"Uuuwagh!" It sent Guilles flying, spiraling through the air before recovering and landing on his hands, flipping himself to his feet. He felt his neck... ouch... no major damage, but he felt a nasty burn there that was going to take a good while to heal.

"Hmph. Nice technique." He commented, "Time I show you one of mine in return."

With quick speed, he shot himself at his foe... it only took a moment of time before Guilles disappeared midway, then reappeared, sitting on V's shoulders. He locked his legs around his neck, then threw himself backwards, taking V with him with the pull and then hurled him upwards.

He followed by blasting at him with a large fireball, "ORIYAAAAH!!!"

hunter came out a little burned ¨This getting funnier and funnier!¨ He concentyrated, he jumped and transformed himself into mist for a minute then he appeared on Guilles´s head ¨Universal law of Karma¨ Guilles then appeared in the illusion world, then he started to suffer all the pain he had made in his life x 100000000 times, all in one second but for Guille´s it was like months ¨Of course the next time you hit me I´ll feel the same pain, but that makes it even funnier!¨

"That...... was unpleasant..." Guilles growled, feeling immense pain... and grumbling very angrily. He smacks V with a pickle, "Don't ever do that again. It was so bad, it made me want to pee my pants. But not like I'm going to give you that pleasure..." With that, he then began to unleash a multitude of open-palm strikes into V's body, each one colliding with a loud thud... they were coming so fast, that it gave the illusion that there were several hands all colliding into V just before a final blow sent him flying backwards!! "THOUSAND FIST!!" He shouted.

Guilles said, recovering from the attack, "Most vampires fear the sun and are vulnerable to it... but if a vampire is at a high enough level, beyond that of regular vampires... then the light of the sun cannot affect them. Admittingly, it is not very easy to eliminate that weakness." He then pulled his sword out of the floor, having dropped it earlier from one of V's attacks... "Anyway, I apologize for digressing with you, but I just felt you deserved an explanation..."

The path of dead vampires burns away along with all the other legions around him underneath Hubris, who lights up brightly with the flash of sunlight-energy.
He lands casually, the shine of his body now a dim shimmer, and he continues to return at a slow pace.

This action was making him restless. He wanted to do something crazy, there and then, but couldn't yet. Not until all the pieces were aligned just right.

Hunter used most of his energy, he was tired but still he had his will ¨hahaha, I guess I´ll have to finish this in one shot!¨ he concentrated the last remains of his energy ¨SOUL CIRCLE! SUPERNOVA ULTIMATE FLASH!¨ a colorful supernova was released destroying everything, it reached Guilles then he grabbed him from his back....

Guilles was already feeling the blasts as they nearly blew him away. He grumbled... jeez, just how strong was this guy, anyway? He was reeling from those blows. Then he felt V grab him from behind... "Huh? Oh, it's just you. Now what are you doing?"

Guilles then stood poised... the strings fell... he resisted the technique! But he smiled... there was more than he was letting on, but he felt time will explain it better than actions...

"...let's just say... that my aura won't allow those strings to control my anatomy to your liking, mister V." Guilles said, folding his arms, "I've had enough of this battle... to tell you the truth... I'm looking forward to our next encounter. And I suppose I do feel some respect for you after this.
But don't think that it's over. I WILL get my revenge on the Van Helsings, you understand? I, of course, expect you to be there to stop me... I'll look forward to that, and to show you more of what I can do... more than what I have shown you now."

There was a momentary pause as Guilles locked eyes with his opponent, then he smiled, "The two girls are down in the dungeon of this castle. As I've said, they're safe and no harm has come to them. Go rescue them before I change my mind."

With that, Guilles sweeped himself up into his cape and transformed into mist, floating off into the air and disappearing into the foggy sky.

"Keheheh... like you can escape from MY eyes," Hubris said, giggling to himself as he watched Guilles disappear into the night from a tree nearby. Trailing through the immeasurable fog, a thin, semi-invisible thread connected to Hubris's chest, slowly traveling with the mist. A glare was emitting from his head, which disappeared along with the thread, returning things back to normal. "Lucky for you, I am not after the prince at the moment."

He lowered himself from the branches of the tree, returning back to the path of the ground, and resumed his original plan of catching up with the others and following along.

Hunter ran to the dugeon and opened the cage, he saw Maria and Evie and smiled ¨Everyone is upstairs...¨ he then saw many minions getting near, Maria took out her revolver ¨You are not touching mister hunter and sis!¨ she shotted with a marvelous precision and made her way to the exit.
Master and inner saw them and went to them ¨Evieeee, Maria!, I was so so so worried!¨ he hugged them and almost cried.

"Just the creature I was looking for. Yes, I did... twice, in fact, although the second was more as the result of a drunken rampage." He was leaning against a tree now, completely causal. "If you are talking about the first time... I want you to know, it entitles me to that hunter, V. He is now my property, to be used when I see it time."

Walking up close to Dracula's face, he asked "So what is it to you, hm?"

