With an idle sigh, Kristoph straightened in his seat. The teen drama that had been imposing didn't really interest him in the slightest - quite the contrary, he found it rather tedious. Why should teenagers kick up such a fuss over such trivial matters? None of them would make good lawyers with such emotional and physical outbursts.

He held his arms in front of him, shaking his sleeves down slightly before reaching for the bottle, pausing with his hand a few inches away. He smiled charmingly around at everyone. "Well then, shall I take my turn?"

"It's about time. " Miles said, "I was getting incredibly annoyed about those teenage monkeys... Please, amuse me." Miles grabbed some water and waited.

((All long as you know Nadindi- no matter how many join the circle, you have to spin Miles. Godot hasn't joint the game yet (and if they take any longer I'm gonna can the character), so it'll have no choice on this one :( ))

((For the record, the adults game wouldn't have progressed that much in game time. It may seem like ages for us, but for them it's like... a minute or 2?))

"The next spin already?" Phoenix asked, "well, I better join you then to decrease the odds of Miles getting spun again then." Phoenix smiled, motioning towards the table to everyone else, "We only need 1 person to confirm her dare. Ema can do that. The rest of us should go to the table." Turning to Zeth, Phoenix frowned, "That includes you, Gant."

"But... I thought..." Grumbling to himself, Zeth scooted across the hallway to the kitchen door when he thought no one was looking, doing a dive into the kitchen, rolling to his feet in a stealthy swoop. Taking a spot at the table beside Kristoph, Zeth glanced towards the hall, "Well, hopefully that talk of theirs doesn't take too long. I really want to find out her feelings for me soon."

Also joining the table, sitting beside Miles, Phoenix smiled. "So it's Kritoph's spin next, right?"

"A-ah, yes, I'll join too." Apollo said as he got up off the floor, feeling like an idiot for lying on it in the first place. His antennae drooped but he took a spot at the table, which was unfortunately next to Mr. Gavin. He was still a bit wary of him even if he was innocent.

"Yup... and frankly, I'm a little excited." Miles said, mouthing 'thank you." silently. He looked around, taking notice of all who were watching, "Well... i suppose you should begin.

((Miles had shown previous reluctance to take part in the game at all, so this is slightly odd. I'll post anyway, but I just thought i'd point that out first.))

Kristoph nodded to the others as they joined him before touhing the neck of the bottle with two fingers, applying only slight pressure to get it rolling at a leisurely pace. He steepled his fingers as he watched it spin. He didn't particularly mind who it landed on, though he certainly would like the chance to ask Phoenix about his feelings regarding Kristoph's case.

As the bottle ground to a halt, Kristoph peered over the top of his fingers, eyes twinkling with amusement upon seeing who it had landed on. "Ah, Miles. It looks like you're destined to play this game, however much you dislike it." He chuckled, lowering his arms to fold them across his chest. "Truth or dare?"

((Nadindi- Miles isn't being RPed by Nii anymore so if he wishes to play Miles as a happier character, he can. It's too difficult to step into someone else's mentality about a character- specially in the middle of an RP.))

Kristoph raised his eyebrows at Miles' dramatic point. "We're not in court, Edgeworth," he said good-naturedly, before settling back into his chair to think over the dare. Honestly, he hadn't expected Miles to choose a dare. It just seemed like he wasn't the socially adventurous type, from what he'd gathered in court. Nonetheless, Kristoph saw his window of opportunity.

Thinking back to Miles' truth earlier, a familiarly sinister grin crept onto the fallen attorney's face. "I dare you..." He let the silence drag on for dramatic effect. His gaze flickered to Phoenix before returning to the prosecutor. "I dare you to go out into view of the teenagers, and kiss Phoenix." Satisfied, he studied the two men for their reactions. Sure, it wasn't a spin the bottle kissing game, but nobody said anything about kiss dares not being allowed.

Miles reeled back..."You...will pay for this... Kristoph..."
He glanced at Phoenix...

He sat back down and fidgted...

