Strone picked up his sheated sword and placed it on his back, locking in the straps and grabbing his bag as the last of the fire died away. Strone fixed his armor and hair a bit to look more presentable.

"Alright, the sooner we get there the better I suppose. I havent seen anything reguarding search parties for us so we should have a clear track ahead of us."

Strone started to walk ahead but close to Lis

"Stay close to me...we will be hitting less friendly fields shortly"

Jeremiah pulled out her staff.
"I hope we don't come across any bandits or anything like that," she commented, following Strone. "Good thing there aren't any search parties yet. If seen with the princess, assuming they recognize her..." I don't see how they wouldn't. Even with her hair cut short, her beauty is unmatched. "We'll all be considered traitors."

Jeremiah laughed. "Just because there is the possibility of danger doesn't mean you have to be so jumpy. You know any enemies we come across will tell you're afraid, be they human or beast. And they will always go after the one that shows their fear first because that would tell them that you're the weak one of the group. Whether or not you think that's true, don't show that to anyone or anything else and relax."

"Heh dont scare her now Jeremiah, then again most would probably want to stay away from me at most costs if they're a weak bunch of foes, so just stay close to me and your more safe from those scary fiends haha"

Birds flew above them as the bright blue sky without a cloud in sight. The short breeze that was blowing before has stopped.

Some near by animals running around or looking for food. None of them bothering the traveling group.

"Few years ago I was just living the best I could in the poor district in town, Getting into fights with guards and such do to their desire to make the poor have worse lifes by being bullied and such. And then of course me joinning the knights because of kicking ther grunts arses....hmm"

Simon chimed in with his story. "I grew up not owning much, but I had a family that loved me. When I was of age, my father left me with one bit of advice before I left." "I love life, and son, I want you to love it too!" Simon took a softer expression. "Those were his dying words, and I carry them with me. They are stronger than any hunting trick, focusing technique, or any magic that I know of. I never found a real house, but local tribes were kind, not to mention the inns of the kingdom!"

Simon then laughed. "As for love, the townsfolk give me plenty. The children, the animals...and the occasional looks from women...heh. They keep me going."

"That's sweet." Lis said, "I wish my father was more like yours. The last thing my father said to me was: 'You're marrying the prince and that's final!' After that, I said I wasn't speaking to him ever again and I ran to my room and threw a flower vase."

Lis thought she heard some voices, so she listened closely.

"Oi, that girl right there looks weak. She should be easy to take." a bandit said to his companion.

"Yeah, but that knight-looking one there might be some trouble." His companion replied.

"What are you worried about? You're the best swordsman I know! We'll attack on three. One..... Two.... Thr-"

Just then, Lis fired an arrow twoards the voices, it skimming the first bandit's head. "Show thy self!"

((If you guys want to be the bandits, go ahead. I actually don't really want to be them.))

"Show thyself? Hahaha! Why would we do that?" one bandit jeered. Jeremiah recognized the voice and paled.
"Ooh, look. We scared someone. And we didn't even do anything yet!" the second one said excitedly.
"THREE!" the first bandit shouted and they both jumped down from the trees at the group.
((Trying to take over for them. I hope no one minds.))
Jeremiah wheeled around, swinging her staff at one bandit, who grabbed it and yanked it out of her hands.

Lis grabbed another arrow from her quiver (10 - the one she shot - the one she has now = 8 in quiver.) and aimed at the bandit who took the staff. She pulled the string back and fired.

((You can decide if it hits or not. BTW, I'm going to be taking note how many arrows lis has for myself. I know I'm going to forget.))

The bandit blocked the arrow with Jeremiah's staff and ran towards the princess. Jeremiah jumped into the way and pulled out her sword.
"Don't...Touch her," she said.
"You look familiar somehow, small fry," the bandit responded, swinging the staff expertly. Jeremiah limboed under the blow. Then she got back up and started swinging her sword, which the bandit dodged easily. Meanwhile, the other bandit landed in front of Strone...
((I hope I can make these guys a bit of a challenge. O_O))

Strone drew his sword as the bandits attacked, He noticed how The princess was their main target. Strone saw as Jeremiah was focusing on one with the support of the princess on the side, the Other bandit appeared in front of Strone. Strone laughed.

