As the goons were sorting out their "problem" the only way they knew how, Christopher was still walking when he passed by a shrine that he often saw when on the Metro. The signpost next to the entrance said " Harukaze Shrine ". Christopher then looked at his credits, then at the shrine, then back to his credits, before deciding to go inside. He then began to look around for some sort of donation box or someone who accepted it. His inner nerd thought that this would build up some good Karma.

It appears I have started a roleplay called A World of Super Humans. You should join it.

"Ah, this is neat"

Julius quickly cut off the tape binding him, leaving one of the goons speechles, and got inside the robot

"Emmmmmm" He pushed a button, and the robot fall to the side. One of the goons approached with a gun.

"Ouch, wrong button" Julius pressed the red button next to the first and the robot, still on the ground, spouted fire like a flme thrower. The goon was close to get on fire, however, he leaped back just in time about 4 meters. 'Long jumps must be his super power' Julius thought to himself.

Slowly, he got up on his robotic feets while the flame thrower was still functioning, and chased after the long jumps goon.

((I hope I got the idea of the human sized robot right. Where is Connor in this scene by the way?))

"Ahh!" Sayoko cried, rushing over, "A... a visitor! It's been a while... oh..." She then bowed at Christopher, "Forgive me... I get a little ecstatic sometimes... I'm the only one here who runs the whole shrine..." She didn't say anything further than that, however. It's mainly because she's somewhat shy around people.

Ty saw it fit to jump in and help Julius. As the goon was jumping Ty fired some shots from his revolvers aiming at a lamp post. He was hoping he could knock it down and block the goon's path.

As Christopher went along his day, the Goons were in quite a lot of trouble. Their target had escaped in that mecha the other kid created, and now some vigilante was attacking them. Nothing was going to plan. Both knowing that Winfred would more likely than not kill or worse, experiment on them, Goon #2 stood under the falling lamppost, while Goon #1 waited for the mecha to kill him.

"Ah!" Beaming at this, Sayoko would happily get her donation box out and hold it out. It was a pathetic looking box, terribly crafted, with poor woodwork. Sayoko then blushed and held the box back, "Sorry it's so bad looking... I don't have the money to afford a new donation box. You see, vandals trashed my last one, so I had to fix it up... I'm not very good at crafting."

Christopher then nodded quickly, trying to avoid any speaking. "Here," he said as he took out his credits, and dropped 5000 C into the box. "Thank you," he said as he started to walk out of the shrine.

Gerald, at the time, was in a shady back alley that are so common nowadays, and was "interrogating" a shady alley-dweller for information on Jack of Knives. " Come on, scum like you always know stuff about the major criminals. If you know anything, I suggest you tell me now," Gerald said as his rip around their neck tightened. " Nothing... Know nothing..." the alley man said as Gerald dropped him to the ground. " If I find out you had information on this guy... I'll let you imagine."

Just then, a large knife landed in the ground at Gerald's feet... Jack's voice would echo around him, though keeping completely out of sight, "Hello, Gerald. I was passing by and just happened to hear you... unfortunately, I don't really have time to deal with you, which is sad, but I guess that's how life is; full of disappointments. Anyway, here's a little present for you... I think you might keep it to remember me in the meantime. Good luck with that little manhunt... or what little you have. Hyeh heh heh heh heh..."

With that, Jack's presence left with his voice...

"Th...thank you so much..." Sayoko then said, smiling at the donation, "...come back anytime, sir! The Harukaze Shrine accepts one and all."

She checked the amount of credits he gave and smiled. What a good donation! She kept the donation box, figuring it would be better in her hands right now... if only she could get donations like this everyday.

She had an inkling, though, that trouble might be stirring. She figured she'd wait a bit and then perhaps, take a look for herself...

Funny, the goon wasn't escaping anymore.

"Hmmm...." Julius had noticed a dark skinned man shooting a lamp post, and killing the other goon with it. However, he didn't feel like killing right now. Killing is not nice.