Phoenix picked up his glass of 'grape juice' ((yes- GLASS. I'm sure he doesn't drink from the bottle in mixed company XD)), taking a quick swig of the juice as Kristoph announced the dare. Covering his mouth as he nearly spat out the drink in shock, it instead fizzed up his nose, making him feel like a dorky kid again playing a game like the teens in the next room. Wasn't he dared to do this once when he was a kid also? Maybe that's why Miles was originally reluctant to play the game.

Kissing Miles in front of the kids though? W...w.... waaaaht?! Swallowing his mouthfull of 'grapejuice' ((Clears throat- yes people, he's drinking wine. I refuse to believe that Phoenix drinks grapejuice cause it sounds like a huge PG cop-out to me XD Mentally change it to actual grapejuice if you want. I'm not playing a drunk Phoenix)), Phoenix's blue eyes widened in shock as he gave his nose a polite wipe with a nearby napkin. What the.... what do I do?

"Um," Phoenix started unsurely, "what are the 'conditions' of this kiss? Can it just be a peak on the cheek? Or do we actually need to touch lips?" Readjusting his robes self consciously, he wasn't really dressed for doing this kind of dare in front of the kids. Maybe he should get changed first into something with a shirt on.

((Just so people remember- Trucy and Phoenix are in bed wear. Trucy is wearing puffy shorts- like her panties? and a top. Phoenix is wearing cotton robes with boxers... um... what do Americans call them... the things that look like this? Um- just so you all know. This was since before STB part 3))

An unnerving silence passed between the two; Klavier, ever so patient, and Sean, ever so frustrated. She hasn't completely thought out how to go about all this yet. Should she go for the feminine approach? How does someone ask a celebrity genius prosecutor out, anyway?

"What's all this about, Sean?" Klavier finally asked.

Shiiit. She had to say something, quick. "I, uhh..." she began, displaying the highest level of eloquence her brain could muster within the past three seconds. "There was... something I've been meaning to tell you."

The rockstar scrutinized her as she brought a hand up to the back of her neck. She's done that for the, what, tenth time this past minute? "Well then, what is it?"

"I was just getting to that! Jesus..." Realizing that getting angry wasn't at all going to help win the man's favor, Sean took in a deep breath. Okay. She'd been in much deeper shit before. She can do this, no problem. "S-So, I was in the other room, right? And all the talk about... truth and stuff. It got me to thinking." Well, not really, but she had to say something.

Ah, so it did have something to do with truth or dare after all. He could barely resist the urge to laugh; the faces she was making... sehr komisch! He'd never seen Sean this flustered before! Klavier had a good idea where this was going, but he decided to play along. Crossing his arms, he masked on a perfectly passive expression. "And...?"

"And..." she echoed mindlessly. "Well, I just got to thinking about... you, actually." There. Now that she's got that out of the way, what next? Compliments? Compliments weren't really her thing, but if that's what it took to get this god damned dare over with then whatever. "You're a real... gem, you know? You've helped me get out of a real tight spot before. I... really appreciate that. And, uhh..." she glanced over to him momentarily--what was the best way to say this?--before averting her eyes again. "Look, all I'm saying is that you're... You're one fine piece of work. J-Just thought you should know. You know?"

Klavier was practically choking himself now trying to hold it in but otherwise maintained his composure, although he did manage a slight smirk. This was going to be fun. "Correct me if I'm wrong, Fräulein," he began, voice dipping into a deep sultry tone. "But that almost sounded like a confession."

Jaw visibly dropping, Sean stared back at him in shock. Had she really done it? She watched on as his lips stretched into a full-out grin. Well she'll be damned. For a second there she was worried that her ad-libbing would--

"I don't believe you."

"WHAT!?" she spat, cheeks sporting an obvious red, her face contorting into one of great displeasure as the purple-clad prosecutor lowered his head for a hearty chuckle. Growling through gritted teeth, she stared daggers and all sorts of sharp pointy objects into the bastard, waiting impatiently for him to collect himself before she spoke again. "You done yet, asshole?"

