Thomas drifted a bit, and came to where Jay and Humphrey were talking, "What are you talking about," he asked, then shook his head and said, "Why am I even asking, it's about me isn't? I mean, why else be in the court room..." Thomas trailed off a bit, then sighed, "Never mind, sorry for interrupting you two, I'm a bit distraught at the moment..."

"Whoa! Maya! Are you okay? Sir, you really need to watch where you're going," Jeremy warned. "Please tell me your name and everything you know. Let's go into the prosecution lobby." He said that last sentence as softly as he could (not wanting Thomas to hear), while walking towards that area with a beckoning hand.

Jay heard the door of the prosecution lobby open and saw Jeremy coming in, beckoning some others behind him. "Let's go into a private room, guys. We need to talk," Jay stated firmly, seeing Thomas had entered the room as well.

"That night Miss Violetta and her father Master Thomas Were argueing, as they did quite often, but as a servant I don'y involve myself in their quarrels, it is not my place. That night they were argueing in Miss' Bedroom, when her friend Master James came by. I had been ordred by My master not to let anyone in, and I told the young man as such, but his agility got the best of me, and he leapt past me and up to Her room, saying some jibberish to get me in trouble again, the cheeky boy, heh heh heh. Anywho, I gave chase as best I could. I saw him open the door to see the two in a fight. I saw past Sir James to see My master raise his arm, whilst stomping forward, then there were some loud sounds, and Miss Violetta was on the floor....... I.... I really don't remember much past that...."

Thomas sighed again, "I don't know... honestly, I don't see a point in whether I'm guilty or not, there's no point at all..." Thomas started fiddling with his detective's badge, "You know, the badge she wore was a family heirloom... she was supposed to follow the family tradition... be a great detective, you know... one of the best..." He unpinned it and held it safely in his hands, "She had it always with her... I just... can't believe she's gone... and what's even worse, someone who loved her dearly is taking the blame for a complete accident... I would hate if I died, and my Letta was pinned for an accident..." Thomas sighed again. He was sighing way to much, but what else could he do?

'Fehh... Wear a mask all you want, Mr. Blu, but I won't fall for it. I know what lies beyond the veil... and it ain't pretty,' Jay thought to himself, glancing over in his direction while taking down the testimony. "Thank you, Mr. Serv. I'll be looking this over later," Jay said as Humphrey finished his explanation. His bracelet glowed softly in the presence of Thomas, for some reason.

Jeremy was wandering around, looking around at the faces of the people in the room, seeing if he could catch anything interesting. 'That Thomas guy really wants to make a point that he's not guilty. And if I didn't know... I'd believe him! He'd have made a good actor, that one.'

"P-Pearly? I'm not Pearly!!!" James looked in front of him, he saw a woman wearing the Magatama, "O-Oh, I'm terribly sorry!!!" James got up and ran inside the Prosecution Lobby, he heard a man's voice call out to him but he didn't want to hear it. "W-Wait!!!" James stopped and turned around, "W-Wait up!" He saw the girl who was mistakened by Pearl yelling. "H-How do you know Pearls?" Maya asked. James looked up, "Letta..." Maya, saw James in pain as he said the victim's name. "Oh...Pearly's friend, Oops, I haven't introduced myself! I'm Maya Fey, I'm Pearl's cousin and head master of Kurain village!" James looked at her, "You're Maya?" He smiled, "Letta told me all about you! When we were at the park!" James put out his hand, "J-James Veld! Nice to meet you!" James was now happy, then the man who was calling out came inside the room and closed the door.

"Maya!" Jay called out. He walked over and saw a man next to her. It was the man that had knocked her down. "Sir, would you mind telling me who you are and what you know about this case? Detective Jay Slezak," Jay explained the situation.

Jeremy was still trying to take down notes of what he saw and heard, but he wasn't getting much. 'I wonder where Mr. Blu's defense attorney is? Shouldn't he be here by now? Y'know... to defend his client?' Jeremy scratched his chin as he continued to meander around.

Humphrey was left alone again..... he waited for his time to testify, he would have little to do till then.... And when that time came...

He was nervous. He believed his master, but his last request seemed.... wrong...

He rifled through his pockets for the "gift" he had delived to Sir James..... but it was gone! he knew he had it with him when he came here today.... that little wooden club.... He must have dropped it..... He had to find it, he was to return it to his Master before the trial...