"You are fools."

Strone slashed his sword at the bandit, the bandit clashed with his own sword and the two were having a clash, sparks flew between the swords as each fought for balance and force. Strone under estimated the bandit and found himself falling foward a little, laughing at this fact strone fell to the ground, the force the bandit was using caused him to tumble over strone and the bandit rolled back to his feet as strone got to his.

"Heh didnt see that little trick did you Bandit?"

The Bandit gritted his teeth.

"I will not be made a fool!!!"

Strone smirked and taunted him by using his left hand to do a "Bring it" motion.

The bandit dodged, but not without the arrow clipping some of his hair as Jeremiah swung the sword at him again. It was never clearer that the one with the sword was a novice with the blade.
"Man, you really suck," the bandit said, blocking the blow with Jeremiah's staff. "But at least your staff doesn't." Jeremiah gritted her teeth and threw her sword in the air. The bandit was confused for a moment, so she punched him in the face and grabbed her staff back. The bandit dove for the sword.
"Bad choice, Missy. I'm much better with a sword than I am with a staff," the bandit said, swinging at her. And the fight began in earnest. She blocked or deflected his every blow, and he dodged her attacks. They both moved very quickly, each focusing on beating the other. Their positions were constantly changing.
Seeing his partner was in trouble, he grabbed a dagger and threw it at Jeremiah before turning around and attacking Strone.

Simon smirked "Well then, time for me to teach you a bit more about my father!" Simon got into a crouching position and lunged at the man, rusty dagger drawn. He grabbed the bandit by the throat, in almost a wrestling fashion, and threw him to the ground. With knife drawn, he grew closer and began talking. "Unless you want your companion dead, I'd suggest stopping soon!...Wait a sec"

Simon looked at Jeremiah

"MISSY? YOU'RE A GIRL? WHAT NOW?"

The dagger hit Jeremiah right in the leg.
"Oof...Missy? I don't know what you're talking about," Jeremiah lied as the man swung his sword and she blocked again.
"Hahaha! Just because you changed your voice and hair didn't mean I wouldn't recognize the little hermit girl that cost us our camp," the bandit responded. "You never could hide the expression in your eyes. Maybe if you never escaped, we wouldn't be attacking your friends right now." Taking advantage of Simon being distracted, the bandit tripped him and pointed his sword down at Simon.
"Don't move or I'll kill him." Jeremiah stared, wide-eyed. There was a growling in the distance. It was coming closer.
"LOOK!" she screamed. The bandits both turned, and Jeremiah thrust her staff into the first bandit, who fell flat on his face.
"Did you ever learn not to fall for the oldest trick in the book?" she asked jeeringly.

Strone wasnt quick enough to pervent the thrown knife to hit his friend,
Strone picked up Simon and threw him to the side.
"No offense, but I don't want you to have anothers blood on your hands"

Strone then swung his sword at the bandit he was facing, using the blunt side to smack the bandit, The bandit flew a distance before crashing hard to the ground, Blood dripping from his mouth, few teeth missing too, Strone walked to him as the bandit got up and darted at Strone with his sword ready, Strone and the bandit clashed off again, Ready this time Strone pushed with all his force and knocked the bandit off his feet, the bandit backed away quickly fearing for his life, Strone walked closer to him, ready to finish one of them. The fallen bandit, sweating knowing his time was near reached into his pocket and threw 2 knives at Strone, the first one hitting his right hand. slightly cutting it, the other hitting his chain mail and deflected off, Strone looked at his hand when the Bandit got to his feet and lunged at Strone, strone looked up quickly only to be stabbed right on the left side of his chest, breaking a bit of the chainmail, stabbing through his flesh, blood started to drip from the hole as the bandit pulled his sword laughing, Strone fell to his knees dropping his sword and holding his chest where he was attacked. Panting heavily he looked up at his attacker, a manic grin on the bandits face, Strone closed his eyes as he prepared for his last few secoends of life. He sensed the bandit was going in for the kill when Strone suddenly kicked the bandits legs, causing him to lose balance, Strone weakly grabbed the falling bandit around the neck, chocking him, Grabbed the bandits right arm and Snapped the bone, causing the manic smile to turn into a ear pericing cry of pain. Strone kept his grip around the bandits neck.