Instead he got out of the mecha suit and, making sure no one saw it (summoning the portal inside his sweater hidden by the sight of everyone) made a portal big enough for his hand hat only took him a second or so. The exit of it was exactly infront of the backside of the goons left knee.

The knife went in and out quickly, cutting every ligament in the back of the knee, enough to inmovilize the goon without killing him. It happened so fast that the goon wasn't sure what exactly happened.

Julius then headed to the goon "you should have taken the beer" he said while making the bleeding stop with a nearby piece of cloth, the man with the funny hat wasn't too far from them.

"Hey, thanks" He yelled to him and offered a nice smile, maybe even too naive for someone who was close to getting kidnaped.

Gerald's face contorted to that of a seriously pissed demon at the sound of Jack's voice. with a roar, he tossed the knife at the recently "interrogated" alley dweller, slicing his leg. He then picked up the knife, and with rage and confusion in a giant storm inside his mind, he decided he had to go home. If he stayed here any longer, the Chief would probably end up getting pissed at him.

Christopher, however, was feeling fairly good about himself. Nothing life-threatening had happened today, and he still had some Credits to spend. However, this happiness didn't last long, as when he passed by an alley, one of Winfred's henchmen shoved a chloroform covered cloth into his face, instantly knocking Christopher out. Goon #3 the picked up Chris with a slight grunt, and then began the short trip back to the "lair".

(Sorry if this looks kinda dumb on my part... >.>)

As soon as Christopher left, Sayoko couldn't ignore her feelings for very long. She had a strange hunch something might be up... she knew that usually when she did, something bad was going down close by.

...I wonder if that man will be okay... Sayoko thought as she set down her donation box... ...maybe I should follow him? She decided, heck, why not? Hiding her donation box real quick, she quickly sped off after Christopher, taking her magic magatama with her and hiding it in her shirt before catching up with him, yet keeping far enough away to where he wouldn't notice her...

As some time passed, she began to feel very stupid doing this. What am I doing?! She thought, it must have been my sixth sense being goofy again... I let my curiosity get the better of me, and now I feel like a fool... and having done this for a pointless reason...

She then noticed Chris get pulled into an alley... and rushed over afterwards, Wait! Did... did something just happen?! Maybe my sixth sense wasn't entirely wrong.

As she entered the alley, she saw, just in time, the goon leaving with Chris... "H-hey, you!" She shouted in her bravest voice, but only for a couple moments, "What are you doing? Um... sir..."

Connor heard someone shouting nearby and wrote out a sick note. "I'm gonna be off school today." he grumbled. He ran a bit more, reached a ladder got to the top of a building and saw another goon in the alleyway opposite it. "Damn."

Goon #3, barely regarding the girl who had just said something to him, immediately started to jump away. " The boss don't want no more of those mistakes," he thought to himself as he remembered the other two goons that the Boss had presumed dead. The Goon then looked at Chris for a second. " You're the Boss's first test subject, for the Enhancer," he said, pronouncing his "e's" more like "a's".

(Is the Goon's speech all thought? It's hard to tell without italics or a better indication that it's thought for me.)

Sayoko stood for a moment before walking into the alley and trying to be more demanding in tone... or at least attempting to, "Please, sir, let him go..." She asked. She then saw one other person far off down the other end of the alley... Eh? Someone else is here?

As Ty began to walk out of the alley from where he shot the lamp post, he heard noises coming from inside the alley. He walked in, both guns ready to fire. He wasn't sure what to expect, but the alley was dark, so he put out his cigar so he wouldn't give himself away.

((Thats all I can really do cause I really dont understand whats going on right now))

"No one try to be a hero now. Unless you want da boss to use you as experiments," Goon #3 said before shuddering at the memory of some past experiment. " Now, leave," Goon #3 said as he jumped as far as his legs would let him, which was a few good blocks away. As he was now, it would only take about 8 minutes to get to Winfred.

She didn't know what direction he went off to... and indeed began to fret over Christopher's safety. "Wh... what do we do? I can't sense him well..."

