Klavier had been wondering why Apollo had been glaring at him so intently before he noticed he'd been chewing on a chocolate digestive he'd nicked from one of the biscuit tins on the table. Klavier gave a "oopsy sorry" shrug and ruffled Apollo's hair. "Ah don't worry about it kid. Wright won't mind. Just as long as I don't touch that wine cache I'm sure he's hidden somewhere."

Apollo mentally frowned at 'kid', but chose to ignore it and squeezed his eyes shut when Klavier ruffled his hair. Why did people always do that?! With his feathers rumpled, he let out a small sigh.

Klavier raised his finger and pointed at the ditzy girl balancing the statue on her head. "Nein Lin, you don't have great balance and I'm not paying for that. I take it you two want to go check out the scene, ja? I'll drop Blake a line and get him to meet you there to let you in, ok?"

He then whipped out his phone with an overdramatic flourish and texted Blake to inform him of the plan.

Blake considered calling Mr. Gavin and asking about Lin's name being on the court schedule, but it really wasn't his business.
"I thought we were going to watch a trial, Uncle Jake." Misty said sweetly.
"What?" Blake realized that his walking had led them outside and up the street. He hadn't really thought about where he was going, just that his legs needed to move. "Oh, yeah. Right." He turned around.
"You're acting really weird." Misty observed. "Did you suffer a head injury before picking me up? Because you've been walking kind of wobbly. You know, they say that you shouldn't sleep if you have a concussion."
"That's a load of shit." Blake replied. Misty looked surprised for the second time that day.
"Uncle Jake!" She exclaimed.
"Well it is." Blake replied.

Linali decided to take Klavier's advice and took the statue off her head, placing it neatly on top of Apollo's. He had had his hands out, waiting for her to place the spaghetti sculpture in them, and was now frozen in that position, terrified to move in case Mr. Wright's statue slipped off his gelled noggin and crashed into a million pieces on the floor.
Oh man, he really didn't want to clean it up if that happened.
Linali didn't seem to notice his distress and smiled complacently at nothing in particular.

Blake jumped when his cellphone went off. He had it set on vibrate for text messages so Misty wasn't really aware of why he'd jumped until it took it out of his pocket.
"Speak of the teufel." Blake muttered.
"Teufel?! Sie arbeiten für den Teufel, Onkel Jake?!" Misty was even more shocked than she had been from when he swore.
"What?" Blake's face scrunched up. This was just getting absurd.
"The devil!"
"Oh what? No, that's just one of the words I picked up from my most frequent client." Blake replied and turned to walk the other way again. He couldn't remember if his car was at home or in the court house parking lot. It might take too long to figure out which so he just whistled for a taxi. When one pulled up he gave Misty a wad of cash. "Here, go shopping or something. I'll give you a call when I'm done."
"What? But Uncle Jake. I want to go with you."
"Sorry, kiddo. Gotta work." Blake shrugged and got into the cab.

Edan was demurely sipping a cup of tea which his other sibling had made him. There was a stony silence between them. Unsurprising. Scarlet did say she was going to get him back for his explicity earlier. She'd caught him coming in the house and gave him a vicious barley sugar. WTF she broke the skin. Edan rubbed his tender wrist, then looked up at Scarlet.

"Oh no no no. Of course not." Scarlet replied, staring at the space above Edan's head rather than his face, with worryingly wide eyes. "I'm just persuasive, you know that. Besides, the sister of ours is innocent, and I wasn't about to let them shove her in a little cell for another day. It's just improper."
Scarlet ripped her gaze away from the empty space and wrung her gloves hands together slightly, pattering into the kitchen.

Phoenix poked his head into the room curiously. He'd just been taking a walk home to enjoy a little lunch of hot ramen before going back to work when he heard the scream. He didn't say anything to anyone as he looked inside. He just scanned the room and noticed what the offense must have been. His big black eyes flicked up to Apollo, over to the mess, back to Apollo, then he stepped inside.
"You're gonna need a broom for that." He declared nonchalantly and wandered over to the kitchen area.

Scarlet seemed to be having great fun cutting up a chicken for her soup.

Phoenix wandered back in once he realized there had been people in the room besides Apollo.
"I'm making ramen." He pointed behind himself at the kitchen. It was hard to say whether that was an offer or just a simple declaration of his actions. It didn't help that he returned to the kitchen immediately after saying it.

