Emilio sighed. He knew the first steps to disarming, so he figured he could give them a head start. "I'll start on this," he volunteered as he went around the nuke to find the wiring. Once he found it, he started trying to figure out which color was which wire.

After riding down the neccasary flights of stairs, (and dispatching a few wily turrets,) Brett reached floor 72. Before he came into sight, though, he took another quick peek at the schematics. "Hmm..." He walked over to the group, and got behind the bomb. Lots and lots and lots of wires. "Has anyone built a bomb before?" he asked, hoping someone knew what they were doing.

Seeing Emilio cut the wire scared Brett more than a little. The wirecutter inched closer and closer, and he winced longer and longer. Luckily, seconds later he wasn't dead, so all seemed to be going well. He showed Emilio the schematics he'd downloaded, hoping he could figure out something from it.

Apollo had cut open a pipe and had put bubblegum around the ends. "When the bomb goes off the changed wires will redirect the activating fluid into here!.....Wait a sec!" Apollo had noticed that Brett had accidentally pulled out the fluxcoat blueprints and schematics that had gone missing two weeks ago. Around the time of the assignment. "Brett!" :holdit:

Brett's eyebrows piqued at Apollo explanation. '[i]Activating fluid?[i]' he pondered, wondering how a fluid activates and atom bomb. He was distracted when Apollo yelled his name out. He tapped the 'off' button with his side and ran over, not noticing what he pulled up. "Hm?" he said grinning, secretly scared out of his wits.

Emilio had practically finished disarming the bomb when this whole fiasco started happening. He was losing his focus as a result, and needed to wait a little longer. "Hello! Trying to disarm a nuke that'll kill us all! Sure would be nice if I could concentrate..." Emilio said, not realizing what was happening or the fact that Liam was right there.

"Proton cannon?" Brett asked, hiding his fear behind a smooth voice. "It works fine. On an unrelated note, don't stop by floor 9 for a while. It's... haunted. Emilio, did you need me?" Brett began backing away slowly. Apollo seemed preoccupied, though. "A scanner?" he wondered aloud, quietly. "All I need is a red battle suit and I could run around as Samus."

He shook his head and diverted his attention back to the bomb. It was a complex mess of wires and equipment, with the odd box hanging around. He had no idea what he was doing, but he tried to analyze the contraption anyways. 'The blue wire looks kind of suspicious.' he thought.

"Liquid capacitators?" he asked Apollo. Glancing around the nuke's insides, he noticed a box thing with liquid coming out of it. He didn't see any off switch though. Raising his arm cannon, he turned and asked Apollo, "Can I just hit it?" Just then, Emilio cut the wire. Brett was blissfullly unaware of this, lucky for him.

"Cooling fan to minimum?" Brett repeated, looking around the insides of the nuke. He managed to spot a dial with a fan above it, which he turned to as cold as it could get. A tube filled with liquid turned an off-white color, and the nuke seemed generally quiet.

After the prospect of being the ghostbusters, Brett turned to Emilio, grinned, and responded, "Well, I hope so! Because, well, that'd be awesome." He nodded. "So Polly, is it off?"
