"Ex... girlfriend..." Catching back up to speed as Dawn got off him, Phoenix raised his hand to cradle his dazed head, "I think I remember Apollo mentioning a girl like you once..." When she complimented his looks, Phoenix glanced aside shyly, not sure if she was hitting on him, or just being nice. Moving his hand to graze over his stubbled chin, he remembered that he hadn't shaved that morning. It was showing.

"I understand how you haven't heard of me, I only finished my first case yesterday. The defense attorney, my borther, had somehow gotten the guy an aquittal. But, whatever, I'll get the guilty made guilty next time."

Glancing back at Dawn, he noticed her hand. That was a bit more his speed. Friendship it was then. Reaching out and grabbing her hand, Phoenix smiled, "As long as the truth is brought out in the end. There's nothing wrong with taking bad people off the streets."

Klavier met Ema's eyes in a sort of surprise. She looked so determined, so eager, so... concerned. A smile crept up his features as he veered his gaze, as smug or arrogant as it may have appeared to be, and went on. "I just want to know what Kristoph's intentions are by coming here, that's all." he said. The rockstar's smile gradually faded, and his eyes took on a certain degree of thoughtfulness. "Why now, and why here of all places? This all can't just be one big coincidence..."

"Fine. I'll assume that you tried to do the dare, and failed, and don't want to admit it."

"Tch. Whatever, man." she mumbled, not particularly concerned if he'd heard her or not. It hardly mattered either way; the conversation was pretty much over. Assuming her signature slump, she pivoted herself around, about to tail behind the two-toned detective, before a vibrating sensation in her pocket made itself known.

Sean fished her phone out with a practiced movement and flipped it open, pressing the receiver firmly against her ear. She didn't need to look to know what this was all about. "Yeah, it's Nishon. What do you want?"

The call was far from casual, far from pleasant; if someone from forensics rung you, what more could you possibly expect? The armed detective shuffled about just outside the kitchen door as the prick on the other end jabbered on, answering back every now and then in her usual peeved tone, but otherwise kept her volume in check. As unruly as she was, she was still a professional; work was a very private and delicate matter. Wouldn't want any classified information getting out to the public well before they were due.

((I think this goes without saying, but try not to get either of my characters too involved, at least for now. Unless you want the RP to, you know, suffer constant death. xP I've been very occupied lately.))

Ema sighed, looking over in the direction of the kitchen. "...yeah, it's weird. I thought he...well, you know." She tailed off awkwardly. "...It bothers you, though. I can uh...tell." She folded her arms tightly around her body. What am I doing...?

Kristoph peered after Zeth, just managing to be able to identify which shape was him. It seemed nobody had noticed him remove his glasses - either that or nobody particularly noted how alike Klavier he was. Sighing, he leant back, unbuttoning and slipping off his jacket to place it on the back of his chair. No sense in ruining an expensive suit, after all.

((It's a sailor-fuku (I think that's what they call it) uniform. She actually fits it somehow. She's a bit of an otaku, just she rarely shows it outside of SS))

"Finally, a defense attorney who DOESN'T hate prosecutors," she said, smiling politely as she shook hands with him. "I'm going to hang my coat up on the coast rack if you don't mind. I should of done that as I entered, but I'm a foolishly foolish fool."

Gah, those conversations with that von Karma lady are rubbing off of me.

She courtsied (sp?) and left the hallway for a seocnd. She hung up her coat and made her way back. Amazingly, she didn't realise that she was wearing her sailor outfit. Instead, she thought she was wearing some proper dress clothes, or something more casual.

"The suit still fits you perfectly, I see," she said to Phoenix on her return. "May I take a seat? I'd like to hear some stories from the defense's side."

"May I take a seat?"

You may... if you don't mind going to fetch another chair. Theresa thought, as she perched herself on the chair nearest to Phoenix. It wasn't like her to be catty, not even in her own head (though she considered biting sarcasm acceptable), but something about Dawn really got up her nose.

"Stories from the defense's side? I can definitely think of a few." Theresa smiled sweetly. "Remember the case I first met you on?" she inquired, turning to Phoenix. "At the risk of sounding clichéd, I seem to recall that being one of the best things that came out of a murder accusation."

Realising that could sound misleading, she abruptly added, "The meeting part. Not the murder part."

