Lola curtseyed at Ruby. No one in the village knew why she greeted people in this way, but it was something that made her special, nonetheless.
"Hello, Ruby!" She smiled.

"Hello, Lola!" Ruby said, smiling.
'That Lola is always happy. To be honest I have never seen her sad, or angry, or any other emotion for that matter. It's almost mechanical...' Ruby thought, but then snapped out of her trance.

"Anyway, I wasn't expecting any mail. Care to show me?" She asked, smiling gentley.

Still uneasy about the duo getting their hands on his... 'letters from afar', Xavier heard a familiar knock echoing from the back of his subtle adobe. He waited as he saw a letter slip under the door, plainly not in English. He picked it up to realize it was upside-down... and it was from the master. His quickly slit open the envelope to only drop it to the floor. He opened the door, seeing Tina. His face broken of his signature lightness. His emotion was burnt with fear and question. "B-But why so soon? I have yet to break any of the oaths... why me? Why you? Why here? ... Why NOW?!" Xavier slid against the closed door, forming an awkward sitting position. "I Didn't plan for that attack last night... My calendar is never wrong... He was too early, and it's not my fault those two... LOOPS saw the whole thing!! Ngh..." He sighed; half of anger, half of betrayal. "What are we going to do?"

Tina shook her head in response. By now, her face was blankly serious, drained of her usual cheery smile and rosy cheeks. "It wasn't my fault that he came too soon," she told him. "Nor was it yours. It was they who are responsible. They're...different from all the usual visitors, though we hardly get any. Do you think...it's starting? The...no, it can't be." Starting to walk around the room, the girl then said to the apprehensive Xavier, "Oh, and the Master is calling an emergency meeting tonight, at the lodge. Be ready."