Ty continued down the alley until he heard a voice. As he moved closer, he could tell it was female, and panicking. Moving closer, he heard a full sentence sounding like "Wh... what do we do? I can't sense him well...". Still holding up his gun (gangsta style), he called out "Hello?". He called it a little loud, and his bass-baritone voice echoed throughout the alley.

"Officer Tyray Prince." he responded, slowly moving closer. He lit a match and used a little of his power to brighten the flame. He was able to see the girl better now. He lowered his gun, but still kept it in hand just in case. He called "Who are you?" He was not sure if this person was good or evil, so he kept a slightly firm tone in his voice until he knew otherwise.

As the officer interrogated the girl, Goon #3 had just arrived at Winfred's place. " Password?," A voice from behind the bulkhead said. " It should be... Withdrawal today, right?," Goon #3 asked, and his response was the door opening. Winfred then shut it quickly, careful not to be seen, and then snapped on his latex gloves. " Good thing you're here. I was beginning to think I was going to have to use one of you as my... Test Subject. Now, strap him to the table. everything's set up, so don't touch it," Winfred directed, and Goon #3 did as he was told before leaving the room. Winfred then brought out a needle filled with an unknown liquid, and plunged it into Christopher's neck. "This is what I call one of my 'Downers'. you won't really able to feel, well, anything for the next few hours. Now, onto the fun part." After telling this to the unconscious Chris, he then pulled out a clear needle, this one filled with a thick red liquid. " This is my newest drug. I call it, 'Enhancer'. Let's see how it affects you," he said before plunging the needle into Christopher's spinal chord and pushing down the plunger. "I'll come back to examine the results in an hour or so, ok? Bye bye!," Winfred said before closing the door to Christopher's room, leaving him in complete darkness.

She was a little unnerved at the sight of the gun, but kept her wits about. Sayoko had a bit of a fear of guns, which she had made attempts to repress in the past. Wasn't nearby so bad now as it was back then, but the sight of one still tended to make her kind of nervous.

"Ah... so you're with the Police..." Sayoko said, after hearing his title of "officer" being announced out loud to her, "I'm Sayoko Harukaze, from the Harukaze Shrine. I followed a man in here when I saw him get grabbed by one other person..."

Ty had a feeling this girl was on the good side, so he spun the gun on his finger and stuck it back into his jacket. "Tyray Prince" he introduced himself again. "I'm really a lawyer, but i join the force now and then. I came down here to hold a cover while I fired at some goons." He re-lit his cigar. "What happened to this guy you were with? who took him away?" Ty was bored. He wanted any action he could get, and a kidnapping investigation sounded like fun. "I may be able to help!"

Sayoko explained, "The man he took away... he came into my shrine earlier, he left a donation... I had a suspicious feeling, so I followed him. I'm not sure what that guy wanted from him, though..."

She then noted that there was someone else here... she looked around for a moment to make sure... I feel another presence here, but one of good... who is it?

Appearance: Wearing tattered clothing, he has dark, unwashed hair and a dirty face. He isn't all that tall and is very thin, his face slightly tired, and seems meeker as a result of his stature than he really is. Green eyes, faded milky white, lie behind thick dark shades.
Details: An orphan, never knowing his parents. He originally lived in an orphanage, but ran away of his own choice late at night, abandoning the mediocrity and unending dullness of living under the care of the Sisters who tended him and some 50+ other children, all miserable. As a twist of fate, when he was 5, the Leak granted him unusual powers, which gave him a new way to live and thus spurred his choice of escape. Unfortunately, his life has not been one of splendor, and he has been reduced to petty thievery as a street-urchin. Oh, and he is also blind, from birth.

Power: Ryan has the uncanny manipulation of sound-- multiple abilities all relating to sound. To counter his blindness, he naturally can hear the world in a way one would see the world, a sort of echolocation that doesn't rely upon constant sound or clicks. As well as the ability to "hear sight", he can control any sound within earshot and manipulate it, to increase it's volume, decrease it, silence it, or alter what can be heard, to both everything or very specific targets. This also allows for him to pull tricks, like have extra sensitive hearing, or to muffle specific noises to others.

