"Stop that repairman!" Trucy yelled. "We haven't paid him yet!"
Klavier tucked the handcuffs back into his coat and smiled. He found Trucy's naivety to be quite endearing. "I don't think that boy was a--" The sound of his cellphone ringing cut him short. With a swift motion he took his cellphone out of his pocket and looked at the caller. His brows furrowed. "I'm sorry fraulein, I have to take this call." He took a few steps further into the kitchen, his back turned, and answered. "Updates on the bullet?"
"You were right to have it checked again, boss. Something real interesting came up. You'll have to come down an' see for yourself."
"I... can't do that."
"Huh? Why not?"
This case was important but he couldn't bring himself to leave on such short notice. It just wasn't his style. "I seem to be... held up... at the moment." Klavier ran his fingers coarsely through his scalp. Work was his top priority; he needed to take a look at this new information. That one piece of evidence held the potential to make or break his case. He had to leave right away. Lowering his head in defeat, he sighed. "Ja, I understand. I'll--"
"10-20."
"...Pardon?"
"What's your 10-20, boss!?"
Klavier wasn't sure what it was all about, but he answered anyway. "Uhh... Wright's residence. The ex-defense attorney's house." He was starting to get worried. "Detective, what's going o--"
"I know where that is," the voice cut off. "Don't sweat it, boss, we're on our way!"
BEEP.
...
A very confused rockstar stood there, phone still pressed upon his ear. Was the detective going to bring the evidence to him? As convenient as that was the call didn't end on a clear note, and he knew that particular detective to be quite impulsive. He had a bad feeling about all this. Deciding that sticking around for now would be the wisest move, he shoved his phone back into his pocket and strolled into the sitting room. He wanted to know what had become of that Hawkins kid.

"Yes, you fool. It remained closed for FIVE WHOLE SECONDS! Disgrace! What kind of host are you? And yes, they're for Trucy and her friends."
Franziska, as pleasant as always. Why was she here? Was she worried about their daughter as well? He smirked, watching her walk into the house. Franziska was a caring person, she truly was; she just had a more unique means of showing it. It was then that a boy came running out the door.
"See ya later, Pretty Boy!" The boy taunted. He appeared to be calling out to someone from inside what with him bumping straight into Phoenix. Who wouldn't notice a towering figure of unsophistication? Nevertheless, the boy's actions were impermissible. Miles took a few steps towards the boy and narrowed his eyes. He looked... familiar.
Miles could hear someone chuckle lightly. He turned his head; it was Wright. "Cody Hackins," Phoenix stated firmly, "Gosh, everyone is coming out of the woodwork for this party!"
Cody Hackins... He was getting something. Squinting at the boy, he repeated the name in his head over and over again whilst sifting through his thoughts, hoping that it would help him remember. Cody Hackins... Cody Hackins... Cody... Hackins...
"Hmm, I see," Miles said. He'd finally remembered, the decisive witness in the Jack Hammer case several years past. "It's been a long time. You've certainly grown."
He could see Phoenix pass on some of the groceries over to Maya. "Cody Hackins..." she echoed. Yes, she was working as Wright's assistant back then. She must have remembered as well. Miles watched as her expression changed considerably. "Cody Hackins, the kid who likes the Steel Samurai!"
"Did you hear about Trucy's spin the bottle party, and wanted to join in?" Phoenix asked, body bent towards the boy.
Wait. Something didn't make sense. "Hold it right there, Wright," Miles interjected. "This boy apparently came from inside. I would assume that you had already met with him much earlier on." He crossed his arms and raised his head, occasionally tapping his index finger. "Explain yourself."