The police were not at all happy when Blake arrived. This was probably because he'd been put in charge of a case and he wasn't even a real detective. At least, not by their standards. To them a private dick was nothing more than a camera with legs. He slipped into the shadows fairly simply since none of them really wanted to even acknowledge he was there. He gathered bits and pieces of information just because he happened to be in the room while things were being discussed. He even learned of the current sleeping arrangements for a few of the officers.

Linali crossed her arms, sighing angrily to herself, and Apollo returned shortly afterwards, armed with a dustpan and brush. He swept up the mess with frightening efficiency, and one could only assume that he was used to cleaning. Of course, Linali was highly impressed by the attorney's sweeping skills, and blurted out,
"Were you a maid before you became an attorney, Mr Justice?"
The pure innocence and sincerity radiating from her voice prevented Apollo from getting wound up, so instead, he settled on looking horrified.
"I... What?!"

Edan could barely hear the telly over his sister's loud singing. He rolled his eyes and walked into the kitchen, abandoning the catchy chime of 'I Love It When You Call' emanating from the television. He'd whacked his knee off the coffee table getting up and the fact that Little Socks had been clawwing at his leg for the past ten minutes coz he hunggee meow did nothing for his mood. He faltered when he attempted to open his mouth and say something decidedly derogatory and instead observed Scarlet preparing the DINNER. The way she diced the vegetables with deadly precision, the carrots cut into tidy slices... the way she sliced the chicken with the skill of a master... it made him wonder where she'd learned to prep like that. He didn't recall her ever taking culinary classes, or working in a kitchen. And their deadbeat tramp of a mother wasn't likely to have taught her...

Curiouser and curiouser. Oh well.

"Who knows!" Scarlet yelled back enthusiastically, scraping off a heap of chopped vegatables into a large pot. She was telling the absolute truth- whenever she cooked, she'd usually end up throwing ingredients together and hoping for the best. Being technical was just so boring. The preparation was the best part by far.
She crossed over to the chicken carcass and looked at it in disdain, before picking it up with her free hand and flinging it at the bin. Like hell she'd make chicken stock out of that. If Linali was there in the kitchen at that moment, she would've gotten an earful about being 'wasteful'. But Linali couldn't cook- so Scarlet never listened.
(The younger twin's skills in cooking had never elevated above the microwave meal level. Scarlet could never quite figure out how she managed to remain so skinny...)
'If you can't do it yourself, don't knock it' was one of improvising chef's favourite sayings. Holding true to her philosophy, if Edan didn't like what she was cooking, she was going to box his ears in.

Personality: Hakuro is much like his father in the sense that he has honor for his clients and does whatever possible to keep his client's confidentiality unless the contract is violated. In public, he refers to himself as "Johnothan Smith" and speaks overly formal, even when unnecessary.
Appearance: Hakuro looks like his father, except that his hair is a light brown and he shows no signs of aging. However, he is still slender and wears his trademark article. Unlike his father, Hakuro has a scar down the center of his face with five horizontal scars across the original scar much like a football. He even wears the same tuxedo that his father wore before he retired.

Misc:

Name Definition and Calling Card

"Hakuro" means "Morning Dew" in Kanji and appears to be a combination of the romaji of "Haku" and "Kuro", meaning "White" and "Black", respectively. His calling card reflects this as half the card is white and half is black, split from one corner of the card to the other with a dewdrop in the middle. The half of the dewdrop on the white half of the card is colored black while it is colored white on the black half of he card.

Relations and Justice For All events:

Hakuro de Killer is the son of infamous Assassin Shelly de Killer. During the events of Justice For All, Hakuro was responsible for securing backup hideouts for his father far ahead of time in case the police should ever show up, which they did. Even before Shelly carried out his assassination on Juan, he rented out several in-use buildings as well as preparing those and abandoned buildings. When Shelly got careless and forgot those four pieces of evidence, Hakuro assisted in Shelly's escape when he failed to recover the items.

Trials and Tribulations:

Hakuro was, at this time, training under Shelly to become the next generation of the De Killer name. Neither Hakuro nor Shelly had any connections to any cases in Trials and Tribulations.

7 Year Gap:

At the age of 21, Hakuro completed his training and took on some easy assassinations and, after proving to be a quick study, became the fourth generation De killer at the age of 25 when Shelly finally decided to retire.