"Haha... I'm sorry, Sean. I couldn't help myself." lifting his head back up, Klavier regarded her with his usual smile. "So, who put you up with this? It wasn't Herr Forehead, was it?"

The once infuriated expression simmered down into an indifferent one; whether she had simply calmed down or had gone full circle, one would never know. "S'this how you treat chicks after they bare their hearts out to you? Or am I just that damn special?" There was an unexpected severity in her tone. Having been met with silence, Sean scoffed and turned heel, grumbling inwardly at her foiled attempt as she began to stalk away. She would have been fine with everything had he just not laughed her off. Okay, maybe not, but still.

After she had made quite some distance away, Klavier suddenly piped up with a question she had honestly not expected. Neither was it a welcomed one, as he would soon find out. "What about Zeth?" he inquired gravely. "Don't you have feelings for him? The two of you are quite close, from what I recall."

"That's none of your business, is it?"

He could practically see the foreboding aura emanating from the detective's form. Her response was almost immediate, sharp, and hostile; now this was more like the Sean he knew. Although she sounded a little angrier than usual, for some reason. Perhaps he had gone too far with his teasing? Or maybe... "Ja, ja. I get it." he answered, fingers running through his pale golden locks. Her efforts did deserve some sort of recognition. "As fond as I am of you, Fräulein, I can't accept your feelings. Try again after a certain Fräulein Detektiv turns me down, ja?" a playful smirk curled up his lips. "I might just reconsider."

"Hah! Don't bet on it."

Back still turned to hide a smile mirroring the same level of amusement as he, Sean lifted a hand up for a silent farewell, and left Klavier to mull over his own thoughts by the door. She went back the same way she came, of course, and who else to stand in wait at the far corner of the room but the good Detective herself? "He's aaall yours, Miss Skye." she whispered, equal parts reassuring and apathetic, as she swept past her en route to the living room.

Kristoph waved a hand casually as he answered Phoenix. "Oh, take the rules of the spin the bottle game in the next room. So it's a proper dare." He smirked. "I suggest you get it over with sooner, rather than later?"

As Sean swept past her with her offhand whisper, Ema furrowed her eyebrows in confusion, narrowing her eyes at Klavier. It certainly didn't look like he'd believed her, but there'd been one point when their gazes had flicked to her. Torn between returning to the kitchen and interrogating Klavier, she raised her head to look towards both destinations before folding her arms and making her way to the rockstar, her head turned to the side. "So...what was that about?"

Oblivious to the happenings in the corridor as Miles received his dare, Zeth sniffed a laugh at the two men's change in humour. Edgeworth was SO cocky about the dare till THAT moment, and Wright? He was tail between the legs. Both cut off at the knees. This would be worth the watch, and a worthy distraction.

"Rules of spin the bottle..."Phoenix murmured, remembering back to Darren's 'instructions', "So, it needs to be a proper kiss, and not a 'fly by', and needs to last a few seconds but no longer than 15 or we need to get a room..." Rubbing the back of his head, Phoenix tried to not picture Miles as he talked. It was SO hard to not horrify himself as he had to kiss his childhood best friend., "Well, atleast I don't have to take my robes off or anything," Phoenix said positively, turning to the door, "I'll go and get changed into something more suitable." Heading off towards the door, atleast he could change his clothing. Kissing Miles in his bed clothes was the LAST thing he wanted.

Miles slammed his fist into the ground. Why did it appear like everyone was picking on him beacuse of Wright? Sooner or later, he'd pay Kristoph back for this, he vowed.

He watched Phoenix leave to change, "At least he's being smart about this..." Miles said, putting on his Caravat. "Look as formal as possible..." He thought.

Miles grabbed a bucket of water, and started gulping a lot down... and awaited his doom...

He had hoped she would approach him after that stunt Sean pulled. She wouldn't have been able to hear their conversation, but if it was indeed a dare then Ema would have known all about it. Was she worried? Was she jealous? This had to be a good sign. Turning to face her, the rockstar placed both hands on his hips, leaning forward with an impish grin, his tone melodic. "I don't know, Fräulein. You tell me."

