The car came to a screeching stop as the dorm building came into view. Chris quickly went into the main office to search for the Hawthorne room number.

Chris looked at the shirt. The way it was made, he could tell it was made out of love. He suddenly realized how much they meant to each other, but couldn't bring himself to knock at her door again. What was his business meddling in theirs? Though this was a desperate measure... Phoenix was clearly upset, and something went wrong... something went HORRIBLY wrong.

"Mmm, Mary. You came back." An orange sleeved arm was slung across Phoenix's back. Right before a pair of lips could meet his face Phoenix literally jumped to the middle of his room.
"AH! LARRY!" He snapped.
[OOC: Yes, I do realize Larry is being played by Jenna. However, he's a canon character, and I also know Jenna won't mind. So I'm using him.]
"NICK!" Larry yelled back. "Hey, why didn't you come home last night?"
"WHY ARE YOU IN MY BED?" Phoenix demanded.
"My place is a mess; plus Mary is totally into college students. I just didn't have the heart to tell her I was a drop out, and I'm way too young to be a graduate." Larry defended himself. "But what's up with you? You look like you got hit by the rejection bus."
Phoenix's eyes started to water.
"She...she...SHE BROKE UP WITH ME!" He wailed.
"Oh, dude." Larry pulled his friend into a sympathetic hug. "I totally know where you are right now." He stretched the crying Phoenix out at arm's length. "You know what you need? You need to forget all about her, and I know just the place to do it at." He smiled. "But first you're gonna need to put on a shirt, nobody wants frozen nipples."
Phoenix just nodded.

Emi stopped when she heard her name. She turned to look at Chris with dull brown eyes. She didn't have a sketchpad in her arms at the moment, so her right hand was being a little twitchy. Otherwise she looked just as nonchalant as usual.

He paced around just a bit more, collecting his thoughts, thinking Emi must think he's crazy by now. "And apparently Phoenix did something to upset this girl, and she won't tell him what he - or possibly she - did to cause this, and now he's going off doing who knows what... and he left this." He held up the sweater. "This fabric that Ms. Hawthorne made for him..."

"Dahlia Hawthorne was suspected of killing a man." She stated plainly. She'd seen the cases on the news. It was a pretty big deal since the defendant killed himself in court, and then soon after the suspect was thought to have poisoned the co-defense on the case. Dahlia's name hadn't come up in either of the news reports, but that evidence certainly had. "If she gave that necklace to Phoenix Wright then it's likely it was the same one she used to poison Diego Armando."

"If he has that necklace his life is in danger. People who kill once always kill again." She said. Her face remained deadpan despite her next realization. "As is anyone who threatens Dahlia Hawthorne's safety."
Meanwhile Phoenix was being dragged arm first into a bar.
"I don't know about this, Lar." He looked around when they were inside.
"You need to get that girl out of your head, and alcohol is the best way to do it!" Larry said with a smile.
"Yeah, but I still sort of have a cold and..."
"Get me a beer, and something fruity for my friend here!" Larry told the barkeep.
"Lar, are you even listening?" Phoenix glowered at him. Larry just smiled.
"Trust me, in a couple of hours you wont even know the girl's name."
"I don't even know it now..." Phoenix muttered as a green umbrella decorated drink was pushed in front of him. Larry chugged his beer.
