Ramirez had finally regained his composure. He had to admit, watching the little guy flipped the badge from the big guy's pocket and striking poses the whole time had looked quite funny, and he had not been ready for it. Suddenly Ramirez noticed it had become uncharacteristically quiet in the restaurant again.

"(Hmm... if this was like one of my books, then this'd be the part when something goes wrong...)" Ramirez thought to himself.
