(OOC: Sorry Allan, I met 104 instead of 101 in my profile? Could you change that? Thanks. ^_^)

A small girl sat on the rooftop on 104. She was dressed in a cute maid's outfit, and could be no more then 12. With black, yet small wings on her back, and brown curly hair, she floated swiftly down to see 104's latest poster.

"Gothic Lolita is the latest trend? Hm, maybe I can add a few new ribbons to my collection! Tee hee!" She giggled before turning around to face in the direction of Scramble Crossing.

"Hm, Day 3 already...haha, this is gonna be SO fun! I wonder if there are any really cute male players around..." She squealed before touching the ground.

But first, she decided to enter 104 to acquire those ribbons she so wanted.

"Begone!" A shout from within Scramble Crossing - a momentary pause, then racing Noise symbols, charging through black-and-white symbols in a heartbeat, before the reality of the symbols set in - as if from nowhere, a sword appeared within the confines of the cone-like shape the Noise symbols formed. The skewered taboo Noise continued their movements towards Vita - who the Noise and sword had come from, it seemed - who did nothing more then smile. "Heh. Feel the pressure." There was a slight buzzing sound as the blade shot back through the cone like a spring, the symbols now following the sword back into the air - as it did so, the Taboo Noise blinked and shattered into pieces of static. Vita turned on his heels, smashing his scythe across the sneaky Taboo frog in a heartbeat. "Fleas. Come, fleas - show me where your poison originates and let me destroy it!"

((Right, I'm back. I don't see the point of a flashback just now, but you can have one if you want one, BM.))

"Wh-whaaaa?" Mari woke up suddenly, stretching her arms. Brett didn't seem to be awake yet. She hoped he was okay, he really had taken a nasty dive. She looked around the scramble, at the sleeping forms of the other Players, some older, and some younger than she. Mari thought she saw a little boy, aged around 8, and her heart clenched. How could they put an 8 year old through this? She bit her lip, and started when the message arrived. Skimming it, she found herself wondering what the hell Taboo Noise were. Deciding to see if she could discern them from other Noise, Mari activated her Player Pin in the hopes of seeing one. But she didn't notice the black shape creeping up behind her until it was too late-

"BREEETTT!!!"

Himiko had a shopping bag with her as she floated across to Vita.

"So, uh, I haven't been told what these Noise are! They seem kinda fun, but can't be if they're attacking one as dreamy as yourself!" A slight frown creased Himiko's face as she turned to face the spot where Vita had vanquished them.

The next morning, Brett felt much better. His leg seemed to have healed a lot, but it still hurt. He almost slept in, but Mari's yell told him to think otherwise. Getting up as quickly as he could, (and almost as painfully), he saw Mari get jumped by a jet black creature. As he ran over, he readied his pins for battle. He muttered a quick, "Mari, next time, can't you just kick me?" just when he was getting teleported into his zone.

"Thank you for the compliment." Vita turned his head slightly to face Himiko. "...Himiko Daisuke, was it? Good to see you - these little works of art are Taboo Noise. They are typical Noise with a few extra elements; like the colour scheme and their increased strength. As well as that, they ignore the pacts that Players form - they do wonders for eliminating Players; indeed, if they didn't attack Reapers as well as Player, I would make them myself. This lot - no idea where they came from, cropped up during the end of Day 2 and swarmed over the Underground. Most Reapers have been told to get rid of them and find out where they are spawning from. No luck so far, or I wouldn't be rooting them out here." He heard a faint scuttling behind him - he instinctively pulled out the gun hidden in his coat and turned on his heels once more and pulled the trigger of the gun, erasing the Noise easily. "Sorry for that," he said, turning back to Himiko.

Terminus opened his eyes as the crab Noise was erased by Vita. The gun, the shape of the face - hell, even the shape of the face itself, the stance... they all seemed familiar to him. "Who... are you?" he checked his phone in a blind panic. "...Taboo Noise?"

"They attack Reapers?! How is that even possible?!" Himiko exclaimed in surprise.

But then...a small smile formed on Himiko's face.