Ema turned her head to meet Klavier's amused gaze, rolling her eyes at his grin. "How should I know? ...She seemed pretty uncomfortable though. You done something to annoy Sean?" She'd decided to pretend that she didn't know about the dare mostly for Sean's sake - one of the conditions had been that he not cotton on to it being a dare, right? She folded her arms.

Kristoph pressed his fingers together again as Phoenix went off to change and Miles took out his frustration on the floor. "Now now, Edgeworth, keep your feelings inside, hmm? One of your best qualities as a prosecutor." Yes, if it wasn't already clear, he didn't care much for the man. He seemed too...uptight. Sure, Kristoph wasn't exactly a social butterfly either, but at least he made more of an effort to be pleasant and charming.

((Double post thar XD Man thoguh- surprised noone stopped Phoenix from getting changed XD Formal Miles kissing bed ready Phoenix... That sounds hilarious to me ^^ ))

Spotting Klavier and Ema chatting in the hall as he walked into into in bedroom almost directly opposite the kitchen / dinning room area, Phoenix raised a brow, wondering what those two were doing. Shrugging it off, part of him still felt a little bitter towards Klavier, and hoped Ema was mending a broken heart. That was unlikely to happen though.

When he got to his room, Phoenix looked around for something he could wear that wouldn't TOTALLY offend Miles. He, of course was wearing his tailored, 3 piece magenta suit... Phoenix didn't own anything fancy, but he spotted his blue business suit on the coat hanger, becoming him to brush the dust off it. Adopting a half smile as the memories of his attorney days flooded back to him. Those were the good days when he and Miles were close friends. Always looking out for one another. What had happened in those 7 years? Did him being a lawyer REALLY mean that much to Miles?

Slipping off the robes and chucking it onto his bed, Phoenix unslipped his blue dress pants off the coat hanger, and slipped into them. Lacing in a belt, he had lost a knotch since last wearing them, but that was expected. He had aged 7 years since then. Putting on a clean shirt, and flicking a tie around his neck and tying a Winsor on it, he was surprised that he was still reasonably good at tying a tie on despite not wearing one for so long. Phoenix slipped on his jacket and frowned. Not as much movement there as there use to be... Opting to leave the jacket off, Phoenix fixed his tie into place, and smirked to himself proudly. You can still look sharp, Wright. Just... you'll need a new suit if you even when back into law again. Law... Glancing aside, Phoenix frowned. Everyone told him that he should retake his ticket and get back into law now that he was aquited, but with Kristoph going into re-trail for his past cases again... What if his case was re-trialled cause of it? No time to think of that NOW of course.

Chucking on some black socks to keep his feet warm, Phoenix scooted back into the dining room area, and to wait for Miles to be ready. HE was as ready as he was ever gonna be...

Noticing Rowan's look soften as he returned gaze with her, Aphra felt her heart skip a beat for a moment. Looks like he took all of what happened as part of the game, or is ignoring it for now. Relaxing her smile, she let out a tense breath to ready herself for the kiss. He really is a sweet guy. IT's so rare to find a guy that is genuine nowdays... Noticing him lean forward for the kiss, Aphra needed no written invitation. Scooting over to him, Aphra knelt down in front of him, leaning closer. Hovering just higher than his head high so he'd have to put up a small fight to kiss her properly, he wondered if he'd be proactive enough to take some control of the kiss. Moving to kiss Rowan, her lips touched his alot sooner than she expected as he also leaned into the kiss. Lacing her fingers into his hair as she kissed him, Aphra relaxed into the kiss. No pressure. No expectations. It was a nice change...

"The good things?" Alex smirked, "Like cat fights? Having to kiss your best friend? Watching an ex make out with another man? I'm still looking for the good things here." Scratching his head, Alex glanced said nervously, "It's not as if I'm good at this whole kissing thing anyways. All that knocking heads, and awkward poses and stuff. Aphra showed me a bit on how to kiss but..." Screwing his nose up in disgust, Alex crossed his arms, "Her kisses were like watching a porn movie. It was so uncomfortable. Although..." Pointing at Aphra kissing, Alex looked confused, "That doesn't look so bad. She never kissed me like that..."

