Leon stopped the car close to Kurain. He unlocked the doors and got out. He made sure his guns were loaded, which of course they were. Then he looked at Dahlia. "..I am to watch Iris, I presume watch her from afar. If you run into trouble, simply yell, I'll be there in seconds." Then he looked at his gun, his facial expression unknown due to the mask. "..and should Iris pull anything...I take out poor Mr.Wright."

Iris became worried at the sound of Leon. She worried that he would not hesitate to kill Phoenix and then blame it on something suspicious that she never did. After all, he did threaten to kill her several times the previous night. "Dahlia," she said worryingly, "what's to stop him from saying that I did something suspicious and then just killing Phoenix? He almost killed me several times last night, and he may just do it again."

"That's a very good question, dear sister." Dahlia pulled her hood over her head and checked her pistol. "I suppose you'll just have to behave and hope he doesn't do that. What happens to Phoenix Wright is of no concern to me, but if it'll make you feel any better, I promise to give Leon a serious scolding if he kills your boyfriend without a good reason," she smirked. "Now try to think happy thoughts. You don't want him to see you all upset and start wondering if something's wrong, do you?"

Leon nodded and waited for Iris to move. Once she did, he would begin stalking. "..Iris. I'm obeying Dahlia. Why would I kill Phoenix? I have no quarrel with him." Then he stood silent for a few seconds. "Dont answer that though. I dont care for an answer. Lead the way."

Iris realized that she was expected to go to Phoenix. Luckily, she had exchanged numbers with Phoenix when he had visited her during her trial for abetting in a murder. Iris asked for her cell phone from Dahlia, so that she could call Phoenix.

"Oh, but that's no fun. Didn't you want to suprise him?" Dahlia feigned bewilderment for a moment before easing into a soft smile. "Alright, alright, I guess you can have it back now." She slid her sister's cell out of her robe, opened the back cover, and removed the battery before handing the phone over. "Here you go. I already tried calling him earlier anyway, remember? So you won't be needing this part," she explained, referring of course to the now homeless battery. "Just go find him, Leon and I will be a safe distance behind you."

Iris put the battery-less cell phone in her pocket. "Well, how do you suggest getting there? I have no idea where Phoenix lives, or how to get to the city. I didn't memorize the route en route to jail."

"I'm sorry, I didn't quite catch that through the sarcasm," Dahlia smiled angelically, perfectly contrasting with a voice that could freeze the sun. "Would you care to repeat that, LITTLE sister?"

She addressed her 'bodyguard' next. "It seems our little decoy has lost her resolve, so we're going to have to change the plan," she reported, sounding disappointed. "First, we'll tie her hands and gag her, I'm growing tired of her stalling by asking stupid questions. Next, we'll have to locate the 'illustrious Mystic' Maya Fey; you did say she was the Master, right? So she should be here in Kurain. If Wright isn't with her, that simplifies things, but if he is, we offer him Iris' life for Maya's. If he won't make that trade, they all die. Does anyone have any objections?" she asked, knowing full well at least one of them would.

Leon nodded and attempted to tie and gag Iris in the back of the car. He used the parts of the seat where the fabric meets as the rope, and he did not have a gag except the windows. "..if you have a better gag Dahlia, you may, of course, use it." Then Leon tucked his guns away in his suit. "I could request a channeling. The last time I made my request I met with the master within minutes to discuss it. I see no reason why it would proceed differently today. That would locate the Fey girl, and Phoenix would be with her, should he be here." He walked over to the car and began meddling with the wires and the engine. He put a wire into the gasoline socket. "...there. This way the car becomes something of a bomb. All we have to do is break a window, or bumb the car, the wire sends a signal to the alarm, but it would get there. It will hit the gasoline tank first. Boom." He said in a grimsly voice. "...now we have a way to kill Iris fast in case negotiations do not work out as planned." he turned to Dahlia. "We have a way to find Maya, we have insurance with Iris..So what do you want to do?"

Iris was a bit shocked to be grabbed and thrown into the back of the car. Although Leon appeared dangerous the whole time, a dangerous person being near you and a dangerous person seizing you and throwing you. She could not get up in the car due to her hands being tied. The ropes dug into her painfully. She wished she could hear what was going on, but she couldn't help but think that Dahlia may have planned this from the beginning. Iris felt so frustrated that she blew her chance, and as Leon set up some unintelligible things under the car, she grew even more worried. The rope, the worry, the lack of sleep, and the loss in blood flow due to the ropes led her to faint.

(Finally. I hate RPing as Iris.)

Leon sighed. "..I presumed you could stand to lose the girl. However I strongly advise we do NOT take her with us. I'll HIDE the car and meet you back here. Is that an acceptible compromise?" Leon knew Iris was up to something. He didnt trust her, but then again, he didnt really trust anyone. Save Dahlia. Then he pulled his hair back and sighed. "...If we must take her with us, just let me keep her with me, at gunpoint, we'll stick to the shadows and make sure we are not seen, then when you need that extra...persuasive incentive...I'll show up."

