with one hand- reckless doctor huh?)) He needed to get this information to the Board quickly! A few moments later, the grand white building was visible. He sighed in relief and quickly pulled up in front of it, rushing out of his car as he ran into the building, yelling.

"Quickly! Get the Board together. This is an emergency!" he yelled as he flayed the document around as chaos erupted in the room.

A message bleeped up on Panda's phone. Oh dear God. Is this guy INSANE? More importantly, was there really anything they could do about it? Police procedures were long and full of paperwork and since they only had a week.... We don't even know the villain's name or appearance. The only thing we can do is trace the broadcast and try to find him, but he'll probably have moved by then... "Actually, forget that." she said to the two civilians. "It seems there are more urgent problems at hand. I'm sorry to have bothered you." Is it possible that I could work independently from the police? I'd have inside information and the best contacts. Just something to consider, I guess...

Whaaa... thought Shadow, having heard the madman's demands. A week...? He's mad. Insane. Certifiably nuts. First, I've got to grab the earthquake record off the seizmograph.

He hit a button on the seizmograph, so it printed another copy of the data. He folded and shoved the data into his pocket, and ran out of the lab in a hurry, grabbing his coat.

Right, better get to the city. he thought as ran towards his "mode of transportation"...

Suddenly, a policewoman approached. "Excuse me. I believe I just received a phone call from Reception about reports of "something weird going on", which fit with events we've observed both today and in the past few weeks." she told them. "If you don't mind, I'd like to take you in for questioning."
"Um, yeah, sure." DeMat replied. "Wait, who are y-?"

"Wait, wait," DeMat tried to stop her, "what's going on? Do you know anything about this?" He turned to Wanacoba, who was still on the phone, and hesitated. Then, he turned back to the policewoman. "If there's going to be an investigation, we'd like to help. I'm DeMat, and this here is Wanacoba."

A voice blared from the Square of the town. He perked his ears towards the sound, closing in on the last bit of speech.

"So! If the world still wants to continue, I DEMAND that I become the ruler of the world! But don´t worry... I give you ONE WEEK to think about it!"

He huffed it off. "Been there, done that, never works. Good lu--" Then it clicked. His sentence... the group... "Heroes"... that message. He groaned. "Well, here's to the beginning of 900 hours..." He figured seeing how the judge said something to him about the government... most likely, that creep has had encounters with the government... and he'd have to do something to defeat that person giving the speech. If all followed suit, he'd have to be a hero against this 'World dominator'. Well, if it got him his base and Wolfen back, he'd do pretty much anything. He clicked around on his scanner (HMD) and searched for the closest broadcast location; west of the Square. It frequeated with a stronger broadcast than at the Square, so it was closer to the head cast. Aimlessly, again, he began walking towards the new broadcast.

Dragon got back and called one of her sponsors.
"Yeah, it's done. I'm ready for a long break now." She walked into her kitchen and drew up a plan for her newest project, and made some coffee. It was getting to be a long day, and she needed to sleep. But she instead stayed up for the rest of the night, drawing and computing.

After entering the city, Shadow headed for his base. He unlocked the doors and ran in and placed the Seizmograph data on the computer. There we are... now that should trace the hit-point of the virus that caused the earthquake.

He ran out, locked the doors, and headed into the grand white building next to him. The Board HQ. A goverment building that concentrated on protecting the Earth.

He entered just in time to find a white haired man screaming, "Quickly! Get the Board together. This is an emergancy!"

Wanacoba was still trying to rech the detective when: "Hello, Detective Meenyman speaking.. How may I help you?" It was finally trhe detective.

"Hey De mat I reached for that detective" Whispered Wanacoba before saying:

"Well... not that much, just now another policewoman came to us because she had a call because of us apparently she had other business 'cause she ran right to the police station after checking her cellphone..." Wanacoba tried to understand why did they have to talk to him yet. "Hey by the way, do you know anything yourself about it? It looks like something came up in t.v just now, some people in the street are talking about it".

"Well, I've been so busy I haven't had time to watch some T.V. I just started my break, so..."
Meenyman decided to turn on the T.V., to the news channel.
The news reporter said, "Today's weather will be +10 degrees, with a low chance of rain."

"No, I don't want the weather!"

Two seconds later, the news broadcast had been interrupted by breaking news, about something Wanacoba described about.

Meenyman said to Wanacoba, "Well, I just turned on the T.V., I see it now. But something is suspicious, I have been investigating that area a couple of days ago. Could it be a coincidence? Then again, when I was searching that area, the crime was just a mere cat stuck on the tree...."

"I'll try to get clearance from the chief of police to investigate that area, and I'll see what I can do for you, how does that sound?"