Ten minutes. Ten minutes passed since Ryan last heard the girl leave the temple building.
He could no longer sense her within normal hearing distance, so he thought it safe to make his move. Slipping out from one of the storerooms, and silencing his footsteps as a precaution, he slowly crept to where he the girl had placed the donations box. Fiddling around with whatever it was shoddily hidden underneath, he managed to pull it out, but accidentally knocking something over. It shattered loudly, and he jumped at the unexpected sound.

Even if he could 'hear' the world, he couldn't make all the finer details out, especially while he was using his gift to muffle things further-- His only drawback it seemed; his 'special sight' couldn't work properly when he silenced the nearby noises.

Quickly making his way to the street entrance, he made a fast dive for some nearby brush as a pedestrian passed by. He was panicking almost, silencing everything around him, even the rustle of the bushes he hid in. It was best, he thought, if he decided to wait until the owner returned for sure and went inside, before making a hasty escape with the box and money.

Ty thought for a moment. I wonder if this has anything to do with those other two who were trying to jack that guy.... As he was about to ask her another question, he noticed Sayoko looking around. Ty became slightly uneasy, and reached into his jacket. He just kept his hand there, but he was clutching the grip of one of his guns. "I think we better get outta this alley." he suggested. "Who knows what could be here."

"Umm... o-okay..." Sayoko said. She was also completely unaware that her shrine had been infiltrated by someone and her donation box stolen... depending on things, she might not come back for a while. Poor girl, she wasn't going to be too happy when she got back home.

She followed Ty out the alley, and decided to ask, "U-ummm... do you think... I could come with you, if you go?" She then said. He's probably gonna say no...

"I won't tell anyone, but to be honest, ever since that leak, I dont think its uncommon anymore to have some strange power. Look at me!" Ty snapped his finger and a flame flew out of his cigar and hovered over his hand. "I'm a pyro. I have complete control over fire. I just cant make it. only control it. It doesnt hurt me either." He grabbed the flame and it went out. "I wont tell anyone though. And you can go change if you need to."

"R-right!" Sayoko then said, putting on her best "determined" face. She then ducked back into the alley, forgetting that Connor was there, and held up the magatama...

"MIKODAAAA!" She shouted. And within moments, the magatama glowed brightly and a light enveloped Sayoko. Within moments, her usual miko clothes changed into a rather stylish and unique looking miko costume different from the previous one, wearing red gloves, a long white scarf, a red bandanna mask, and a pair of goggles on her head.

No longer was she Sayoko, but her superheroine identity... the Miko Maiden, Shrinesmaid!

Shrinesy soon came back out to Ty, clutching her gohei in her hand, and nodding, "Okay... I'm ready."

(Lida: Yeah, but I wasn't sure if Jack should step in just yet. ^_^;;;)

(Apollo: You called your character Flux at one point so I got confused here. >_>)

"Ah!" Shrinesmaid suddenly turned chipper as she pet Connor's head and smiled, "Aw, what a cute little kid..." He's a good guy too, I can sense it... I guess it wouldn't hurt to take him with us. She then felt an aura of evil for a moment, only for it to disappear... what was that, all of a sudden?

Jack, meanwhile, from the shadows, saw his target... Tyray Prince. The picture of him in the photo matched perfectly... he didn't hang around there, and quickly headed away before any of the heroes could detect him. He was going to wait till Tyray was alone before making his move... he returned to where he left Erin, and nodded, "I've found him. But I'll strike when the opportunity is good. He's got friends with `im, and I don't want them getting in my way."

Fighting off a bunch of normal humans was easy for him. Multiple superheroes, on the other hand... tended to present a problem. He didn't want to bother with that sort of annoyance.

Erin stayed close to Jack, hiding herself as well. She was only going to step in if she was needed. Erin waited for Tyray to be alone as well...

Ty told Connor "I suppose you can tag along. Just dont slow me down." he said, going in the direction Sayoko pointed. Ty pondered the thought about an 11 year old attorney in training, but dismissed it when he remembered he himself had entered law school only at age 17.

((Btw I forgot to mention that Ty also carries a pimp style cane where the wood can be removed to reveal a sword.))