"That it does." he remarked breathily, fingers gliding coarsely through his pale yellow locks. "I was informed some time ago regarding his parole, but they refuse to tell me the details. It's very... troubling." The tone of his voice was started to hint a growing frustration. "And then he turns up in front of the house of a man he went to great lengths to frame--for a young fräulein's party, no less--where I just happened to be, as if nothing's ever happened? What exactly is going on here?"

Stilling for a moment, Klavier closed his eyes, allowing for the air to slowly ease out of his nostrils. Yes, breathe. Breathing helps. "My apologies, Fräulein. I didn't mean to burden you with my troubles." a smile returned to his features, and his soft blue eyes opened to meet hers. "But your concern is duly noted. Vielen Dank."

"It's not a burden.." Ema waved a hand dismissively. "You need to tell someone, right?" She wasn't denying that she was concerned, and was unsure of whether to smack the statement away or not. She decided against it, but got the sneaking suspicion that she'd be teased about it. Well, it was Klavier. She was used to it.

"Not sure you'll want my uh, advice, but..." She paused. "If he came here, he must have had a proper reason. I mean," Ema added quickly, unsure of whether her backing Kristoph in a sense would upset Klavier. "He wouldn't just turn up to where the person who convicted him lives if he was guilty." She tapped her glasses absently as she thought about the details of his case. Was there really any room for doubt?

There might have been a drift somewhere or it might be imagination at work, but it was as if the air around them suddenly turned to ice. Klavier's expression gave no hint of distaste, masked under his smile as he usually was, but that along with the rigid quality of his voice might have given it away. "...Do you truly believe Kristoph was innocent of his crimes?"

Ema winced at her mistake in wording, frowning. "That's not what I said, Gavin." She looked at the smile still plastered on Klavier's face and turned away. "And could you do me a favour and stop pretending to be okay? I can tell you're not, so..." Tapping a finger on her arm worriedly, Ema's frown faded into a steely line. ...Of course he's not okay - he'd only just got over convicting his own brother when he comes waltzing into the scene again.

"Excellent. I'm glad I'm understood then," Aphra smirked slightly, shifting closer to Charrisa, "Lets get this over with then, shall we?"

Leaning forward in a way that Darren couldn't see the kiss, Aphra pressed her lips to Charrisa's in a way to show that if she WANTED to, it could've been a great kiss but she was in control so it was mearly a good one. Hoping that Charrisa would keep drama to a minimum, Aphra decided not to pre plan the kiss too much. It'd be over before she knew it.

Darren

"Awe," Darren said as Aphra shifted in his view of the kiss, trying to glance around Aphra without looking like he was putting much effort in. IT was the second best part of the game after all. First being him getting to kiss girls without the social pressure of their hordes protecting them... He did however not want to concern Nadine too much with his curiosity. Being able to see it was only a bonus after all, cause he knew how good their kisses were. To see it in action... it was an enticing thought.

Alex

Getting a good view of the kissing, Alex's face turned flush for a moment, not being use to seeing Aphra kiss someone else. After all the effort that went into their relationship, he wondered if there was anything there to begin with. What was it with girls? How could they hide how much they liked you so easily? He wish that girls had a label on their forehead saying 'Only wants fun' or 'is worth a date' or 'is in it for the long run'. He didn't know why it was so interesting to Darren. The challenge of finding a girl that actually liked him didn't seem an appealing task to him. He'd much rather be training.

Phoenix

"Wright, it's good to see you again. I'd like to thank you once again for inviting me." Thalassa mentioned in passing, heading off to the table. Phoenix raised his brows as the soft spoken woman joined the table politely. He wondered when she was going to tell Apollo the truth about who she was. Maybe she was too shy about the whole ordeal. She had been missing for most of his life, and blind for nearly 10 years. Perhaps she was relearning life, and how to live it happily. She had been through so much that last year.

"No problem, " Phoenix smiled, "And if you want me to help out with you know what, just..." Pausing for a moment, Phoenix straightened up his tie, the importance of wearing a suit, no matter how dusty it was returning to him, "Tell me how I can help and I'll be more than happy to."

Turning to the woman that ran into him, Phoenix flicked his hair back again from it's dislodged position.

"Yeah, i've made it a habit never to judge another based on their employment. There are plenty of good lawyers and prosecutors, as there are the crooked ones. Even someone as cool Miles turned out to be one of the good guys in the end!"

