Yameshi was about to answer Charles when Firestorm entered. Her mouth was still open, so she closed it and waited for Charles to answer Firestorm before she would answer. ((Hopefully my next post will be longer...))

Charles waved his hand and the rebels were at ease. "Why, you've come just in time, my good sir. My name is Charles Raleigh," he said with a bow, "and this young lady is... "My name is Yameshi," Yameshi said. She really didn't like talking about herself, and hoped Firestorm wouldn't ask any personal questions. With Charles, it was a little different. She didn't know why she felt she could trust him and open up to him. Maybe it was because he was the man she hoped her father who she never met was like in many ways.

"It is strange that we stood together, even on the field of battle, and were complete strangers," Charles thought out loud. "Those who fight together should be brothers, for blood is a bond unmatched even by motherhood." He stared into space for a while, but snapped out of it. "Oh! I apologize, I tend to ramble... Well, without further delay, let's be off to the entrance! But..." He turned to Firestorm. "I'm afraid I'm going to have to ask you to cover your eyes with this." He handed him a blindfold. "Also, order your crew to be off. They can't come with us. And if you think about going anyway," he said with a smile, "our snipers are getting antsy."

Yameshi was a little scared of Firestorm. The last thing the group needed was another enemy. When Charles came up with that solution, what he said made sense to her. It wasn't strange to her. Fighting with strangers and trusting them with her life. That was pretty much the story of her life. Sometimes she was stabbed in the back, but most of the time, she wound up fighting with trust-worthy people.

Firestorm rolled his eyes.
"Fine, that works for me." He pulled out a two way radio and pressed the button.
"Relay these orders, boys. Everyone except the drivers is gonna blindfold 'emselves. The drivers 'll follow these guys.Got that?"
"Affirmative, sir."
Firestorm took the blindfold and reluctantly pulled it over his eves, tying it at the back. "Lets move."

Yameshi was relieved Firestorm agreed to Charle's conditions. But she became sad again. Firestorm reminded her of a friend of hers who was killed right in front of her eyes...A powerful fighter who wouldn't leave his men behind. When she thought about it, there were striking similarities between Firestorm and Charlie and other rebel leaders...and they all wound up dead. She tried to shake those feelings away, but she couldn't help it.

"Alright, gents, let's roll." Charles snapped his fingers and the driver nodded, starting the truck and heading off down the dark road. He turned to Firestorm. "So, sir, you've liberated Ireland, you say. Quite a feat for a lone unit, no? It seems our mission will be easier than we all thought." One rebel snorted in disgust. "You kiddin' me? Those bloody Yanks can't touch us. Military," he spat. "Bollocks!" Charles chuckled. "Lady and Gent, meet Richard, my second in command."

Name: Richard Dant
Age: 27
Gender: Male
Group: The Uprising
Appearance: Tall and lanky, with short white hair. Usually wears loose, comfortable clothing and always has a firearm on his person.
Personality: Very blunt and outspoken, but very concerned with others' well-being despite his brash, action-willing nature. He will do anything for his team, and shares Charles' belief that soldiers should be like brothers.
Background: Richard was born in Yorkshire, the rural part of England, and was immediately into the cause of rebellion. He and Charles were friends for a very long time, and even though Richard was always the violent, impulsive one, Charles was the one who started the Uprising, making Richard the second in command, making sure that when action had to be taken that it was.

"Nice to meet you," Yameshi mumbled. She was still too busy trying to get her mind off the fact that she felt something horrible was going to happen to really pay attention. She also couldn't help but question the morality of killing as many Americans as she did. True, most of the time it was self-defense, but they weren't directly responsible for all that's happened to her. If she let herself believe for even one second that all Americans were evil, she wouldn't feel any remorse, but she also would kill them for no appearant reason.

After some time of driving, the trucks pulled up outside of a barn in a rural area. Richard muttered, "Welcome home," and Charles whistled, signaling all the rebels to exit the vehicle, where they then went around and assisted the blindfolded others into the barn, which served as their entrance to the underground base they had.

Yameshi just followed the others, since she had no clue where they were going even though she wasn't blind-folded. Her stomach growled and she realized she was parched. Maybe it was the fact that she now didn't have an adrenaline rush as she felt weaker and more eexhausted than ever. Home. She never really thought about it, but it would be her home after joining these rebels.

Charles led the way into the barn, and inside he walked over to the third hay stack on the left, taking a shovel and clearing it to reveal a secret passage. He opened the hatch and gave a curt bow to Yameshi to let her in, and whistled again, letting snipers out of the hole. They proceeded to climb the ladder to the higher floor of the barn and took their places, watching the woods and surrounding land carefully.

Several bandana wearing freedom fighters were inside the hole, surrounded by boxes of survival equipment, supplies, guns, ammunition, and marked maps with lines and strategies written on them. Charles opened a few boxes, which were filled with food and water bottles, and took a seat at a table with some important-looking rebels. He talked with them for a little while, and they nodded slowly.