He frantically searched the area.... it had to be around...

Humphrey heard the call, and most of the people in the area were fumbling their way into the courtroom. He still hadn't found the Sap, that club he had unortunately used on Sir James, but he had run out of time....

He couldn't find it, so he calmly walked his way into the courtroom to await his testimony.

Andrew rolled his eyes and gently picked Phoenix up. He put him on a couch that was somewhat near the door, and checked his pulse to make sure he was alright, "This kid mental or something?" he mumbled to himself, "Kid, wake up, really, wake up." He sighed and went to get a cold cloth, and came back with one.

Jay and Jeremy heard the call to enter the courtroom and they went in. With their authority as detectives, they were able to converse with the prosecution and defense attorneys if they so chose to. They decided to let Phoenix know what was up. They walked in and up to Phoenix's bench.
"Nick, listen up," Jay began, talking softly so only those very close would hear, "I don't really believe Thomas Blu accidentally killed Violetta... I know he did it. I'm sure of it... Letta told me herself... Unfortunately, I have no way to prove it. No evidence... Sorry to say this, Phoenix, but the man you're defending is obviously guilty... In fact, he's so guilty, you must've been forced to defend him... Why else would you have made such a dumb decision? No offense meant, by the way."
"We wish we could help," Jeremy added, "Because I know you know he's guilty... If only there was some way..." He trailed off.

((Need some advice on what to do. Make something up? Jump behind the defense's bench and act as aides? Become witnesses? I'm not sure how to continue this.))

((Vi passed the ghostly bouton over to me, so I guess I'm playing her...))
A whisper of voices came from the court room. In the back, hidden in the shadows, two silvery figures were silently watching the court preparing for a trial. The moment when it started grew nearer, and the figures could see whispering and agitated people all around. 'He can't be guilty, I've known him for years,' a short pudgy man said, 'Thomas is a great man, I believe he's not guilty, and if he truly was guilty, why would Phoenix Wright take his case?' The figures listened to the theories, like, 'It was him, I know it. He has a cold black heart, that man, it's just covered by a white sweater. It makes him seem warm, but he isn't, trust me on that...' One of the figures longed to go into the middle of the court, but she was held back by the other figure. 'You can't go up, you know, not in the full light,' the figure started, feeling the need to explain, 'It's not good for you... just sit an wait, the time will come.'
'I don't want it to come,' the other figure replied back, her silvery clothes wrinkling as she shifted side to side, 'I want to go now!'
The other figure, which was much taller than the one who had just spoken, shook her head and said, 'You can't really go until this court is done, so just sit back and be patient... Patient, ok, patient.'

((Go go gadget paranormal-phenomena detecting bracelet that isn't a deus ex machina because I've told people before that it can do that.))

'What the...?' Jay felt a tingling sensation. The aura of the room had changed. He could swear he heard voices and the bracelet was glowing brighter still. 'It seems to be detecting something... but what?' Jay got out the sketchbook with the green ribbon yet again and leand against the defense's bench, perusing the pages to see if he saw anything interesting.
"You're sure obsessed with that book, aren't you?" Jeremy asked in a whisper.
"Well yeah, it was a gift from the late Letta herself... And this is her case, so why SHOULDN'T I be 'obsessed' with it?" Jay retorted.
"Touché," Jeremy replied.

The figures were still in the shdows, stilently waiting. The taller one, was patient, but the smaller one was still fidgeting and growing restless. 'Why am I here?' she asked the taller figure, 'Who are you? Why are you here?'
The taller figure looked down and sighed, 'I'm simply here to guide you, if you need to call me anything call me Friday, for that was the day I died.' Friday curiosuly looked at the court room. It was taing a long time for the trial to start, an she feared the worst in her little friend. 'Oh...' the smaller figure said, 'I'm Violetta. I know this is his case and all, but why do I need to do this?'
'Because you need to see if this man is Guilty or Not Guilty.' Friday said wearily. She was getting annoyed with Violetta's answers. 'Wait and be PATIENT.' She put emphazise on the word patient, and gave Violetta a stern look.
'But-'
'No questions asked,' Friday said, cutting Violetta off and giving her another stare. Violetta anxiously looked out. She could see Thomas, Phoenix, but nothing past that. She wished she could see better, but her sight was hazy.
She had so many questions, bu she knew she'd figure them out on her own easily over time. And with the way this trial was starting up, she knew she had plenty.