I'm pleased about that too. He's one of the reasons I fought to become a lawyer after all. I'm glad that the real Miles is back, and no the one Manfred VonKarma manufactured.

"Finally, a defence attorney who DOESN'T hate prosecutors," Dawn replied. "I'm going to hang my coat up on the coast rack if you don't mind. I should of done that as I entered, but I'm a foolishly foolish fool."

"Oh, I have one over there," Pointing to beside the door to the hallway, a coat rack sat waiting to have some textile attention drawn to it. Dawn curtsied to Phoenix and placed her jacket on the coat hanger. Turning around to come back, Phoenix raised his brows once more as he saw her now in a cute sailor outfit. The short skirt she was wearing now made alot more sense. Pausing for a moment, He wondered how he would've been if she had leapt up at him in that outfit. She looked very cute indeed.

"The suit still fits you perfectly, I see," Dawn broke his train of thought catching him in his thoughts, "May I take a seat? I'd like to hear some stories from the defence's side."

"Oh," Turning slightly flushed in the face as he glance down at his suit, she had obviously missed the dusty waft coming from his unused clothes, and the fact that although he hadn't gained weight, he still wasn't as slim as he use to be when he was still in practice. Perhaps she approved of the slightly tighter fit?

Breaking out into a shy laugh, Phoenix gave a slightly awkward grin as he tried to figure out if she really DID like it, or if it was more of a 'Get the suit back on and become a lawyer again already'. HE had already had MANY of those speeches from his friends since he was proven to have not forged evidence. He had alot of catch up study to do however to learn all the new laws since he had left. Apollo was helping him out, but in the end, it was a waiting game.

"My defence stories have all been told many times before, but I suppose I could tell them again?" Phoenix replied, giving her a kind smile as he offered her his hand to guide her to a seat, "I see you've met Miss Von Karma. How is she doing these days?"

Zeth

Noticing Sean take a phone call with a slightly more agitated expression than normal, he frowned, not being entirely sure if it was a call out. Was she working? or was this just someone she didn't like. Sighing with a slight amount of frustration in his voice, Zeth turned to Miles.

"Ok. I think that I understand the rules then," Turning to Kristoph, Zeth offered his hand to the man as he got out of his seat, "As this dare does not stipulate what clothing you are wearing in the dare, and where the dare takes place, I am going to ask if you would like me to throw what ever random substance it is that I throw at you in the shower, where you can change into whatever level of clothing you wish to be soaked in, and then be washed off afterwards if need be. You could also wear a shower cap there too, to protect your hair."

Wanting to give Miles a 'Take that' expression, he felt the extra burn was unnecessary. His solution alone was enough to have Miles wanting his 'revenge' on him also. Instead, Zeth stood proud, and slightly cocky. If Kristoph took his option instead of the full dare, then it was fair game to give him a nar nar sign then.

((Heheh- sorry. If it were ANYONE else, I would've done it, but Zeth is an analysis. If he spots an out, he'll take it. Specially since it's two against one ^^ Looks like it's war XD ))

Dawn laughed as he gently grabbed his hand "Thanks. Well. She's been working with my mentor on this large top secret case. She's an arrogant little bizzum, but she treats me like her own daughter. She needs to learn not to whip people though. if there's something wrong, she whips my mentor. Luckily, she's never whipped me. She won't tell me why though." She nodded in thanks as she sat down. "How about your first trial? I've always been curious as to what happened then."

She then heard Theresa talk. That woman has a problem with me, I can sense it. Can she see my true nature somehow?

Appreciating Zeth's swift exposure of the loopholes, Kristoph gave him a small smile, taking his hand to help himself up from the seat before releasing it. He gathered up his jacket and slung it over his arm, scooping up his glasses to place them carefully in a jacket pocket.

"That's a good idea," he said quietly, shooting Miles a small glance. He wouldn't be too pleased with the amount of loopholes he'd left. "Hm...do you think I could borrow something of Phoenix's to wear during the ah, dousing?" He chuckled softly.

Kristoph was noticeably quieter and less...snarky than usual. He had been thinking about...everything. And, hide it as he may, the way everyone behaved around him...he didn't particularly care much for it.

With a sigh, he turned back to Zeth, small smile back in place as he awaited the answer to his question.