Richard led Yameshi to the crates and took a piece of meat and started eating. He put it down and picked up a handgun magazine and loaded his gun. He'd run out of ammo during the firefight with the Americans. "Make sure to eat up good, miss. We'll be out again at 0900, so get some sleep."

Richard snorted. "With what we're gonna do tomorrow, I'm not getting a wink." He leaned in closer and whispered, "Charlie's crazy. Guess where we're going in the morning." He didn't wait for a reply, but answered himself. "We're going to the bloody American News Broadcast Station. The bloody ANBS! He's broadcasting a public message to the Americans. Fool's gonna get the whole U.S Marine Corps. after our arses." He snorted again.

Charles nodded and got up. "The mission's a go, gents. You," he said, pointing at one rebel, "go breif everyone. I'm going off to my quarters." And so he did, leaving the man standing. "Right then. This way, everyone." He pointed down the hall and Richard got up with a grunt. "Cmon, then, miss. Pay real close attention. Charlie's probly cooked somethin' special up for you."

The whole news thing terrified Yameshi. Why does everything scare me all of a sudden? Charles probably knows what he's doing, she thought. Yameshi still wasn't comforted by that thought. Then, Richard told her that Charles probably cooked something special up for her. She hoped that wasn't the case, but Richard knew Charles better than she did. She would just pay really close attention like Richard told her to, since she would do that either way. And so she followed Charles and the rest of the rebels.

The debriefing rebel, who had a very regal moustache, started. "Very well. Now, at 0900 hours, we will arrive at the ANBS, half of us disguised as repairmen to be a distraction. The 'repair' will be needed after we implant our virus into the system. The other half will rapel up the south side of the building and enter through the central air duct. They will then jump and exterminate the staff at Studio B. You will then cement the elevator doors and seal the entrances. Afterwards, you will set the cameras on the desk and insert the antivirus into the computer. That is all."

Charles saluted the man and they all dispersed. Then, he went over to Yameshi and whispered, "Miss, come with me. I have a special job for you. I'll explain in a moment."

"Listen, Yameshi. I need you to do something for me." Charles walked deeper into the base, behind a wall and handed her a small disk. "I need you to hold on to this. Tomorrow morning, you will go into the studio and make it into the President's Office. There, you need to persuade him to leave by any means necessary. Once you are alone, put this into his computer. It will take over from there, and afterwards you can escape, or come with us to Studio B. Don't forget to arm yourself." He pulled out a small handgun. "Take this. Make sure to conceal it well, and hide your accent as best you can," he finished.

Yameshi became nervous again, but she had been ever since joining this group. Maybe it was an inevitable thing after being involved in so many failed rebel groups. "You can count on me," she said, taking the disk and handgun. ((So, do I skip to later that night or do we talk some more first?))

Yameshi was still apprehensive about the mission in general, and she most certainly couldn't go to bed like that, no matter how tired she was. Maybe if she talked to someone, some of her stress would go away. "So...uh...Charles. Um...Why did you become a rebel leader?" she asked. That was only the most unoriginal question ever. He's probably asked that all the time.

Charles opened his mouth to respond but slumped back. "Hmm. Now that I think about it... I'd have to think about it. I guess it was just my patriotism that led me to it in the end, but I remember one time in particular. This beggar girl was asking for change, British-born. Some rich Americans walked by. They hit the poor girl, stole her money. I remember what I did, as well. I chased after them, and knocked them down. I decided to get together and fight the opression," he recalled. "Richard joined me at the start, as well as a few other men around here."

--March 21st, ANBS--

The disguised transport truck pulled into the parking lot of the ANBS and the crew emerged, also disguised as electritions. Under their shirt, they all had semi-automatic 9mm handguns waiting to be unleashed at any time. They went in the front building and approached the secretary, who promptly asked, "Hello, gentlemen. Do you have an appointment?" The leader, Richard, responded, "Yeah, we're investigating a wire malfunction in Studio B." He struggled to maintain his American accent. The secretary nodded and let them in, not bothering to check if it were the truth. If she did, she would have seen that there WAS no problem in that particular part, or in the building at all.

Richard entered the elevator with his unit and snorted. "Electrician. I failed my bloody maths class, for God's sake." The others laughed along. "Hey, Yam. Charlie'll call you in a sec, be ready," he warned, putting a hand on his weapon reflexively.

Meanwhile, another TV truck entered and parked in the vacant back lot. The passengers emerged, not bothering with disguises, but sporting fully automatic M4 machine guns. In the unit was Charles Raleigh, the Irish front, and the elite Uprising operatives, minus Richard. Charles pulled his walkie talkie out and transmitted to the first group.