"Do what you want," Hubris said, waving his hand nonchalantly and walking away from Dracula. "but leave him alive. He owes me, so I need his consciousness... and his money, apparently I am on the clock-- MWAHAHA, you can tear the master to shreds for all I care, though!! A little blood and loss would help cultivate things!"

He spun back around to face Dracula, his forehead split-open vertically, a piercing, blue eye staring through it. There was a thin wire-like strand of light connecting Dracula's head to Hubris. "It is in my intention to harvest or sow my 'crop'. Feel lucky you came to see me, before I came to you." The third eye closed, the skin sealing over, and the light-wire disappeared. "Be off with you, I have people to catch, as do you."

Maria was smiling and hugging Master, they were about to reach the exit but Dracula stopped them ¨Sorry but I have bussiness I must end with you before, brother...¨ Master was serious ¨YOU RUN NOW¨ hunter then shouted ¨BUT...¨ Master slapped him ¨RUN OR i´LL KILL MYSELF¨ Hunter was angry but he was his sensei he had to obbey he called Evie, Maria and Inner and went to the exit ¨Where´s the other guy?¨ inner said while feeling really strong auras being unleashed

((If you are talking about Hubris being lust, wrong sin. Otherwise, that's a foot in my mouth, and I am slightly lost as to the nouns and actions. Anyways, I like the climactic showdown about to occur. XD))

((Ah, I see. You know, from what I've known of the Dracula stories, lust kinda takes a part in them, considering all the 'stealing away of maidens to drink their blood' things. That's why it was a little confusing for me while it made sense in a sort of way... did that make sense?))

Hubris stared at the box in his hands. He wasn't quite sure exactly what to do with it-- not that he didn't know what a present was, it was just so unusual and unexpected, it left him out of sorts. He needed to rethink his strategy for killing time and having fun, maybe waiting to take Hunter wasn't the best option-- he should let Dracula deal with Master and concentrate upon his own

Quickly running through the castle halls to find the others, using his powers to smell them out like a hound to the prey, he rounded a corner and found them coming his way.

"Quick, Hunter, everyone, this way!" Hubris called, his innocence with the others ready to play a part. He had left his large mirror standing on it's side past the hallway corner, the glass and bronze disk erect without anything to prop it up. Continuing with his hurried and unexplained call, he finished by saying: "There's no time to explain! Just hurry, this way!"

"Great-- OH, here girls, hold this!" Hubris said, throwing the mysterious gift box that Dracula had handed him at the girls, while tackling Hunter after he had passed. It was a quick sudden movement, and the two fell, their movement only interrupted by the big round mirror Hubris left standing in their path.

Rather than knock it down, Hunter and Hubris passed through the reflective glass, a small ripple emitted on the surface as the last of the two slipped through it. The glass surface returned to normal, and the mirror fell back onto it's bronze back, rocking slightly on the stone floor before just resting in place, a perfectly regular mirror...

In another world, the remains of the destroyed Mirror World, a small circular portal opened up in the void, and the figures of Hubris and Hunter fell through it.

There was no ground to land upon, and gravity held no meaning. The sky was a dark mucky greenish-brown, and an occasional fragment of debris moved by. Hubris had a faint glow in this dark world.

"You'll get your answers as soon as you fulfill that contract you made with me." He said, his face shadowed by his hair as he held his head slack. "Do you remember when you slayed that creature, the one claiming to be a goddess? You borrowed my strength, and gave me a compensation--"
At this, the small glass ball that contained Venus's soul drifted into the middle of the two from the darkness.
"--of this soul... it was a nice trade, but only as a 'mortgage' for your real price. Now, I want my full recompense."

He lifted his face so that what light there was illuminated his third eye, wide open and staring at Hunter. He grinned wickedly.
"I want your mind. Your being. Not something as separative as a soul, I want the whole entity."

"Tehekekek--KYAHAHAHA!!!" Hubris was visibly shaking, throwing his head back with an insane laughter that echoed everywhere in the twisted world, even after he himself stopped.

"I was there with you, you and your master, both whom fought and destroyed that poor woman, Venus! Can't your remember!? Your act created the contact that can only be fulfilled with full payment!" He called, floating forward in the air. He moved very slowly right into the daggers, which passed through him and out the other side of his body, each emerging with a small spray of blood. Not a single scratch remained on his skin, however, after he passed through the wall of daggers, any holes sealing up immediately.

"Your 'fire and steel' can't hurt me..." Hubris mumbled, his mouth no longer moving to the words that came from his body. "I can't be hurt by a mere mortal like you! Not possible, no, no, no! Now run... I like a chase... Run! RUN!! RUUUUUN~!!!"

Hubris began to increase his speeds after the fleeing Hunter.
Upon the daggers that had passed through Hubris were very fine, deep scratch marks, like something had been cutting into the metal of the blades.

"Not so fast." A voice echoed from behind Hunter, and a thin layer of glass came swinging down from above in the shape of a single arcing claw. It slid through his katana's hilt and severed the handle from blade, which fell away harmlessly.

Wrapping one arm around Hunter's shoulder, Hubris was leaning on Hunter's right side. It had been a single moment of distraction for Hunter, but he removed his eyes from Hubris, giving Hubris the chance to get behind him undetected.