"...grr..." Miles said, "I might as well get it over with..." He said, walking over to Phoenix, "The rules says a few seconds... I think I'd count three as a few." Miles said.

Miles felt the stare of everybody, "...Well." He ran over and preformed the kiss, as tight lipped as he possibly could."
*The agony.* Miles said, "One...two...three,,,"

Miles disengaged, and blushed a litle, "Well, if you excuse me... I'm going to find some mouthwash..."

Five minutes later, Miles emerged from the bathroom, "You might want to buy some more mouthwash." He advised.
Miles walked over to the bottle and picked it up, "My turn." Miles said, praying the fates would allow Kristoph to be selected...

Leaning away from Tascha slightly, Alex didn't have a clue why she just did that. "W... What was that all about? You weren't meant to kiss me! We haven't spun eachother!"

Phoenix widened his eyes as Miles suddenly let out a growl of "I might as well get it over with..." before slamming a pair of concrete lips on his face for exactly 3 seconds. In front of the adults. Then he stormed off to the bathroom and washed his mouth out. Still wide eyed in shock when Miles returned tellign him that he had run out of mouth wash, Phoenix gave him a weird look, pointing to the door to the lounge.

"Miles, the kids are out there. You have to kiss me in line of sight to the kids. not to these guys." Scratching the back of his head shyly, Phoenix didn't know what to make of the outburst, "I'm not sure what that was about, but just calm down for a second, ok Miles? It's just a kiss. Noone is going to think you're gay if you don't make a big deal out of it. We all know that you were just dared to do it." Giving Miles an uneasy look, he grabbed his hand, "Come on, let try that again, K? Except this time, we're going to do this correctly so that we don't have to do it again." Stopping for a moment to check his breath, Phoenix gave a weird look, "Does my breath really smell that bad? Hrmm..."

Kristoph stifled a laugh against his scarred hand at Miles' hasty, though incorrect, kiss. As Phoenix grabbed Miles' hand, Kristoph rose out of his seat to stand against the doorframe of the kitchen, hands in his blue jacket pockets. "I suggest you just go out there and get it over with, Edgeworth." A hint of laughter was still audible in his voice. "Wouldn't that be...easiest?"

Nadine's hand flew to her mouth in surprise. After watching Aphra and Rowan dive into a heated kiss, she had been watching Tascha and Alex's steadily building relationship. She'd instantly seen that the spontaneous kiss was NOT something Alex would appreciate, her suspicions being confirmed as he freaked out. She nudged Darren with her elbow, turning around. "Um...Lex is freaking out." Normally she would have found it amusing, but she did really want Alex to have someone. Nadine caught a hint of blue out of the corner of her eye and turned, seeing a feminine man with long hair standing in the kitchen entrance. What's going on?

"Oh man," Phoenix breathed as he dragged Miles out into the lounge area and looked around, "I forgot how small this room got when it got filled with people." Spotting Nadine looking in their direction, he froze on the spot like a cartoon criminal escaping from a jewellery store with a bag full of jewels. Glancing to Miles with a slightly flushed look, Phoenix looked a little lost for words, "Um, I'd suggest we do this behind a curtain, but I think it'd look MUCH worse than in the open. Um..." Glancing around for something to crawl behind, there wasn't anything. All the chairs were pushed to the wall to give Trucy's party some room. Turning limp faced, he hadn't felt this frustrated since his early days in court. "Alright. Assessment done. I somehow managed to make this room cheat proof."

Giving a slight 'yip' noise as Nadine poked him, Darren followed her attention to Alex playing girl cooties with that girl had had been with for some time this afternoon. Things had looked like they had gone SO well too.