Klavier's grin could only grow wider. "I would, but teenage angst just isn't my scene, ja?"

For a moment he considered slipping back into his usual playful self, but decided against it. He found an actual conversation to be quite the rarity as of late, considering everything that has happened within the past months, so why should he not savor the opportunity now that it has presented itself? And besides, it was his Fräulein Detektiv he was dealing with here; it made this all the more gratifying.

"In any case, you need not worry about me." Resting his back against the wall, the purple-clad prosecutor assumed a more relaxed stance, his voice as calm and collected as ever. "But I would compare Kristoph's innocence to buying front-row tickets a day before a Gavinner's concert. The chances of success are slim to none." he said matter-of-factly. "His motives were... questionable, true. But that does not change the fact that he had committed murder; we've proven this much in court. And for that he must serve his time."

He turned his head away. "...That's all there is to it."

Ema nodded stiffly. Everything he had said was true, unfortunately. Personally, she was still 100% sure of Kristoph's guilt as well, it was his motives that she questioned, like Klavier. She rested her own back on the wall opposite Klavier, her arms falling out of their folded position so that she could place her hands in her pockets.

Annoyed that he had adopted her habit of turning away when hiding emotion, Ema sighed. "Klavier..." She resisted the urge to copy him and turn away. "...That may be all there is to it for us personally, but legally the case has left too much room for doubt. I mean, there must be a reasonable amount of doubt to have let him out into the general population." She frowned to herself, looking at the side of Klavier's face that she could see. "They won't tell me anything, even though I was part of his conviction, so I don't really know any more than you do."

Pausing as she realised she was probably worsening things, she grasped awkwardly at something comforting to say. "He can't hurt you while I'm here anyway." Eyes widening at the unintentional ambiguity of her own statement, Ema atached a hurried sentence to the end. "Uh - as a detective."

"I don't quite understand why they would grant him conditional release. Kristoph was guilty of his crimes, no question; we established a rock-solid case during the trial. Unless... Hmm..." he trailed off, eyes narrowed as he stared off into the distance, cogwheels in his mind ever-turning.

He would be lying if he said that he never considered it, but it was all baseless conjecture. After all, there was nothing he could think of--and he thought of it often--that ever suggested the existence of a third party responsible for Kristoph's wrongdoings. Unless the higher-ups chanced upon something?

The thought that someone was adamant enough to look deeper into the case caused a wave of shame and guilt to wash over him. For Klavier that case was long buried underneath the ground, done for, never to be touched again. One would think that being his brother he would be more vigilant. Perhaps he was too much of a coward to know the truth behind it all and the bitterness had gotten the best of him. But even if Kristoph truly was but a pawn of a criminal mastermind, what would that change? He would still be a murderer. It won't bring him back.

Klavier breathed out a weary sigh, a faint smile returning to his lips. "Danke, Fräulein. That's a comforting thought. But do remember to take care of yourself, ja?" his tone took on a certain seriousness, "...I'm not certain if I'd be able to retain my sanity if you were taken away from me, too."

Ema's surprise at Klavier's serious comment about her was muffled slightly by what he had implied. Suddenly, the pieces in her mind clicked together. So that was what bothered him. Klavier had lost whatever relationship he had with Kristoph by convicting him, and from what Ema had heard about the two of them, they used to be quite close. The fact that Kristoph might not be fully guilty of his crimes had rendered the destruction of their relationship somewhat unnecessary.

Pushing herself off the wall, Ema lowered her eyes for a brief moment before determinedly returning her gaze to the prosecutor. "...He can't take me away, Klavier." Uncomfortable, she shifted her weight from foot to foot. "I...You should know me better." She forced a light laugh, attempting to put some good humour back into the situation before realising that whatever way this conversation went, it wasn't going to be lighthearted. "...It's not your fault, Klavier."

(Hmmmm... Is there any character's left to join this? And yes, this is my style of speaking out of RP. Got a problem? Deal with it. I do it how I do it, ja?)

