"Really now? Monks?" He chuckled as he saw them, "What is this, some 1980's ninja movie?"

"Everybody was kung-fu fight...nah, nevermind. Look down there!" Sylvester brought attention to the fleeing Grant. "I'll help those two. You can go hurt the boy down there. Don't kill him, but feel free to have fun." Sylvester took a running jump and began sprinting over rooftops until he caught up with the monks. He pushed past them, standing with Mercer. "Hello."

Migoto stopped and turned around. Hey! Sylvester was here! This fight was a sure win now! Then, she ran back, did some cool flips and kicked a monk in the back of the head. "Whoo!" she exclaimed as she jumped around. "Didya see that. Sylvester~??"

The monk spat in his face and spun kick Mercer off of him. "I am ready and willing! You will never defeat our master!" The Bear and Crane monks latched hands and the Bear swung Crane around, who would kick his feet like pistons.

Chase was enjoying a hotdog a few miles from the scene and tipped the man selling them. "Man, this is grade-A hotdog, dude! Like, gourmet."

Sylvester bent backwards, dodging the flying feet. In reality, it looked more he was playing deadly limbo. "That move would look great in a film." He said, his voice calm and confident. Sylvester suddenly dropped to the floor and kicked the bear monk as hard as he could in the ankle, tripping him over. You can guess what happened to the crane monk. "But it's as practical as a cardboard mug. The crane, by the way, is best at keeping it's balance. Maybe you should've tried swapping places? Bit late now, of course!" Sylvester joked.

Markus saw the enemy running and sprinted after Grant. This was not his fight, but he was going to at least stop Grant from getting away. Maybe even get Grant tied down in one of his Torture rooms.

Listening carefully to his headset, Sylvester patched Markus through to Chase's mobile. Knowing that, somehow, Chase wouldn't be able to hear his ringtone, he sent a very loud and very high-pitched noise through Chase's speakers to get his attention.

The Monkey stance monk flew out from the side of the building and kicked Sylvester in the chest, then hopped back to help his fellow monks up.

Chase grabbed his phone immediately. "Ow! Hello!?" he asked loudly.

"...the hell? How many of you are there?!" Sylvester stared on incredulously, brandishing the Conductor and preparing to shock the monkey stance monk. At this point, however, he decided to just punch him in the face. "Essa!" Sylvester shouted into his headset, eyes still on the monks. "Follow Markus! Stop Grant! Do your thing."
Essa jumped down from a rooftop next to Markus like a freakin' ninja and brandished a pistol. "I'm not going to kill him." She explained coldly.

The monk's boot connected with the side of Mercer's face. He rolled with the kick, using the momentum to fling himself out of the way of the monk's tag-team kick. Wiping the grime from his face, he spat out the blood welling up in his mouth. "If you want to die so badly, fine." Mercer spat, as he raised his gun loaded with the pepper bullet. "I will oblige." He aimed the muzzle into the big monk's chest, and pulled the trigger.

The Bear monk stumbled back in shock, his eyes tearing up and finally he fell back with a thud onto the rooftop. The other monks were shocked and readied themselves again. They were now fearful.

Chase began to get annoyed. "Hello? Who's makin' that crazy noise on my phone?" he demanded.

Mercer shoved his pistol into his waistband and gripped his jagged pole with both hands. He needed to end this fight. Now. "I'll give you another choice," He said through gritted teeth, "you can either keep fighting here and risk your lives-" He plunged the sharp end of the pole into the fallen monk's gut. Blood started to ooze through the robe as the monk gurgled and began to writhe in pain. "-Or you can take your wounded friend with you out of here and save his life." Mercer took his pistol out again, pulled a magazine of bullets out of his back pocket and rammed it in. "I will not harm you if you decide to leave," He pulled the action back and let it snap forward. "But if you continue to fight, I will shoot to kill."

Alarmed by Mercer's sudden actions, Sylvester could do nothing but look on in horror. He thought of raising their rule to attention, but he had to wait until the monks were dealt with.

The monks had no choice. Their only purpose here was to give Grant a chance to escape, and now that he had, there was no need to risk their lives at the moment. The Monkey stance monk stood forward. "Very well. Leave him be. We will concede. But you shall see us again."

Mercer lowered his gun and stepped back from the wounded monk. "Act fast and he could be back on his feet in no time." He said as he pulled out his wallet and retrieved a small card. "And if you want revenge, you can have my cell number." He flicked the card and it fluttered toward the monks. "Come to me as men, and not as soldiers of another's will, and I'll leave my gun and sharpened sticks behind."

"Chase, we've found Grant," Markus said as he sprinted after the villian, "He tried to piss off Migoto by disguising himself as you and macking on some other girl. Now your girlfriend is with Mercer and Sylvester fighting monks like its some crappy 80's movie. We need to finish Grant now!"

The monks rushed to help the Bear up and retreated from the building without another word. They knew what they were doing, and he had no idea what Grant had done for them to earn their loyalty. They would fight to the death for him.

Chase rolled his eyes. "What an idiot. Ok, where are you guys? I'll head over there right away!"

"Right now we're just running," Markus said. He pointed his gun at Grant's leg and fired off a shot, "I don't know if you can hear the gunshots, but we're running down by the plantation." Adrenaline pumped through his body as he continued his sprint, trying to make up for the little time lost slowing to aim.

Chase heard the shot ring out a distance away. "I'm on it! I'll be there in a few minutes!" He took off into a run towards the sound of the bullets.

Grant narrowly dodged the shot and kept sprinting. His and Chase's endurance was one of their proudest assets. They were able to run at top speed for extended periods of time, and still be able to perform their insane feats. He ran through the plantation, hoping to lose Markus amidst the plants.

Brutus was finally back in the city after finishing a self appointed mission to trounce a rather large group of random wanna-be thugs from out of the city who wanted to join the real Thugs and cause mass mayhem. They were quite easy to beat as the only fighting they seemed to ever do was among themselves. After beating up most of them unscathed the ones that weren't in the hospital with dislocated bones promised to never try and join the Thugs again.

Satisfied with a job well done he finally returned to the city after a week of finding all the wanna-be thug gangs in towns near the city and returned to see what appeared to be a group of Tibetan monks fleeing from a big fight. The heck happened when I was gone? Why did I just see some Tibetan monks fleeing from a fight? Time to call the boss, though she doesn't really use me to often I should at least check in and tell her what I just saw... Brutus turned on his rather basic looking flip phone and dialed Migoto Murasaki cell number while watching the monks flee the whole time.

Brutus started feeling his muscles tense at the thought of his boss...Er, former boss being attacked and probably injured when he wasn't here... Time to get caught up to speed. Chase scoffed. "Dumbass. I'm almost there. Gimme a few more minutes!" he said, vaulting over a car.

Grant continued to run, ducking to avoid the shots, even though they were just warning shots anyway.

Mercer watched the others as the left the roof to chase after Grant. He didn't think that he would be much use running around with them, so he opened his briefcase, removed his disassembled rifle, and began to slap the pieces into place. Now that the monks had left, Mercer began to think about what he had just done. Had this been the war zone, he might have gotten a medal for diffusing the situation with a minimal loss of life. But this wasn't war. Not a real one. He mentally smacked himself on the forehead as he slid his scope onto it's rail and inserted a few bullets into the chamber. He had a pretty good view of the plantation, and he was able to pick out Chase, Grant, Essa, Sylvester and Migoto weaving through the plants. He remembered that Migoto still had his earpiece, so he spoke.

"Miss Migoto, I'm on the roof with a view of the plantation. I've got my rifle ready, but Grant's running way to fast for me to get a bead on him."