Leon nodded and pulled open the door. He took out a knife and cut the cables he used to tie her up with. Then he grabbed her and held her infront of him. He pulled out his gun, but kept it mostly in his coat, so that the end of the chamber was against Iris' back. Then he looked at Dahlia for a command to start the "mission" as it were becoming.

Dahlia nodded, cleared her throat. "Please follow me, but be sure to stay out of sight," she ordered sweetly in her opposite's voice. She reached into Iris' robe to take the phone back, then followed the dirt path to inner Kurain and her cousin's manor.

I feel I must apologise on the behalf of Lee. He told me that he has been ill for nearly a week. We believed it to be mono, but I do not think it will be too serious. He should be back on very shortly.

Phoenix woke up, then rolled over to check the time. He didn't see anything, so he sat up to have his head hit the underside of the table. He had forgotten that Pearl and Maya had spent the night, as hamburgers progressed to chicken progressed to popcorn progressed to late night movie. By that time, there were no trains to Kurain, so they just slept over at the Law Offices. Phoenix groaned. What a way to start a morning. He heard Pearl chime at the thump from under the table. "Good Morning, Nick!" Phoenix struggled out from under the table. "Where's Maya?" "She's getting some breakfast. She took some of your money." "Figures."

The girl spun on her heel and walked away from Fey Manor, maintaining the sweet smile she used on Maya's attendant until she ducked down a tight path between two of the smaller homes in the village. "Lovely," she scowled. "Of all the days to be out of town... Should I just wait for her? She might be gone for the day, though, and I don't have a lot of time..."

The second is that we use Iris's phone to call Maya's cell phone. The third is reserved for last, we shoot a bullet into the air, this will cause a panic and Maya, being the leader, will have to arrive to ensure the safty of those in Kurain, as well as to see what is going on." Then he paused. "Maya is not the most cautious of people remeber."

Maya was walking back from the local take out burger joint. She was carrying three delicious smelling burgers back, one large, one small, and one extra large. For herself, of course. As she walked back she wondered about the medium that was sick yesterday, and the odd man that accompanied her after the channeling. She guessed that some people just like to stay anonymous. And have a particular nice streak toward spirit mediums. That were randomly assigned to them. Oh well, she thought, he was probably hoping to speak to their relative for as long as possible. Some people do do that. Maya then felt blessed to be able to speak to Mia whenever she wanted.

But as her thoughts drifted down that path, she felt her mind go an unwanted direction. Toward the incident, and to Dahlia. To think that she had been taken over for so long... she was glad that Dahlia didn't make her do anything like Godot had suggested during the trial. All those crimes that Maya herself was not sure of doing really scared her, and had created a permanent impression on her mind. And to think that Dahlia and Iris were related to Pearl.... Maya stopped herself.

"Wallowing in the past is what sent Dahlia through all her trauma. Why trouble myself with the past so much?" Maya thought. Still.... "I think I'll call Iris. No wait, even better, I'll have Pearly call her. Down at the office. Oh wait... is she out of prison yet? I'll have to ask Nick." She found herself, after her mind wandered, at the building for Wright and Co law offices. Maya went in.

"One and three are not options," Dahlia snapped without a moment's hesitation. She paced furiously back and forth down the vacant alley like a woman possessed, which, technically, she was. She was so certain this would be a smooth operation, an elegant distribution of vengence to the person who'd shattered her life. It all made sense in her head. So why? Why did her plans have to go wrong like this all the time? Why did the stars conspire against her even now in death? It took her an immense level of willpower to keep from screaming out loud at the heavens.

She held her forehead and propped herself against one of the walls with her arm, head down, eyes shut as she allowed the cloud of anger to pass. Once she'd spent several minutes on that, she scanned her sister's phone memory for the unlikely entry that would include Maya's number. Failing to find that, she attempted calling Phoenix again.

Leon had an idea. He walked back over to the winding way's end room and picked up Phoenix's Phone. He is wearing gloves so no big deal. He knew Maya would be on there. He answered when Dahlia called but only said "..Hello Dahlia. I'm going to get Maya, please hold on a minute." and he ran through Phoenix's contacts and found Maya. He pressed call. If she answered he would simply say "..Hello? This is officer J. Hopkins. This phone was found neer a crime sceen where a certin medium was last seen. When I saw the name of the Kurain Master, I thought you should know. It would be good if you came down here, that medium has been missing for a day or two now." Then he hung up and went back to Dahlia.

Sorry for the delay.

Maya answered the phone as she walked into the law offices, so Phoenix and Pearl could hear what she was saying. Maya placed the food down on the table, and listened to the man talking on the other side of the line. She shut her cell phone. "Phoenix," Maya said, "there's been a crime at Kurain! You remember that strange guy from the other day? Well, apparently, the medium he took care of disappeared! We need to get down there quick!" Maya felt guilty for spending the night away from the village. She felt as if she had shirked her duties as Master of Kurain Village.