While hanging his left arm around Hunter, his right branched forth and around, flattening into the thin-glass sickle that was now only millimeters from connecting with one of Hunter's own outstretched arms. "I can't let you kill yourself now, amigo... you still owe me a paycheck."

"Jeez, you take all the fun out of this..." Hubris said, his arm returning to human shape. "What's the point of an epic battle if you give up-- I can hardly use you like that!"

Hubris kept muttering things along those lines until finally, he turned his attentions back to Hunter. "You wanna see? I am not some brutal monster like that-- 'kill virgins,' indeed, HA! --my aims are my own, and it is my wish to spread my creed. That is where you fulfil your end of the contract."

Hubris's third eye was intently focusing upon Hunter and slowly, the same thin wire-like light from before appeared, trailing from Hunter's forehead to Hubris's chest. He was wrapping his fingers in the cord, twirling and untwirling. "You're mind is much more resilient than that of those minion-level vampires that I fed upon before, so you won't die... but still, any last words?"

While nothing could've been seen while he attacked the Vamps, in this mixed dimension, a very visible claw could be seen traveling down the line and going into Hunter's head.

"You've gotten on my bad side now. Suffer--" Hubris said, staring coldly as he kept his temper down. There was a small jerk upon the cord from him, and the ghostly claw yanked back hard. "--suffer as I wrench your humility and pride from your body." It had to hurt him, having a distinct fraction of his personality torn from him. Hubris felt bad that it wouldn't hurt enough. Clutched within the claw was something glowing brightly a purplish color, which was then pulled into Hubris as the line disappeared.

The whole while, Hubris's aura had been flickering. It was what had happened twice before, a small flicker, brought on by something subtle, but enough to cause his power to seemingly hiccup.

Hubris's aura flickered again. His eyes narrowed. "You're a joke..."

Opening a portal back to his mirror, he said: "I was expecting more out of you, even before I drained you of a vital piece of yourself. You shouldn't die any time soon, but your persona will rot without this part of yourself. I'll let you stay here for all of eternity-- I can be merciful, you know."

Hubris's skin began to shimmer, a slight glow and unfocusing emanating from him. His shape shifted, and very soon, he was wearing the guise of Hunter. In Hunter's voice, he spoke "I hope you don't mind me borrowing this from you? For what I want to harvest from your allies now, I'll need a scapegoat, and with a part of you now with me, I can be you."

He started to step though the gateway. "I dunno who'll win that fight between Dracula and your Master, but neither will live once they and I finish. They both are like a fine wine, something too delicious to simply poison like the rest. Well, ciao, 'me', I have friends to taint with sin!"

Hunter was really angry and a very vicous aura emaned from him ¨Will you let me help you now?¨ the voice inside him said again ¨...¨ hunter´s eyes became red as blood, and then he took his katana, and smiled ¨Master...you saved me now I shall return you the favor¨ the hell simbol became bigger and bigger...

Hubris, who was now wearing the appearance of Hunter, was taking his time reaching the portal. It was hardly 5 feet away from him, but his main concern was to get this man to squirm.
"Oh," The impostor Hunter said mockingly. "Are you finally realizing how deep you are in trouble? Or is it that I struck a nerve when I mentioned feasting on your master and tainting your friends with sin?"

He turned around when he felt something changing in the real Hunter, but kept his haughty attitude about him. "Well, if you wanna do something about it, you'll have to overcome your 'greatest foe' ever-- yourself!"

Still taking his time, Hubris/Fake Hunter leapt backwards into the wide open portal, laughing.

"Whatever it takes... that's what I am." Hubris/Hunter said, drawing an identical katana out, and transforming it into a crystalline version of what the real Hunter's sword had become. "I'm gonna remind you of this just this once-- you are now incomplete. Given enough time, your mind will rot and your 'self' will cease to be, an empty vessel, if you will. I could just jump through this portal now and seal it off to leave that fate to you while I take your identity. Can you bear the burden of knowing just how many people you will hurt if you fail to stop me?"

Spinning the large crystal sword once, he split it into two, each half recovering into a full version of the original. Brandishing twin swords in hand, he spoke one last time: "So, you ready to feel final judgment?"

Hunter had only one shot ¨You are in a very poor disadvantaje my friend...¨ Hunter ran towards his fake self and pierced his left arm ¨My dear fake, you may not know this but in my left arm I guard a seal wich provides me control over myself once its broken I would turn myself into a very disgusting demon¨ he made sure of breaking the seal....

"Tch..." Hubris/Fake Hunter said with a sneer. "I told you I am whatever it takes... your limits don't apply to me."

The wound upon his left arm started to widen, the sleeves ripping with the flesh until the entire section of arm was severed and fell to the ground. It shattered like glass, leaving only pieces of shiny dust and one of the the very large blades.

"Would you like to try again?" Hubris/Fake Hunter said, using his untouched right sword and slicing the real Hunter's left arm, at about where Hunter had sliced his. "Let's see your inner demons, and I'll do you the honor of ending it all for you and them."