"Um...Lex is freaking out." Nadine told him with concern. Darren nodded firmly,

"I can't do much about that. Dude has gotta figure some chicks out on his own, dig?" Grinning, Darren leaned back and watched him bicker with his red face, "Nar, he'll be fine. Lex is just embarrassed. He's not angry. In FACT..." Pointing to his own chin, making a slightly sulky face, Darren held the expression for a moment before grinning, "That face was a body says yes but brain says no face, if I'm not mistaken. She needs to be more careful than him though. Right now, she needs to make sure that the brain doesn't shout any louder or Alex will likely bolt."

Nadine nodded at Darren’s wise words. She had to trust him on this matter – however close her and Alex were, it was ultimately his best friend who knew him best. “Yeah…I think he needs to sort this out on his own. If he ever recovers from that kiss,” she added, noting that Alex’s face was still one of shock. She turned back to look at the man by the door, noting that Phoenix had just dragged Miles into the lounge. Curious, she nudged Darren again, gesturing towards the two. “Hey. What’s going on there?” The blonde man by the door was still there, and he had an amused smile on his face.

"Sean? Annoyed? She seems like her normal self to me." he answered, the tuneful tone in his voice still quite apparent. It was an attempt at coyness on his part, to mirror hers, but what he said was true in a sense; when had Sean not been annoyed? Klavier straightened his stance and held the buckle of his belt loosely, assuming a more casual stance. Although his intentions were far from casual. "So, what brings you back to this dark nostalgic corridor?" he cooed, positively smirking. "I don't suppose you want to pick up where we last left off? I can arrange for that."

Sean rose her chin up in a sort of triumph as she sensed a shuffle of movement from behind her, bound for Klavier's direction. Well, that was one good deed done. All that was left now was for him to, you know, not screw things up like he's done before. Detective Skye was a tough nut to crack, from the looks of it; she'd turned him down just about as many times as she lashed her pistols out on a good day. And that was a lot. Not that she had any complaints, though. Who needed reality TV when you had those two to watch back at headquarters?

Her thoughts, and her steps, came to a halt as a certain ex-attorney in periwinkle came into view. Hands securely stowed into her pockets, Sean stared Kristoph down from across the living room. What was that bastard up to? He better had not been trying anything funny.

Charisa looked at Aphra.
Charisa didn't know who was worse, Nadine or Aphra.
She hoped Aphra would kiss that boy the whole evening and never stop so she won't annoy anyone else.
Especially not herself.
Charisa turned away and noticed Phoenix and some other man standing there.
Why are they here? Isn't the adults game in the kitchen?

Roy looked at Aphra's kiss. She sure knows how to kiss. He tought.
Roy glanced at Charisa. But if she makes her angry..
He didn't know why Charisa was acting so weird. She looked so different.
But he was sure she was still the same girl as ever.
Or at least, that's what her dairy said two weeks ago.
When we're home, I'll give her some chocolate. She always loves chocolate.

Ema suddenly felt an uncontrollable urge to laugh. Not at Klavier's slight joke about Sean, or at his normal flirtatious behaviour, but just at his almost teenage girl like mood swings tonight. First he's normal, flirty rock star. Then he's serious, personal space invading Klavier. And now...back to the flirting. Even despite a fellow detective confessing her love to him. A small laugh escaped her, and she placed her hands in her pockets, a smile on her face. As always, she decided to ignore his flirting, however...affecting it may be. Which it certainly was not. "Nah, Sean seemed...agitated, maybe? Worried?" Ema knew she was on thin ice here - Klavier's prosecutor brain could pick up on her knowledge of the dare if she was too pushy.

Feeling daggers being glared into the side of his face, Kristoph turned slightly. Ah, it was the violent detective. The one his brother wasn't interested in. He raised a hand in greeting, lips curling into a small smile. "Miss Sean," he called, beckoning a finger. She should probably be told about the dare before seeing it done, or she might overreact, as she did often.

"W... What was that all about? You weren't meant to kiss me! We haven't spun each other!"

Tascha took a deep breath. "Hey, don't worry. I didn't mean to freak you out or anything. It's just you seemed kind of sad when you were talking about Aphra-I wanted to show you having someone kiss you doesn't always have to be like it was with her."

