((Okay, I'm not sure I understand what's happening, but...)) Walt ran behind Insani, casting a lvl 7 protect spell so as to repel the monsters. He hoped it would be strong enough. The spell would take up too much energy if something broke through it.

Walt stopped to pick up Insani, keeping his protect spell up. "Insani! Wake up!" he shouted, but it was futile. He picked him up. Insani was a little heavy, but not something Walt couldn't handle. He was losing energy faster now as he kept running with his spell up and Insani on his back. "This is madness! I have no clue where I'm going!"

Insani woke up all of the sudden and said, "...Those monsters...They...talked to me."
Insani said, "The monsters are under a curse."

Insani saw a Mage, and was about to attack, but the mage died all of the sudden.
Insani saw a skeletal warrior, and said, "We can do this the Easy Way...Or the HardWay. Too bad I prefer the hard way."
Insani used a lvl.1 fire spell on the warrior, and kept trying to escape

"Where'd you go?" Walt asked. He kind of had no clue where he was going without seeing where Insani was leadin him. Walt was fighting various monsters at the time, using his protective spells and resisting the urge to actually attack them.

Walt was reinforcing his spells as well as he could. They were almost there. It only needed to hold them off for a few minutes. He felt his energy draining, but he didn't dare undo the spell that was now up to lvl.9 because of all the monsters attacking and his constantly having to make it stronger. "Right behind you," Walt said weakly.

((I posted this already before but meh))

Behind the protect spell, on the side with the monsters, Ty came dashing up with 2 guns firing at the monsters. He kept firing and reloading until he ran out of rounds. There were too many monsters. He realized he had gotten himself into some deep crap.

Oddly enough, he pulled out a cigar and lit it. as the cigar burned, it glowed red, and from that, Ty used a fire manipulation spell to pull fire out of it. It was a lvl 2 spell, so he couldnt cause a huge wave that engulfed some of the monsters, but he didnt want to drain himself either. He continued to cast fire, but there were still to many. "Damn"

Finally he pulled out a high caliber pistol and fired like crazy at the ceiling. Luckily he was able to bring the ceiling down crashing on the monsters.

Walt saw the roof cave in on the monsters, and knew he didn't do that. There was someone out there, and they might need help. "You two go ahead," he said. Then, he threw his protect spell at the monsters, knocking them over as he went back to find the guy who was helping them.

Ty climbed over the pile of rocks and used a fire manipulation spell like a flamethrower to take out any of the remaining monsters. After doing so, he took a look around and noticed Walt. "Quite an attack there, huh?" he said, approaching him. He used a simple spell to actually make fire, just for fun.

"Name's Prince. Tyray Prince." he introduced himself.

"I'm Walt. It's a pleasure. LOOK OUT!" Walt screamed as he did a high jump and cast a lightning spell at the enemies behind Ty. They fell over and some of them twitched. It was only at lvl 2 so they would survive. "Let's go," he added, casting a shield around himself and Ty.

Ty managed to keep up inside the shield. As they were running, monsters were trying to attack the shield. Unsure of how much the shield could take, he used the rounds left in his .460 to take them out. It was a high caliber, and it could go through 2 monsters before finally stopping in the third. But soon, like his revolvers, he ran out of rounds. "There sure are alot of monsters here!" He yelled. A short distance away, he saw the exit. "There's our way out!" He yelled.

"Okay!" Walt yelled back. "This shield won't last much longer, but it'll keep up until we're out of here!" Then, he made it stronger, just in case. The monsters were banging on it, but not getting through. "Here!" he shouted, giving Ty his gun blade. "I can't use it while I'm casting a spell!"

Dark eyes watched the group tunnel out of the ruined cavern, thirsty zombies and monsters following them. She chuckled darkly. Couldn't fight off a couple of baby zombies?
She knelt down to the ripped apart body of a zombie. She kneeled down, pushing the body parts close together, and then standing, tapping her staff on the ground three times, and closing her eyes. The zombie sprung up once again, except, dark bracelets of energy where around its wrists. She pointed towards the group fighting off the monsters. "Help them..." she commanded. The zombie groaned again, walking over to the other monsters, beginning to fight them off.
She moved to another chopped zombie, piecing him together, and bringing him to life once more, the controlled puppet of flesh now aiding the group quivering behind the magic shield.
"Hmph...so very weak, they are..."

