"...Does it hurt?" Nadine said incredulously, lowering the bag of ice from her face. Something had snapped at the brief grin that Charisa had given. She finds this funny? Well of course she does. She's a selfish, self-obsessed...cow! It was uncommon for Nadine to call anyone a name, even in her thoughts, so it was clear to herself that she was pretty darn angry at the moment. Her cyclothymia definately had no say in her anger right now - it was due to all the hurt that Charisa had caused her mentally by abandoning her to date Nadine's well known crush as well as the pure spite she'd just seen within hours of speaking to her for the first time since Charisa began her relationship with Darren.

"Want to find out?!" Nadine blurted suddenly, dropping the ice to the floor. Forgetting the room full of adults, she stepped forwards to deliver a sharp slap to Charisa's cheek with a noise that resounded in the small kitchen. Nadine felt her hand sting - it was definately a much harder slap than that she had just given Darren. Not that she regretted it in the slightest. Her bubbling anger still overruled the common sense of not starting a fight in the room that the adults were in.

'Ah!' Charisa shouted, not knowing this would happen. Charisa placed her hand at her cheek and felt it sting.
She looked angry at Nadine. Now i definitely don't want to say sorry anymore. She tought.
'Why, you.. you.. ' She couldn't find the right words.
Charisa blinked a couple of times with her eyes and then slapped Nadine back at the same place Darren slapped her.
'Do you feel that?!' She shouted at Nadine while placing her hands at her cheek again.
Her cheek and her hand hurted, but she didn't care. She was just really really mad at Nadine.

They'd progressed to slapping. This has to stop. Theresa thought and regardless of whether she knew them or not, if someone didn't intervene, it would probably go even further. She placed herself in between the two girls.

"Stop. Just stop." Theresa said simply. "I don't know either of you and I have little idea what's going down between you two, but in a way that actually makes me better placed to judge. If you want to go outside and slap each other around to get it out of your system, that's fine by me, but at the moment it looks as though you're just going around in a vicious circle. So you can either have a go at breaking out of it or carry on hurting each other."

She paused for breath. I'm such a hypocrite. Nearly thirty and I'm still going in circles myself "Believe or not, I used to be young. I live with a 17-year old. And one thing I do know is that the solution you two seem to be choosing isn't going to make things any better. I can see sorting things out won't be easy. But once you do it, you can walk away and never talk again if that's what you want. That's my advice. Take it or leave it."

I need some air.... Theresa sighed deeply and left the room, slipping out of the broken door and letting the cold air wash over her face. It's time for me to break out of my own circle. By the end of the night....I'll know. And so will he.

((Fear not, Theresa WILL eventually stop muttering vaguely to herself and come out with how she feels. Soon XD ))

Nadine blushed, reality catching up with her in a large whoosh. Her eyes flickered from Charisa, to the door where Theresa had disappeared, to Darren. What had she done? Started a catfight over a dare. A stupid dare. A dare caused by Charisa's spite in the first place! Feeling the anger rising again, Nadine quickly cut herself from that train of thought. She'd made a fool of herself in front of Darren. Looked like a possessive madwoman, slapping girls with wild abandon should they interfere with their relationship. She groaned and buried her face in her hands.

She looked at the door Theresa used. She placed her hand at her cheek. Well.. thanks.
She sightend and sat down on the floor. Charisa was shaking.

((Apparently Nii is getting tied up with stuff so untill further notice (IE when she finds out if she can handle doing the RP), Miles, Klavier, and Sean are on idle. Lets concentrate on the kids game and include any adults not watching Sean's dare.))

"WOAH! Ladies..." Darren raised his hands as Nadine slapped Charisa, "Normally this'd be hot, but you don't need to fight on my achord." Picking up the ice pack and giving it back to Nadine, Darren turned to Charisa, "Look, I didn't want to be dating another chick so soon after I broke it with you, but that's just how it happened. I dig that it was only a dare, and although it really sucked for us two, it was cause I was a jerk." Putting his finger to Charisa's head and giving her a gentle shove back, Darren smirked, "Cause of that, I'm not going to blame ya. Even Stevens now, right?"

Turning back to Nadine, he gave her a kiss on the forehead, holding the ice to her cheek, "And you, my choc top have an impressive swing." Giving her a wink as he pulled away, Darren was clearly impressed, "I better watch my potty mouth around you."

Charisa looked away with a mad look on her face. 'Right.'
She glanced at Nadine. She was the one slapping me after i tied up with that stupid dare.
She looked at Darren as he turned to Nadine.
What does he want with her anyway? If he doesn't pay attention all the time she'll stab him in the back.