"Weeeeell...it can't be easy trying to find these Taboo Noise and be Game Master...how about this? You take a day off to try and find the source and you can make me an honorary Game Master for the day!" She could see doubt in his eyes.

"Ah come on, I've been bored sooooo much! Hee hee! And I can really shake things up for the players, it'll be fun! I can do it!" She added, a bit of a desperation to her tone at her last sentence.

"Hm." Vita paused for a moment, as if evaluating the advantages of allowing someone else to become the Game Master, even if for one day. "On one hand, you are a little too young and possibly reckless. On the other hand, you seem to have a clean record." He paused for another moment, before raising his hand, clenching it in a fist, holding his thumb sidewise. He quivered his thumb downwards, symbolising that he did not approve, before raising the thumb up until it was vertical in the air. "Very well. Let me see here..." he rummaged in a pocket for a moment, before pulling out a British coin. He inspected it for a moment, before flipping it into the air, as it shone with a white light. He caught it and handed it to Himiko. "This coin has some properties of being a Game Master imbued within it. Firstly, don't lose it; secondly, you cannot set a mission for today due to the emergency protocol; thirdly, if this falls into the hands of anyone else, alert me through my phone; finally, the powers are only temporary and might not work in some cases. If a Reaper needs help from the Game Master, see if you can help and if not, refer them to me. That should be all, have fun with it." Vita walked in the general direction of the Dept. Store, until Terminus stood back up and grabbed onto his forearm.

"Stay for a moment!" called Terminus, rather unnecessarily. "What is it?" asked Vita, without turning his head. "Look at me! Do I know you?" asked Terminus, practically shouting the Game Master's ear. Vita turned to look at him - another wave of déja vu from Terminus - Vita paused for a moment, before his eyes widened for a second, before turning into an expression which expressed pure rage and hate. "You!" Vita placed a hand on Terminus' chest - in a moment, there had been a loud bang; Terminus was flying through the air, showing some signs of static along his chest. He hit the ground hard but nothing seemed broken; then again, it didn't seem quite right that his arm had some static on it that faded quickly. "Scum don't deserve a second chance!" the annoyed Game Master stormed towards the Dept. Store, practically causing a storm of negative emotions among the people in the RG as he walked by them.

"W-what was that about...?" asked Terminus, before kneeling, clutching his chest.

Himiko clapped her hands and jumped up and down, almost tearing the coin out of Vita's hands.

"YAAAAY!" She gave such a loud cry that several people felt an expression of excitement in the RG and turned around, as if they had heard her.

"Thankyouthankyouthankyou! I won't mess up, I promise!" Vita then walked off and she witnessed the scene between him and another guy. She was scared by Vita's actions and was keen to leave...buuut...

"Hm, I wonder where the players all are? I'd like to get as many as possible involved into today's fun game! Tee hee!" She giggled.

Yumiko frowned, her brow furrowing. What's all this about Taboo Noise? she thought. Shrugging, she caught a glimpse of two Reapers. She squinted. she could make out a man and a girl. She knew for sure that the man was the Game Master. She 'hmph'ed. She hadn't actually met this Game's GM. The girl... She couldn't have been ober thirteen. Yumiko smiled gently. Kids didn't get the usual Yumiko treatment. She walked slowly over to them. "'Sup," she said casually.

As Himiko was deep in thought, she didn't at first notice another reaper was trying to talk to her. She turned around and merely saw a girl in her late teens looking at her.

"What do you want, old hag?" She spoke spitefully. She wasn't all that fond of older women due to her childish personality.

Yumiko raised an eyebrow. "Old...hag?" she grumbled. "I'm eighteen!" she said, more than a little angrily. "That's, what, five years older than you? Hardly old!" Yumiko scowled. She'd only known this kid for ten seconds, and with six words the girl had already gotten Yumiko angry. "How long've you been a Reaper?" she said, confident that she'd have more experience than the younger girl.

Mari yelped as she landed in her zone. There were Noise all around her, and they were... Black? She instantly was wary, but she activated Murasame, and slashed a frog. It seemed undamaged, and Mari bit her lip, wondering what she should do. But the Noise were attacking from every direction, so she had no choice but to fight. She hacked and slashed, but nothing seemed to work...