Walt saw a zombie roaming around and thought, Shit! He knew his shield wouldn't last against more foes. He was already pushing himself to his limit to keep the shield up. When he noticed it attacking the other monsters, he was a little confused.

She transformed as many full zombie corpses as she could to aide them. By the time she was finished, 10 controlled zombie corpses where fighting under her control. She touched her hand to one of the bracelets on her wrists and closed her eyes, whispering something.

A zombie viciously tore another apart, growing madly. He turned to Walt, smirking and howling. "I'm being controlled!" he growled, pounding into other zombies. "I am here to help!"

Walt was so startled, he almost let his shield disappear ((Because spells as powerful as he made that shield require a lot of concentration and energy)). "Y-yes, um...I don't want to leave anyone in this cave, so I was wondering if you would get out of here with me and Ty. I'll lower my shield to let you in if you say yes. I figure it beats staying here with a bunch of monsters..." he replied.

Walt felt guilty about leaving her behind, but it was the only way for him to live. His shield would be down soon, and he wasn't sure he had enough energy to cast another spell. He ran out of there as fast as he could.

I hit a button on my grappling hook gun and dropped to the floor. I surveyed the ruins of the lab. What I was looking for had to be in here. A locked safe caught my attention. I began to walk towards it but something dropped in front of me. A dead head crab.
I surveyed the body. Long fang marks covered the grotesquely deformed neck. Before I could see more, three head crabs dropped from nowhere. I drew my Magnum and shot them down. I decided this lab wasn't worth it, and turned to leave, but twenty odd more headcrabs surrounded me. I decided I was out of my depth. I saw a figure in the doorway, and shouted
" Couldn't give me a hand, could you?". I drew my pistol again, ready for a fight.

((Um...Okay. I'm not sure how to build off that, but...)) One of the crabs exploded, and Walt was there. After running out of the cave, he came to the ruins of the lab for sleep and shelter, but then all these crabs showed up, and he saw someone fighting them. Intrigued as he was, he couldn't resist helping him.

I didn't know who was helping me, and I didn't particularly care. All I could appreciate was the effortlessness the figure was using to kill the crabs. I joined in, my Magnum blazing as the crabs fell. When they appeared to all be dead, I walked towards the figure.

Argh, that freaking bullet hurt. I should have ran away earlier. But, I HAD to think they had an agenda.

One of the headcrabs wiggled.

'Click'

Then, a transformation happening. The head crab slowly faded away, and in its place, a petite boy (1.42 metres) carrying a green feather on his left hand. The boy was bleeding out of his right shoulder and left arm, presumbably bullet wounds. Immediately, he slumped onto the ground.

"If you wouldn't mind, a little help here please? Those bullets aren't made out of cotton, you know."

I hung back,wary, but when Walt had healed this new stranger, I walked over.
" Sorry about that. My gun seems to have a mind of its own. It might help if you told me you wern't a headcrab BEFORE I shot you. Anyway," I turned back to Walt. " I have a place nearby. It's totally secure, so no worries. Come on," I turn and begin to walk Eastwards.

Walt didn't even hesitate to get on, and almost hated himself for not even being skeptical. He was imprisoned because he trusted too much, in a way. However, he did help save that man's life. Maybe he could trust that he wouldn't do anything...and if he tried, Walt was the most powerful magic user he knew.

The lift descends into a huge lab, filled with Hi-Tech machinery and tanks of multi coloured liquid. One corner is devoted to weapons research, another to genetics. A door leads to a corridor, with comfortable looking bedrooms on either side.
" Welcome to my home, and also the last legacy of Black Mesa," I jump off the lift, and turn to look at Walt. " Maybe I should have said- I'm a Black mesa survivor."