"Looks like that's how he got in. You know Cody- He'll..." No... Miles doesn't want to remember what lengths Cody will go to, to get what he wants.... Pausing for a moment, Phoenix reconsidered his plan of attack. "OK, so Cody doesn't seem to have been invited. I'll ask the girls if it's ok if he stays. If they are ok with him joining, then I'll be more than happy with him staying at the party on one condition. Klavier, or another adult is present in the room at all time." Glancing down to Cody, Phoenix gave him a kind shrug, "I'm sorry, Cody. I feel the same as Miles does about this. They don't know you very well, and I know I'd feel alot better if it was this way. Klavier already seems pretty attached to the group."
Turning back to Miles, Phoenix nodded, "How does that sound? He can stay if the girls agree an there's an adult around?"
((I hope you weren't planning on shipping him to the adults side... I like him with the kids for the fandom :) And um... I'm not sure how Cody was going to get away with crashing the party in front of Phoenix, Miles, and maybe Fran and NOT hold consequences XD ))

"Looks like you're in my care, Herr Hawkins." Klavier mused, leaning against the doorway. "Also, I seem to have accidentally... invited... a few friends. I hope you don't mind." He was worried about how he was going to handle the detective later on but did his best not to show it.
"Ah, Prosecutor Gavin. I wasn't aware you were present." Miles sighed. "Yes, I suppose that's reasonable enough..." He wasn't sure that a rockstar would be qualified to chaperon what with such a liberal lifestyle, but given the choices Klavier seemed to be the best option. He stared Cody down and narrowed his eyes. "You best behave yourself, boy." His memory was hazy, but Miles could remember him being quite the trouble-maker in the past.

Out of the frying pan and into the fire....
Cody had always thought that was an idiotic turn of phrase. Once you get to the frying pan, it's over anyway. But now he understood.
Instead of being tailed by that Pretty Boy cop, he was now trapped between them and the two men he feared most. The red-suited man who coerced him into testifying about the Steel Samurai, and the spiky-haired lawyer that drove him to tears. In front of everyone. Cody had never before and never since had been so humiliated. What were they doing here?
Is this some sort of nightmare? Cody thought to himself, suddenly feeling faint. He fell back but caught himself before he fell over.
"Cody Hackins." Spike Hair chuckled. He remembers my name? "Well, isn't everyone coming out of the woodwork at this party?"
"It's been a long time. You've certainly grown." said Red Suit.
Another (older) girl in a bathrobe chimed in. "Cody Hackins, the kid that liked the Steel Samurai?"
Have they been stalking me this whole time? Just because of my testimony?
Spike Hair's voice got lower. "Did you hear about Trucy's party, and want to join in?"
Cody couldn't believe it. Is he gonna let me stay?
But Red Suit butted in. "Now, hold it, Wright! This boy came from inside the house, and you're telling me you never saw him?" He looked angry. "Explain yourself!"
Trucy ran in, huffing and puffing. "He jumped out of the vent. In the kitchen."
Spike ha--Wright looked at Red Suit and shrugged. "Well, looks like that's how he got in. You know Cody, he-ll.......Well, it seems he wasn't invited. I'll ask the girls if they mind if he stays. If they're fine with it, then it's OK with me. Klavier will be here to watch them."
Klavier? Klavier Gavin? Isn't that the rock star guy who--Oh, man..... Cody got that sinking feeling again.
Wright looked down at him and said, "I'm sorry, Cody. But I feel the same way Miles does about this. They don't know you very well, and Klavier's already pretty attached to the group. I think we'll both feel better with an adult present."
Wright got up and turned to.....Miles. They began talking, but Cody wasn't listening. He were too many thoughts running through his mind.
I might get to stay? That would be great! All the girls like me, so it's not like they'll turn me away. The only problem is Klavier. Will he try to arrest me again?
Klavier walked in and leaned against the door frame. "Looks like you're in my care now, Air Hawkins."
Air Hawkins? What is he talking about? Does he think I play basketball? I guess I did jump pretty high....
Cody chuckled to himself. Then he noticed Miles staring daggers at him, Cody meekly returned his gaze.
"You had best behave yourself, boy."
Cody gulped.
((And I wasn't expecting it to get so complicated when I first planned Cody's entrance. I thought maybe an awkward discovery, a stern word from Phoenix and then we'd be on our way. Things just didn't work like that. XD))

