(M'kay...I'm seeing the general area everyone in as Oreburgh City.)

A young girl was picking up speed as she belted down Cycling Road on her red bike. A Togepi was in a basket on the front of bike, waving it's arms about, enjoying itself. The girl was smiling as she flicked out her Poketch.

"Hearthrome City...we're almost there, Togepi!" She said happily to her companion. She couldn't wait to take part in the Pokemon Contest there.

"Oreburgh City is close by, though...we can spend the night there, and we need supplies anyway, right?"

"Toge to!" Togepi agreed.

"Alright, Oreburgh City it is!"

(Bike needs to get destroyed by electric attack. JUST CAUSE. :3)

Staraptor was succesfully captured. "Looks like you will be stiking with me, Staraptor. I hope you can forgive me for what I did to you back then." Anthony said. "Everyone Return." He said as he returns Rocky and Zubat to thier Pokéballs and picks Dratini up and put her in his backpack while holding Pachirisu in his arms as he runs through ROute 208 to Floaroma Town. "Finally I made it to Floaroma Town. Better go to the Pokémon Center to get my Pokemon all healed up." He said as he goes into the Pokémon Center and asks for his Pokémon to be fully healed up. He puts Dratini back in her Pokéball and gave it to Nurse Joy as he goes and take a seat.

After looking at the fossils, Roark took Talaia on a tour of the town.

Nurse Joy calls Anthony. "Sir, your Pokémon are fully healed and restored." She bowed. "Please come again."

Anthony bows back and leaves with his Pokémon to explore Floaroma Town. "The flowers here are wonderful. Well I better keep moving next stop is Eterna Forest." Anthony said to Pachirisu.

"Pach." Pachirisu said nodding his head. Dratini comes out of its Pokéball for some fresh air.

Anthony picks her up and puts her in his bag and started to walk East of Floaroma Town and notices a girl crying. "Whats wrong?" He asked the little girl.

"Mean people in some flashy clothes has taken my dad captured." the little girl said.

"I'll help you save your dad." Anthony said knowing that it was Team Galantica when the little girl said 'flashy clothes'.

The little girl takes him to the Valley Windoworks.

"Oh look a Trainer came to stop us. Well he can never beat us lets take him on." They call out all of thier Pokémon.

Mary & Rainyday walked practically nonstop from Oreburgh, she needed to lose everyone in the pace of these gym battles, She still couldn't believe that like, 4 people shot infront of her while she waited to battle Roark. She would get to Eterna First.

Ahead of her was definately that Anthony kid, the one she had to wait for to challenge Roark, one more infront of her on the road to the league. She had to be first. She saw him talking to a young girl, & not too far behind a group of what looked like Glam Rockers (xD) heading towards what looked like a Wind Works. Anthony & the girl followed them.

"Well, that gives me some leeway-" She really couldn't care less about the poor girl & her situation, she was ahead of the game & soon out of sight.

"Staraptor come on out!" Anthony said as Staraptor came out of its ball and pecked Anthony on the forehead. "Staraptor, lets save this little girl's dad." He said looking at Staraptor.

"Star." Staraptor said as Pachirisu gets on its back.

"Staraptor get Pachirisu into that building!" Anthony said. As he turned around for Dratini to look at her oppenets. "Dratini, use Ice Beam." Anthony said.

"Dratin!" Dratini squealed as it let out an Ice beam freezing Team Galatic goons and thier Pokémon.

Staraptor breaks through the glass and Pachirisu jumps off Star's back and uses Spark on everybody while Staraptor got out before Pachirisu attacked. Pachirisu seeing everybody got paralyzed goes to teh door and then unlocks it by using its tail for it to jump. Somehow the little girl's dad was safe for he was hiding under the table.

Anthony moves the Frozen grunts out of the way and enter. "Dratini freeze the grunst and the female commander with Ice Beam!" Anthony said.

Dratini uses Ice Beams to froze the already paralyzed grunts. But missed the Commander.

"You will regret this!" She used a smoke bomb to escape with her grunts.

The little girl hugs her daddy.

"Thank you for taking care fo them." The dad said.

"It was nothing really, I cant turn down if soembody askes me for help." Anthony said. "I'll see you guys later when i get the time."

"Take care!" the both of them said as Anthony leaves them as he gets on Staraptor's back. "Hey Staraptor lets go." He said as Staraptor took flight and flys but spotted a girl and sstops them in their palce by landing in front of her.