((You should TOTALLY make her want to win Darren bad if she's annoyed in that way :) I'll make it that his reasons from breaking it with her was cause he had to to date Aphra to protect Alex, so he has un resolved feelings about the situation.))

Darren's amused take on the situation relieved Nadine, and she relaxed, a smile appearing under the bag of ice. As her face was now numb, she removed it and tossed it to Charisa's feet before moving back to Darren's side. "I'd never hit you again anyway," she said quietly, kissing him on the cheek before taking his hands, all too aware of Charisa's prescence. "We should go back to the circle."

Charisa sighted when Nadine kissed Darren. You're doing that on purpose, i know it.
Charisa picked up the bag of ice and looked at it. Then she she dropped it again and walked away towards the circle.
She took her place and crossed her arms. I.. I'm not going to let this al happen.
Charisa wasn't the kind of girl to purposely betray or hurt someone, but she wasn't in a good mood.
She was actually very angry.

Roy saw Charisa sitting at her place again and walked over to her.
'What happened? You look angry.' He said, still annoyed about the dare.
Charisa raised her eyebrow and smiled. She never failed to trick people with false smiles, especially not at her brother.
'Angry? Me? No, i'm not angry at all. I'm just a little bored.' She said.
Roy nodded. Bored. After that dare nothing would entertain you, eh?
He looked at Charisa, and smiled. Nah, it probably was a mistake. Only Charisa can smile like that, she'll never hurt someone purposely. I know it.
'Okay, Well we always could go home if you want?' He asked.

"Awe, man... that's right," Daren frowned. "The kiss. Isn't there some man friendly way I can do this?" Leading out towards the circle, content that atleast Nadine wasn't in pain anymore, he noticed a new guy at the circle. He looked familiar. He wasn't sure where from. "Hey, Nads," Darren started, "New guy there looks familiar. You seen him before?"

Noticing Aphra making eyes at the new guy, Darren was vaguely relieved. Atleast she was distracted from Alex for now, so he could relax and enjoy the game... or atleast sorta enjoy it...

((Friday 9pm NZ time onwards (Thursday American time? You guys are a day behind, right? We get the new day first), I'll be in Wellington for 10 days. I'll try to RP, but if I don't respond fast, it's cause I'm stealing my host's interwebs to surf the net. I should have the kiss done by then though :)

'Home?' Charisa noticed Darren and Nadine entering the room. She gave them a pleasant smile and waved at them.
Then she turned back at Roy.
'No, we haven't even spun yet! And you want to spin to, don't you?' She asked. I can't leave, not now.

Roy sighted. 'Remember why i came here in the first place? To pick you up. Not to kiss random people!'
Charisa nodded. 'But, you did join the group, so you have to, okay?' She smiled.
Roy looked away. 'Sure sure.' Later. 'But there's a kiss going on now, right? I guess i'll have to wait.' He smiled and walked away before Charisa could say anything.

Charisa looked at Darren and Nadine. I want to kiss him.
She didn't feel any regrets anymore for letting Darren slap Nadine, or dating Darren in the beginning.
I'm glad i came. Now i know what kind of person Nadine really is. Is that what i felt bad about?
She grinned.

Following Darren's gaze, Nadine spotted Roy walking away from Charisa. "That's Roy, right? Her brother." She couldn't help but feel a pleased that Darren didn't know this minor detail about his ex - it showed that he hadn't really brrn to interested in getting to know her. At least, that's how Nadine liked to interpret it. She made a note in her mind to ignore Charisa. After all, Darren was Nadine's now. And Charisa couldn't do anything about it. Darren was never the cheating type. "As for the kiss...I'm guessing that nothing I say could make it more man-friendly. So I suggest you just do it." She gave him a small push towards Alex, who was still prettied up with lip gloss.

"Oh, I know Roy," Darren laughed uneasily, "He's cool. He and I have kept hanging out even after the break up, you know? I meant the pretty boy upstaging Alex there." Glancing back, he was happy to see Aphra being distracted on her own accord finally, "Aphra looks like she's pretty into him."

Watching Darren talking his time coming back to the circle, Alex's face was bright red in anticipation of the kiss. He was LIVID that Daren forced him to come here... now this? Having to KISS his best mate? That's something FRAT boys do when they're drunk. IF word leaked, they'd be the laughing stock of the team. Not to mention it defies the biggest bro rule. No public displays of affection.

What if we hid? No, that's be worse... Suppose we could force everyone to keep it silent? No- that'll make it worse. The more we make a big deal about it, the more likely it is that someone will tell. We're just going to have to pretend that the other is a chick...