...Until she received the light puck. She found she was much stronger, and erased a frog Noise. But all too soon the light puck was passed back to Brett. She collapsed to her knees, breathing heavily.

The black noise were tougher than anything Brett had faced thus far. They were big, angry, and you really had to squint if they hid behind something. He got a few into a corner with his Ice Risers, and when he had to switch to Natural Magnum, they took a beating. That is, until one got an attack on Brett's leg, causing him to nearly come to the ground in pain. The remaining Taboo Noise crowded around him, he could barely get a shot in.

Then the green ball of light passed by. He got a shot in there that allowed him to rapid fire his pin. He switched to Burning Cherry, and focused his attack on a single frog. The puck flew away, but he'd done enough damage by then to erase the frog himself. From the opening, he crawled out and continued his attack.

((Sorry about this but I'm doing a very, very long post as I need to do the flashback and as well as today's stuff so be prepared for the mountain of text that's happening...))

Max woke up with the usual sounds of the Scramble Crossing. Getting up, he saw that the others had already started moving about. Unfortunately for him, Mimi was still out. With that, Max sighed as he looked across the Scramble. A ringing noise notified him that he had mail. Opening the phone, he found that he had several messages. 'That's odd. Usually, it's one message per day. Not a bunch in one day though...'

Opening the first one, he was greeted with Inficio's smiling mug. 'You bastard....' Max though as he played the video message. "You have completed your task, so let me offer you a slight reward. You see those Imperator Pins? They enhance combat ability at the exchange of tiring you out. Attached to this video will be another video, which I recommend you watch as soon as possible; it will show you the power of the pin, but you do not need to wear it but if any Player does not possess one at the end of any Day - even Day Seven, they will not be able to finish that Day and will be erased. Now, enjoy the other video and good luck with tomorrow's mission, plebs."

Max's eyebrows rose a bit at the end of the message. 'A pin that we need to have on ourselves. So I'm assuming that he's doing this in order to 'weed out' the weak from the strong.' Looking at the jet-black pin, he felt a kind of heaviness emanating from the pin. 'So that's why. The pin emanate a kind of boost for the Player at the cost of physical strength. Something Inficio had highly regarded the most important trait in anyone...' With that, Max pinned the black pin on him. 'Even if we're not suppose to wear it, I think it'll be much safer pinned on as I can easily lose it if I'm not careful. Whatever it is, I can't let anyone down. Not even Mimi as she wants to get out ASAP...'

With that, Max scrolled down to the next message. This time, it was just a normal text message. On it, it read "Emergency Mission 003 - Survive the Day. Erase Taboo Noise where possible, aid the Game Master in any spoken task he gives you.

The first thing Max noticed was the sender. It wasn't Inficio but the Automated Emergency Protocol. 'That's very very odd. Usually and very rarely does the Protocol need to step in...unless something has gone very very wrong. Taboo Noise? Maybe they're out of control or something else is interfering with the Game but who or what?' Max looked down at Mimi who was still soundly asleep. 'Damn, I can't stay here for very long as Taboo Noise have a habit of seeking out Players and with Mimi out, I'm a dangerous position.' With that, Max lifted Mimi gently and ran straight out of the Scramble Crossing whilst carrying her like a baby.

A few moments later, Max deposited Mimi on the bench near the Statue of Hachiko. 'Okay, we should be safe for the time being until Mimi wakes up. Once she does, we need to survive this day.' Max felt a pang of regret and sadness as he repeated the goal of today. 'Survive at any cost...but...' Shaking his head, Max looked at Mimi's peaceful face which calmed his nerves. 'No. There are those you can save and those that you can't save. It's either one or the other. Mimi is relying on you and you need to focus on her survival. After all, she has someone that she wants to see and it's not you buddy.' Sighing, Max sat on the bench as he focused his eyes on the pigeons pecking on the discarded sandwich on the floor. 'Am........have I really earned it? Have I really done enough to stop this torture inside?' But inside, the memories kept reeling as all the people he's met over the years played throughout his mind.