"Father, please hurry! The police are headed towards your location!" shouted the eighteen-year-old Hakuro. The police had found Shelly and his captive at Enguarde's Mansion, as he was listening on all radio frequencies.

Hakuro was sitting at the main base of operations, several security monitors scattered to seemingly random places. A few city streets, an elegant mansion with a motorcycle hanging from the ceiling, a wine cellar, a private lounge, an abandoned apartment that has seen better days, and a few hotel rooms and apartment buildings ranging from very disgusting to overly elegant.

"Hakuro, I'm headed to the next hideout. Be sure I am not followed," spoke the much older man. There was rustling in the background along with a girl about his age screaming. Hakuro paid no mind as this was business as usual in the de Killer household.

"Yes, father," spoke Hakuro into a radio transceiver liked straight to Shelly. He began typing keys as the monitors changed to view a road. There were a few vehicles on it including a beige DeLorean, Shelly's pride and joy. Hakuro used the monitors to track the car and a half of a mile behind it to be thorough.

As Shelly and the hostage made it to the hideout, Hakuro switched the cameras over to view the inside of the abandoned building, a few cameras monitoring the outside of the building, and one quarter mile of each road leading towards the building. Shortly after, he saw Shelly and a girl dressed in an otherworldly outfit walk inside the house. Hakuro figured this was the girl screaming over the radio connection.

A few minutes later, Shelly contacted the courtroom through the Defense Attorney's Transceiver while Hakuro overheard. Apparently, Shelly was to be placed on the witness stand using the device. Shortly after his father testified, he saw a shoddy police car followed by several others picking up the rear.

"Father, the police are here again. You need to move again," Hakuro stated to his father. Shelly then quickly severed the connection to Hakuro, who saw Shelly and Maya swiftly leaving for the next hideout. However, he saw his father go back in just as the police were entering. Hakuro was curious why he went back inside. As he tried to warn his father by any means, Shelly encountered three police officers, which Shelly swiftly subdued, but more showed up and Shelly was forced to retreat without the evidence he left behind.

"Misty, I told you to go shopping." Blake grabbed her arm and yanked her towards the exit.
"I'm sorry, I just wanted to see you work." She said softly. Her lip even quivered. "How come you aren't at the hospital? Are you making a house call? Is one of the officers sick?"
"Yes, now go." Jake pushed her through the doorway. She made a single spin and looked at him curiously. "Then can I watch?"
"No." He answered coldly.
"But I just got here. I have no where else to go. Nothing else to do. Realmente lo abbandonereste, zio?" Her eyes shimmered with welling tears. Blake sighed dejectedly.
"Don't touch anything." He grumbled.
"YAY!" Misty bounced back in.

Klavier was rolling his eyes. Linali had seen an apple in a tree which she suddenly desired, and was using her mentor as a makeshift ladder. He was making as awkward as possible for her, shaking her back and forth while screaming "Argh, I feel an earthquake coming!" and moving his head every five seconds. After several fruitless minutes (lololol), Linali hopped off his back. Klavier turned around and noticed Blake locking up his car.

"Ah, Blake, mein mann. I'd love to stay and help with the investigation, but I've to take care of some paperwork at the office. Take care of mein Fraulein, ja? Auf wiedersehn!" he said before jumping onto his bike, and flying off down the street.

Edan was playing around with his DINNER. He was half afraid to even try the bloody thing, for fear of spitting it out in disgust and getting a face like a wellsmacked arse from Scarlet. With a grimace, he stabbed a lone piece of chicken, taking some of the peppers in the sauce with it, and shoved it in his mouth. He chewed ferverently for a few seconds, then slowed down as an all too familar taste burst through. "...is there chocolate syrup in this?!"

"Well, I wasn't complaining, but ok," he replied nonchalantly, popping another piece of this...unique concoction into his mouth. Edan then stood up on the table and starting a rousing rendition of Maneater, much to Scarlet's delight, who happily clapped her hands in time to thundering drum beats that were coming from...somewhere. :DDDDDDDD He twirled the Super Noodles (or improvised spaghetti as Scarlet insisted) around his fork and gently pulled the threads into his gullet.