She paused for a moment and smiled. "Although it doesn't look like I managed to do that after all...."

Wow. This is....kind of amazing. Rowan thought as Aphra's lips met his and she returned the kiss with something that he could only really describe as tenderness. He'd never really experienced anything like this before- he'd been too deterred by the swarms of girls who didn't seem to care that he was, in fact, a person, not just a face on an ad campaign.

Not wanting to break it off, but knowing that they wouldn't be allowed more than 15 seconds, Rowan pulled away gently and smiled at Aphra. Glancing at the scowling girl in the purple dress, at least he knew she would gladly have skipped the next kiss if she could have.

Meh. Enough outside moping, I'm heading back in. Theresa thought, wondering how it was possible for her to sound this grumpy inside her own head. Stepping back in through the broken door, she was just on her way to the kitchen when a flash of a familiar colour caught her eye, a colour Theresa hadn't seen for nearly eight years now.

He's wearing his lawyer's suit?

Leaning against the doorframe to the lounge, she wondered why both he and Mr. Edgeworth looked so remarkably like kids who'd just been caught robbing the cookie jar. Theresa frowned a little. She'd stick around to see what was going on...

A laugh? That certainly wasn't what he expected, but it was a welcomed gesture. It was a nice change from the usual snackooing he'd been subjected to. What's more of a surprise, however, was how she still insisted on pressing him regarding Sean after he had blatantly derailed the conversation. "Oh? You don't say." he remarked, exaggeratedly so. The grin on his face could only grow wider. "Why do you want to know?"

Her brow quirked up to an impressive height as Kristoph called her over. She would have preferred to steer clear of him as much as possible--god, did that man bring her piss to a boil--but general curiosity got the best of her. Besides, it would mean a lot less trouble for her if she had an idea of what the bastard was up to. This was a good time as any to find out.

Slowly, cautiously, Sean strolled past the osculating teenagers and over to him. "What do you want." she snarled, face inevitably contorting into one of displeasure.

"I just..." Ema was finding it increasingly difficult to maintain her 'ignorance' as she tried to find out how he'd reacted. Why she cared so much, she wasn't quite sure. Her smile faded. "Well, I want to know why she was upset. She's a fellow detective, right? So we look out for each other, and stuff..." She averted her eyes. Jeez, she almost sounded like Justice in that half-hearted explanation attempt. Not a good trait, that's for sure.

Kristoph chuckled at Sean's continued aggresiveness, realising only after that the laugh would probably only aggravate her more. "Honestly, I mean you no harm." He folded his arms and nodded his head towards the two men standing awkwardly in the lounge. "I've just given dear Edgeworth a dare."

"I suppose..." Klavier muttered, adopting a more passive expression. It was... interesting, the way she reacted. Perhaps now would be a good time to go over the facts:

He was almost certain that Sean was dared to do something; whether that confession was it or not, he wasn't entirely sure. But if that was the case then Ema would most definitely know of it. That would explain why she was conveniently watching by the far end of the room as well. If not, then perhaps it was just as she said--her being genuinely concerned about her fellow detective--but then again something didn't seem quite right. He didn't get the impression that Ema and Sean were particularly close with each other, so why would she bother asking about her? Could it have simply been curiosity at work here? Or could it be that...

Smile returning, he placed a hand upon the detective's head for a light rustle. "It's nothing you should be concerned about, ja?" he reassured. "And you didn't answered my question." The rockstar retracted his hand and went on to lean himself against the wall. "Shouldn't you be playing truth or dare with the others? Or are you as bored as I am?"

Oh, she was confident he wouldn't cross her, but what about the others? There was no way she was letting her guard down with this bastard. Giving Kristoph one last threatening glare, she turned her gaze away and towards the prickly prosecutor with... some other dude. Strange; she couldn't recall anyone like that coming in. He did look oddly familiar, though...

"Who's he?" she finally asked after much hesitation, eyes still trained on the man with the blue slacks.
