His attention then focused a bit more on the pixie held by the angel. Out of nowhere, the idea of introducing himself to the pixie crazily crossed his mind, but he kept his mouth shut, both because he was concerned with what the gentlemen near them would think, and because he was now busy admiring the pair of lovely winged creatures. It's actually not that hard thinking of this pixie as something more than just pixels... differently from minutes before.

Zoey felt an instant distaste for Elaina. She was one of those vampires that thought they were the best just because they chose to be one in the beginning. Zoey regretted her decision most of the time, though would never change it. Elaina seemed to enjoy taking blood off people.

"It's a pleasure, Nina," the brothers both said simultaneously, casting a quick glance at one-another afterward. ((This is one reason people would think Jay and Jeremy were twins.))
"And about the glowing pixie, we would never wish to trap it--Him? Her?--in a constricting container," Jeremy explained, examining the pixie once more, "but seeing how it seems to be such a rare species, we should attempt to gain its trust and find some way to keep it with us. You never know, the pixie could help our party in some way... I think. In any case, it'd be a good companion... if it understood English."
"That's true. Even if this is a fictional world, it's always nice to have friends, semi-real or really real. Being alone isn't something I'd like to... be," Jay agreed. Thinking back to the lulling music Nina had played to calm the pixie, he continued, "By the way, that song you were singing was most beautiful. I don't know if we'll ever be able to show off our own musical abilities. I do wish we could, though... and maybe we will after a while, I can't be certain..." Jay commented, trailing off that last sentence.
"Musical... ability?" Jeremy wondered softly and a bit distantly, "Hm... Let's see." Slowly and carefully, he formed his hands around an imaginary guitar and plucked a few notes. He heard them in his head, but wasn't sure if the sound he was hearing was being outwardly produced. Jay looked at his brother and smiled. He noticed the music, but wasn't sure if it was because of the mental link possessed by the two, or because the brothers really could still produce music that way...
Jeremy looked up after hearing the other vampire speak for a bit, picking on Cody, and dropped his hands back to his side. 'I like how she thinks she's so high and mighty. Real amusing quality, yes,' Jeremy thought sarcastically.
'I know! "Master of lightning"? More like master of... dammit all, I can't think of anything good. People like that DO put me off, though,' Jay replied. He looked over at the other vampire (Zoey) and noticed a sort of look in her eye. 'It's not just us; others seem to be a bit suspicious of Elaina,' Jay added, noting a responsive look in Austin's eye. 'That's interesting, those two seem to know what the other is thinking... kinda like us!' Jay noted.
'That's a bit common. If one is expressive enough, he or she can hint at what they are thinking to someone nearby,' Jeremy explained in his head. 'Anyway, there's still something about Elaina that makes me feel uneasy. I dunno whether to think she's slightly evil or just a bit chaotic,' Jeremy continued. The brothers knew there were people like that in the real world, but they never attempted to associate with them because of their smug attitudes. Some told the truth; they could actually kill you in a fight, but most were just blowing their own trumpet. If things got hairy, the brothers would jump in and help, though. For now, they stayed back and continued to let their eyes wander around the scene with a "what now?" feeling.

She may cast lightning...but she can't make people feel a deep, shattering remorse for what they're doing. I don't even need anyone to have an affinity for Spirit to make me feel that, she thought to herself wryly.

It would be less... painful... if you also took the time to make your character have some sort of back story. I mean, the worst possible thing for an RP'er to have is a character that is two-dimensional. You have to give them life and let them act out as a person all their own, separate from you as much as possible.
Also, you can't make somebody else's Character do something. (The forcing of Zoey to walk up to your character, for instance.) Be sure to read the rules for the RP section...))

Remorse...That's something we all feel at some point in our lives, Austin thought. With my howling, I can force creatures to feel whatever I want them to, but it also displays how I feel. When you attacked Suzuna, I made you regret what you were doing. Did you already feel that way before I even howled?

))...What's up with all this eye-contact talking? Are they going to let me out of anything they decide? Ronan thought, not just because Jay and Jeremy seemed to be talking without words somehow, knowing what each other thought, but Austin and Zoey also acted the same way. He felt like a sweatdrop formed on the side of his head and dropped before dissapearing: yeah, he felt like using that emoticon right then.
He coughed (not necessary in the game, but just an act to call the attention from the nearby fellows) before talking. "Anyway, pixies are pretty timid creatures and wouldn't follow humans or demons willingly. Angels, though..." He turned his head to Nina. "I guess you have more affinity with it than any of us. If there is any way to get her to accompany us, it rests in you." Then he wondered why he'd even said 'us' on that sentence. It was not like he was part of the group. But the angel, both magicians in front of him, some of the others seemed to be very cordial and confortable to stay with. Maybe that was just one of the angel's powers, or was that a nice group? "A-Anyway...you two, gentlemen...you play instruments? That is quite intriguing. I never got around to learn any. I admire music greatly." He flashed them a timid smile. While he talked, he would decide what to do, finally... and after the others settled...

"We all have our burdens to bear." Once in my wolf form, I used to attack vampires just because of my instinct as a wolf, them being my natural enemies and all. I know how hard it is to go against instincts as well. But it can be done.

Jeremy gasped and then replied in a whisper, "You're right, but it seems that some barriers can be shattered. Take Zoey and Austin over there." 'Wait a minute... Could that be what their look-speaking was about? ...Maybe, but it'd only be a guess,' Jeremy thought afterward.
'"We all have our burdens to bear," haha, ain't THAT the truth,' Jay replied. "'Nothing ventured, nothing gained,' as they say," Jay said a bit more loudly, but still slightly quieter than normal. "But sometimes it's hard to just know what you're fighting for, or even what is to be gained from fighting for it."
"Yeah, but the least we can learn is something about ourself," Jeremy replied. "...Our true self, hopefully," he added.
"Man, you're right when you say it's taxing to think about all this, but I wouldn't have it any other way... because as far as I know, I can't. (speaking of true selves, hm)" Jay commented.
"Yeah, once a thinkin' man, always a thinkin' man." Jeremy added with a half laugh, half sigh.
"Uh-huh. Speaking of thinking, don't you think it's weird how only a few of us are actually doing anything (well actually, doing nothing at this point)?"
"Eh? Oh yeah!" Jeremy said with realization. "There's so much philosophizing going on and prophetic words being thrown around that the game seems to have stopped itself in its tracks for it." He looked around, noticing that the usually-active monsters were nowhere in sight. "Where are the usual challenges...?"
"Haha, challenges. It's all so damn easy... Isn't that why we're all playing a video game right now?" Jay asked both sarcastically and rhetorically, in a quieter tone. "We take a break from the things that challenge us, only to do something that's designed to challenge us! (...but it's not right now, heh.)"
"Of course, that's not the only point of this 'world', but I know what you mean... Let's just hope that everyone else does too and isn't drawn away by our ramblings..." Jeremy retorted, barely whispering that last part.
"Haha, yeah. This conversation's getting so long. We should stop now..." Jay agreed.
"Yes, there's already enough to rea--listen to and comment on as it is," Jeremy added. ((Uh-oh, Freud, we have a slip. xD)) The brothers finished their notes and slid them back into their cases.
((What's going on? How did this giant wall of text appear in front of me? Haha, I really should condense what I wanna say. It'd be so much easier with one character... but I like two, and I don't know why... talkin' to myself...))