I've only just realized after reading it again that it sounded like a thread to Cody LOL. But that was meant for Phoenix. A few "friends" of his are on their way, and he just wanted the man of the house to know in advance.
And lastly... dice roll for the main round. Again if you want to change the way your dice rolls turn out then say so and I will roll again. But I have to say, some of them turned out pretty funny. x'DD))

"I don't mind," Julia smiled, "As long as he's ok with the possibility that he might be kissing a boy!" Bursting into giggles at how Cody would react to kissing Klavier or Darren, she reckoned that Cody would make an interesting scene.
Darren however, crossed his arms and looked at Cody analytically, "Hey, he's that little scamp in the photography group that stalks my cheerleaders," (He means the school cheerleader group, and they're not his- he likes to think they are XD ) "I don't know what I think about him kissing my little sister." Shooting Cody a sideways glance, Darren's expression dared him to try his tolerance level, "You better hope you don't spin my sister, dude."
((Awe man... Is Julia capable to spinning anything but females ^^; All her kisses are going to women :( Then again- I think it's hilarious that Klavier got Darren again. I wonder if those two will act up with it a little for the lols? See if they can gross Cody out XD ))

Cody was ecstatic. The girls were actually gonna let him play! Trucy and Bathrobe Girl hadn't answered yet, but Bookworm and Other-Cute-Girl-That-Doesn't-Have-An-Obvious-Nickname said he could stay. And even Eva Edgeworth said it was alright! This could be fun!
Then he remembered what Bookworm had said: "As as he's OK with maybe kissing a boy!"
He wasn't really OK with kissing a boy, but with these girls, it was a small price to pay. He never got action like this anywhere else.
"What? You think I can't handle kissing a boy?" Cody said, his mischievous smirk that he had perfected for years spreading across his face. "I can kiss anyone!"
He grinned at Darren. "As long as you can handle it...."
Cody backed up against the wall and crossed his arms. Now I just have to wait for the other two to vote me in.... Cody thought, smugly.
((He doesn't realize that Klavier is playing. He thinks he's just spectating.))

Gumshoe was proud of himself. He was both surprised and relieved that he had remained hidden for so long. He didn't like the looks of that face Mr. Edgeworth was giving that boy.

Klavier turned towards the group of girls and smiled. "No need to fret, frauleins," he began. Placing his hands on his waist he leaned forward slightly, flashing his million-dollar smile. "I swear on my honor as a prosecutor-- no, as a man-- that I will protect you," he cooed, topping it all off with a wink. He thought that the gesture would help ease their worries.
"Kyaaaa~" Trucy squealed, wrapping her arms firmly around the rockstar's waist. "As long as you're around, anything's fine with me! You think so too, right Cherry? Riiight?"
((Lemon said he was going to be away for a couple of days so I wrote the Trucy part in to get things moving. And LOL Ark. x'DD Maybe it's a sign. >8D But I can aim for a roll with a male in it for Julia, if you want.
Also, reminder, it's Darren's turn to spin the bottle when the warm-up round resumes. And the ones who just came in (Amy, Cherry, Cody) can't join in the warm-up round; you'll have to wait for the main round. Unless you guys would want to change that as well?))

Giving Cody a raised brow as he looked straight at him when he mentioned about the guys handling it, he wondered if Cody realized that Klavier was part of the game too. Or maybe Cody didn't mind kissing Klavier, but did mind kissing him- who knew?
"Well, I believe it was my turn to spin the bottle," Darren piped up cheerfully, picking up the grape juice bottle, and strolling up to Maya casually, "Would you care to take a seat while you await your kiss?" Motioning to the spin the bottle circle area, Darren gave her a grin, "Fate smiles upon us today."