"Stop now unless you truely wish for your friend to die. I have crippled him but I can just as easily finish him off"

Strone called to the other bandit who was fighting Jeremiah. Strone increased the grip on the bandit, As blood kept falling down strones armor.

"S-Strone, you're..." Jeremiah began. The bandit stared at her, a tortured expression on his face. Then, he held up his hands, but not before whistling.
"Wh-what did you do?" Jeremiah asked. The bandit being held by Strone laughed.
"He just called our clan. Ten bandits will be here in a matter of minutes, followed by twenty...You stand no change now!"

Strone stood gripping the neck tighter.

"Well shame then, by the time they get here....You'll be dead. and we will be gone..."

Strone Stepped forward as a loud snap was heard and the body Strone was holding fell to the ground motionlessly. The expression his face was his twisted manic smile again. Strone weakly limped to his sword and weakly limped towards The princess and Jeremiah.

"We have to hurry before they come, Dont worry about me, our priorty is getting "Rose" Out of here."

"You...Ugh..." Jeremiah replied, trying to get back up. "Er..." Mind over matter. Picture yourself getting out of here. Far away...Where you will be called "Lady Jeremiah" and you won't have to be disguised as a man just to get respect. She got up, even though it hurt, and began using her staff as a crutch.
"NO!" the other bandit screamed, going over to his brother. It still looked like he was alive, the color still hadn't faded yet. If the bandit didn't know any better, he would have thought his brother was asleep, having a good dream. "Why? All I did was..." He began crying.
"Let's leave him alone. He's been through enough suffering," Jeremiah said. Then, she turned to Strone, confidently. "I am not leaving you behind. Or letting you die. Rose, Simon, you two get out of here as quickly as possible. Run as fast as you can. Strone and I will be right behind you." Jeremiah began limping, using her staff as a crutch still, over to a tree. "No medical herbs, but at least I can cover your wounds..."

"Never, without Strone we can't go one..." Simon Removed his entire cloak, revealing various bite marks and scratches. "But if we must, use this to cover his wounds. I'll wait with the princess...just one more thing..." Simon then turned to the weeping bandit "You know, I don't appreciate you trying to kill me sir...so the very least I can do..." Simon plunged the rusty dagger into the man's spine. Jamming it in as far as he could "If you die, at least you may see your brother...and maybe you won't! MAybe You'll just never walk again!" He laughed as if he had just told a joke. He then took the much better, obviously stolen, dagger from him. He then played a funeral tune before leaving. "Don't take to long." He went over to "Rose"

If Justice is blind, then Truth shall lead. Together they will find Liberty.

"Jeremiah I want you to go with Rose instead of waiting for me, Your in better shape then me at the moment so they get attacked you will be there with them, I trust you."

Strone limped.

"I will slow you down, I wont stay here and fight to buy you time but you guys just get a head start. The bandits will be coming from the East, Luckily we are going North, we should be able to get enough distance before their backup comes."

Strone took Simons cape

"Thanks.

Strone while walking removed his bloody chainmail, his bare chest with exposed as a wound was seen bleeding, using Simons cloak he wrapped it around his cheat tightly and pulled his armor back on.

"It will stop the bleeding at least for now, enough to get to safety and not die"