Rebecca took in the sight of Oreburgh City as she screeched to a halt, the mountain community was thriving with people and miners at work.

"Well Togepi, what say we head for the Pokemon center and freshen up?"

"Toge!" Her pokemon gave it's approval and she immediately cycled down the road for the center.

Roark walked with Talaia down the street, holding her hand.

After a few minutes, Rebecca found herself completely and utterly lost. She couldn't see the Pokemon Center anywhere in sight. Togepi itself was looking around as she cycled, but neither of them had spotted it. Then, she spotted two people coming towards her.

"Um...excuse me!" She called out to them. "You wouldn't know where the Pokemon Center would be, would you?"

"oh, it's right down the street, on the next right." Roark replied, "It's got a big red roof. You can't miss it."

Ivan walked into the burger joint with Canace. He placed his order and took a seat nearby. Or, he would have, if he hadn't unexpectedly bumped into someone. "Oh, geez!" he cursed and looked at the mess he helped cause. It looked as if the person had just finished their order and was on the way out. "Here. I apologize for the accident", he said.

"Don't worry about it, Ivan", came the response.

Ivan looked puzzeled until he faced the person he collided with who turned out to be one of his friends from Hearthome. His features were very different from Ivan. He had shaggy blonde-dyed hair with freckles all over the place. He had a rounder nose and, strangely, brown eyes - not the typical blue. He wore a short-sleeve green shirt and blue jean shorts. His tan skin was the perfect compliment to his attire. He was of medium build but slightly taller than Ivan.

"Oscar! I didn't even imagine seeing you here", he exclaimed and exchanged a fist-pump with him. "What's up, dude? We haven't seen each other in a long time."

"I've been getting by", Oscar replied. "I heard you were taking the Pokemon challenge but that was three years ago and you're still in Oreburgh? What have you been doing, man?"

Ivan appeared sheepish. "Well, long story short: Was robbed, got a job, and somewhere along the road teamed up with this girl behind me", he motioned to Canace. "We're on the road together. How about you?"

"I've just started on the same road as you, it seems. Bought a Pokemon and decided to take the League Challenge", Oscar responded. "I'm going solo, though. You and I will eventually have to battle each other if we make it all the way to the League."

Ivan's look turned bitter but he shrugged it off. "Well", he grinned, "it was great meeting you again. Good luck, dude!"

"Yeah. See ya!" Oscar responded. He dumped the contents of his tray in the trash and headed out the door. With that, Ivan took his seat and waited for Canace.

((From now on, the new character I've introduced will make occasional appearances, sometimes to battle, sometimes during critical story arcs, or sometimes just to fill in RP space.))

"Alright! Thanks for your help!" She spoke cheerfully. Togepi thanked the two as well and Rebecca belted down the road to the Pokemon Center.

Sonny had spent some hours sightseeing and shopping when he finally decided to leave Jubilife. On his arm he had a new Pokétch.

Sonny started to look on a map over the region that he bought.

Sonny: "Where should we head now Blastoise?"

Blastoise shaked it's head as he didn't know

Sonny: "We are supposed to go to Oreburgh and challenge the leader. But I'm pretty interested in checking out floara-place and some windworks."

Sonny put down his map in his backpack and started to walk with blastoise along route 204.

Mary stopped & stared at Anthony, trying not to look amused at his flashy entrance. She knew a flashy entrance when she saw one, heck, she camped outside of Wallace's gym for a year, & trained with Juan; but it wasn't every day guys dropped out of the sky with perfect precision off of a Staraptor. Rainyday on the otherhand, was totally inmpressed by it, & stared at them in awe.

Normally, she never took it upon herself to speak first, she was just that type of person, unless it was like important, like a gym leader, the police of someone she knew. This guy was the guy who got to Roark first, & also got some special treatment, she was envious already.

"Can I help you?" She asked, trying to tone down the snarkyness.

Note to self.... Tell Staraptor to o to the entrance of the forest..... He thought. "......" He remained silent for he was examinnig the girl. "You are that girl I saw at Roark's Gym." He said.

Roark and Talaia Continues on their path.

"So Talaia..." Roark asked, "what is your dream in life?"