"Ah," Maya muttered. She placed her hands on her cheeks, unsure of what to say. She knew full well it was a spin the bottle party, and she commended the boy's boldness, but wasn't he a little too young for her? And besides... "That is, you see... I..." She turned to Phoenix with a distressed look on her face. She had made that face so many times before that she'd be surprised if Phoenix hadn't caught on. Help me, Nick...!
It seemed like the majority of the girls had voted for Cody to join in. He still wasn't too keen on the idea of a rockstar watching over a group of teenagers, but what could he do? With a sigh Miles invited himself into the house and took a good look around. Not much had changed since his last visit, simple decor and whatnot. Just then he saw an odd-looking figure from his peripheral. Odd-looking, but familiar. Too familiar. Miles approached said figure and loomed over it, his expression far from pleasant. "Good day, MR. GUMSHOE..."

Ignoring Miles wandering off to question Gumshoe as he spotted Darren making the moves on Maya, warning bells went off in his head, as he unconsciously scooted over to Maya.
"Darren, isn't it?" Phoenix smiled, slipping his arm around Maya, and pulling her a little closer for good measure, "You will have to excuse Maya. She was already prebooked for joining me in the kitchen over a hot cup of tea." Watching Darren's face drop slightly, Phoenix patted his shoulders a few times, "I wouldn't worry though. I'm sure your next spin will be memorable.
"Bu...but..." Darren stuttered to Phoenix's back, as he lead Maya towards the kitchen. Catching up to the two, Darren tried one last plee as he grabbed Maya's shoulder, "Perhaps you'd like me to take you out for dinner sometime soon?"
"I don't think you could afford her...acquired tastes," Phoenix replied, as he turned to Darren coolly, giving him the 'back off' glare. Backing off slightly, a pout appeared on Darren's face then.
"Awe- why are the good ones all taken?" Darren grumbled, spotting the protective stance Phoenix gave off. Seems Maya was already taken. Glancing back to the group, Darren pouted. Well, that sucks. Who's left that I'm eager to kiss now?

Letting out a huge huff, Darren plonked himself back on the floor. Darn it... All the girls left are atleast two years younger than me... this sucks. Glancing at Klavier with a slight pout, Darren remembered back to the kiss. I haven't kissed any of the girls yet, but if they're better then him, then maybe it'll be worth it.... Shrugging, Darren threw the bottle in the air, catching it cooly with the other. "OK, fine then. Lets continue on this game, shall we?" Darren grinned, slamming the bottle into the middle of the circle (I'll assume everyone has taken a position). Flicking the bottle around spiritedly, Darren crossed his fingers and toes that the bottle would sky rocket off, and through the door to point to Maya. Like he'd be THAT lucky...
Watching the bottle bump to a stop, Darren's face turned into a grimace as it stopped on Andrew. Glancing at Andrew then to the bottle again, Darren tapped his chin thoughtfully. "No, that's not right. Lady Luck is on my side today, right? It should've landed on a girl, not a guy."
"Don't be picky, Darren!" Julia giggled, giving Darren a poke, "You said same sex spins are allowed. Pucker up big boy!" Turning red as Julia formed her arms into 'chicken wings', and started taunting her brother with chicken sounds, Darren watched her for a second as he recovered from the initial shock.
OK- get over it Darren. Maybe quiet boy is secretly a stallion in disguise like Klavier. Maybe it wont be so bad? Getting up off the floor and walking over to Andrew, Darren knelt down beside him and tilted his chin up like Klavier had done to him. Giving him a slightly less calm look than Klavier had given him, Darren gulped audibly.
"Dude, if you've got any skills with kissing girls, now is a great time to use them, cause this'll be REALLY awkward if you go grandpa lipped on me. You've kissed a girl before, right?"