"URGH!!!!" Alex groaned in disgust as he remembered that his lips were covered in lipstick. Wiping it off frantically, it smudged around his lips looking worse, "Darren!" Alex demanded, "Get your ass over here, and get it over with already."

((Time for a LONG overdue Rowan-and-Tascha post XD ))

"...Here, if you'd like," the pretty blonde sitting next to the guy who'd just offered Rowan a seat cut in. "Uh, okay...thanks." he smiled awkwardly and sat down beside her. Actually "pretty" didn't really do her justice- this girl could have been up on the Carino's billboard alongside him. "I guess names would be a good place to start. I'm Rowan. Is your name as pretty as you are?" he ventured. God, that sounded SO cheesy. And aren't you always the one complaining that you hate being judged by your looks?

Aha. She's distracted. Bus Stop Boy, you are my saviour... thought Tascha with relief as she noticed Aphra turn her attention to the hot guy who'd just entered the room. Alex made an attempt to smear off his lipstick, only making matters worse in the process.

She produced a makeup wipe from her purse and stepped over to Alex. "Hold still a moment." Tascha murmured as she took hold of his chin and wiped off the remains of the lipstick. "You look as though you're going to your execution... It'll be over in a few seconds. And nobody will find out anyway." she finished, resuming her seat.

Squinting at the person Darren indicated, Nadine shrugged. "Oh, him? I don't know." She rolled her eyes as the boy appeared to fall for Aphra's charms. Gee, Aphra, can't you take a break before devouring someone else? Hearing Alex yell at Darren to get it over with, she gave Darren another shove. "Go!"

"Aiiie!" Darren yelped, as Nadine shoved him forward towards Alex, before he clumsily stumbled forward and collapsed onto the ground, collapsing onto Alex's lap. In horror that he was so wound up that he'd clutz out so much, Darren paused on his landing spot for that moment, before glancing up at Alex, who was about to thanks Tascha for the make up remover before Darren gate crashed his personal space. Giving him an agitated look, Alex kind of looked like he wished Darren HADN'T dusted in on him that second. Giving Alex a wave, Darren gave him a half smile.

"Hey, Lex. So... how we gonna do this?" Glancing to the side for a moment, he considered the options, "Two short kisses or one long one?"

"Well," Alex thoughtfully, turning back to Tascha, wanting the rest of the makeup removed before he was ready to face Darren again, "I'm not playing the chick. If you want to be a hero with this, YOU are going to have to slap on the plastic fantastic."

"ME?!" Darren bleated as Tascha finished removing the make up. Alex gave her a smile, and mouthed a thank you, before turning back to Darren, touching around his jaw defensively.

"Yes, you," Alex nodded, "Do these arms look like chick arms? My face? I'm not wearing make up."

"You Jack-ass," Darren scolded with a scowl, suddenly shoving Alex backwards and onto Tascha's lap, pinning him down. Alex's eyes widened back at Darren in surprise, "Who gives a crap who plays the chick? How about I just pretend you're a chick and you pretend I am one too?"

"Rowan?" Aphra breathed, adopting a more relaxed smile. She was already 20 steps further with this guy than she was with Klavier with minimal effort. This was extremely promising. Not every man in this game had his head in the sand! She couldn't come across too strong though. He looked like he was a little apprehensive suddenly as he talked to her. He's a little shy. That's rather endearing, actually! Finally ready to respond, Aphra turned her full attention to him. As great as seeing Darren emberess himself, she really didn't want to interrupt this moment.

"My name is Aphra," Aphra smiled, trying not to scare him by coming across too strong by looking him in the eyes, "It's short for Aphrodite. The Godess of Love." Carefully tucking some hair behind her ear, it wasn't difficult to act a little shy around him. He was a VERY well known model, and very handsome. She didn't feel scared around him, as much as she felt overwhelmed by his presence. He seemed so nice. What was there to be loud and obnoxious about?

((BTW- in Wellington. My posts will be slow, but I hope to update once a day till I''m back home. IE- I'm RPing once a day so I'm still rping guys- k?))

Tascha smiled as Darren and Alex argued over who would "play the chick", though her laughter was smothered rapidly by the back of Alex's head as the two boys landed heavily in her lap. Agh! Too heavy! she thought- their combined weight was probably over twice her own. On the other hand, she had to admit she didn't much mind having Alex in her lap... That doesn't sound any less strange in your head than it would if you said it out loud. Looks like you won't see the kiss with a faceful of his hair though...

