Mike knew if Julian was doing what he thought he was doing, he couldn't expect him to open the door. With that rationale, he banged the door down and ran into the house, the make-shift cape behind him. He looked around, his mask not hiding the terror in his eyes as he tried to find out where Julian would murder someone.

Mike happened to be out in his costume ((yes, like he was a super hero or something)), hiding. But he heard the screams from the house. He could swear he would hear them even if he was a million miles away. He burst through the doors of the house, hoping he wasn't too late...

"Freeze!" an officer shouted.
"Hi, officer," he said in his low voice. "Joey. It's good to see you."
"Freeze, murderer!" Mike noticed there were two more cops outside, and this guy had a gun trained on him.
"I didn't do-"
"We'll talk later!" Mike started walking closer to Joey.
"If you take one step closer, I'll shoot," Joey warned. Mike leapt toward the poor officer. A shot rang out.
"What do you want?" Mariah asked. "I'll do anything to bust any killers I can."

Mike winced as he pulled out the bullet from his arm. He still remembered the struggle. He pinned Joey, but his arm was in a lot of pain. Still, he pointed the gun at Joey's head while holding him up so as to pretend to take him hostage. Unfortunately, the other cops came in, and Joey elbowed Mike, forcing him to buckle. They fought, and Mike heard a shot ring out. joey fell forward, dead from being shot in the back of the head.
"Don't move!" the other cops yelled. How could they not react to killing their comrade. Mike ran out the back door, and ran home, avoiding the cops like the plague. The TV blared.
"The latex man struck again. He killed a girl and then killed a cop while he tried to get away. One could assume this man is The Artist..." Mike turned off the TV.

Name: Mark Emerson/ 'The Prosecutor'
Age: 32
Personality: Cold, ruthless and emotionless. Shows no remorse for his actions.
Profession: Serial Killer
Modus operandi (Killers only) : Victims are mainly prostitutes/drug dealers. Kidnaps the victim, then tortures and kills them.
Weapons: Various intruments of torture, butterfly knife.
background: Mark Emerson was once a high ranking prosecutor, but had it all taken from him in a forged evidence accusation during a case involving a drug dealer. Disbarred and disgraced, he vanished, and was thought to have commit suicide, especially when police found a suicide note at his home, describing the female defence attorney as 'a whore'.
Emerson reappeared two years later, under the guise of Peter Riley. At the same time, the defence attorney went missing. No body was ever found.
appareance:Leather jacket and jeans, white t-shirt. Short, black hair.
Family and friends: None. The Emerson family are still alive, but Mark is dead to them. And soon they will be dead to Mark.
"My dear...do you regret it now?"
The voice rang out in the dark, damp basement. The figure circled the table where a woman was strapped, naked. The man had no interest in the female's body, as attractive as it was. He wanted revenge.
The Prosecutor lifted the red hot poker again. He pressed it into the woman's side, and she screamed.
"I'd like an answer. Do you regret it?"
"N-n-no...you had it coming, Emerson..."
That enraged the Prosecutor, but he remained calm.
"Perhaps we should up the ante slightly..."
He replaced the poker and walked to a rack on the wall. Choosing a long, wicked looking razor blade he returned. He leaned over and slashed the woman's cheek. Blood poured from the wound and the woman screamed again. But The Prosecutor knew that the basement was soundproof.
Next, he slit the woman's stomach, then her breast, then her ears... and all the while she sreamed.
"End it, Emerson...please..."
"Say sorry."
"I'm sorry!"
The Prosecutor flicked open the butterfly knife. He plunged it into the woman's neck and she went limp.
"Apology accepted."
Mark Emerson removed the stolen forensic covering he was wearing. Then he picked up the woman's limp form and threw it into an incenerator. He watched it burn, then continued upstairs into his home, the fake wall sliding back behind him. Nobody would know the basement existed.
He was Peter Riley again now, the alter ego. He unlatched his front door and walked outside.