((Then they need to age a year or two before I'll let them in. I'm mostly concerned about the age difference. It's only a few years so I can't see it being a big deal. Unless its a canon PW character age. I want there to be a clear distinction between the high school students in the kids game, and the adults. I originally requested an adults game sidelining the kids one cause we were getting alot of older people joining and I didn't like the thought of 16 year olds HAVING to potentially kiss 34 year old men. Just a tad creepy. If they're classified as adults, then I'm fine with it. That is why 19 isn't an option. ))

"How about your first trial? I've always been curious as to what happened then." Surprised that she'd want to know about something that happened so long ago, Phoenix again was surprised. His first trial? Wasn't half as spectacular as Apollo's first trial with... Kristoph. Was that all REALLY a front? Kristoph's guilty verdict? He was so confused about the whole thing. He didn't know who to believe now. All the evidence pointed to him being guilty, but... something inside of him wanted to believe that Kristoph was being puppeted... It seemed so unlikely though...

"My first trial," Phoenix started thoughtfully, "That was so long ago, I can only remember pieces of it. One of my childhood best friends was trialled for murder. My mentor, Mia Fey was still alive back then. It was very nerve wracking for me, btu I got an innocent verdict. I don't know HOW many times I've had to defend him." Giving of a slight 'ha' then, Phoenix smirked, "I never got paid for any of them either. Go figure. It was a murder trial though. I only ever got murders. Nothing boring like a trespass or anything..."

"It's settled then!" Zeth announced happily, "Wright, do you have anything Kristoph can change into for the dare?"

"Change into?" Phoenix asked, "Shouldn't he be wearing what he's wearing now?"

"Edgeworth didn't specify that," Zeth grinned, "Go on. I'm sure you've got something funny for Kristoph to wear while he gets dared. You can still get your 'revenge'. You can supervise if you really want."

"Hah," Phoenix grinned, rubbing his temples for a moment, "You're persistent, Gant. Fine then, I'll supervise the dare then. Give me a minute to find her something to change him into."

Getting out of his chair, Phoenix chuckled to himself as he slinked over to the door to the hall. What horrible outfit do I have that he can get wet in?

Raising his head to watch Phoenix disappear into the hall, Kristoph dug into his pocket to replace his glasses onto his face. It unsettled him, not being able to see, so he decided to only remove them when the dare was imminent. He nodded to Zeth in thanks, making his way over to him. "I have to thank you for not being on the ah...'revenge' side of this dare." He chuckled lightly.

Kristoph knew very little about this Gant - the extent of his knowledge was that he was involved in the reopening of his case. But, for some reason, he respected him. If only for his father's authority or his general being. Or the fact that he'd sniffed out loopholes for Kristoph.

Is he...blushing? That's adorable. Well, I guess they DID use to date...

"So...it kind of just struck me that I really don't know anything about you apart from your name and that you're on the ice hockey team at school.... Is it okay if you tell me a bit more about yourself?" Tascha ventured, hoping to break Alex out of the strange mood he seemed to be in.

After all, she'd just scared the living daylights out of him- maybe this might be her chance to show that actually she wasn't all that frightening.

Alex glanced back to Tascha, happy to have ANYTHING to distract him from that kiss, and gave her a slightly relieved look.

"Oh, well you know that I do national grade icehockey with Darren, right? And that I did figure skating a while back, but they kicked me out cause well..." Glancing back to in front of him, Alex twiddled his thumbs around with a slight sulk, "Apparently I was too aggressive on the ice. They told me to come back when I was more gentle. I can do all the moves though."

Taking a deep breath, and letting it out, Alex leaned back onto his hands, "I'm ok at school I guess. Average grades. Math sucks big time but that's normal when you have Mr Weilder as a teacher. I have high grades in Latin... mostly cause Dad drills it into my head. You go to our school right?" Glancing back to Tascha, Alex gave an inquisitive look, "He's the guidance counselor. My mother also works there as the nurse."

Glancing about thoughtfully, Alex tried to think of something else to say, "I hang out with Darren and a few other guys mostly. Julia joins in every now and then, but we're a bit to rough for her I guess. Mostly do sports... rugby, wrestling, roller hockey..." Glancing back towards her he smiled slightly, "I have a few quieter interests though. I do some meditation, and massage. I got into dance a little while back too."

Ducking into his room, Phoenix was a little annoyed that the dare wasn't going to plan. He had to do some quick thinking to turnabout the dare to become in their favor. Grabbing a nearby item from his desk, Phoenix returned to the group with a big smirk on his face as he chucked Zeth his cyan coloured beanie. Zeth gave him a raised brow.

"This is it?" Zeth asked, "That's all the humility you are going to give Gavin?"