"Actually that's awesome, I'll be here at the police station waiting, thanks detective" Finally he felt like someone was doing something about it.

"Well, Demat, I talked to this Meenyman guy and he told me he was also investigating that place not long ago because of a different case, now he'll come here, we can wait for him" He started walking inside the police station and turned: "Well, if you want you can go home you can call me later to check what happened, here's my number" He wrote in a piece of paper his cellphone number and then he waited for his answer.

Meenyman hanged up the phone.
"Heh, shortest break ever. But something's wrong, and if someone doesn't do anything about it, I just know something bad is going to happen. I mean it's a big buff of smoke!"

Meenyman walked out of his office and entered the elevator, which was not too far from his office.
He pressed the button, and waited for the elevator to arrive.
While waiting for the elevator's arrival, he wondered to himself.
"Hmm, I wonder what caused this smoke. Could it be just a fire? Probably not, otherwise they would contact the fire department."

The elevator doors opened as soon as Meenyman finished his thoughts, and entered the big metal box, pressing the button which took the elevator to the Chief of Police's office.

"Alright, the only thing that stands in my way is permission, and it's the permission from the Chief herself. I hope this doesn't take too long, I don't want to keep Wanacoba waiting..."

"What is it, what's wrong!?" Shadow asked the old man, as chaos began to erupt in the room. People were screaming, believing that the world was ending. All those who hadn't seen or heard the broadcast simply looked on in confusion at the screaming people.

Shadow watched as the civilians poured out of the Board. Then finally, it was just Shadow and the old-white haired man.

"Incredible... I've never a group evacuation happen so fast!" said Shadow, shocked. Then he turned to the scientist. "So... who are you, then? I'm Shadow. Shadow Edgeworth." he smied.

"Hello there, I was wondering if the Chief is at her office right now. If she is, may I speak to her?"

The secretary replied, "Yes, right this way. She's in her office right now."

Meenyman walked to the Chief's office.

Dr. Ptapcc tapped (no pun intended) his foot on the elevator floor as it went up to the Conference room. He had just learned that they were waiting for him, so with data in hand, he waited and decided to reminiscence about what had just happened a few seconds ago. He had been confronted by a strange man but someone came and told him that he was to get on the elevator so he never got a chance to introduce himself. Shaking his head of that thought, he waited until finally, Ptapcc reached the top floor. Basically running out of the door, he rushed to the conference room, only to be stopped by a guard. ((I'll be acting out them as well- I am assuming that Board HQ will be as Shadow said, Dr. Ptapcc's version of M-16 :edgy:

"Name?"" asked a rough voice. Dr. Ptapcc gulped as he looked at the guard who towered over him.

"Good Afternoon Doctor. Could you explain why you called an emergency meeting? The Chairman of the Board said from his seat at the far end of the table.

((Okay, so far, here is a recap of what my character has done. He started out in his office in Lawville but when the earthquake shook, he saw that his seismograph printed out data that said it was an anomaly. With this knowledge, he has rushed to the Board HQ and called a meeting.))

((Here is a map of the Conference room, including who is seating where. The Chief of Police of Lawville is currently missing due to unknown circumstances...well according to Dr. Tap.

It took years, many years, but the evil power of the Spiderdemon (Just call me that for the RP :P) eventully managed to hack it self awake, it's red light's quickly flicker on, being in a strange circle, it lifts it self up, to make some mechanical steps and walks around it's circle.

She pulled a printed form from her desk drawer and scribbled a signature, then handed it to Meenyman."That should do it.But please be as discreet as possible and when you're done, report back to Board HQ. Dr Tap's called a meeting. I would dig out your firearms permit if I were you as well. We're still unsure exactly what we're up against." Finishing the conversation, Panda slipped on her coat and picking up her handbag, walked outside to her car and within a few minutes was walking up the steps to Board HQ.

Meenyman listened to Panda's response carefully.

"Thank you so much for the permission, and very impressive, how did you know why I was coming up here? I'll make sure to report back."

Meenyman took the permission slip with Panda's signature, and dashed to pick up Wanacoba.

After a few minutes, he arrived at the front of the police station, seeing Wanacoba and someone with him.

Hearing this message, the Captain said, "Villains are getting more devious each day.". The Captain, a half-cyborg because of a recent mission, touched the screen to view the mission file. After reading through it, she said to the computer, "Computer, please open the files of the new recruits. Immediately, eight trained individuals with unique abilities appeared on the screen. The Captain pressed a large blue button with the word, RECRUIT, on it, which sent a message to each of the new Heroes, which only they could recognize.

"Let the adventure...begin."

I've been away for far too long.
