"That's all fine and good, but why? It seems like an awful lot to go through for someone you just met, after all," she said, then chuckled. "You sat in it, didn't you?" She sighed and shook her head. "You should probably go change, or something. I might have something in my house for you to change into, but trust me, you'd be far more comfortable in your own clothes."

"Whoever said anything about a dress?" Sandra asked with a slight chuckle. "I do seriously have some male articles of clothing...Not that I wear them or anything." She felt herself get embarrassed, which ticked her off. There was no shame in that! Every girl has guy clothes somewhere in her house, don't they? Belonging to a loved one that was deceased? Ah, forget it.
"The last guy who tried to be so noble died." She tried to say that casually, but she wasn't sure she succeeded at it. Sandra cleared her throat. "Trying to be a hero might get you killed someday, you know."

It might or might not be a touchy subject, but he already knew more about her than she ever wanted to divulge. Might as well know more about the guy who is so willing to save her.

Even though she could not see him, he prayed that she could feel that he was being honest.

Cynthia kept blinking fast, trying to turn back to normal. Her eyes stayed red.
"This is not going to go well." Angela mumbled to herself.
Cynthia walked away from Adam and was about to hit Angela. Angela grabbed Cynthia's hand right before it hit her.
"Cynthia snap out of it!!" Angela said.
Cynthia fainted.