"That's right," Phoenix nodded, "Someone else can lend him clothes for this dare, but I'm not going to lean them any clothes. That's only for this dare though." Suddenly throwing his pointing finger out to Kristoph, Phoenix expression turned serious, "Either you do this dare in your own clothing, and I assure you, I will loan you a dry set of clothing, or you do the dare with only that beanie, and what ever anyone else doesn't mind getting. That much of this dare I CAN actually control."

Looking slightly limp faced, Zeth gave Kristoph a shrug, "He's got a point there. I'd loan you my clothes, but I'm already borrowing half of my gear from him. I gave it my best shot. It's up to you if your dignity is worth more than saving face I guess."

"Ja, I know." was his simple answer. It didn't take too long for him to digest what Ema had just said, and to note of her discomfort; if there was ever a good time to inject some of his youthful charms, now would have to be it. Although it could just as easily backfire and add more to the awkwardness. Oh well. He would find out soon enough, wouldn't he?

"He can't take you away from me? Who's he? A rival of mine in pursuit of a certain Fräulein's heart?" Klavier jested, a light chuckle escaping his lips as he directed his gaze back at her. "I'll take that as a vote of confidence on my... potential."

Kristoph's smile had faded upon hearing Phoenix discover a loophole of his own, but it returned stronger as he went into all out attorney mode, with his finger pointed at Kristoph. Reaching up, he placed a finger on top of Phoenix's hand to push it down from its outstretched position. He then folded his arms. "Very clever, Phoenix."

He brushed his bangs to the side as he considered his options. "...I suppose I'll do it in these clothes, then. I'd rather not wear your flamboyant hat if it requires my nakedness." He laughed before lowering his hands to his pockets. "Looks like it's time to get it over with, Zeth."

Despite herself, Ema felt a small rush of relief that Klavier had changed the subject. Sure, it was to flirt with her, but that was more normal than angsting over his brother. "NOT what I meant, Gavin." She rolled her eyes. "Trust me, you're the only one with enough nerve to flirt with ME." She smirked at him. It was true - most of her collegues were terrified of her and her snackoo projectiles.

((Hahah! I was kinda hoping that Kristoph would take Miles and Phoenix head on and take the humiliation vote ^^ Guess his pride isn't as important to him as his humiliation ))

Smirking to himself as he took back the beanie from Zeth, Phoenix gave Kristoph a wink, as he headed off to get a bucket,

"Looks like I've still got it, Gavin," Phoenix taunted, heading through the door. Grabbing the large bucket from his laundry and bringing it back, Phoenix handed it over to Zeth.

"I'd rather you do this dare in the bathroom anyway," Phoenix nodded towards the door, "It's not really an inside dare otherwise. I'll grab Kristoph something warm to change into afterwards if you do it in the shower." Pausing for a moment, Phoenix lowered his voice with a smile, "Oh, and fill it with only water, ok? Miles probably wanted it to be muddy or filled with something horrible, but I think making him wet is enough." Glancing towards Kristoph for a moment then, he frowned, "If he really is innocent, then I guess I need to begin thinking positively of him somewhere.

Apollo smirked as he withheld a chuckle. Seeing his former boss suffer a humiliating dare would definitely be one of the best moments of the year. He frowned though when Mr. Wright announced for the dare to take place in the bathroom. That would severely limit who could see the dare due to space issues.

Kristoph rolled his eyes, at Phoenix. "You've still got it?The ability to humiliate me, yes," he muttered quietly. When he started talking in an undertone to Zeth, Kristoph strained his ears in an attempt to hear. Getting the general gist, his smile faded slightly. Sure, he seemed to think there was a small chance he was innocent, but it seemed he was still very doubtful. So much for old friends.

He stepped out into the lounge, looking over his shoulder at Zeth and Phoenix. "Well, come on then."

Charisa couldn't really control her toughts at the moment.
she knew this was a good time to do something, but it was going to fast.
Charisa quickly wrapped her arms around Aphra while turning in Darrens direction, knowing he would look.
She didn't like doing that, but she felt she had to.

Miles smiled as Phoenix, as planned, confronted Kristoph about the humilation... but a little upset out him not taking it... "Hey, Wright... you have any string cheese...?" He asked, as calm as he could... He really needed to stop acting like his old tutor in the ways of revenge...
