Jay had worked his way to the gallery area. He had wanted to sit where he could get the best view of both sides, so he decided on a seat directly across from the defense's bench so he had a view of at least that side, the witness stand, and the judge's bench. I'm glad I made this..." Jay said kinda to himself, and kinda aloud. "Y'know, I have an attorney's badge as well?" Jay took his attorney's badge out of his case and showed it to Vi. "Yeah, but I decided on detective work because I like investigating and using scientific methods. Plus, I'm not quite confident enough of my objection... haha. I've been a legal aide for a few cases, and I once had to substitute for a defense attorney because he had a... problem. Anyway..." Jay trailed off, noticing he was beginning to ramble. "Oh, I'm sorry... I've been going on and on without letting you talk. So, what've YOU been doing these days, Violet?"

(Time for randomness that I feel like posting because I'm bored.)

Dofa looked around the court room. "Wow." he said. An echo rang through the room. "Hello!" he called. It echoed. "I am an idiot!" The echo repeated. He then cuffed his hands around his mouth. "Lonestar! Before we fight! There is something you must know. I am your father's brother's cousin's former roommate!" He removed his hands. "What does that make us?" He cuffed his hands again. "ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!" It somehow repeated everything he said and sounded just as he intended.

"I didn't say anything about lowering the prosecutor... It's just... the way this one is acting... he must be new." Jay said. He was sometimes reluctant to take a firm side in an argument unless he firmly believed in something. He knew some defendants were guilty, but some were also innocent. "I really don't think courtroom antics should be a battle, it should be a quest for the truth. I'm not a big fan of lawyers who are only out to get the perfect win record even if it means getting obviously guilty crooks off the hook or sending obviously innocent people to jail."