((I've done a heap of new rolls to include Rowan, but sadly his number didn't come up :( He'll get to kiss someone if he spins though. Sadly he rolled only men XD I irarta that by giving him a 4th roll that had to include a girl.))

Aphra smiled, pleased that there was attention coming her way finally. Specially such good looking company.

"Trucy invited me here," Aphra replied softly, glancing aside, "So far this seems like it's been an entertaining game, even if some of it has been a little personal for some." Glancing back to Rowan she smiled, "I am yet to spin though. Perhaps the night could get even more interesting! How about you?"

Alex narrowed his eyes, looking up at Darren with a cool expression.

"You better be as good of a kisser as you say you are," Alex growled as Darren released his hold on him. Darren smirked, letting Alex sit back up to an upright again.

"You'll never know," Darren replied, leaning closer to Alex, "This kiss will be NOTHING in comparison to what I'd give a chick."

"I'm flattered," Alex replied, "I bet you say that to all the boys."

"Only the ones that I can't kick the ass to," Darren replied bitterly, slipping his hand behind Alex's head and tilting his head to the side, "Although I may still kick your ass if you don't shut the hell up." Alex glanced down at Darren's mouth awkwardly before sighing and closing his eyes.

"Fine then," Alex replied, tilting his head slightly too, bracing his position carefully. Darren closed his eyes then and leaned, pressing his lips to his firmly trying to imagine Nadine's lips at the end of his own before Alex squirmed himself out of the way so Darren was kissing beside his lips. Giving Alex's head a firm but not violent whack, Darren opened his eyes to give an agitated expression.

"Didn't you demand that I get this over with?" Darren growled, "This game is meant to be fun, K? I don't want to kiss a bro any more than you do, but the girls wanna see it, k? Can you just play along for about 15 seconds?" Alex pulled away slightly, giving Darren a WTF look.

"You want to give them a SHOW?" Alex asked with a limp look, "That's so typical of you, Darren,"

"Damn straight," Darren smirked, "Now stop being up tight and get this over with. I promise I'll never con you into another Spin the bottle game ever again if you do." Alex considered this for a moment. Girls LIKE this stuff? Glancing back slightly at Tascha behind him so she couldn't tell he was looking, it was kinda nice getting her attention. He wondered if she would be watching him if he did it. Aphra sure didn't look like she was interested, but she wasn't interested in dating him.... right? If they were impressed more than shocked, maybe they'd keep it quiet?

"Deal," Alex replied, placing his hands on Darren's waist, "But only if you kiss me like a chick." Darren scrunched his nose up at Alex for a moment before rolling his eyes.

"But of corse," Darren mocked in a 'girly' voice, wrapping his other arm around his chest and giving him a tight squeeze, "You better not chicken out on me again though, sugar." Smirking at Darren's poor attempt to talk like a whore, Alex brought his face closer, this time panic wasn't written across his face. Darren took this as his window of opportunity, tilting his head a little and pressing his lips to Alex's, who didn't squirm away this time. Instead, he also returned the kiss to Darren's surprise. Darren closed his eyes as he pretended he was a girl getting a great kiss. Hope you're digging this Nads, you wont get it ever again...

Nadine felt a wide blush rush to her cheeks as the two boys finally kissed. It looked...strange, but oddly- She went even redder as her brain traveled into that train of thought, bringing a hand to cover her mouth with embarassment at her own thoughts. After a while, she coughed lightly. "Um, guys...I think you're done," she said quietly, face still scarlet.

Shoving Darren off his face as soon as Nadine announced that it had been long enough, Alex fell back onto Tascha's lap in horror, as Darren tumbled back into Nadine. Covering his mouth in horror at what he just had to do, Alex felt violated. Darren was right. Darren even LOOKED like he gave girls better kisses than the one that he gave him, but he still put effort in which made him want to put effort in too...

"That better be the LAST time I have to ever do that again, Jones!" Alex yelled at Darren from behind his hand, trying to hide his bright red face. Darren wiped his lips with the back of his hand with disdain, looking aside.

"I can guaranty that, but it's sure as hell the last that I want to see of your face up that close..." Darren joked, "Now, if you excuse me, I need to wash my mouth out with kerosene."

Sighing loudly as he moved his hand from his mouth to his forehead, and relaxed on the springy fabric under his head, Alex couldn't believe what a crap day it had been.

"Could it get any worse?" Alex sighed, closing his eyes lightly.

Taking the time where Alex and Darren exclaimed with disgust to compose herself, Nadine pulled Darren back to her, a playful grin back in its usual position on her face. "It can't have been that bad, Daz. At least it was someone you're close to rather than a stranger, right?" Looking around at the rest of the group, her eyes lingered on the attractive boy that Aphra was talking to. Well, i'm sure he'd want to kiss THAT stranger. Well, if he has good taste in boys. Do boys even notice other boys' attractiveness? She mused over this thought for a while.