In one swift, graceful movement, Scarlet had flung herself across the table and grabbed Edan by the front of his sweater, sending them both crashing into the floor. She even growled for effect, or at least, that's what Edan would have liked to believe. (She was already animalistic enough...)

Edan's heart broke as the plates came crashing with them. Particularly Scarlet's which was one of Linali's favourite plates, as it had a rather adorable picture of Little Socks superimposed on it. Lightly banging his head off the ground, he stood up and dusted himself off.

"You know there's going to be blue bloody murder when she sees that plate broken".

Scarlet snorted, though her eyes were darting nervously to the mess of china on the floor. She whipped off the tablecloth and promptly laid it across the floor, scraping up the shards with no grace whatsoever. Tying up the tablecloth to prevent the pieces falling out, she trundled into the kitchen and dumped her parcel next to the bin.

Stickler'd been flicking through his book absentlymindedly, while he was walking down the street. Silly obsession, but worth it. The chicks dig smart guys don't they? Wuthering Heights was turning out to be an engaging read, well worth the 10$ late fee he'd racked up. Stickler wasn't one to take things at face value. He was a curious man, and had to dissect each article, poem or book he read, trying to find some hidden meaning. Only thing that had been enlightened so far was his wallet.

Before he'd realised it, he was outside the impressive Global Studios. Rather imposing, but he decided to try and sneak in. A certain actress seemed to like flashing her undergarments on camera.

After a bit of shuffling, Apollo and Linali had stumbled awkwardly through a door at the same time after Blake opened it. There was a definite question in his eyes, but he didn't seem to voice it. Perhaps not wanting to dampen the currently good mood? Either way, Linali dusted down the front of her dress curtly and began to drag Apollo along to the scene of the murder.
He sighed in defeat and allowed her to guide him through the main reception. It was eerily quiet.
"Mr. Justice, you're so slow!!"

Stickler'd managed to break the door after shouldering a couple times. And quite possibly his shoulder. Things always look easier on those rather droll action flicks. As he slowly traversed the dark, gloomy entrance chamber, his heart sank when he heard voices. He swiftly hid behind a samurai suit, and failed to notice the fatal strip of his robe sticking out on to the floor.

Apollo had managed to gain control of the situation, and was now free of the vice grip that had ensnared his arm moments before. Linali trawled behind him, apologizing fervently for the freshly made red marks upon said arm, and Apollo insisted that it really didn't hurt.
Oh boy, did it hurt. It almost reminded him of those chinese burns the kids would give you at school ~~for lulz~~.
"... Really, it's okay! Trucy's grip is just as... Err... Intense."
"I am so sorry!"
He turned his head slightly to smile at her; in the hopes that it would calm her down somewhat, not noticing the small patch of posh fabric on the floor. He promptly stepped on the corner of Stickler's robe, and nearly slipped right over, steadying himself just in time.

"OMG HI!" Misty greeted Lin enthusiastically. She grabbed the girl's hand and gave it a vigorous shake. "I WATCH YOUR SHOW ONLINE ALL THE TIME!" She squealed. "I'd watch it on TV but they only have you over here. Uncle Jake! You didn't tell me you have famous patients!"
"I...I don't...I'm just helping out in my spare time." Blake cleared his throat and pulled his niece off the tv star. "Sorry about that. She's excitable..." He muttered.
"GWEEE! I've never been in a studio before!" Misty ran down the hall.
"Misty!" Blake called after her. "Wait!" He gave a dejected sigh.

Stickler's heart beat went up another level when he'd heard the voices coming closer. Just about as he was about relax, he felt a sharp tug at his robe, and being unprepared for the vicious assault, he flew out of the alcove and landed on his back. Right under Linali's skirt.

Why hello...

His thoughts were brutally cut short when the samurai armour had finally decided to burst from it's resting place and land on top of him.

Blake acted pretty quickly on getting the armor off the man. He was deceptively strong for his lanky build. On instinct he examined the man for any major injuries, then stood up and had a long drink from his canteen. He should probably go after Misty, but her not being in the room was only bound to make things easier on him.

Apollo let out a sharp yell (fresh from the chords of steel) as the samurai armor fell, and quickly hopped to one side before it crushed his foot.
"AHHHH!"
Linali looked around, flustered by the sudden burst of activity, with a bemused smile on her face. She didn't really know how else to react, and it was an automated twitch of her cheeks that caused her to grin in such a manner.
