Hawke flicked his wings. "Hm?" he said, flicking to his vision of the second plane. Everythign was relevtively normal... Other then the big red hole in the sky. "Fuck. What the hell is that?"
"I am Marid." said the mermaid. "Your the person in my head?" "I wasn't in your mind, I was on this plane. You cannot see it normally, Hyrda." "So how, and why, am I here?" "You came here by finding a dimensional crack rigged by me. The why is so you can learn how to master your talent, as well as provide some history into it." "Fire away."
"Firstly, a quick overview on Limits. A Limit is a power some people get. Some call it the next stage of evoloution. Most Limits are developed through families, which is how some people get similar Limits. Some Limits are stronger then others, of course. I was the original spirit to have Aquaris - our Limit - and was chosen to safeguard it, for the next in line to use it. You have it - and I will explain it."
"Aquaris is the name of one of the zodiac. Called "The Pitcher". I am supposedly the closest creature to him. Our ability allows us to control water to a great extent - we control it as a solid, liquid, or gas. Or any form in between. This Limit, unlike most, gives you a physical change when your underwater, and it's own ability. Underwater, you transform into one of two creatures adapted to underwater. You have access to only one of them. It is the beast "Demina". She has an immense swimming power, and can go through water much faster then a human. She also has gills, which is why you have the marks on your neck. The second from is a sea serpent - a far more nimble and deadly form."
"Some of the other powers I've seen near here are; The Reality-Maker. That girl with Hawke wields it, and she is stronger for his influence and her own imagination. I've seen Hawke's Mirror; one of the stronge limits. It was originally Gemini's power, as Aquaris is... um... Aquaris' power. It allows duplication of Limits, and body to the wielder. It also works with his memory and general knowledge of previous Limits. He commands many Limits through it. His wings stem from Mirror - he used the form with wings too much - the two merged together. It probably weakened his Mirror as well. I think I saw Omega; My old friend. It was Sagittarius' power, given to Omega. He is the guardian spirit of it, and I hope that the person who holds him is careful. Omega does have a lot of power. That man - Forte, I think - is deadly. He has, what the original 11 spirits (the 11 people chosen to wield the original power, not including Gemini's wielder.) call a "New Limit" - we haven't encountered it. But Mirror has copied it already... Anyway, the last power I've seen is that Nathaniel's one, the Alechemist. It was Libra's power. It has lost it's host spirit, I believe. Or they have simply dozed off... But I am more inclined to think that Nathaniel must be trained to see the second plane - I can work Alchemist as well. I just don't wield it. But that's enough history."
"Your power is entirely based off your fingers, in your right hand - of course, from now on, you'll have to want the power to happen, it won't happen like in the school. To spray water, strain your middle finger. To freeze water, fourth finger. To boil water, second finger. Simple enough. There are other powers - they are the basics. If you talk to Nathaniel - or as you have dubbed him, Natty - try to get him to a dimensional crack - I'll guide you when he wants to follow."
"That's all?" asked Hydra. "Yes, that's all I can provide now. Be careful - Hawke's power is probably unstable, as is the girl with him. Now, can you leave, if I take you back to the first plane. OK?" "Yes."
Hydra felt the pressure instantly. it hurt, but that faded. She assumed Demina's form, without thinking. She strained the little finger in her right hand, by accident. The water shot up like a geyser. She was sent up, then came out on top. She became human on contact with the air - underwater, she became Demina. As the water still was shoving up, she switched between the forms, blissfully hidden by the spray. She eventually fell as a human, and landed in the boggy mud. "Ow."

I don't think I can last any longer! Mira started swimming upward. After a certain point, his arms got tired. He then held is breath, took out some think-rubber balloons, took the tube out of his mouth, put the tube in each balloon, tying them up when full, putting the tube back into his mouth, and flowed up towards the surface of the water.

Meanwhile Forte had regained his good side and was watching, and thinking. 'Should I help there two... Even if they team up they won't be able to kill that maniac. I'll think it over, see how that fare with that psycho and if they are in a jam I'll step in to help.'