She grinned. Relax.. it's a game..
She was in a weird mood. She felt angry, sad happy and jealousy at the same time.
Charisa glanced at the bottle. This game is doing weird thing to me anyway..

Roy glanced at Charisa. Is there something wrong with her?
He sighted. 'So.. who's going to spin next?' He asked, not really talking to someone.

((Dropped by to say I'm pulling out soon, though I am considering just leaving one character for me to play. I dunno which one though... I've grown so attached to these guys, it's ridiculous. ;3; But Sean's definitely leaving. Don't worry Ark, I'll be sure to settle her thing with Zeth along with her exit.

Roy sighted. He really wanted to go home soon.
He looked at Charisa. What should i do?
Roy remembered Charisa saying something about him spinning someone.
He looked at the bottle. Ah well. Can't get worse.
He sighted again and then walked over to the bottle.
Charisa smiled at him. 'Spin it!' She called.
Roy looked at Charisa for a moment and then turned back to the bottle and spun it.
Roy watched the bottle slow down.
He looked at the person the bottle pointed at. What was her name again? .. Nadine. Right.
Roy knew Charisa and Nadine were friends before, but somehow they broke their friendship.
Roy turned to the bottle again and spun it.
The bottle stopped slowly and ended up pointing at Aphra.
And who was she again?

Glancing at the bottle as she was spun, to Roy, then back to the bottle again, Aphra raised her brows in interest as the second result turned out to be her.

"Looks like I was spun!" Aphra said chirpily. The game was starting to get a little dull for her before her new dashing new interest turned up. Now finally someone spun her. And it wasn't a girl. Someone heard her plea! Entertainment finally!

Noticing Aphra's happy face, Alex sat up, adopting a slight sulk. She WAS kind of paying attention to him, and now she had moved on. Was that girl interested in him or not? She kept coming back and convincing him that she was inlove with him, but then she'd dash off to another guy. He was so confused. What the hell is up with her? Are all women like that when they like someone? No wonder I don't date...

Watching the bottle spin lazily, Nadine looked up in surprise as it rolled to a stop, the neck pointing at her. Raising her eyes to the spinner, she smiled tentatively. Right, I have to kiss Roy. Resisting the urge to let her eyes flicker to Charisa, she grinned at Roy. This should bother her. Craning her neck around to Darren, she kissed the tip of his nose. "Hey, I've been spun."

Darren made a dull grumbling sound in response to Nadine being spun, wondering why she was getting spun so often today. Maybe it just seemed that way to him though. He almost wish he hadn't just had his turn so he could try for another spin. Maybe he'd get someone who WASN'T Alex? Atleast she didn't seem angry at him for slapping her. She bravely stood up to the sting too. The least he could do was have confidence in her.

"Ah... Ok." Darren nodded, glancing away. He wasn't ok with the kiss, but it wasn't as if Nadine was going to leave him because of it. He needed to relax a little. Putting on a braver face, Darren tried to look positive, putting his hands on his waist, "He wont be as good as me at kissing though!"

Aphra adopted a slightly red colour as Darren said that. Even she had to admit that Darren was one of her better kisses. He wasn't lying there. Darren was hardly the class of man she preferred though.

Nadine Grinned at Darren's attempted positive attitude before rolling her eyes. "Of course he won't be," she assured him before slipping off his lap and crawling to the other side of the circle where Roy was. She crossed her legs where she sat in front of him and waited. I should be enthusiastic to bother Charisa, but not overly or Darren will be upset. She debated how to kiss Roy as she waited.

((I know I promised I'd get this done over the weekend, but apparently not. 'BD Dropping by to say that I am working on it though, bit by bit, in between trying to adjust to a new class schedule (and failing miserably) and a new obsession. It's been tough. So needless to say I won't be keeping any of my characters, as much as I'd want to keep at least one. I just can't find time for it now. I might return one day... we'll see.

So yeah, Miles is up for grabs. Klavier will be too once I get this blasted dare post over with and have him strut back over to the circle.))

((I think I have a new Miles, and who was it that wanted Klavier? Ptapcc wasn't it? You'll need to wait till Nii has done the dare before you can start, but it's all good. I hope the Sean x Zeth thing can atleast sort of wrap up T.T We worked SO hard on that relationship now it's cutting short before it's climax T.T I don't mind waiting if it will happen though I guess T.T ))