"Well..." She thought, "I want to get all 8 badges, be recognized by the pokemon league, win some contests, then, maybe settle down. What about you?"

"Well.... My goal was to become a gym leader, like my dad, but I've already accomplished that." He replied, "Now I don't know what to do."

"We hope to see you again!"

Rebecca nodded in thanks to the Nurse Joy behind the counter. She decided to sit down and unwind, sipping a bottle of lemonade she had packed into her bag. Suddenly, she heard something flapping around her, and looked up to see a Dustox.

"Where in the world did you come from?" Rebecca smiled at the Dustox. The Dustox then flew towards the doors, as if motioning Rebecca to follow it.

"You...want me to come with you?" She asked curiously. Togepi stared at the Dustox as it gave a nod and flew out of the Pokemon Center.

"Well, let's see what the matter is, Togepi." She scooped up Togepi in her arms and she hurried out after the Dustox.

The Dustox eventually led her to an alleyway, where it floated in front of a brick wall. Rebecca stepped forward apprehensively, it was dark and gloomy compared to how cheerful Oreburgh City seemed earlier...

"Perfect. Dustox, use Sleep Power!"

"Wha-"

Rebecca spun around and caught a glimpse of two green haired people, each clad in the weirdest outfits she had ever seen...they looked like they came from space.

Then, she felt her eyelids begin to droop, and Togepi gave a small "pi..." as well. As her eyes closed and she felt sleep take her, Rebecca and Togepi fell to the floor, her hands wrapped around the small pokemon.

"Wow, that girl's dumber then she looks...kinda cute, though..."

"Let's just bag the Togepi and get outta here!"

"Nah, we can't do that. She saw us...what if she becomes a nuisance and tells people? I say we take her straight back to Eterna with us."

"...Good point. Alright, put her in the spare bag, the Togepi too."

The two Galactic Grunts pulled a large bag over Rebecca and Togepi, and placed it into a truck that was parked nearby. The two got in and started the engine, driving out of Oreburgh and heading for Eterna City...

"Roark!" Talaia shouted, "Did you see that?!? Those two jerk-offs just kidnapped that girl!!"

"I saw! It looked like there's going towards Eterna! You have to go after them!" Roark replied.

"M-Me?!?" Talaia said, "Why me!?!?"

"I can't leave the city." He said, "Besides, you need to go to Etrena anyway..."

"Good point."

"Here, take this." He gave her an HM. "It contains 'Rock smash'. You might need it."

"T-Thanks." Talaia replied. She hesitated for a second, then kissed him. "I'll be back soon." With that, she ran after the truck.

Mary eyed his Staraptor suspiciously, "Yes, I am, & I only have 2 pokemon on me, so I'd rather not battle if that's what you're after..." Rainyday was eager to fight, giving her a look when she said she'd rather not, but this guy already had a Staraptor, she doubted she had a chance, & he had more pokemon.

"So, if you'll excuse me, I'm in a hurry."

Talaia chased after the truck. When she came to the edge of Eterna forest, she stopped. "Woah..." she said to herself, taken aback by the vastness.

"We both are heading for the same place, why not go together?" He asked.

The first thing Rebecca noticed when she awoke was that her hands were tied behind her back with a thick, rough type of rope. She was lying on a small metal bed with only a duvet to cover her. Hardly comfortable.

"Ugh...where the heck...am I?" She shook herself to get more focused, each second bringing more sense into her. Her eyes became less blurry and she noticed she was in a sort of storage room. Shelves lined the side. A cupboard was in the far corner, along with what seemed to be a broken tv. There was no sign of a window, nor a light.

Then she realized. Togepi was gone.

"Togepi!" She stood herself up in a hurry, determined to see if her companion was okay or not. She immediately raced over to the door and tried to push the door handle with her knee, but it was locked.

"What the heck?!"

Suddenly, the door unlocked and was slammed open. The shock of it sent Rebecca falling to the floor, giving a cry as she hit the cold metal surface. She could see two males, both in wacky clothes...with green hair...like they were from space or something.

"You guys kidnapped me!" She immediately yelled.

"Now now, don't get so angry, cuti-"

The first man was cut short as Rebecca bit his hand. He gave a yell and staggered backwards. She stood up quickly and tried to ram her foot into the second man's stomach, but he grabbed her from behind.