"Don't be such a jerk, Darren!" Julia snapped suddenly, reaching over and giving Darren's face a slap. Yelping as his sister left a bright red hand mark on his left cheek, Darren cradled his injury tenderly, "He was embarrassed- couldn't you tell?"
"Embarrassed?" Darren laughed sarcastically, removing his hand from his cheek, "So embarrassed that he had to attack me like that? No..." Scuttling over to where Julia sat, Darren planted himself beside her, "I'm not letting you kiss that guy. Not if that's how he treats his receivers. If either of you get each other for your roll, then I'm intervening."
((Sorry Chase, but it didn't sound like it was a good kiss at all. If he had waited, I was going to get Darren to give him some pointers... Too late for that now I guess >.> ))

Andrew blushed, covered his face and groaned. "I'm sorry!" he tried to explain. "I j-just wanted to get it over with! I mean, come on! Give me a break! It's not like you wanted some kind of slow makeout session!"
The douchebag inside of Andrew wanted to say, "Well, maybe you did!" but Darren was a lot bigger than he was and he was scared.
"L-Look, I'm sorry! Really! I just... God!" he grunted in frustration. He turned to Klavier, feeling exasperated. "Ju- Jeez... Why am I even here?" He muttered.

Stop taking it so damn serious and chill out!” Horrified that his first two kisses that night were men, Darren face palmed himself lightly, before turning back to Andrew, "Look, none of us guys want to kiss another guy anymore than the girls want to kiss the girls... I think..." Considering how sweetly Julia kissed Eva, he wasn't so sure it was as big of a deal for the girls as it was for the guys, "The least we can do is take it like a man, and put on a brave face."
Holding up 4 fingers, Darren's face turned gruff. "Four simple rules dude, and you can kiss anyone without making them feel like dog crap. Relax, no tongue, no nose touching, and no sneak attacks. "
Pausing for a moment to recollect himself, Darren massaged his temples, trying to get rid of his headache, "Stay turned next week for my tips on removing your foot from tight premises..." Sighing, Darren made a hurry along motion to Andrew. "Just spin the damn bottle, dude, and this time, wait till you're relaxed, and take it slowly. This game doesn't have to end in 5 minutes you know."

Cody wasn't doing any of that out loud, of course. If anyone broke their eyes from the drama to look at him they would only have seen a sly grin.
Years of "talks" in the Principal's Office had taught him how to contain his more.....extreme emotions. Inside, however, he was cracking up.
I knew he couldn't handle it. Even Andrew was too much for him. He's either a huge wuss or really gay.
"Don't be so hard on him. He'll get better with experience. Just relax, yah?" Klavier said.
"I'm sorry! I-I just wanted to get it over with! C'mon! Give me a break. It's not like you wanted to make out, right?"
Cody almost couldn't contain his laughter that time.
"Look, I'm sorry! I..I just...GOD! Jeez, why am I even here?"
Poor guy.
"That's not for me to say, but don't worry about it. It's your turn."
Cody was starting to respect Klavier. Anyone who stood up for a kid like Andrew couldn't be all bad.

Mr. Edgeworth was walking towards him, obviously angry.
"Eh...H-Hey, Mr...uh...Edgeworth...sir. Nice party, huh?"
Gumshoe put on his best "Please-Don't-Kill-Me-Mr.-Edgeworth-Sir" grin, and waited for the worst.
((Is it cool if we make it so Cody and Andrew are friends at school? I left to where it could just be pity towards him that Cody was feeling. But I think it would be cool if there was a guy (sorry, Julia) who was actively sticking up for him. Also, I'll bring Vera in when Apollo starts participating.))

Darren glanced sideways at Cody and chuckled, “We’ve moved on? Since when were you even in the discussion? If you think you’re standing up for the guy, you’d do better with supporting him in his next spin, rather than posturing like that."
((This is true. Andrew needs confidence. Not someone to argue with other person trying to give pointers… even if it’s someone as arrogant as Darren. He was trying to help in the end.))

((I'm sorry. I accidentally left out part of what he said that I was going to put. The "stop taking it so seriously" part. And maybe I misunderstood, but the "Removing your foot" comment sounded like just another jerk thing to say.
And while I'll let Chase be the final judge as to what Andrew needs, Darren's "pointers" sounded a little too bitchy to be helpful.