Max looked to the skies as the sunny beat lit everything round them. He looked at Mimi. She was rather cute and high spirited but then again....'Miria...' Looking again at Mimi, he thought again for a bit before placing his hands on hers. He wondered if it was worth it being a hero for so long. He looked back at the skies, hoping as if something will tell him otherwise. But nothing did. Sighing, Max sat back with the questions constantly repeating in his mind...

Hikaru's sleep was suddenly pierced by this sound.
"I don't wanna get up..." he said groggily. The noise persisted, he groaned and sat up, wiping sleep from his eyes.
"What is it?" he reached round to his pocket and pulled out his phone. He pulled it out and activated the voice function.

"Oh shit" he had no idea what taboo noise where, but they defiantly didn't sound good.
Suddenly he felt a dark presence behind him.
"Kendall!?" he shouted before he was transported to battle.

Takai hated when the day switched when you where doing something. He'd been planning to be spend some time in the RG.

He swung it around in his hand before jumping

No relation to him..." she muttered, not aware that she was speaking out loud. She took another deep breath to regain her composure. "Twelve?" she said in her usual manner. "Four years. Hardly enough to call me grandma." She chuckled. "Yumiko Takahashi." She smiled grimly. "I have to agree with you," she said darkly. “Being a Reaper is....exhilarating.” She blinked, and tilted her head to the side. “Why should today be fun? Oh... The Taboo Noise. They’ll destroy half of the Players, most likely...” She nodded. “Fun indeed.” Yumiko grinned. “Ah. You like to float, I see.” She grinned. “I, personally, don’t like flying. That’s why I don’t flaunt my wings...”

Kendall awoke to the sound of her cell ringing. She groaned. “Ugh...” She sat up slowly. Hikaru was already up and about; it seemed he was checking his cell. She did the same. “Emergency...? Taboo Noise...? Shit, this doesn’t sound good...” She turned, and came face-to-face with one of the beastliest Noise she had ever seen. She let out a piercing scream. “Hikaru!” she shouted. Then she felt herself transported into battle. She pulled out a pin and began blindly attacking. She had no idea what she was doing. It was like fear had made her stop thinking. But it had awakened something inside of her. Each and every one of her attacks was flawlessly executed, and they each hit their mark. Terror had made Kendall a formidable fighter. "Well, Yumiko, Taboo Noise seem kinda fun. But they're tougher, and attack Reapers as well as Players! But the real reason today is gonna be great is this!"

She held out the british coin Vita had given her earlier.

"See this? That hunk of a game master gave it to me! He's gonna try tracking down the Taboo Noise while I take over as Game Master for the day! YAAAAAAY! Every player will have to do as I say because I'm Game Master!" She cheered.

"There! Done! Don't I look even cuter?" She spoke, putting a finger to her face in a dazzling kind of way.

"I'm not tired," Yumiko sighed. "I'm bored. There's nothing better to do!" She rolled her eyes. "It's a teenager thing." She grinned. "Yes, Himiko. You look fine." She sat up and yawned. Frowning, she looked ot her wrist. "Dammit." She slid off her spiked bracelet. "One of the spikes came off!" She showed the younger girl the offending empty spot on the bracelet. "C'mon," she said, standing up. "I need a new one."

"O-o-oh...ok..." Himiko looked at the ground and continued on, crestfallen.

When the pair arrived at 104, they could see a mad group of girls all around someone...Himiko gasped.

"..OmigoshomigoshomigoshomigoshomigoshOMIGOSH!!!!" She screamed at the top of her lungs.

"IT'S HIM! THE PRINCE! EIJI OJI! HIS BLOG "F EVERYTHING," GETS 100,000 HITS A DAY! AND NOW HE'S IN THE FLESH! LOOK AT HIM, YUMIKO! THAT GORGEOUS BLOND HAIR! THAT HOT POSE! HIS HANDSOME FACE! I BET HE'S RIPPED AND HAS A SIX PACK UNDERNEATH!" Hearts appeared in Himiko's eyes.

"I'VE JUST GOTTA GET A PICTURE!" She screamed, and yet there seemed to be no end to the volume of her voice.