"Settle...down...girl!" He huffed as Rebecca fought for freedom, kicking and swinging herself around as much as possible in his grasp. The first man then grabbed her by the chin, and brought her face to meet his leering expression.

"Now listen here! We could have just dumped you in Oreburgh City, but we were kind enough to bring you back! Now stop ya squirming, 'else your little Togepi's in for a nasty shock."

Rebecca's eyes widened with fear as she heard Togepi was threatened.

"WHAT DID YOU DO TO MY TOGEPI, YOU BARST-"

"If you don't shut the hell up, you can kiss your Togepi goodbye!" The second man interrupted.

She clenched her teeth and her fists, her eyes showing great dislike to both of these men. But...she didn't have a choice. Not with Togepi in danger. In defeat, her gaze fell to the floor and her body lost any fighting spirit that it had only seconds ago.

"Good little girl. Now, come with us!"

Talaia entered the forest. "I don't like this place at all..." she said to herself. Her and Manene walked on, battling some wild pokemon.

"That girl's pokemon are pretty impressive." some one said.

"Indeed. I've never seen a mime jr. so strong." another person said.

"Her pokemon would make a fine addition to Galactic's collection....."

(OOC: Yeah, I said she was meeting someone. But I decided it'd be better if Jupiter's appearance was left till later. ;) Also, sorry about the swearing. ^_^;)

Rebecca was led upstairs and around corridors, where several more green haired people were patrolling past them. Some were female and had a slight variation in their outfit. But they were all the same...with something on the front that Rebecca noticed. A "G". G for what?

"In here!"

She was pushed forward somewhat rudely, and the sight before her stunned her.

Cages all lined the sides around a square room. Unlike the storage room, there were lights. But all the pokemon seemed depressed and scared out of their wits. Some were motionless in their cages, asleep or worse...she didn't know.

"We are Team Galactic. We use strong Pokemon for our own reasons, to go higher then anyone ever has before!"

Rebecca was mortified. She hated seeing pokemon kept in such conditions, and even more so to see them mis-used for bad intentions.

"I know Team Galactic." She growled. "You broadcast yourself all over the place. You say you want the donation of Pokemon merely for the greater good. But anyone who sees this can clearly tell the greater good is far from your objectives! You're nothing more then thugs running scandals!"

The grunt behind Rebecca scoffed. "Team Galactic is more then you can comprehend. With Pokemon by our side, no one can oppose us! Strong pokemon, that is..."

Rebecca gritted her teeth as she was led back to the storage room. She already knew what she planned to do. She was going to find a way to escape. And then, she'd see every last pokemon was freed. Including her Togepi.

"I bet you don't even know what your goal is. You guys must be pretty low down the line to be dealing with kidnapees."

"Get in there!"

They threw her in, and she landed on the floor rather sharpish. Wincing from the slight bruise that was going to form on her arm, she stood up.

Now, how was she going to get out of here?

Mary looked Anthony up & down, raising an eyebrow. She tilted & notice Staraptor touch down at the foot of the forest. "I'd rather go by myself, if that's ok." She said. She didn't want to be mean, but she also wanted to get this whole Sinnoh thing over with so that she could get back to Wallace, & she definately didn't want to feel like a tag-along. "Wanna move your Staraptor?"

Talaia tripped on a rock. (lol, again) While she was down, the galactic member took this opportunity to steal he pokemon. "Manene!" she cried!

"Mime Mime Mime!" Manene cried back. Talaia got up and went after the grunts, but one pushed her, making her hit her head on a tree and knocking her out.

"Alright, but it is your loss." He said as he looks at Staraptor. "Staraptor, return." He said as Staraptor was returned to his pokéball. Anthony just heads onto Eterna Forest, on his way out of the forest he ahd to battle some wild pokémons.


"A Pachirisu, its strong." one guy said.

"It would make a fine addation for our Galatica collection."

Anthony sees a girl knocked out. "Huh? Its the girl that was with Roark... Her Mime Jr. aint with her? Now who would...." Anthony said before noticing 2 people in flashy clothes was hiding behind bushes waiting to take Anthony's Pachirisu. "Pachirisu, use Spark at the bushes over there. "He said pointing to the two bushes that the Galatica grunts were hidiing with the Mime Jr.

"Pachirisu!" SPachirisu said as it sued SPark on the grunts letting go of Mime Jr. as it falls on Talaia's head.

