This was the second time in an hour that Matt was shot. All he felt was a severe sharp burn in his upper thigh.

Lana, noticing Arxane grabbing Power before his head hit the concrete, jogged back into the house and prepared the First Aid Kit.

Lana ran back out where Arxane was supporting Power. She was trained in bullet removal and other serious first aid.
A few minutes later, and following many screams of pain from the detective, she removed the bullet and cleaned the outside of the wound.
Down, the road, she heard the WEE-WOO of the ambulance coming. She glanced at Arxane. "What should we do with...him?" She gave a wayward look to Matt, who was moaning in pain.

All of a sudden, a girl was talking to Arxane. She had to interrupt. "Arxane. Can you drive? I mean, do you have a licence?" (sp?)

Dominic Chance was a 21 paramedic assigned to 'bus' duty. 'Buses' were ambulances. In med school, they said I was a prodigy...but these idiots abuse my...er...awesomeness he thought begrudgingly in the back of the 'bus' as he waited for the driver to stop.
"Finally. Some action." he said to the other paramedic , Nancy Simmons, as the ambulance stopped . She was in her 40's. Dominic did most of the medical work, Nance was the person that dealt with the paperwork. They both liked it that way.
Dominic pulled the handle, jumped out and grabbed the front end of a stretcher. He waited for Nancy to get the other end before they jogged a few yards to the bloody mess.
Dominic set the stretcher down as Nancy went to ask the people standing around what had happened. He kneeled by the guy in the sports coat to examine his wound.

Lana noticed that the paramedic was looking at Matt first. "Sir, I'm the Chief Prosecutor for this district." she said. She always mentioned that when she needed something done. Always seemed to make people fall into place. "I think you should help this gentleman over here first." she said it as calmly as if she were talking to a waiter.

"Hmm...picking favorites, are we? Alright." He jogged over to the man slumped on the ground. He was still breathing, but was in bad shape. The bullet pierced right through his stomach. "Nance! Get over here and help me get him on the stretcher!"

Nancy closed her notebook and ran over to Dominic. Without a word, she brought the stretcher over by the man. They both picked up the detective and set him on the stretcher and, as quickly as they could, put him in the ambulance. Now to the kid on the ground.

Matt had been ignored the past few minutes, which almost hurt him more than the two gunshots. "Help! It hurts!" he yelled for the attention.

Dominic and Nancy went through the same procedure again. Once both men were in the car, they sat back down, and yelled out the open door. "The cops will be here soon."

The ambulence driver was of a secret agenda...he was Russell Timond. A terrorist. He had killed the ambulance driver who was going to be driving and took his place. Now to fulfill his mission. Timond took a swift curve and crashed into a wall. The crash snapped his vertebrae and he died fullfilling his mission.

Dominic thought this was a little strange. The left the neighbor hood, then turned to the right...the left was the way to the hospital... "Nance? Don't y-"
Crash. A piece of windshield glass stabbed Nancy, and if that wasn't enough, no seatbelt. She died, without feeling much pain. She was knocked out by flying foward.
Dominic flew through where the windshield was and was killed.
((I didn't know them. It's hard to kill characters you know nothing about!))
Lana turned to Arxane and the girl. "Look. Let's go back into the house and talk this out. Hurry." She started off for the house at a run.

Power was barely alive...he tried to crawl...but to no avail. He noticed Chief Skye going back into the house. With a sudden surge of adrenaline, he screamed "LAAAAAAAAAAAAANNNNNNNNNAAAAAAA!"

"Come on!" she yelled to the teens. She got to the seen. If Matt and Power getting shot was a bloodbath, this was a bloodocean. Dead bodies all over, but she was used to it.
She got to power. "My...my...God...". He was a bloody mess. A HUGE gash on his face, his arm a piece of meat. "Horrible..." Lana muttered to herself.
Arxane and Viola were also observing the damage. "Any ideas?" she said trying to keep her composure, removing shrapnel (sp?) from around Power.
((I'm off. I don't know exactly how long I'll be gone. I give control of Lana to Darzie, Dr. Wilder, Madfoot, and AyameFan. Don't kill her, maim her, hurt her severely, have her engage in sexual activity with anyone, steal her car keys...etc. The basics. Lol.))

Lewis frowned.
"Lana, I'll carry him," he said. "You need to stay here to explain things." He took the near-dead body and flung it, a bit carelessly, over his shoulders. It was a dangerous position for both, especially the injured, but Lewis began the trek across the street to safety.

Pheona Kirby was walking down the street with her ipod in her ears.She was away on holiday,having a break from being a defense attorney. She missed everyone, Lana,Dantil,Lewis etc.
When she got to the street she took off her ipod.
"Oh my goodness,what happened while i was away?" She said to herself.

Arxane continued to dig through the wreckage until he spotted a familiar figure. "I-is that him!?" Arxane hurried over to Matt. "Not sure if he's alive or not... Allegro! Help me drag this bastard back into the house!"

Kirby ran through to the bathroom. Hoping she would find what she needed.
She looked everywhere and behind the door she found her surgery kit.
"Yes!" She exclaimed while going back to the others.
"I new this surgery kit will come in handy,you see before I came a lawyer I wanted to become a surgeon." Kirby explained opening it.

Lana smiled broadly at the sight of Kirby. With all this death and explosions happening, it had been a while since she smiled. "Kirby!" She hugged her, then apologized. She had the detective's blood all over the front of her clothes.
"Amazing that it's only been a few months...feels like years. Want to lend a hand?"