"Yameshi, listen up carefully. You will get off at floor 6 and ask for the president of the board. The secretary will lead you there, and you need to convince her to leave. We have tied up the president and the one you will see will take your CD and plant the virus. You will then leave immediately after, and enter the elevator to ascend to floor 9, Studio B, where all of us will rendesvous. A-unit, when you enter Studio B, you will constrain all personnel there and set up the cameras, then you will wait for further orders. That is all. Don't fail," he ordered.

"Okay. No problem," Yameshi said, practicing getting rid of her Russian action as she spoke. "You can count on me." She spoke slower than usual, but her accent had disappeared. She waited tensely for the elevator to start and for her cue to get off.

The elevator rang out at the sixth floor and Richard pushed Yameshi out the door and said, "Good luck," before closing it immediately. Then, it went up until it hit the ninth floor, where they came out and the door closed behind them. The first person to see them rebuked them, saying, "What's going on? Who are you?" in a very rude voice, which was silenced as the first gun came out. "We're here for business," Richard said. "We'd like a little bloody respect."

The B-Unit shot their rapel guns just over the Studio B window. As they climbed, the people who saw them gave the group questioning glances. When they did, they were shot with the silenced pistols they were equipped with. They reached the B window and broke in to a fully prepared TV Studio. Charles laughed and came over to Richard. Yameshi was shoved out of the elevator, and heard Richard say, "Good luck." She hoped she would have good luck. She walked down the hallway to the secretary's desk.
"May I help you?" the secretary asked.
"Yes. I need to see the president," Yameshi said, slower than usual, but without an accent.
"Right this way," the secretary said. She took her to a seemingly random door. "This is the office. I will inform him of your presence, Miss..." Then, they heard a gun shot, followed by more.
"Oh, my God! A rebel group is invading! Call for help!" Yameshi shouted over the gunshots. The secretary was too busy crouching in the corner by the door and trembling to pay any attention. Yameshi grabbed the secretary by the hand and dragged them to a cubicle. "You will be more protected here," Yameshi claimed.
"Th-thank you," the secretary stuttered. Yameshi left and went into the president's office. The man was tied up as Charles said. She put the disk in and let the virus spread. When it was finally done, she walked out. The secretary was right in front of her. "Who are you?" he asked.
"I am..." Yameshi began. Then, she pulled out her gun and hit him in the head to knock him out. Yameshi then took the elevator to studio B.

A hystericly scared worker hid in his cubicle, praying the gunshot wasn't anywhere near him. He looked at his computer, as it was making strange sounds. Then they evened out, revealing an orchestrated "God Save The Queen," with a British flag on the screen. This went through all electronics throughout the building, and one secretary dialed the emergency number.

General Randolph picked up the phone, after it was transferred from one of the lowly office boys. "Sir, there's a rebel attack in the ANBS. They've been hit with a virus, they said it was a British anthem." The General gritted his teeth and slammed the table. "Send all available units! Everyone you can find, every surplus, I want recruits in there! Flush the limeys out, and bring me the leader alive!" He barked.

Charles and Richard were at the elevator as it opened, revealing Yameshi. "Ma'am," Charles invited, leading her inside. Richard snapped his fingers and two rebels welded and cemented the elevator doors shut. Charles walked over to the anchor's desk and sat down calmly. The British anthem blared throughout the building and the cameras were being prepped. Richard walked over to Firestorm and pulled him aside. "Listen, we need you and your men to watch the windows and fight back at the first sign of trouble. Got it?"

"Are you sure this is the best way to win?" Yameshi asked Charles. If she had known that the virus was actually going to just play the British National Anthem, she would have questioned this way from the very beginning. She felt a little better knowing that Firestorm and his men would be securing the place, but she was still nervous.

"Got that." Firestorm replied. " Squad 1-east windows, fire at will. Squad 2-North. Squad 3-South. Elite-West." He said, and his men split up, running off towards the directions. " No need to worry-we got the luck of the Irish!" He chucled, before following the Elite squad to the west windows.

The cameras were set and turned on, the lights were poised and the computer technicians were ready to reroute all telivisions to this channel.

Charles cleared his throat and his image was sent all over England and in some parts of Europe. He smiled and said, "Good morning, ladies and gentlemen. I'm sorry to interrupt your regularly scheduled programming, but I'm here to give all of you good news: The opression is about to end. America has no place in Europe and my group and I will make sure they leave before they can do anymore harm to anyone here. I invite you all to join us, and fight against them." And then, the transmission was cut.

The American soldiers arrived just too late, getting to the sides of the building and surrounding it. They burst the door open and tried to enter Studio B, but it was closed. The Marines shot their repel guns to try and get in. "Well, gents," Richard announced, "the show's just begun."

Yameshi decided her question was pointless now as she got her revolver, her knife, and her AK-47 ready. She wouldn't let the Americans catch her off guard.