On the first one was a picture of a dead man. "MUTANT MONSTER MARAUDES."
The second, a picture of two officers, holding someone in a strait jacket. A younger Hawke. His face was only bruises. His eyes were full of tears, and he looked as if he was about to burst into tears. But that wouldn't help. The headline? "TERRORIST CAPTURED."
The third was the worst. It was a week after the Mutant Terrorist capture. It showed Hawke again. This time, he was in a small cage, and was bristing with anger. He was thinner then before, and he had deep marks in his skin. "MUTANT PUNISHED"
"You wonder why I am the way I am? Because of that! For making my little finger longer, I get mobbed. The police HELPED them. I thought back. I get tortured. For being different from the normal - and it'll happen to you."

Hawke removed his mask. It could of been some face paint. No, it was all real. The deep welts from a whip, red scars from creaures, blue scars from magic. It loked like a painting from an artist with only two colours in his palette. "So this is what evil is? Evil is what is happened to someone twisted beyond repair? If I wanted to have killed you, I would of done it earlier. No, I want to make sure you don't go the same way as I did. Now... I hardly care." he walked away. Everything must go.
Hydra watched the twisted face. It seemed impossible that it was trying to help her...
((BTW, change Hawke's alignment to Neutral, plz?))

"What happens to..." Nathaniel heard in the back of his mind. " It's what happens to those different..." the voice said, clearer. " A pity, really. He could of avoided this though if he had more control." the voice said, now clear.
"...Who is this?" Nathaniel thought to the voice.
" I am the embodiment of Libra. Collector of knowledge and useful anecdotes. Also a rather blunt person, as others have told me. And you are Nathaniel, the vessel of my power, although not fully yet. Those present are Gemini or Mirror, Aquarius; Marid, and Sagittarius; or Omega. The human dual personalities are a user of an unknown limit, which even I don't know about. As I mentioned before, you do not fully control me. The reason why is that as knowledge is ever growing, so am I, and so you must too, seeing as you can only use one of my base powers, True Alchemy, what those crazy old scientists way back when tried fruitlessly for." Alchemist concluded and Nathaniel could hear him picking up some sort of book labeled " MEMORIES" and reading it. " Hmm. Can't you make your life a bit more interesting?" he commented as he read, expression unchanging.
" ... Alchemy? You mean I can..." Nathaniel started, but was cut off when Alchemist said, " Yes, yes, you can alter solid metals. Even try it with that rod with straw at the end you've been carrying... oh, you already have. Good." Alchemist smirked and then continued reading.
" That Hawke person, is he?" Nathaniel once again began and was then finished by his Limit, " Yes, he is a good person, or good enough at least, so don't worry. Now let me read." Alchemist then scanning through the book for some sort of interesting event.
" That's good to know." he thought, and then began to walk towards Hydra and Hawke.

Hawke saw them as well. "Never a rest." he said, jumping into the air, drawing a stiltelo. He flew at one, killing him before he realised he'd taken off. Another died quickly afterwards. Then third officer drew his gun... only to find a long, green, thin tentacle protuding from his arm. "A Limit..." mused Hawke, right before the officer worked it ou, and struck Hawke with the tip of it in the stomach.
He flew through the air, not in control. He tucked his wings in. At this speed, he'd smash into the ground, smashing his wings. At least after this, he would be safer. He hit the floor, and was pushed through the dirt. He'd broken two of fingers, in his right hand. He spread his wings again, and headed back to the officer, knife at the ready. He lunged with it, and then let go - the tentacle was crushing his waist. "Ah..."
The tentacle hurled him across the lake. He smashed into a tree, and there were several loud cracking noises. The officer laughed, only to be stabbed through the back with the falling knife.
Hawke counted his injuries. 6/8 fingers broken, one thumb, several toes, a damaged neck, fractured skull, several cracked ribs, smashed up legs, and endless cuts and bruises. He noticed a hole in his wrist, over his vein. He knew that he was going to die here, and there was nothing he could do about it. He tired to get up - he couldn't. He realised his spinal coloumn was almost gone. He thought for a moment.
"If Mirror allows me to take the forms of others, what happens if I reverse it...? he thought, then set to work flipping his Mirror chant around.
'To copy' became 'to enter', 'to mirror' became 'to become'. These were just examples for it - and Hawke, after thinking the entire chant, realised he was above the lake. He looked down, and saw his own body dying. He looked at his hands. A pale blue of his former self. He was invisble to the group for now... And he felt the wind change direction. It was coming from above... Far above...
((Nobody do anything about the wind. I'm getting a new villian.))