"Well done, Pachirisu." He said as he held onto his Pachirisu as he goes over to the knocked out girl and shakes her but before he did he put Mime Jr. on the ground. "Wakey Wakey Wakey." He said.

Canace turned to Ivan as he briefly introduced his now-out-the-door friend. "Oh, I see. Well, I guess it's good that you're not alone on the road", she spoke with a smile.

She and Ivan waited for their order and polished it down after they received it. Soon, they left the fast food joint and headed downtown to the Oreburgh Gym. The building towered above them, its glass windows and white exterior gleamed in the sunlight. They entered only to be greeted with an empty foyer.

"Hello", Ivan spoke but his voice only echoed through the empty complex. "Maybe he's out", Ivan wondered. His thought was soon answered by the sound of the automatic doors they came through. It was a man wearing a gray work jacket, sturdy boots, and a red flashlight helmet. He wore black glasses and seemed very dirty, like he finished working in the coal mines. The man removed the glasses, wiped them off, then looked at the two trainers in front of him. Roark had entered the building.

"Hi! I'm Roark", he introduced. "I'll assume you're here to take the Pokemon Gym Leader Challenge?"

Ivan spoke up. "Yes. We're both part of the competition", he replied.

"Well, I guess I'll go wash up then challenge you. However, you'll have to wait for a while between each fight. My Pokemon also need time to rest", Roark said.

"Actually", Ivan began, "I was wondering if we could face you and one of your trainers in a double battle."

Roark perked his head in interest. "Oh, interesting. I suppose I could but the League will probably give me an earful for it." He walked over to Canace. "Is stunning young lady the one you'll be battling with?"

Canace's face immediately turned red. She tried her best not to stutter or slip up. "Uh, y-yeah. I'm his partner and we want to face you in a double battle", she replied, hopefully not sounding as meek as she felt.

Roark stepped back and nodded in agreement. "Okay, then. A double battle it is. Give me a few minutes to wash up and rest before we begin." With that, he walked off, leaving Ivan and Canace at the entrance.

That guy is one smooth operator, Ivan thought to himself. I would never have the courage to court a woman like that. He tried his best not to fidget.

Soon, the gym was alive with activity as trainers lined the court where the battle was to be held. The field was very rocky, dirty, and rough; the perfect terrain for Rock types to fight in. Ivan kept his doubts to himself while Canace hardly flinched. She had grown up around this kind of rugged environment. How her Pokemon would handle this terrain was a different matter.

Roark emerged from his office and walked toward his side of the arena. Alongside him walked one of his students and one of the tallest people Ivan and Canace had ever seen. He was at least six feet tall. His shaggy black mullet flowed down the back of his neck, his dirt brown and coal black shirt and jeans seemed like they could take a world of abuse, and body was no slouch on the muscular spectrum. He seemed like he could easily benchpress 300 pounds of conrete and steel. His skin was dark but not enough to qualify as black.

"This is Clint, my top student", Roark introduced. "He was one of the first students to enroll at this gym for training and he's become of my starlight pupils. He's actually not too far from receiving his administrative license."

"Administrative license", Ivan confusedly replied.

"Oh, I've heard about those", Canace chimed in. "When a trainer receives his administrative license, it means that he's legally qualified to open his own gym."

"Yup", Clint replied. "That's about it. The getting-and-receiving process is actually way more complicated but that's about the gyst of it", he spoke in his deep, raspy voice. He was anxious about this battle. This was part of his test. If he won this battle alongside Roark, he would be permitted to fill in for the Gym Leader in the event of a battle. If he won that, he would receive his official Gym Administrative License.

If he won.

The referee, another student, took his place on the sideline. "The Oreburgh Gym battle is about to begin. Trainers Ivan from Hearthome City and Canace from Iron Island have challenge Gym Leader Roark and his student Clint to a two-on-two battle. Each trainer will be allowed two Pokemon during the fight. If on Pokemon faints, the trainer must recall their Pokemon and send out another one until their Pokemon are unable to fight. In the event that two Pokemon knock each other out, the challengers will win by default. If either side is caught cheating during the battle, they will be disqualified as well."

With that, both teams took their positions and waited for the referee's signal.

"Trainers, get ready! On your marks... Let the battle commence!"

((I'll finish this up later. Tomorrow or later tonight. I just need to give this wall of text some room to breathe.))