"Well," Phoenix said, "we might as well get on the first train there. C'mon Pearls, we'll eat on the train." The serious manner in which Phoenix said this made Pearl concerned. "Is something wrong, Mr. Nick?" she asked. Phoenix said nothing. That man from the other day gave him bad vibes then. He hoped that that feeling wouldn't continue.

They got on the train to Kurain.

Leon watched the temporary medium in charge. When he turned away, he took out a chlorophorm cloth and knocked her out, then took her book and erased all channelings for the day. He had been sure to make sure she did not see him. Now that the channeling chamber would be unused he gaged Iris, bound her hands, and hid her in the box at the back of the channeling chamber. Now he only had a few minutes left, so he quickly ran out to the enterence to Kurain Village and prepared to meet the famed Phoenix Wright.

Phoenix, Maya, and Pearl walked into the village. Phoenix remarked, "Funny. I thought that a police car would stick out around here."

"Isn't it possible they just took the train too?" Maya replied.

"True. It is a long way away." Phoenix noticed the strange man from the other day, and got a chill up his spine. "There he is again," he thought. "Well, until we meet the officer, he's probably the best guy to ask. Even if he doesn't look the nicest type."

He spoke to Maya. "Let's ask that man from the other day about what happened."

"Are you sure, Nick?" Apparently Maya felt a little of that too. Nick looked for Pearl. He located her behind Maya. Pearl looked comfortable to be home, but uneasy at the intruder. Phoenix decided to get the anxiety over with. He walked to ten feet away from him. "Excuse me, sir, I'm Phoenix Wright. If I'm not mistaken, we met here several days ago. Could I ask you a few questions?"

Dahlia peeped around the corner upon hearing that familiar voice call out to her lackey. "Finally..." she muttered. She adjusted her hood, dusted off her robe, and cleared her throat before walking out from behind the random home hiding her, turning on a shy smile and ordering her eyes to light up in the process. Once she decided she was within audible distance from Phoenix and company, she called out to him.
"Oh, Feenie! What a suprise!" She forced a blush and fidgeted with her fingers as she approached. "I haven't seen you in so long. I...I've really missed you..." In her mind, Dahlia was giving herself such a patting on the back. Heh...still got the old charm.

Maya ran forward first, with Pearl trailing behind. "Iris!" Maya shouted. Pearl echoed the exited sentiment by jumping up to see her. "You're finally back!" Pearl shouted. Maya gave a big hug to Iris, with Pearl following soon after. "It's been too long. We need to do something today... anything!"

Phoenix watched the scene, and started to walk over. "Sorry, you'll have to excuse me for a moment. An old friend just appeared." He picked up the pace to a jog to see Iris. If he captured her attention, he would ask how she had been doing since she got out of jail.

"Mystic Maya, Mystic Pearl... How wonderful it is to see you both again." 'Iris' smiled as she held her elated cousin and sister. She turned her attention to the man walking towards her. "Feenie... Everything's been great, thank you! I'm just so happy that terrible ordeal is over now...well, actually..."
Dahlia looked back down to Maya and gave her a troubled look. "I-I spent quite some time thinking about what had happened at the temple, and...I do hate to impose, but I have a favor I'd like to ask, if you would hear me out, Mystic Maya..."

Maya looked concerned. "Aww, what is it, Iris? It's not right for you to be this down, especially after seeing an old friend." Phoenix echoed the sentiment with, "What can we do for you, Iris?" Phoenix was wary, however. He didn't want the masked man to go away and lose his best lead on this kidnapping.

"Well, you see..." Dahlia bit her lip as if she was attempting to say something difficult. "I...was wondering if you might be willing to perform a private channeling for me, Mystic Maya." She turned her head away from the group. "I...I just feel so badly for all the grief Dahlia caused your elder sister, Mystic Mia... I wanted to apologize to her personally on my sister's behalf."

Leon's eyes widened as a grin came across his face. He slowly slipped away into the backways behind the Channeling Chamber. While they would speak he slipped into the Channeling Chamber and hid behind the folding sheet, opened the box, and knocked out Iris, so she would not make noice that would reveal herself to Maya. He decided this would be a good place to be if things went wrong, but it was not his choice where he was, so he walked out and stood neer the door, keeping an eye on Dahlia.

..and thats what I intend to give her.

"W-what?!" Dahlia yelped, reeling back. Wait, did she make a mistake, or did she just lose him already? "No! No, no, that's not what I meant!" she quickly objected while waving her hands as if to dust the thought away. "I wanted to know if we could channel Mystic Mia so I could speak to her!"
She held her wrist and cast her eyes to the dirt under her feet. "I...I admit there was a time when I would have wished to see my sister again, but after what she's done...no, I would never, ever even think of asking something like that of you, or anyone!"
